  1. I am researching documented interactions between Clint Murchison, Jr., Robert F. Thompson; Gordon McLendon and events that took place just before, during and just after November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas and therefore I am looking for input. I am avoiding undocumented associations and speculation. As Jack Webb used to say: "Just the facts".
  2. Steve, a review of the book is part of the title of this thread. I have the republished version and its quality of presentation is on a par with other publications on sale, as far as production is concerned. So I am aware of what the original text is composed of, as well as the new section of text which comprises half of the new book. My reason for asking for reviews, is in light of the renewed attention that the book is now getting due to Bob Dylan. I would like to know what members of this Forum think of its contents. Obviously some here give it high praise, because one name in particular (James DiEugenio) appears as an endorsement on the back book cover.
  3. Steve, I was not needling you, I wanted to know what you thought of the text inside the book, as in a book review, but you still haven't told us.
  4. Page 370 concludes that the major TV networks had delivered what is now called 'fake news' to hide the true story. Sounds just like the current ongoing Election results where someone just found another bunch of ballots stuffed in a drawer. At this rate this Election should be completed around the time that early votes begins the next cycle. But the point is, the idea that the US media is suppressing information and promoting propaganda is not new at all. Didn't someone shout 'Remember the Maine' some time before 1963?
  5. Lol Pete, I am sorry if I came across as rude, I am just an investigator working on a big project of which the JFK assassination pokes its nose into because of the timeline, the location and some of the people. There are a bunch of anoraks out there who hate my guts because I am putting the skids under their mythology regarding Radio Caroline, the con man Ronan O'Rahilly and the media story behind the so-called 'Swinging Sixties' (not!) There is a vast sea of claims and counterclaims relating to JFK's death and the only way to deal with this or any similar topic is by using academic standards and courtroom procedure, and therefore it may come as a surprise that I think that Donald Trump has a great case to be answered that many do not want to be heard. This topic is no different and that is why year after the same allegations get renewed about JFK but only a few can withstand the scrutiny of investigative analysis. I go where the evidence goes.
  6. Hi Pete, I was not aware of the F.B. comments, but I am aware of various claims and counterclaims. But where is the courtroom style proof for any claim about anything? I am trying to follow the kind of evidence that has a foundation in law and a foundation in fact that would be admissible in a court of law and not objected to and then disallowed.
  7. Has anyone here read this book in its latest format? What are your conclusions regarding the new 'half book' addition to the original by Rob Couteau? What are your conclusions regarding the original 1967 text by Stanley J. Marks (which seems to have inspired the 2020 eponymous record release by Bob Dylan)? I am currently reading this book.
  8. From memory only, I believe that the OP arrived at Galveston island in mid-1963 (before November 22), and the Mi Amigo docked there in March 1963. The MA was then stripped of its broadcasting equipment and put into storage at Houston for use by other McLendon stations, and the two 10 kW Continental Electronics transmitters were eventually sent back to the factory in Dallas to be refurbished. They were, and all equipment was reloaded during the closing hours of 1963 and the MA then left port under cover of the Christmas/New Years holiday period for alleged "sea trials". It actually docked at Murchison's island in the Bahamas and then went on to El Ferrol, Spain. The MA was to have been used as a base for releasing helium balloons over Cuba and releasing propaganda, the OP arrived and was outfitted for this purpose under the ruse that it was collecting upper atmosphere samples of radiation. RFK was running his operation from the southern campus of the U. of Miami at an old airship/helium base. For more on RFK and this period see Psywar on Cuba; numerous news items; and a book that is at my office and not in front of me about the clandestine ops in Miami, plus the big expose of that base in the Florida press. Other docs relating to the OP are at Mary Ferrell and Gary Murr first alerted one of my colleagues to their existence. The OP then went to the North Sea as a twin 50kW operation in 1965-1967, came back, got drowned in US lawsuits. The radio equipment was sold off and the ship ended up in the hands of the Collins Radio rep who began raiding Cuba with it and the ship had multiple names. He was shot dead in his Miami home while watching TV. The ship was denounced as a CIA vessel by Fidel over Radio Havana, Cuba, and Fidel started raiding other ships in retaliation. Now we are into the 1970s. To deescalate the situation the US Justice Department grabbed the ship and it was then given to a fishing fleet company on the East Coast. They shortened it and used it for many years until it was finally scrapped in fairly recent times. (All from memory for a quick response.) RFK never used either ship for broadcasting purposes. The OP was also tied to BAM - Manuel Artime Buesa and the same bank he used in Miami at the same location he used as the bank for his US address relating to his Central American fleet operations. RFK had him move everything out of the US to pretend that RFK and JFK were 'clean', which they were not. They were lying to the world and blaming the Bay of Pigs on Langley, but RFK's faction of CIA ops was in South Miami!
