LHO role

Assumed he was a patsy (IMHO, he absolutely was), what in your opinion exactly was the LHO's role in Dallas that November 22, before his arrest?

Hard to pin down with the available evidence.

1. Maybe he had no role.

2. Maybe he brought the rifle to work, and someone else does the deed:

A) with no foreknowledge, Oswald is a patsy, but unwittingly complicit.

with foreknowledge, Oswald is a willing co-conspirator.

3. Maybe he never brought the rifle to work

4. Maybe he never owned the rifle, and the so-called evidence of him ordering the rifle is a part of his patsification (if that's even a word).

I have him as a CIA asset, charged with infiltrating Pro-Cuban groups. I can't really place him in that role in the TSBD, but that is not surprising to me.
