  1. You're thinking of McAdams, David, who went to a conference pretending to be "Paul Nolan." Everyone I know who calls Gary Mack "Larry Dunkel" does so with the full knowledge this was his original name, and does so out of spite, kinda like those calling Muhammad Ali "Cassius Clay", or, even better, those calling Jack Ruby "Rubenstein." Pat, you are so right: David Atlee Phillips - Maurice Bishop Howard Hunt - Eduardo Clay Shaw - Clay Bertrand LHO - Leon, Alek Hiddell... David Ferry - David Farris Rubenstien - Ruby Fiorini - Sturgis Roselli - Colonel Rawlston McAdams - Nolan Mack - Dunkel What is everybody trying to hide?
  2. John, that was beautiful! Jack White, God rest his soul, must be rolling in his grave with Mack's hypocrisy. Inside the Target Car is so flawed, but beneficial in that Mack claims a wind speed of 20 mph facing the limo, but the "puff of smoke" in the Wiegman photo doesn't appear to be blowing away as it reaches the street....hmmm And to think Mack sat in front of Gordon Arnold when he spoke on the assassination.
  3. Thanks Bernice! Dr. Wecht: "On Oct. 17th, 18th and 19th, (2013) we'll have a 50th anniversary program at the (Cyril H. Wecht) Institute of Forensic Science and Law at Duquesne University. I think it will be the biggest (assassination-related) program in the country. We'll have all the major critics, researchers and so on. We had a huge program in 2003 for the 40th anniversary, and we expect to have another excellent program again this time." 4. It is a disgrace, but the legal victories are spitting in the face of the fools trying to muzzle him! I have personally seen people come up to him and harass him. I went right up to him and shook his hand and thanked him for his hard work. Put the neo-facist at bay for a moment. God Bless Robert Groden!
  5. LOL! Cable is dying. You can watch anything from your phone now. These bozos on cable: Military Channel, Discovery, H / H2, National Geo ~ really think they can wipe out the conspiracy or push it away from the CIA. My God such idiocy. Then someone plays "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" and they're in P.T. Barnum soup again ~ there is no such thing as bad publicity here..! Every time these fools (Decaprio, Hanks, O'Reilly, etc.) try to deflect the truth; they just bring it back into the public mind. Then Mr. DiEugenio, they google an article of yours or Lisa's on the net and the house of the "single bullet fraud" gets destroyed....again!
  6. Dr. Fetzer, don't bite for their nonsense. You're a standard to go by in the JFK assassination research world..like Harold Weisberg, Jack White, Mark lane, Cyril Wecht, Robert Groden, etc. no need to answer the nonsensical. Your bona fides are more than solid, and after this year, you will be a standard bearer for the next generation of researchers.
  7. Mr. Hogan, Bill O'Reilly? Just because the Koch Brothers buy 500,000 copies of your book, it doesn't make it worth reading... Mr DeFiore, you can email Liz Smith and tell her. LOL! Touche. All the best.
  8. My guess: Richard Helms or James Angleton. Picked him up at Foggy Bottom, drove around discussing the current matter at hand, then dropped him off and headed home. Or perhaps, LBJ saw Sen Richard Russell to discuss the Baker Affair revelations for that day. To snuff everything out by Monday.
  9. Mr. Hogan, Bill O'Reilly? Just because the Koch Brothers buy 500,000 copies of your book, it doesn't make it worth reading...
  10. Mr. Kelly, Liz Smith? How about a little Operation Mockingbird to go.
  11. Thank you for the help, but it's the one place I found. Your help is appreciated.
  12. Can anyone point me in the right direction on any books, papers, et al regarding Barkers covert work, etc.? He was with Hunt & Sturgis with the Bay of Pigs, Seymour Weitzman id'd him in the parking lot behind the grassy knoll with SS id after the head shot (The three tramps closely near by ~ Hunt & Sturgis?) and he ended up in the Watergate......with Hunt and Sturgis.... No offense to Eugenio Martinez. He was there all the way too.
  13. At this point, JFK 50, The movies and docudramas concerning the assassination that attempt to change the world's opinion and to accept LHO and the SBT are merely assisting to reinforce the conspiracy theory. The Conspiracy is so deeply rooted in the World and American Psyche through the words "Lone Nut", Grassy Knoll" and "Magic Bullet" that at this point Barnum was right... "There is no such thing as bad publicity." - PT Barnum GOD BLESS & CONTINUE YOUR RESEARCH
  14. Throat wound. After deciphering most of what Harold Weisberg wrote, I believe that a comment by Dr. Carrico puts this all to bed. When commenting on exit and entrance wounds as it dealt with the throat wound, Dr. Carrico said, There was a round bruise circle around the throat wound..."as it always is." In forensic analysis, an exit wound may or may not have a bruise circle around it, but only an entrance wound always has the bruise circle around..."as it always is."
  15. It is as pathetic as Operation Mockingbird, the Rockefeller Commission or even Gerald Ford and Arlen Spector being paid back handsomely for their work. THE JFK KENNEDY ASSASSINATION IS ABOUT TO BE BLAMED COMPLETELY ON THE MAFIA AND THE CIA IS ABOUT TO BE OBSOLVED. We can see when Bill O'Reilly, Tom Hanks, DiCaprio, Charlie Rose and the Mockingbird faithful descending on this topic that a "Fox" methodology to sway public opinion away from the CIA is a foot. THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT THE MAFIA WAS INVOLVED. But the truth of the CIA deep involvement in the JFK and the RFK Assassination needs to be cemented into the minds of our country. Didn't Ted Charach do enough! To the researchers on this board and throughout the country and the world; I beseech you all my brethern to not let the CIA get away with it. We know that the tenacles of this conspiracy stretch to the highest levels Richard Helms, Hoover, Johnson, Harvey and Cord Meyer. These days we don't assassinate with bullets anymore because there are too many cameras around. Now we do it with lies and "Faux news". I won't be answering the onslaught of attacks about to come my way on here any time soon. The disinformation people here are numerous. Let's take up that CIA adopted line from scripture: The truth will set you free.