  9. Thanks John. Obviously someone ended up in Minsk at a radio factory, and the first question I have is how did they get there? Now while there is some debate as to the means of purchase in New Orleans for the purchase of a ticket for a voyage to France, there seems to be uniform agreement and documentation, that someone made that voyage. I am familiar in general terms with the extensive writings about "two-Oswalds", but leaving aside the questions relating to the specific identity of the person on the ship, we also know that a male passenger arrived in France aboard a specific vessel on a specific day and time; disembarked and then boarded another vessel for Southampton, England. We also know that on the day of arrival in southern England at Southampton, that this person told immigration that they intended to stay in England for a short time. We also know that on the day of arrival a UK General Election had taken place the day before and that the hotels in London were booked solid. We also know that this male passenger had limited funds when he left New Orleans for France. Now this is where the fuzzy part and speculation begins. So far we can go from New Orleans to France and from France to England, but then what? Well, the official version jumps to Helsinki, Finland and a move to an expensive hotel. This for the person with limited funds in New Orleans. Where does this person get the money from to do this? More to the point, how does the person get from Southampton in the extreme south of England to Helsinki in Finland on the Baltic Sea? Official and unofficial conjecture jumps in. Officialdom says that the passenger who told UK Immigration that he would stay awhile, suddenly arrives in Helsinki, Finland instead. Officialdom says there were no direct flights from the UK to Helsinki on that day to arrive in Helsinki at the documented time. An unofficial researcher claims to have talked to someone (hearsay) in flight bookings who told him that there were flights available. Officialdom wonders how a new arrival in Helsinki, a foreigner from the USA, could suddenly get permission to enter the USSR when it normally took a week to do so. Officialdom then speculates that this person went to Stockholm, Sweden and got an immediate visa to enter the USSR. That's a lot of speculating after arriving for a fact in Southampton, England. But someone seems to have ended up working at a radio factory in Minsk, and the dates of the beginning and ending of their employment fits with another strange story: the story of a ship anchored off Stockholm in the Baltic which is claimed to be a CIA listening post disguised as a Swedish commercial pop music station funded by Clint Murchison Jr., managed by Robert F. Thompson and programmed by Gordon McLendon, and all three are pals from Dallas, Texas. Their station called Radio Nord signs on about the time this person arrived in Minsk, and Radio Nord signs off just after this person left Minsk. Radio Nord had an uninterrupted signal stretching across the waters of the Baltic Sea, directly into Minsk. We also know for a documented fact that Radio Nord had listeners in the Baltic States. Now that's a lot of factual information mixed with a lot of speculation. I am trying to find the facts to document who and how a person got from Southampton, England to Helsinki, Finland; stayed at a expensive hotel and then went on into the USSR, all on limited funds, and all shrouded in mystery. The dots connect from New Orleans to France and France to Southampton, England, and then a gap, and then Helsinki, Finland, and then another gap and then entry into the USSR (by an American during the Cold War!), and finally arrival in Minsk. That's a lot of official and unofficial speculation. Surely by now something can be documented and verified to the standard of court room evidence?
