Tom Gram
Full tweet won’t load for me. Did they just unredact the name of this Airline in the most recent release? I harp on this all the time, as does Malcolm Blunt but this corporate/proprietary cover stuff is probably the biggest topic where I see potential relevance to the JFKA in the remaining CIA redactions. Joseph Backes
Was the #CIA monitoring U.S. politicians? Fairways Corporation was a CIA sponsored charter airline which was used for "field work in the United States." Prominent politicians, including Robert Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Hubert Humphrey, used the airline unaware it was owned and operated by the CIA. Sorry guys it loads for me. I have an absolutely ridiculous size limit imposed on me. So, I can't post proper images. So, see RIF #104-10438-10237. pages 10 & 11. https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=230890#relPageId=10 https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=230890#relPageId=11 There's a paywall but some smart people should be able to find a way around that https://www.nytimes.com/1975/07/08/archives/cia-allegedly-flew-unwitting-officials.html
Joseph Backes
Odd things you find on the internet... There just happens to be a CIA Services that runs a Fairway Place Homeowners Association. https://www.ciaservices.com/cia-community-index.php?id=428 ? Joseph Backes
There was a plane crash at Dulles in 1988 in which a pilot was killed. He was apparently flying for Fairways Corporation. And the CIA would not let the press know the name of the pilot. Eventually, they did. He was Melvin Shockley. Mark Knight
I had no problem accessing the entire Twitter thread. But I have a Twitter account. Lack of a Twitter account may be the difference in your ability to access the entire thread.
