  1. Greg, Grier Raggio also spoke regularly at the Temple Emanu-EL. One of the committee organizers there was Abraham Zapruder. James
  2. Francesca, Anita Diaz Silviera was her real name. During the early 1960's, she was DRE military leader Juan Manuel Salvat's girlfriend. James
  3. John, Yep, we have a Sorrento just up the road from me here in Queensland. Not so romantic but one can readily purchase suntan lotion and skimpy swimwear. Until I saw the video I had always assumed that she was singing about the Sorrento in Italy. She may well have been, John. James
  4. Greg, I agree with your assessment. If I can be so bold as to add one more name - Henry Hecksher. James
  5. John, Yep, we have a Sorrento just up the road from me here in Queensland. Not so romantic but one can readily purchase suntan lotion and skimpy swimwear. When a kid, Tina Arena was part of this ensemble talent group that had their own TV show. She has certainly grown up since then. James
  6. James, can you expand on this man? I've not heard of either name before. Thanks Francesca, There was a thread on Capehart some time back. http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.ph...amp;hl=Capehart I have several documents on George Damon who is indeed an interesting character. If you have access to Mary's archive, (unfortunately I don't) a detailed search might bear fruit. Cheers, James
  7. Nice work, Francesca. I have always wondered if Waters was in fact George Damon who was to later morph into Claude Barnes Capehart? Tosh, Abbes Garcia was killed in 1967, blown to bits in Haiti by some old enemies - you know who I'm talking about here. I don't think he was in Dallas but he may have faciliated some seeding finance for the JFK hit out of DR. IMO of course. james
  8. Murphy was placed with Dominicana by the Agency and was working as a cut out for the CIA on an Intel operation for the Pentagon and the CIA... The details of this stuff is still Classified. Did you know that? How did you get hold of this info... if I might ask. (not to offend) (William Plumlee) No offense at all, Tosh. You're right, the spooks did place Murphy with Dominicana. He unfortunately became mixed up with the likes of Espaillat, Bernardino and the dreaded Johnny Abbes Garcia. I came by all this DR internal stuff as a contact of mine was right in the mix at the time. As you can appreciate, he wants to remain anonymous. James
  9. Tosh, Espaillat had at one time been with Rafael Trujillo's intel group and was mixed up, along with Felix Bernardino in the death of Jesus Galindez and Gerald Lester Murphy - Murphy having previously flown with the Compania Dominicana Aviacion. Espaillat and Robert Johnson went to Canada and I submit they were responsible for dispatching a French mercenary (explosives expert) to Dallas as part of a back-up plan. Chomon I take it was Faure Chomon? As for a picture of Andreas, is that Sergio? If so, yes. I too apologize for diverting this thread. James
  10. James. In that document or do you know or remember, if his mother was of Cuban background? I was told today (awhile ago) there is a DPD file on him. Also, does the term "The Blade" mean anything to you. I have often thought this was in reference to Frank Struges (Forini?? my health is good... but other matters are going off the shelf.... I mean that in the nicest way directed toward me) Hi Tosh, I can't recall anything about Waters having Cuban herritage but I am sure you are correct regarding the DPD having a file on him. I was told Waters during that late 1961 period was working with Eduardo Whitehouse, Dallas BOP vet who would later go to the Congo with Rip Robertson. As for 'The Blade', could that be referring to Arturo Espaillat? As you would know, Fiorini was in that 1961/62 mix with Espaillat, Robert Emmett Johnson, Larry De Joseph, Dick Whatley, etc. James
  11. Nathaniel, Regarding Lantern Spike and related documents, may I suggest contacting Mark Perrusquia, a reporter from the Memphis Appeal. James
  12. Thanks again, Tosh, for your recollections of Waters. And thank you, James. I gather that the rather specific nature of this information on Waters suggests that you are getting it from documents. Do you have the document numbers I can cite? Thanks! Chris Chris, The information did come from a document from which I jotted the information down in my notes. It was some time back and I can't find the original document. My filing system is a disaster. I'm sure a forum member who has access to the various on-line document sites will be able to help here. In addition, I also seem to remember that Waters had direct contact with William Dalzell but the details escape me. James