  10. Hi Larry, thanks for that. It was Garry who wrote that there was more to find about Olga Patricia in his essay section titled "The Light We Cannot See", and that is why I was trying to find his work, but I can't locate it.
  11. Thanks John. So who was on the ship that docked at Southampton?
  12. Gary: I am very interested in reading your 177 page section titled "The Light We Cannot See" and the relationship between the CIA and Sam Cummings of Interarms/Interarmco .... but where do I go to buy a copy of it? I keep see references to the essay "Forgotten" but I cannot find any actual reference to its publication. Please help!
  13. I keep asking .... Gary Murr Advanced Member Members 315 posts Gender:Male Location:Fergus, Ontario, Canada Posted January 14, 2018 I thank you for your informative reply, Mervyn - much appreciated. Funny thing, timing is; I just happen to be in the process of the final edit/re-write of the particular segment of "Forgotten" that deals, in part, with the Olga Patricia story. It is a 177 page section titled "The Light We Cannot See" that examines in detail the relationship between the CIA and Sam Cummings of Interarms/Interarmco fame and just how the Agency accumulates and then distributes the machinery of war to those involved in their various clandestine operations. The Olga story is included in this section. It is nice to know that you found my initial work on this subject matter of interest.
  14. https://history.state.gov/historicaldocuments/frus1969-76ve10/d253 Akuarius II is the Olga Patricia disguised under another name. The person responsible for the Boca de Sama raid was shot dead in Miami while watching TV. He was he local rep for Collins Radio which outfitted the Rex for the Bay of Pigs as a command ship. Fidel Castro personally denounced this ship on Radio Havana as a CIA vessel.

  17. The problem with this mini-industry called JFK Assassination Wonderment, is that it goes around and around and around in circles repeating the same old issues, over and over again without ever getting anywhere. Somewhere, someone would have reached a documented court room conclusion. But there has never been a conclusion, only more and more speculation. Let me suggest something totally different. (Actually I have suggested it before). Tramps may be open to speculation, and fuzzy pictures alleged to be Bush and a lot of others, have all been commented upon, and so has that fuzzy man in the TBD doorway who Jones Harris thought might be Oswald, and he did that back a few months after JFK was killed. It wasn't LHO it was someone else, and then that led into speculation as to who else was in that fuzzy photo. All of this speculation went nowhere. But a lot of books got published. Now unlike fuzzy pictures of people, some things (like ships), are documented by umpteen sources, and of course ships were the source of transportation to the Bay of Pigs, and someone owned each ship. Who? Well, there was that debatable episode known as AMWORD that involved Manuel Artime Buesa = BAM. Larry Hancock has made more than a passing reference to BAM in at least one of his books, and the relationship of BAM to one ship I know a lot about. That ship was known as Olga Patricia. A lot of people in the 'Swinging Sixties' of the UK at the time of the Beatles and the "British Invasion" of the USA airwaves also know a lot about the Olga Patricia, because it became the home, after AMWORLD, of 'Swinging Radio England' and 'Britain Radio' - two 50,000 watts AM stations on board that same ship. It was then anchored three and a half miles off the coast of southeast England. Then, after 1967, the Olga Patricia came back to the USA and docked in Miami where a lot of court cases erupted over this vessel and its broadcasting equipment. In the end, the broadcasting stations were sent to an enclave nation in South Africa and they began broadcasting with new owners. But the ship ended up in the hands of the Florida rep for Collins Radio - you know, that same company that outfitted the 'Rex' for service at the Bay of Pigs. That company with CIA ties. Well the Olga Patricia then began raiding Cuba all over again, and after shooting up one coastal area and killing a teacher, Fidel Castro took to the