100 pennies

Recommended Posts

Decades ago, I was in charge of a Homicide trial where we had the right defendent but instead of a dollar bill which would have been easily to hold, we had a 100 pennies woth of evidence&testimony-with the help of an experienced and very sharp proscutor we were able to guide the jury to understand the value of what we had and the woman was convicted.

I think we're faced with the same effort with JFK, but I think we're lucky that we have alot of very astute people who can grasp and remember the "pennies" of this case. IF-and its a biggie-we can avoid rancor and ego I think we can solve it-think we already have-mostly.

In a courtroom, you have a captive audience. Your "100 pennies" are presented in one big bag for consideration.

In the outside world, pennies are usually presented one, maybe two, at a time. Put a penny on the street and see who pays attention to it, or picks it up. People will walk right by pennies, even 100 of them, if seen one-at-a-time over a long distance or time span. Put a dollar on the sidewalk, and it will be picked up right away.

What we need is a "banker" who can take the pennies from all of us and change them into a dollar bill (while weeding out the occasional Mexican Peso or Canadian penny) for presentation.

Mr. HUDSON - Yes; so right along about even with these steps, pretty close to even with this here, the last shot was fired - somewhere right along in there.

There was not another shot fired after the President was struck in the head. That was the last shot--that much I will say with a great degree of certainty.

There was flesh particles that flew out of the side of his head in my direction from where I was standing

"a second shot followed immediately and hit the right rear high of the Boss's head."

" I was trying to get a good look at President Kennedy. I happened to be looking right at him when that bullet hit him - the second shot.

Mr. LIEBELER - That was when the bullet hit him in the head; is that correct?

Mr. HUDSON - Yes; it looked like it ht him somewhere along about a little bit behind the ear and a little bit above the ear.

Mr. LIEBELER - On the right-hand side or the left-hand side?

Mr. HUDSON - Right hand. "

"At the exact time I saw a shot that hit the Boss about four inches down from the right shoulder;"

Forgive me, but us ole "simple minded" country boys have to keep things extremely simple in order to understand and grasp everything.
