Robert Bennett was the US Senator from Utah from 1993 through 2011. At least the author is honest about his biases: "Like many people in the United States, the author has a deep personal animosity for the Mormons and their church, which stems from the obvious hypocrisy the Church has long practiced in American life. Robert Bennett, for example, comes from a long line of eminent Mormons, and yet he has already been shown to have continuously lied to the US Congress during the Watergate Scandal. After having achieved notoriety for that, Bennett later became a Senator, as if having publicly proven himself a xxxx and a scoundrel paid his admission ticket into the most corrupt club on Earth, the U.S. Senate."---author John F. You don't actually believe this nonsense, do you? I was never a fan of Senator Robert Bennett, but he was no killer. And this thing about the "Mormon Mafia"... that was merely the nickname of a group of Mormons loyal to Howard Hughes who bought Las Vegas properties in their names so that sellers wouldn't raise their prices knowing that the super-wealthy Howard Hughes was paying for it. Rather like Walt Disney who secretly bought property in Florida for his planned Disney World. Las Vegas was a Mormon settlement long before the real Mafia moved in and took it over. Howard Hughes moved in later and hired mostly Mormons because he was impressed with their honesty and clean living... no smoking, drinking, or -- ironically -- gambling. (Gambling was/is allowed, but considered a bad thing if done in excess.) That is why I said it required a few suspensions of disbelief. What I found worthy in the article was an airing of connections between and among Bennett and certain JFKA/Watergate players. The article also serves as an example of the type of conclusions one gets from pig-monkey bigots who see secretive religious cabals behind events---in this case, one (the author) who openly harbors biases against Mormons, and says so. Personally, I regard Mormons as a successful group who thrive in the Utah desert. They have lower indices on many social maladies, such as crime, drug problems, out-of-wedlock births, and so on.