airwaves of Radio Havana and denounced the ship and its CIA owners. It also led to a big piratical battle whereby ships were being grabbed by Cuba in retaliation for the activities of Olga Patricia. Then the US Justice Department waded in and seized the Olga Patricia which they found had scores of alternative names! It was then disposed of by the US Justice Department to a fishing fleet company who converted the vessel. By the way, that company had ties to Zapata and George Bush Sr. For years that ship (with yet another name), did its fishing job and only in recent times was it finally sent to the scrapyard. Now let's go back to 1963 and the AMWORLD days. The Olga Patricia is documented in declassified CIA documents as being purchased or leased to BAM as part of AMWORLD. You will find this documentation on the Mary Ferrell site. The Olga Patricia first showed up in Galveston, and so did another CIA ship tied to Gordon McLendon, Robert F. Thompson (TECOM, Inc) and Clint Murchison Jr. That ship was known as Mi Amigo and it had been another offshore radio station operating off Stockholm, Sweden during the time that Lee Harvey Oswald was in Minsk, and the McLendon manager sent to close down that station called 'Radio Nord', was told that it was the cover for a CIA listening post. Now, none of this is related to a fuzzy photograph and none of it is related to unfounded claims. All of it has been documented by multiple sources. One of the strange links is to Bobby Kennedy who was masterminding a lot of the activities relating to the earlier work of Olga Patricia, and there is compelling evidence to show his interest in the Mi Amigo - until November 22, 1963. The CIA has a huge base on the southern campus of the University of Miami. The Olga Patricia had been docked in a USAF pen in Miami and financed out of a BAM related bank in Miami. The history of these ships and the history of other offshore radio and television ventures of this time period all go back to Houston, Galveston and Dallas. At its center is BIG OIL and that was based in Houston and tax havens which was masterminded out of Chicago with links to the Bahamas. Now instead of following fuzzy pictures and speculating about people, why isn't anyone following these thoroughly documented links (to owners and operators), and then noticing where the ripples interact with each other? That is what I have been doing with my associates since I first took an interest in why Gordon McLendon had sent a carbon copy of KLIF, Dallas to England in 1964. That station was called Radio London and it became the blueprint for BBC Radio One - complete with jingles resung by PAMS in Dallas, Texas. Our investigation consolidate around finding the reason that Gordon McLendon was so interested in European broadcasting. Known as 'The Old Scotchman', McLendon was involved at a time when the owner of the Houston Post was tied to promoting the CIA's Radio Free Europe. So rather than go around and around and around in never-ending circles, why isn't the core of the JFK interest on this and other sites following up something that Larry Hancock has already taken note of long ago? It is something that Mary Ferrell can in part document, and needless to say my group already has a lot of evidence linking the story of AM pop radio to events in Dealey Plaza, and that is without even bringing in the sponsored polemical broadcasts of Herbert W. Armstrong who underwrote the operating costs of many of those offshore stations. As an aside, I personally met Bill Colby, one time head of CIA while in Texas working on a venture related to the man who had been responsible for three McLendon clone UK offshore stations. Colby also showed up in Pasadena, California as the guest of Herbert W. Armstrong. Now check into Armstrong's publications and you will find the forerunners of the 'Global Warming' issue; 'Brexit' and a whole lot more caked or cloaked in a religious cover which sound awfully familiar to news items of today. How about giving this subject more than a passing mention Larry? Maybe, just maybe, by following these documented links the path will lead to High Noon in Dallas on November 22, 1963, and to the vested interests in the death of John F. Kennedy? Whatcha say, Larry?