  13. Don't apologize. You are being more than helpful with your recollections. Do you remember if Waters was a Cuban? I have come to suspect that "Charlie Waters" was an alias, and I have not been able to pin down his nationality. Anything else w.r.t. his physical description you could remember also would be great (i.e. was he a huge soldier of fortune type like Hemming, etc.). Thanks again for all your input with this! (Chris Courtwright) Charles A. Waters Jr. In 1963, he was approximately 27 years old, 5' 8", 150 pounds, blue eyes, blonde hair, light complexion. When in New Orleans he lived at the Lynn Rose Hotel. Later moved to the offices of the Friends of Democratic Cuba in the Balter Building. Waters would later appear on several committees including the Dallas Citizens for Old Time 4th of July Celebrations. FWIW. James
  14. Walter Newby was an alias Joannides used. He was the direct case officer for Luis Fernandez Rocha. James
  15. Bill, I think its primary level was the running of drugs and guns. The upper level was the subsequent banking and profit distribution. Then again ... James
  16. James, 'Wiley' isn't short for 'Willard' is it? Because there is a 'Willard Robertson' who was a founding member of INCA. He is mentioned in an article here: http://www.assassinationweb.com/roseb1.htm Francesca, Interesting thought but I don't believe it's the same man. Cheers, James
  17. Thanks a lot, Bill. When were you last in touch with him? A researcher talked to his wife a year or so ago (maybe longer) and she said Paul had died of a fall from a roof. Where ever his files are, they probably contain much that should be considered vital JFK assassination material. Ron W Rothermel died in 2002. I agree that his files would reveal some stunning information. I submit Rothermel had extensive material on several curious folk including Loy Factor, Richard Nagell and several paramilitary types with connections back to the CIA. James
  18. Thanks James, I wasn't aware of this. Although going on what his brother was like, I'm not sure I want to track him down Seriously though, does he live in Texas do you know? Francesca, I have no idea regarding James E Wallace. I was going to look into him some time back but got side-tracked. And for Glen: Wiley Robertson was a witness that Bryan Russ dug up. I was unable though to find out what Robertson was able to contribute to the bigger picture. There is virtally no information regarding him. James
  19. Glen, Regarding the Marshall murder, do you know anything about a man named Wiley Robertson who lived very close to where Marshall's body was found? James
  20. Just to cut in here. I believe his brother, James E. Wallace, is still alive. He might be worth tracking down. FWIW. James
  21. I have searched this forum for information on SS Agent JJ Howlett, however, nothing has appeared.... (Wade Rhodes) Wade, Posted as a curiosity. That is Howlett second from the left. He was part of a Secret Service contingent that accompanied members of the Warren Commission when they visited Dallas during their investigation. BTW, I'm not sure what they are pointing at. According to their own report, the action happened behind them. FWIW. James
  22. Thanks for that Nate, Lisa, Does anyone have any suggestions as to the identity of the Harvard professor of Soviet Russia who suggested that PJM do the Lee & Marina book? BK Bill, No definitive proof but I think it was ex State Department Information Officer Marshall D. Shulman. He died only a few months ago. James
  23. Francesca, The "Colonel" is still alive (albeit very old now) so I am somewhat reluctant to name him on a public forum. Cheers, James
  24. Robert, Yes, Lloyd Cobb was an owner of the farm. There was also some commando type training done there under the direction of an ex Marine Colonel. Who was funding this training I don't know but one wouldn't be drawing a long bow to say that assets of the CIA were involved. Cobb below. James
  25. He was my CO at Texas National Guard, Dallas Love Field and got me into Army Intel. You amaze me on where you get your pictures... I do respect your sources. ( Capt.John K. Gilbert Cook ) Also do you have anything on Lt. Charles (?) Brannon Tosh, Are you sure the actual name is Charles Brannon? James