  16. Burris is in book as LBJ US Air Force aide and the aide incharge of requesting airplanes for LBJ trips (pp.186-7 and 200). I agree Burris flight on assassination eve and his closeness to LBJ makes him important in any Caro volume. The depth of which is sorely lacking....
  17. I find little to disagree with you on the Caro book in terms of the topics you mentioned. My point is that the book fills in some very important pieces in terms of the state of mind of LBJ, his political liabilities, the Kennedy wrath, and Johnson's illegal activities all leading up to the assassination. To your very valid points, Caro does dance in the book and the ski jump is true. The book is not the end all finger pointer to LBJ as the ring leader of the assassination like Mastermind is. Again to your points, there is no mention of the Murchinson meeting the night before the assassination nor the Madeline Brown remarks. But Caro does lay very strong foundations for linking the Texas Connection to the assassination. He also, I believe inadvertently, leads us to the "JV" joint chiefs that LBJ wanted to command as VP ~ that I believe leads to the Military link to the assassination (with The CMC and contracts). I feel however that the book does miss only because of the fact that the LBJ estate and library were very angry at Caro for the previous volumes and even denied him access to the LBJ papers for this volume (the reason it took so long). Caro very well could have been keeping his bridges to the libray papers secure by not travelling down some dark roads as Barr McClellan did.
  18. As I finished the book, I had so many marked pages concerning the assassination. I can recommend to all that the book assists in filling in (with more substantive facts) the background for the JFK murder. Caro may say LBJ had nothing to do with the murder, but the well read assassination researcher will see otherwise. I believe that Evelyn Lincoln provided excellent documentation for Caro. She was so meticulously detailed in her diary that she even had the annual amount of time that LBJ had spent alone with JFK down to the minutes! The Bobby Baker section in the book is first rate as it evolves into the Don reynolds matter. Also, when reading about how LBJ was psychologically destroyed by the Kennedy administration as VP, one can see how Johnson was just one of many who took the Kennedy wrath. With the death of Sam Rayburn and the political death of LBJ as VP which is covered well in the book, one can draw insights regarding the Texas Connection to the assassination. No oil depletion allowance and no Vietnam was going to hit that bottom line hard. Finally, (I do no justice to the book), the behavior of LBJ immediately after the 1960 election illustrates that he was attempting to become even more powerful than Dick Cheney. His desire to set up a "Junior varsity" type Joint Chiefs of Staff under his leadership as VP and to also try to run the Senate by controlling Mike Mansfield is amazing to behold, and it illustrates LBJs grab for power. LBJs behavior in the Excomm during the missile crisis showed me that he was carrying the water for the chiefs throughout the matter.
  19. Mr. Kelly, I once wrote to Doris Kearns about the LBJ - Connolly rift (no answer), but I'm interested in anything you have on it. Tony DeFiore
  20. If you trust Madeline Brown's comments, LBJ is guilty. However, she had a son with LBJ who never got a dime of LBJ inheritance ~ so her words could be revenge. However, she may have given testimony before LBJ's death.
  21. Bill, Rubbed elbows with Atty Sprague ~ but never got to pick his brain about Arlen! LOL! Dr. Wecht got me all started a long time ago at a Pitt lecture, Talk soon, Tony
  22. I wish that I would have read this before I bought the damn book yesterday! Sorry for Caro. The LBJ Family shut him out of the library and LBJs papers for years because of his previous volumes and how they portrayed LBJ. That's why this volume really took so long to publish. To indict Johnson, LBJ had to ask CBS and Cromkite to delete his interview comment where he stated that he believed that there was a conspiracy...LBJ The Mastermind of the JFK Assassination by Phillip F. Nelson for so many LBJ links to the assassination that you know why he needed to see a shrink (Barr McClellan; Blood, Money & Power) and why he was petrified with the sheets of a bed pulled up to his face when Doris Kearns Goodwin interviewed him for LBJ and The American Dream. Meetings at Clint Murchinson's house the night before the assassination, Cooks and Valets seeing him there with Hoover (The Men Who Killed Kennedy). Madeline Brown for what it's worth. And, why was LBJ ducking into Lady Bird's lap all during the motorcade? ~ Sen Ralph Yarborough. Sure wish we could see those shrinks records...And why did LBJ call Dr. Crenshaw at Parkland Hospital when they were trying to save Oswald and telling Crenshaw that a death bed confession was needed! Just sayin
  23. Thanks for the help! I can't help you with the interview notes, but I quote from some of the published articles in my critique of Arnold's story: http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/arnold1.htm Also, the Sixth Floor Museum has a transcript of an oral history he recorded with them. I wish I'd known about it sooner, as it confirms my observation that Arnold changed his story about the number of police officers who supposedly accosted him -- or, more to the point, refutes the claim made by one of Arnold's staunchest believers (in an e-mail to me) that it was merely sloppy editing in Nigel Turner's THE MEN WHO KILLED KENNEDY, rather than Arnold himself, that was responsible for the change.
