  1. Oh yes, several years ago.....I was turned down flatly. I politely protested but to no avail. 'The Collection's not open to researchers" I was told. I ve' been down to that library and the LBJ library across the way. Gary mack told me that The 6th floor has the other half of the collection. I'd love to see it some day.
  2. WOW , How did you manage to get by the guard dogs? Was this one of the Archivists working in the Special Collections (Texas History ? ) Bill
  3. Jim, I'm curious as to where you found the notes?
  4. Hmmm, Man.....for a minute there I thought I was on myspace.com
  5. Jim , The papers at UT are the Julia Knecht collection (Walker's gal Friday) they contain the stuff she retained of Walker's and her own material. The collection was split in two, and half is at UT and the other at The Sixth Floor. Gary Mack told me 2 years ago that the stuff he has is not processed yet. The stuff at UT is off limit's to "researchers" per Walker's nephew's restrictions. They treated me rather curtley when I asked WHY?
  6. Harold Alderman told the FBI he received a Fair Play for Cuba handbill from Harold Murray, who told him he picked it up at Tulane University, possibly in the library. http://www.history-matters.com/archive/jfk...H26_CE_3028.pdf "Murray told the FBI that a pile of FPCC handbills with a name and post office address, was left in the foyer of the Tulane University library." (Harvey & Lee, p535) Thanks Mike, but what I'm looking for is a statement that says it was actually the steps of the Law Library.
  7. My age is starting to show, and I can't remember where I read that, the FPCC leaflets found at Tulane were actually found on the steps of the Law Library. Anyone know where I might have seen this??????
  8. You might want to read "The Jewish Threat" by Joseph W. Bendersky. Anti- Semitic Politics of the US Army. 'Birds of a feather....... '
  9. Jim , I don't believe Hemming was referring to Surrey, who said he was not there when the shot was fired ( tho he may well have been). Walker was seldom alone in the house, at least since the time he supposedly started recieving death threats. Which makes me wonder why he would happen be alone on 4-10, esp. after Surrey spotted cars and people casing the residence in the days prior.
  10. John , Walker went to Shreveport to speak at a Citizens Council meeting, he was enroute there when the assassination occured, he always stayed at the Captain Shreve Hotel, his home away from home, Ted's cronies in Dallas knew where to reach him, one of them informed Thorsten, and thats all I'm at liberty to divulge at this time (sorry!). This incident is prime evidence that Oswald was known to Walker and his buddies before 12/3 when Marina decided to come clean to her interogators.
  11. After researching this for a number of years, I've come to the conclusion that the Oswald arrest story which was obviously bogus , was an attempt by Walker to get back at RFK for arresting him and sending him to Springfield Mo. for Phsyc evaluation. The arrest story later evolved to include Ruby as an accomplice with LHO, only after Ruby killed Os. This was a common theme among RW pundits , that RFK was really responsible for his brothers death at the hands of communists, who the AG refused to have registered. Walker was a proud man who would not forgive an embarrassment like that at the hands of the two men he hated.
  12. This attempt to link the Kennedy brothers with the death of Marilyn Monroe has been going on for sometime. This is a CIA document dated 3rd August, 1962, that appeared on the web a few years ago Wiretap of telephone conversation between reporter Dorothy Kilgallen and her close friend, Howard Rothberg; from wiretap of telephone conversation of Marilyn Monroe and Attorney General Robert Kennedy. Appraisal of Content: (Blacked Out). 1. Rothberg discussed the apparent comeback of subject with Kilgallen and the break up with the Kennedys. Rothberg told Kilgallen that she was attending Hollywood parties hosted by the "inner circle" among Hollywood's elite and was becoming the talk of the town again. Rothberg indicated in so many words, that she had secrets to tell, no doubt arising from her trists (sic) with the President and the Attorney General. One such (illegible) mentions the visit by the President at a secret air base for the purpose of inspecting things from outer space. Kilgallen replied that she knew what might be the source of the visit. In the mid-fifties Kilgallen learned of secret effort by US and UK governments to identify the origins of crashed spacecraft and dead bodies, from a British government official. Kilgallen believed the story may have come from the (illegible) in the late forties. Kilgallen said that if the story is true, it could cause terrible embarrassment to Jack and his plans to have NASA put men on the moon. 2. Subject repeatedly called the Attorney General and complained about the way she was being ignored by the President and his brother. 3. Subject threatened to hold a press conference and would tell all. 4. Subject made references to "bases" in Cuba and knew of the President's plan to kill Castro. 5. Subject made reference to her "diary of secrets" and what the newspapers would do with such disclosures. Most of these stories originated from the efforts of one Frank Capell, the RW's propaganda minister, in an ongoing program to dicredit the K's, He would later resurface after 11/22/63, to do his handy work in that case as well.
