Excellent posts Myra It recently struck me while I was reading of the self proclaimed "absence of pride" shared among three or four of the forum elite....how monstrously absurd are some of these posts. ABSENCE OF PRIDE ? How can there be absence of pride in posts that are overflowing with ARROGANCE. My question is arrogance of what ? It is as if some seem to think that I should be foolish enough to wish to MIMIC them ! Instead of a JFK research debate, this daily sounds more like a lecture from MRS. MANNERS... a long ago TV hostess. I also feel a little differently regarding what "I Owe" the hosts of this forum. I feel that I owe them no more or no less than I owe any other individual on this forum or that which they owe me. Am I really expected to be so culturally well mannered that I am to accept SLANDER....and told that I am to accept it because the slanderers are "picking up the tab?" I am expected to prostitute myself to prove that I am one of the jolly good old chaps ? My only SIN is one of Omission ! I refuse to pretend to agree with statements that hold no truth, and are meant to enrage thru malicious slander, that is every bit as venomous as abuse of race or gender. I wouldn't submit to this if you were going to boot me off the face of the earth....much less this forum ! I realize that I have entered a gunfight armed with a pen knife. Myra I offer you a very sincere apology. It was not until I had read your post #236 and subsequent comments by such prideless stalwarts such as John, Robert Charles and Mike that I noticed that we were being referred to being linked as if we were two peas in a pod. Though many of our thoughts seem to be in agreement, I would feel very bad if because of this, it was thought that you alone were supporting such a derelict as I. I am quite sincere when I say "I am truly sorry." My own "self respect" would suffer were I not serious. You know, it must be either a symptom or a result of my perceived mental unbalance, but what I hear these "stalwarts" exclaiming is a great amount of PRIDE in their attack and disclaimer of the human benefit brought about by pride and self respect. Their "self pride in their rightousness" does not allow them to withdraw. It is they, not I, who have kept these flames burning. It is as if these "prideless persons" will not be satisfied until I sink with my ship. If my posts are re read, you will see several attempts that I have made to bail out. Regardless, I am satisfied with myself except for the discomfort which I may have caused you. I also have a great deal of faith in my prior exclamations, and I do take pride in being exactly what I am and in the beliefs which I hold. I have defended them before ! Charlie Black

John I must disagree with "most" of your feelings regarding pride, though I am not referring to "false pride" or a "false" sense of having significantly contributed to a cause or event in which one has truly had no influence. True pride and "earned" self respect are the only rewards available to great numbers of people. I believe strongly in the "earned" self reward of the accomplishments of ones own person, family, team, school, organization or associations. It is a true natural "motivator" toward continued progress and accomplishment. I feel it is just reward for the body, mind and soul. I personally would rather die than be forced to live without self respect. As a matter of fact, other than my family, "self respect" is my proudest achievement and reward. I honestly believe that monetary reward, although very nice, is far below the rewards granted by sense of accomplishment and the self respect which it bestows. I do not see how ANYONE could ever be motivated that did not seek achievement or self respect. It is possible for persons to escape their family, their military, or even their nationality. But regardless of what one does or where one goes, the "INNER MIRROR" with which we are all both gifted and burdened cannot be escaped, and can both highly reward us or bring forth our demise. Truly earned pride and self respect are the most important traits by which I measure others. Frankly, I am quite uncomfortable and cannot linger long in the company of those in whom these traits are lacking. Perhaps this is why you and others have felt that I take umbrage in the lack of importance which you place on it ! One not having self respect cannot be humilated, angered, or motivated by WORDS ! Earned self respect and pride, combined with a good concience, are what I truly seek as rewards of this life. I personally cannot even "imagine" life without them ! Nor do I seek "improvement ! At some point in the past, I remember documenting that several members of the W.C. thought Helen to be a complete loon. What concerns me even more however are some other factors. 1) Would the real Oswald have stood over the body and fired a coup de grace so that he couldn't be identified......but leave his wallet at the scene ? 2) If this were a planned murder of Oswald, why was the assassin(s) "walking"? 3) Why was Tippitt, if he did not know Oswald, drawing his gun? 4) Was the wallet a plant? 5) Was Tippit a part of the plot and was to pick up Oswald, but was foiled by Oz realizing that he was a Patsy and firing first. 