Lee Forman
I don't know that the order will post the same...starting with the Pick-up at the right, then going all the way to the right and panning left. Pick-up. Three individuals - one in driver's position, two at rear behind bed. Practically every car in this shot has an occupant. James Tague at Underpass on Main St [far right of photo] Moving left - suitguy more left - guy in car more left - next car in line final visible in cropped version of Cancellare [minus SOB man] - Rambler? 1963 original print scanned at 360dpi. Lee Forman
Possibly also taken by Cancellare - this represents the borders of the crop vs the total photo, with the detail at right having been removed. Too bad we can't get a closer look at the man at the far right. Does anyone know why the man in the white pants has been circled? The paper backing from Moorman's polaroid, seen in the Zapruder film as the white blob in the grass by Altgens, is also present in this shot. Lee Forman
'Pick-up man' and his colleague - enhanced, but without interpolation. Nice hat.
Jack White
Thanks, Lee, for the best Cancellare enlargements yet seen! I now clearly see FOUR persons in the pickup cropping...driver, two in truckbed, and ONE ON THE SIDEWALK in the background about 30 feet south! Keep in mind that Commerce is three lanes wide, and that the pickup is in the NORTHMOST LANE, with moving traffic in the MIDDLE lane (a large van moves up the street in Zapruder). The lanes are just 13.3 feet wide. IT IS UNLIKELY THAT ANYONE WOULD STAND BESIDE THE PICKUP IN THE MOVING TRAFFIC. The second man in the pickupbed is slouched down very low by the tailgate, with only his head and shoulders showing. The sidewalkman is just beyond the rear of the pickup cab...but about 30 feet south of the pickup, and blurry. The driver has his elbow resting on the edge of the window. VERY CLEAR! Thanks! Lee Forman
My pleasure gents. Jack - not sure on that sidewalk person - I think it may be a shadow from the trees above. Robin's version gives you a larger perspective. Robin - interesting how my version has SOB man cropped out, and yours has Tague cropped out. Do you have a better view of SOB man - the individual at the far right? He's in a perfect spot to act as a signal man, and he sure doesn't look the same in the Cancellare as in Zapruder. Anyway - we could also work along the back of the other photo, which may or may not be a Cancellare. Some interesting stuff to look at anyway. - lee

Lee Forman
One more interesting crop...pity that these folks are so far away.
Lee Forman
Close up of the grass - many small white appearing items - it would be hard to try to call any of them skull fragments. Couldn't successfully find the furrows in the grass. May have found a lens cap indicated by the red arrow. Fun looking anyway. Took a hard look where Altgens was standing - just nothing conclusive. I added the tint to the curb line and to the grass.
Lee Forman
May be the lens cap as seen in the extant zfilm - crop z355.