  13. Greg ; With regard to your post on that other forum, after i did some " digging" i found that indeed there was a bill passed and signed on Oct 11th 1962 by JFK. It was the Postal Service Act and Federal Employees Salary Act of 62', Pub Law 87-793, I guess this was the one that took effect in Jan. 63? I also have a listing of a law approved Sept. 30th 1961, Postal Rate Adjustment HR7927 Public Law 87331. This contained a reinsatement of screening Communist politcal propaganda by Treasury Dept. Same provisions as the later Bills.
  14. Robert , without trying to sound like a know it all, I have determined after too many years, that Oswald was one of the worst things to happen to the leftist, Marxist , communist and socialist cause, in decades! Virtually nothing he did, benefited his 'cause'. Once you understand this, alot of things start to make sense. Like Greg pointed out, he didn't even know Corliss Lamont was a guy!! Oswald prided himself on his political knowledge, but on several key points , he fails the test, and in the and process exposes himself as a phony leftist.
  15. Bill O'NeilBill, as a sidebar, in interviews following LHO's NO arrest, Lamont is referred to as Carlos and reports have LHO saying "he" is a "she". What to make of that? It was while trying to find a description - or better yet, a color reproduction of Crime Against Cuba that I stumbled on this law. My search was due to Mrs Garner (landlady) repeatedly describing what was being held by the Cuban who came looking for Oswald as "pamphlets". In testimony, she added they were yellow and pink. This made me wonder if what was being carried was Lamont's "basic pamphlet" and not LHO's flyers. This would have also accounted for the stack being 5 or 6 inches deep. Her description of them as pamphlets however, seems to have been just a case of poor wording. I did find a description of Crime against Cuba as having "green and white wraps", whilst a description of one of the flyers gave color as "yellow". There are still are number of oddities about this event, though, including the timing - which I believe was earlier than the official records indicate - and also earlier than some authors believe, and whether or not the individual was in fact, Carlos Quiroga. Quiroga was 16 - Mrs Garner gave his age as over 30. There are other odd coincidences between LHO and a leftist author, but those are still being explored. The subscribing to Krocadil and other Soviet publications just when a new law came in ensuring such subscription would get him on one or more government lists is just a continuation of a pattern which started 10 years earlier in NYC. Oswald, in fact, had so many red flags flapping off him, I'm surprised he could go to to a bull fight in Mexico without getting gored. Greg, Obviously Os didn't really know who Lamont was, and i don't think he ever read the bloody pamphlet. That he described it as containing the necessary facts, that he or others needed to know re FPCC, gives him away. I've wondered about that. I know the pamphlet was about the BoP, but not having read it, thought, well, maybe it's a got a chapter relevant to FPCC policy'... there was at least one other in the Basic Pamphlet series having more relevance to their foundation concerns - it was on the freedom to travel. I'm surprised he even knew who Elizabeth Gurley Flynn was, or Gus Hall and Benjamin Davis. Then again,...... maybe he didn't! You're suggesting forgeries? I meant to suggest that he was instructed to correspond with these infamous 'commies', and or, at least mention them in a "fraternal" context, to show (at least on paper) solidarity.