6) Was the Tippitt murder unrelated to JFK? 7) If the wallet was not a plant, did Oswald usually carry two wallets to work, both having the same ID's? There is very much wrong here, not even mentioning things such as automatic pistol shell casings, the handling of Tippit's pistol, reports of two killers, illegal line up ID's, and dissimilar reports of the murderer(s) by different eye witnesses. With all of these inconsistencies, why was "looney tunes" Helen Markham the W.C."s primary witness? And then think of the solid witnesses that were not called before the W.C......then further imagine Jack Ruby begging to be taken into federal custody, stating that he had important information and being DENIED by the Chief Justice USSC. All members I wish to apologize for my addition to the fuel that seemed to combust this subject. I could have taken some remarks that I found objectionable, made a simple comment of my disagreement, and gone forward. I do not by nature take the soap box in support of Nationalism, as I have been in support of very little of my nations foreign policy during the past decade. As a matter of fact, I have expressed so on this forum, letters to editors, etc., repeatedly. I frankly don't see how many, outside the confines of an asylum, could defend our (the U.S.) ridiculous empirical bullying which could not even be slightly concealed as anything other. It is as if too small a man ( President) awakened one morning with unchallengeable power, and was determined to show the world. And he did ! To the detriment of the entire world. This thread, for some reason raised my ire, not in support of Nationalism.......but for the first time in my life, I experienced something that I suppose would be akin to being a black man in the Old South. As a white Anglo Saxon Roman Catholic, it was a feeling that I had not only never experienced, but one which I had never "truly" tried to understand. For my lack of better vocabulary, I will state that I felt that I was being "racially" attacked for the first time in my life and was faced with the "fight or flight" crisis. As a result of my lifelong particular experiences, my nature is to "fight". Sort of a "fool rushing in", childish scenario. I apologize to my hosts and to those of you who have contended with me. Robert Charles Has it occurred to you that people have been purposely and repeatedly degraded and that your advice is to "accept those degradations or go away"? This REALLY has little to do with NATIONALISM and very much to do with "universal manners between mutually respectful human beings". If I am removed from this forum, as I don't doubt that I will be, it will be for two reasons only : 1) My sincere statements of what I, and I think others, see as truth. Not my dergradation of any person on this forum. 2) The arrogance which necessarily prevents John and Andy from admitting that they have both acted and spoken in an ungentlemanly manner to a segment of this forum....repeatedly. Andy Why do you insist on continuing to "talk down" to all Americans ? How does "degrading Americans" relate to taking offence "...at comments which describe the day to day realities of moderating this forum". You seem to think that there are not probably a great many persons on this forum, who have for a great many years, been positioned to handle a hundred fold, the difficulty of the problem of the "realities of moderating this forum"? When it comes to problems of persons handling life and death decisions, and other decisions which affect the lives of many corporate employees and the welfare and future of their families.......the difficulties of moderating this forum may seem to many to be pretty insignificant. If this forum was not furthering "your" best interests, your presence would not be here. This is not "self sacrifice" on your part, and I hope that there is no one here who is so extraordinarily naive to believe that it is. Again, you address this forum as if we were a group of turnips that "fell off the truck". I personally don't know you, but I know enough to realize that you are not one that could handle the stress of "real world problems of any magnitude". What you need to learn will not come from a book. DENIAL IS THE GREATEST OBSTACLE TO TRUTH, TRUST AND CLARITY ! Everyone I cannot imagine how John and Andy, realizing that their prior comments can be reviewed by the entire forum, can state that they have made no Anti-American comments. It's true that you two didn't imply that we Americans should be sent to the gas chambers, as you are too cultured to do so, but you you have in the past, and continue to at present, taken evey opportunity to "degrade" Americans. John even implied to me in a recent post that since he is "footing the bill", that if there is something that I disagree with, that I should "go away". This followed what I considered, as will most of you who read it, my non-abrasive post. This is like saying that if you are picking up the dinner tab, that I should agree with you or forfeit dinner ! That's OK ! Overhere we can still wander into the wilderness, sneak past the "redskins" and bag dinner! John also espouses that because "he personally" does not agree with Tony Blair's policies, that he himself should be excused from the Briish position on these issues. However he repeatedly has refused, by word and inuendo, this same "SANCTUARY" in his criticism of Americans. We Americans must be looped together because we culturally deserve no more. Furthermore, I, as do most persons who have any degree of self respect, do not like being "talked down to". A few of us in America have risen both mentally and emotionally above the