John Geraghty
Has anyone got anything to add to this list? I am compiling all e-books and online documentaries for the upcoming COPA site. John
Len Colby
Per Sid:"Best Witness, with an Intro by Mark Lane, is also available as a free download via http://www.vho.org/aaargh/fran/livres3/pipermel.pdf" It is a Holocaust denial book and has nothing to do with the assassination. I doubt it deserves a place on John's COPA list. Lane became the "in house attorney" to Willis Carto one of America's leading neo-Nazi's around the same time he started representing Jim Jones. Robert Howard
While there is supposedly no substitute for JFK Assassination documents per se, it is also a fact that books and especially e-books are a treasure trove for not just JFK Researchers, but those whose endeavors provide a crossover of research from subjects as diverse as political and military history, to intelligence history of various countries, which, as a collective whole are, in effect, redefining the historical record of the 20th Century, and consequently are providing a more fluid and chronological analysis of all the plots and subplots regarding the political assassinations of that same century. While there are those whose fear of this fact, may lead to the unearthing of various and sundry, dirty little secrets it is also a fact that "truth," is the bulwark for the survival of free and democratic societies, as well as a means to prevent scandals, and plots to rob societies of that same truth. It is with that in mind, that researchers should be aware of a new development that hopefully, will usher in a new era of knowledge, opening doors that have been denied previously. The Future of Google Book Search Our groundbreaking agreement with authors and publishers. Three years ago, the Authors Guild, the Association of American Publishers and a handful of authors and publishers filed a class action lawsuit against Google Book Search. Today we're delighted to announce that we've settled that lawsuit and will be working closely with these industry partners to bring even more of the world's books online. Together we'll accomplish far more than any of us could have individually, to the enduring benefit of authors, publishers, researchers and readers alike. It will take some time for this agreement to be approved and finalized by the Court. Robert Howard
For those who are always searching for books on the assassinaton, and/or items peripheral to same. There is a treasure trove of virtually unlimited books that can be read online, and if you are semi-literate regarding computers and software program editors for Windows and Mac you can save yourself a lot of trouble via the copy and paste function. The source is called NETLIBRARY, and is accessible via some libraries if you live in the United States. You must be able to access your libraries database to do this, and from that point you simply obtain a password and username. If you are a Mac user, there is a problem sometimes with some books that apparently aren't in MAC format, but the percentages are definitely much, much lower than higher as far as books available. I also have a link to a book available online if you are a member of maryferrell.org See PHOTOCOPY OF BOOK:"RED FRIDAY, NOV. 22ND, 1963" BY DR. CARLOS BRINGUIER http://www.maryferrell.org/mffweb/archive/....do?docId=12698 I have not perused this link from beginning to end, so maybe I should have done so first, to make sure it is the entire book from start to finish. Another shameless plug is for our own Education Forum, and maryferrell.org. David Talbot on his blog cites these two sites as the best websites for JFK Research. William Kelly
Thanks for that Robert, there's a lot of good information there, especially among the chronology page 11/ (13 of MF) regarding the Cuban infiltrators from the Rex, some of whom were caught, others executed.