  18. So would this be another trip, in addition to his voyage by sea, and if it was, what was his destination?
  19. Thanks Joe. It's seems that this 'blueprint' for activities related to both 1963 and 2020 is being ignored.
  20. Hi Joseph. I was not aware of that but I am aware of https://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/fancy2.txt - however, when LHO arrived in Southampton he did so the day after a major election and lack of hotel accommodation in London. Then there is the question of how he could afford his hotel stay and how he got into the USSR. It has been suggested that he went via Stockholm and a rushed visa. All of that has been debated. But not the part about the CIA and Radio Nord which I have just put on a new thread. I will be interested in reading your observations over there. As for de Vosjoli, that seems to be a separate topic although it is something I am aware of. https://educationforum.ipbhost.com/topic/26827-the-strange-case-of-swedens-radio-nord-and-lee-harvey-oswald-in-minsk/
  21. I have a vested interested in this subject and you can find it at http://yesternoir.org which might make you think at first glance that it is about the 'Swinging Sixties' and a pop pirate radio station called Caroline. But it is not. It is a very deep and long-running investigation of which I will share part of it here to solicit comments, suggestions and informational additions to our research. It is all about two overlapping timetables. One of them concerns Lee Harvey Oswald. The other one concerns the radio ship 'Bon Jour' which was anchored in the Baltic Sea just outside Sweden's territorial waters and close to Stockholm. Radio Nord on board the ship 'Bon Jour' beamed programming devised by Gordon McLendon from a station operation managed by his buddy Robert F. Thompson of Tecom, Inc., and financed by Clint Murchison Jr., all from Dallas. It was eventually closed down by McLendon's network manager and he was told that the station was actually a CIA listening post using the cover of being a pop music station. Now for the Oswald timetable: Sept. 20, 1959 New Orleans Sails for Europe Oct. 10, 1959 London Takes Plane to Helsinki Oct. 16, 1959 — Arrives in Moscow Oct. 21, 1959 Hotel Berlin Apparent suicide attempt Oct. 31, 1959 U. S. Embassy Attempts to renounce U.S. citizenship Jan. 7, 1960 — Arrives in Minsk Jan. 1960 — May 1962 Minsk Oswald very closely surveiled by KGB Feb. 1961 Minsk Writes U.S. Embassy / Wants to return to U.S. March 17, 1961 Minsk Meets Marina Nikolayevna Prusakova April 30, 1961 Minsk Lee and Marina Married May, 1962 — Oswalds leave Minsk, travel to Fort Worth Now for the Radio Nord timetable: It commenced broadcasting on March 8, 1961 and it was closed down on June 30, 1962 I personally met the man responsible for closing down Radio Nord when I was at McAllen in 1979, and I am also in possession of his original manuscript and his final published manuscript. Unfortunately he died from illness a few years ago, and he trusted someone else to amend and publish his his final manuscript. But the thing is, he claimed that people in Dallas were involved with Lee Harvey Oswald and the assassination of JFK. He also claimed that the CIA were the secret movers and shakers behind Radio Nord. Find the coast off Stockholm on a map and draw a line over the Baltic Sea and into Minsk which at the time was part of the USSR, and it is where LHO was working in an electronics factory. For now, skip the questions about how and why LHO ended up in Minsk, just dwell on the fact that he was there, and so were the transmissions from Radio Nord on his radio set. But according to the CIA story, there was a listening post on board the 'Bon Jour'. Now if you are wondering how I connect all of these dots to the Blog I mentioned at the outset, it is because the 'Bon Jour' became 'Magda Maria' and then 'Mi Amigo', and Radio Nord became Radio Atlanta and finally Radio Caroline South broadcasting to southern England. The 'Mi Amigo' sank in a storm in the North Sea during 1980. Back to the question at hand: Are the LHO and Radio Nord timelines related by common interest?
  22. I arrived in Texas during 1971 from the UK, and I got a job running a weekly newspaper for a lawyer who wanted me to create a conservative alternative to the existing liberal daily. Well, I had a crash course in what "conservative" meant because in England, it referred to a eponymous political party, but what they thought was 'conservative' was not the same as the Duke of Duval and his buddies at Brown and Root. They had previously rigged an election to get LBJ on the path to becoming Vice President - before the President had his head blown off so that LBJ became president. Then there followed that strange cycle wherein the president resigned after his VP had resigned and the USA ended up with an unelected President and Vice-President. So if Joe Biden is the patsy for a brigade of new election fixers, it will be nothing new, will it? But isn't it strange that no one is talking about the election stolen by the Duke of Duval with Brown and Root money to get LBJ on his way to the White House via the US Senate? The silence is deafening.