grammar school level, toward which most of his comments seem directed. This will never happen; however I feel very strongly, as a matter of fact I would "Bet The Farm",...... that a truly independent researcher of these threads, would without hesitation determine, that there exists a great deal of "animus" toward Americans. What has previously been posted cannot be changed by someone saying something similar to .......... "I like some Americans, but most of them seem to be handicapped by the lack of culture which most of us Brits have of course inherited." Since I have graduated grammar school, I do comprehend that a smart person would not be addressing his master, who also holds the forum "purse strings", and who has previously exhibited animosity toward this depraved individual, in such a challenging manner. But as a poor uncultured American, I am unable to refrain from stating my "very true beliefs", even though I realize that my next correspondence from John will be an invitation to the Tower of London ! Hello Gary I believe you when you say that you think " a peer is of equal standing irrespective of class or culture". But what "you" think regarding this is not what is thought by a great percentage of people in an ethnically diverse and multi cultured country such as the U.S. For example if a black man is on trial for the molestation of a white young lady, in a Southern U.S. city which happens to have a predominantly white population, he will probably legally go to trial before 12 white angry jurors. Do you really believe that he would feel that he was being tried by a jury of HIS peers? The U.K., despite heritage and "some" cultural similarities, is socially far removed from the "true facts of life" in the U.S. Less than a hundred years ago, there were gunfights occurring still in the streets of some western U.S. cities. If an American law enforcment officer were told that he could not carry a gun.....he would rightly refuse and probably accuse you of being insane. When U.S. citizens are aware that the criminal element in this country all posess firearms, and if they were told by a politician that you cannot protect your wife and children with the use of equal force....I think that you would have an expatriate former U.S. politician looking for a job in the U.K. or elsewhere. The U.S. and the U.K. do not necessarily share the same problems just because we somewhat share the same language. In a manner of speaking, John Simkin is correct in that our cultures differ. But it isn't that simply explained. Some elements of American culture are quite similar to that in Great Britain. BUT..... we are multi cultured....the Poles don't have the same culture as our Arabs, and our indigenous population does not share the same culture as our French population, or our Vietnamese or Hispanic. We are quite intermixed. That is why I feel that your definition of "peer" or "peerage" is necessarily different than ours. Four hundred and fifty years ago, this continent was populated by what was commonly referred to as savages. Only Savages. Could the European colonist consider these "savages" as their peers? Life here was a long and rugged struggle for survival...in the not distant past. We are still struggling. That is why I feel that demeaning comments regarding American culture are very far out of order. We are two English speaking peoples who have been subjected to a far differing past four centuries. We, here in the colonies, are not that distant from those times only a little over a hundred years ago, that a farmer carried a firearm with him when he plowed his fields if he was to be at all certain of returning. Though I will be the one of the first and the loudest to say that we are two different societies and cultures......but I will never accept any insinuation that mine is lesser to ANY other. I am proud to say that in defense of our welfare, that we can be quite agressive, and have had damned good reason to be. My point being that we have been deliberately selected to be under represented by forum moderators, and this was done, in my opinion, as an insult ! Charlie Black

I asked a question in the "BEHAVIOUR" thread that has so far gone unanswered, but I feel that it is quite important to American members, so I will paraphrase it here. In "American culture", the merest hint of "unequal representation", will place a major stumbling block in the hearts, minds and attitudes of the "governed". If history is to be referenced, there is probably no more a defining point of agreement among Americans. Somewhat a colonial carry over I suppose. It is similar to the old revolutionary cry of "taxation without representation". My other question was somewhat related. It deals with the meaning of the words "peers" and "peerage". In American "culture" the word "peers" simply implies similarity or familiarity. I am inclined to believe that the British usage of "peerage" refers to something quite different. This is a "very important" concept in the American mind. Judgement by ones "peers" means something a little different in Great Britain than in the United States. If I am not mistaken, "peerage" in Great Britain is meant to incorporate a class structure. I well realize that this is your forum and you may set the governing rules as you wish. I do not mean to imply an absence of legality.....but I am questioning the old American definition of equality, which is deemed quite important in American "culture". Since the forum moderators seem intent on stating their opinions on the "lack of American culture", and have stated that Americans are the major problem on this forum.....I feel that what I consider a "lack of legitimate representation", is just another slap in the face to America, and what might be considered a "cultured" way of asking us to leave. Hello John I am happy to see that you have been able to choose a panel of moderators, none of which do I feel would be at all objectionable to this forums membership. This is of course your forum, and your right to choose the governing standards is not at all in question. But I, being an American, have a couple of questions that may not immediately come to the mind of those persons who are not. And I am not implying that the laws, jurisprudence and "customs" of any Nation has ANY bearing on the forum rules. The question that I have in mind, and that I have researched but do still not fully understand, pertains to the words "peers" or "peerage". In my country, the word "implies" a general similarity or familiarity. I feel that the more common British useage of "peerage" is most likely the more correct, but can be interpreted quite differently than the general American useage. My other question is somewhat related to peerage, tho from a different angle. It involves representation of the governed. History indicates that this has been a very dividing factor. In the U.S., the thought of "unequal representation" places a major stumbling block in the hearts, minds, and attitudes of "the governed". Once again, congratulations on your selections ! Even if accomplished....what would prevent our new "true patriots" from very shortly succumbing to the temptations of money and power, which will be offered by those same groups which are currently manipulating us, with "this exact same" power and money source? Has the "TRUE POWER" in both the U.S. and the entire world much changed from its configuration in the year 1963 and much before? Do the likes of organizations such as "Skull and Bones" and other such power centers really change their overall plans and goals? Do we really believe that there are persons who have the will and fortitude to resist, not only the rewards of power and money, but for them to gamble that they and their loved ones will remain "alive". People are purchased more by fear and threat than with currency! Under the proper amount of fear and inducement, where are those that will not be "bought"? I hate "defeatism".....but I have not been exposed to a game plan that I feel is even a "probable" winner. Are there some things, that in the absence of possible divine intervention, CANNOT be changed... regardless of how positive your attitude might be? Daniel Wayne...post # 147 It is wonderful to hear another "American" member of this forum who has not forgotten the fighting spirit which gave birth to the U.S., made it the greatest power that the world has ever known, in only a period of two and one half centuries, and upon several occasions, has been the primary reason that members here have the privilege of participating in, "what is theoretically", a FREE forum. Not to mention, we are participating with the privilege of using the English language.... rather than German, Russian or Asian. If a lack of culture is a result of being a nation for only this incredibly short time span, I will gladly sacrifice it. The next time the "British" or any of our other "allies" are on the verge of being overwhelmed, overcome and literally "sunk"......... I feel that they should absolutely refuse salvation, unless that person with the life jackets meets their cultural and social criteria. I think many of you British members should band together and erect a colossal memorial to Mr. Neville Chamberlain. He was truly a cultural ideal. Yes we lack culture ! We are the only nation who is so culturally deficient that we have maintained our right for citizens to bear arms. This "lack of culture" has given us the freedom to "bow" before no one at any time. Were this nation to ever be invaded, we have 300 million armed civilians. I personally own approximately a dozen and a half first class firearms. I am openly stating this so that you might more easily classify me as culturally sub-human. By congratulating Daniel Wayne in the opening of this post, I in no way mean to infer that he shares in some of my uncultured beliefs....I therefore wish to spare him the animus that will no doubt be directed at me. When I enrolled in this forum, I had no idea that an American enrolling had lesser stature and rights than "Old World" members. This is not meant to be a more acute criticism on any forum member than upon myself ! What I have perceived, and it appears to be rapidly growing, the "manner and intent" in which thread questions are being answered. They, for the most part, are not at all being answered ! We seem to read a thread, draw a bead on a particular word or phrase in which we have particular personal interest.....and then post a semi-thesis on this one narrow area of the thread, which very often is not the "poster's" intent or question. WE then have ultimately, tho not necessarily with purpose, often DIVERTED the "entire meaning" of the question or original statement made. We seem to do so to to re-introduce a usually much belabored point, often miniscule, in which we have perhaps an overly paranoid or semi-hysterical interest. I seems that we all