  17. Greg I agree completely on the effort to reestablish an association btw CP, SWP and FPCC. I also find it interesting that it was LHO"s future fave Corliss Lamont, who brought about the challenge to the Postal Sevice and Fereral Employees Salary Act of 1962, for withholding a copy of Peking News# 2 in 1963. He also challenged the PO right to maintain a list of subscribers wishing to recieve "Communist Political Propaganda"! He eventually won the case in 1965. Once again Os is ahead of the curve.
  18. Thanks all, I knew I wasn't imagining that. Greg, was Os getting Krocadil at this time in fall of 62'
  19. Yea, You would think so, huh Ron. You can't keep track of him without knowning where he is. Well help me find him and I'll ask him how dangerous he really is. He's in his 80's now, and probably living near a golf course. His last known residence was in Atlanta. All the great researchers on this forum and we can't find one guy. Nor am I convinced the man in the hat is Braden or it's even the same man in Duncan's other photos. BK Bill , he's probably in Arizona where most spooks go to retire/die
  20. John : Ahhh , now I remember ! It was from a talk Larry Hancock ( HELP Larry!) made at Lancer in 97', regarding the paper trail Os created through the postal system. He said his landlord at Mercedes St. was approached by someone he thought was from the PO, in the fall of 62', about Oswald and the subversive material he was recieving in the mail. When Os found out about this he filed a complaint form, protesting this interference. Perhaps Larry can elaborate, if he sees this !
  21. William, can you elaborate on this please? John , I'm racking my brain trying to remember where I read that, I'll look around for it. One of Oswalds neighbors reported that a man from the PO came out to his home and inquired about his next door neighbor Oswald , and if he seemed allright to him or something to that effect. They were checking up on Lee with his neighbors, due to the type of mail that had been delivered there in his name. Perhaps I should have waited to post this untill I had the reference in hand.
  22. Greg, When Os came back from USSR to Ft. Worth, and started recieving different publications that surely would have been deemed foriegn propaganda, the PO became so suspicious that they sent an inspector out to ( Mercedes St) inquire about him with the neighbors. Therefore, they were surely concerned about it, yet seemingly did nothing as far as a follow-up. Perhaps he was put on a list for future mail cover at that time.
  23. Cliff you are correct. Look at the body and autopsy face sheet, and then read where people who saw the wound, place it. To get the wound entry hole up to where the LNers need it, would create a bulge as big as the Hunchback of Notre Dame. If the suit is fitted correctly, it should be almost impossible to move the back of the jacket that far up, as the tension around the armpit area will restrict it from moving that far vertically. Try it yourself or ask a tailor or habadasher (sic?)
  24. The film is irrelevant re matters occuring on Elm Street in DP on Nov 22nd 1963... (we and THEY know that) Perhaps as ole Gerald Posner makes his rounds of talk shows on FOX, MSNBC, CNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC fielding all those powder-puffs questions he's sure to be asked, he'll be kind enough to quote Gary Mack eluding to your above. I sure Posner no doubt will comment on how GREAT Jackie looks 60 seconds before her husband is shot to death with wounds in the back and head. Immediately after he states how Jeffries film supports the contention of the WCR... Exactly!...Forget the jacket !... look at the wound on the body and where people who saw it, described it's location. Even S A Sibert says it was where the autopsy photo shows it, and apparently he was the first to spot it when the body was turned over, and it's why he doesn't accept the SBT (See William Laws intv. of James Sibert ) So who among us will write a letter to the NY Times that they may or may not publish under the pretense fair and balanced op-eding? The same question applies to MSNBC, CNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC etc--the whole propaganda parade. Should the chores be divided up? Should we each do it? Screw em' Myra , they were never about fair and balanced to begin with, and they're not about to start now! They have staked out inflexable positions on this subject and will go down with that ship.
