Michael Hogan
“Dorff not only includes everything, meaning every piece of valid evidence and character in the world of JFK research, he sculptures it into an incredible and quite plausible plot. It may be the first book in the case, fiction or non, that develops JFK as a solidly structured character. Has anyone here read it yet? And here's an interesting link on the author's site: http://www.assassinationofjfkin22days.com/...s_gangsters.htm Is he really listing Sylvia Odio and the Castros as conspirators? Or is that just a poorly arranged page? I hope...
Myra Bronstein
"I heard a sound like a balloon popping", she said. "Jack grabbed his throat and said: "I'm hit!" ..." http://www.assassinationofjfkin22days.com/...dy_excerpts.htm I wonder what convinced Dorff to use that iffy "quote." Wasn't it Kellerman that claimed he heard President Kennedy say it?

Larry Hancock
For those that may not know Bob Dorff, he was the individual who followed on with Fonzi's research and initiated the research that located Morales' friend Reuben....leading to most of the development of information on Morales. It's also important that its a novel and he's writing for dramatic effect. Sort of like Bugliosi....grin. Larry
Kathleen Collins
Based on the quotes here this book looks like a big ol' smear.http://www.assassinationofjfkin22days.com/...dy_excerpts.htm Myra, it's self-published, which doesn't say it's bad. Sometimes it's hard to get certain subject matters published. I belong to 2 writer's workshops and they all self-publish like mad -- I don't and won't -- and walk around happy. The books are printed but not edited. Sometimes you can get a decent paperback cover. They give you a small amount of author copies and you have to pay half-price for every other book you want. I've seen novels costing $30 bucks. They don't promote you or your book. I don't even think they pay you. You pay them. I'm talking about Publish America, i Universe, ex libris. Larry I don't recall having met Bob Dorff, but when I got to a lot of weird places - Chauncey Holt, Brad Ayers,...they asked me about Bob Dorff so I knew he was there before me. I wonder what percentage of books on the assassination of President Kennedy are self-published. I know Carroll and Graf publish books on Assassination-related subjects. They're a respectable publisher. But other than that... Oswald's Tale was published by a biggie, Random House, because of the author, Norman Mailer. Mailer couldn't prove a conspiracy. Someone told me Random House was a CIA-media asset. I know Viking published DeLillo's novel (which I haven't read yet), Libra, about Oswald, in 1988; the same press Jackie Onassis worked for and possibly left because of critics like John Leonard. He wrote, "Someone should be ashamed of herself," because Viking was going to publish a novel based on Chappaqquiddick. (Jackie went to work for Doubleday.) It seems to me that Robert Dorff self-published either by printer or using one of the self-publishing entities around today, and is selling his book on his own Internet site.