are suffering from "ear and mouth disease" ! To the best of my knowledge, there is as yet, no cure. The effects of this disease result in the rapid shrinking of the ears, accompanied by a cavernous enlargement of the mouth. It is not known how or even "if" the brain is directly related to these anomalies. I didn't post this with the hope that there is an already existing remedy. It was meant merely as a warning, and was posted here because, one of the few things definite that we know regarding this disease, is that it has been discovered that its most prolific breeding ground has been on internet forums. I may be wrong again of course, but I thought that this thread's purpose was to determine what could be done, in order to better our forum, in the light of what appears to be the increasing and unnecessarily beligerant confrontations on this forum. It has been suggested that since 100% of these acts which amount to a lack of civility, can be traced to American origin, that it seems to be quite probable that this results from the cultural deficiencies prevalent in our American (United States) membership. Tho there has been a lot of parrying (myself included) with this issue, we seem no closer to arriving at solution than we are in JFK assassination research. Are we still seeking solution or will this too slip downstream as an unresolvable ? Perhaps a relaxation of the methods exemplified by "cultural superiority", may be in order to effectively deal with these types of persons who seem to have no interest in cultural uplifting. Methods more akin to "subway behavior" may be required to impress this group of ruffians ! Physical extermination is out of the question because they apparently breed like rats. What then can be done ? This discussion is no doubt impairing progress in the objectives of this forum ! Charlie Black

And by the way, didn't Ashton go into one of his whirling dervish tirades promising to prove that Burkely never left the autopsy room ? This procedure of autopsy on the most powerful political figure on earth, as well as being their military Commander in Chief, had to be the professional highlight of these doctor's careers. Yet knowing the scrutiny under which this procedure would be reviewed, they had the audacity to state that they felt that this was a "normal autopsy"? If these Doctors considered "THIS" to be a normal autopsy.....can you possibly imagine what would transpire at the autopsy of say an 18 year old seaman? I wonder how many were buried alive ! Members ..... Thank You I feel now that there must have been a divine intervention for which I am to be eternally grateful which guided me toward this particular topic. I could not express to you, were I to pen twenty-six volumes, the awakening which this one thread has bestowed on me. What probably was the final horror that sealed my thinking, was when the bright young John, had his very worldly senses nearly shattered, by hearing uncultured "racial slurs" uttered in the Stone Age culture of these United States, by no doubt some of those highly prevalent, roving, nomadic tribes of sub-humans, who have been long known to possibly forever have controlled these colonies. I have decided that it is impossible for me to further subject my family to any more of these sub human terrors. I realize however,the culture shock which would no doubt completely overwhelm us were we to attempt a direct move to somewhere in the UK. I have decided therefore that we should attempt a more gradual cultural progression. After a family meeting, we decided to attmpt to modify the "culture shock" by first emigrating to an African State, and then possibly thru Behrut, before our ascension to the UK. Just the thought of someone hearing "racial slurs" in this jungle of a country, makes my hair stand on end. I truly cannot thank you enough for providing me with this "potential salvation" ! I have a question, however I would like to preface it with a short statement so that what follows will not be misinterpreted. It is perfectly acceptable to me that John, Mike or nearly anyone (with the exception of myself and perhaps a handful of others) be appointed as moderators. I will absolutely accept and attempt my best to follow their suggestions. There is a very powerful "however" ! Does a spy look like and speak similarly to the motion picture portrait of the various James Bond actors? Does a "cat burglar have "claws" ? How do we really know what a fine young man with an apparently bright future truly is? Have double agents who have penetrated the highest levels of the most wary and cognizant of intelligence agencies ( complete with psychological testing, polygraph, voice stress analysis)...... Were they most likely on many occasions to have been judged in this same manner? Bright..devoted.. honest..having a bright future. This is "sincerely" not a desire on my part to undermine the legitimacy of "anyone" whom might be appointed a moderator. This is an attempt to infer that the success of such an appointment is "hit or miss" ! It was suggested that "prior forum deportment" would be a good measure.....but once again how would an "intelligently planted bad guy" act to not be recognized ? I mean an "intelligent plant", not an obvious forum xxxxx ! I realize that we are not recruitng to fill a spot in an intelligence agency. I am merely saying that if there are those who truly have "covert" motives, there is not a way in hell to recognize them.
