A supporter who was there has sent a report of LPAC organizers "supporting the Truth" about Obama, one or two threatening to attack them, and others in the crowd immediately coming to their defense. The Romulus, Michigan, intervention is everywhere on the Internet, and the Vicki Tsongas meeting near Boston is now fully visible on larouchenet and being picked up elsewhere. And in many locals our field squads are "exploding" their impact and income, as Harley reported of Texas over the weekend. A town meeting held by Rep. Mike Burgess (R-Tx) near Dallas, showed again that GOP Congressmen are also getting blasted by the revolutionary heat. Meanwhile, a growing number of "leading" Congressional cowards has decided to have "no direct contact with [his or her] constituents during this recess" (Diane DeGette of Colorado, in that case). Lyndon LaRouche said Sunday, "I repeat what I said on Saturday about this; and I'll add now: The President, like the King of France, and the legislative branch of the government, have gone into hiding, and we're waiting for the rioters to reach the Bastille. Today, the President's office announced that he had cancelled a schedule of public appearances around the country, en route to his vacation on Martha's Vineyard. Now, instead of touring the country, promoting his health-care swindle, as previously scheduled, the President is ducking for cover, taking his family to the Grand Canyon, and then to the safety of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Mr. Obama, in short, is hiding out. The same is true of the vast majority of members of the House of Representatives and Senate. They have all gone into hiding, in the face of a mass revolt of the American people, against what they see as a total betrayal by their Federal elected officials, starting with the President. In the minds of the vast majority of Americans: * The President has fully embraced and extended the Bush Administration's policy of bailing out Wall Street and the banks--to the tune of more than $23 trillion, while average Americans continue to lose their jobs, their homes and their health care at worse than Depression-era rates. A death-spiral is already hitting some of the most vulnerable in the population, and this will only get worse in the immediate days ahead. * The President has been caught, repeatedly, in his own words, advocating a policy of euthanasia and other radical cuts in health-care services, all in the name of so-called ``reform,'' and ``saving the system.'' More and more Americans are coming to realize that the President's policies are worse than those of Adolf Hitler. As Lyndon LaRouche noted today, Hitler was smart enough to wait until the war had begun to implement his genocidal euthanasia schemes. The news of the week has been the mass turnout at town hall meetings all over the country, called by once-popular Congressmen, who, now, increasingly, won't dare show their faces in public. Constituents have turned out in record numbers, to shout down their elected representatives, and demand a total change in policy--starting with health care. In Romulus, Mich., where the official unemployment rate is 17%, but, in reality, is closer to double that figure, 1,000 citizens turned out to confront the formerly popular Rep. John Dingell (D), who has served in the House since 1955. When LaRouche PAC organizers held up a large poster, depicting President Obama with a Hitler moustache, and the words ``I've Changed,'' the crowd went wild with approval, taking pictures and videos, and backing down police, who attempted to escort the organizers outside the room where the event was being held, which was only large enough to seat 150-200 people. When a man in a wheelchair disrupted Dingell's talk, accusing him of backing a policy that would kill his son, who suffered from cerebral palsy, the police pulled him out of the room. That incident was videotaped, and has been posted on the Internet, where millions have seen it. Major news outlets, like CNN, NBC, and the {Wall Street Journal}, have featured the Obama-with-Hitler-moustache posted in their headline news coverage of the revolt. In a suburb of Tampa, Fla. Aug. 6, some 1,500 people showed up for a town hall meeting with Rep. Kathy Castor (D). The event, promoting Obama's health-care ``reform,'' was organized by the White House-run Organizing for America and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The majority of people in attendance showed up to express their anger at the murderous policies of the President and Congress, and, at one point, captured on video, SEIU goons attacked some of the participants, causing a near-riot. In St. Louis, Mo. the same day, 1,000 citizens were locked out of a widely advertised town hall meeting with Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-Mo.), while SEIU members were ushered into the room through a separate door. At that event, SEIU and Obama toughs also attacked protesters, leading to six arrests. Everywhere around the country, the exact same thing is happening. Even Congressional Republicans, who oppose the Obama euthanasia scheme, are finding that they, too, are not exempt from the public wrath. Rep. Tom Petri (Wisc.) was confronted on Aug. 7 by an angry crowd at a public appearance, and Rep. Bob Inglis (S.C.) had to fend off a crowd of 350 furious constituents this week. The angry voters were not at all satisfied at with a pledge to vote against Obama's health-care fiasco. They want far, far more out of their elected representatives. The mass, spontaneous eruptions are not confined to pre-scheduled public events either. While on the campaign trail for a local candidate in the Denver area, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) made an appearance at a community center, was recognized, and was soon confronted by a crowd of angry citizens. Word got out to nearby shops and buildings, and Pelosi had to flee. The Sargeant-at-Arms of the United States Senate issued a warning to all Senators late last week, that they should take precautions when they return to their home states, because they could expect to face ``a true political uprising.'' - Making Matters Worse - The response from the Obama White House to this popular revolt has only served to make matters worse. For weeks, the President has been urged by responsible Democratic legislators to drop his health-care ``reforms,'' and accept the fact that the American people have resoundingly rejected his claims that he can ``improve'' health care for all, through trillions of dollars in cuts in services. The President has, so far, rejected all pleas for sanity. Instead, he and his top White House aides, have accused the tens of thousands of protesters who have already taken to the streets, of being ``right-wing professional agitators,'' ``Brooks Brothers-suited rioters,'' and ``Brown Shirts.'' While the President's men are putting out these patent lies, accusing ``Big Pharma'' of putting up the cash to send professional agitators from town to town, the reality is that the pharmaceutical industry is in love with Obama's scheme, because it allows them to keep up their price gouging. Indeed, the industry lobby, PhRMA is pledged to spend between $150-200 million in an advertising campaign this Autumn, {supporting} the President's so-called health care reforms. And another front group for the industry, Healthy Economy Now, is spending an additional $12 million in advertising--to boost the Obama scheme. In one extreme case of flight-from-reality, White House officials have gone so far as to blame the mass protests on Israeli agitators (!), who, they say, were smuggled into the United States on behalf of the Netanyahu government. The ostensible reason? To deliver the President a major defeat on his signature legislative issue, and thereby weaken his opposition to continued expanded Israeli settlements, and Israel's rejection of the two-state solution. The President, safely sealed off from an ever-growing majority of furious citizens, is clearly sticking to his mad denial of reality. In his Saturday, Aug. 8 weekly radio address, the President lied shamelessly, stating, ``As we draw close to finalizing and passing real health insurance reform, the defenders of the status quo and political point-scorers in Washington are growing fiercer in their opposition. In recent days and weeks, some have been using misleading information to defeat what they know is the best chance of reform we have ever had. That is why it is important, especially now, as Senators and Representatives head home and meet with their constituents, for you, the American people, to have all the facts.'' The President ranted on, ``So let me explain what reform will mean for you. And let me start by dispelling the outlandish rumors that reform will promote euthanasia, cut Medicaid, or bring about a government takeover of health care. That's simply not true.'' This is the same Barack Obama who, just a week earlier, had announced five times, in the course of one press conference, that the central feature of his health-care ``reform'' program was the creation of an independent board to police medical services and cut costs--precisely the Hitler T-4 board, that oversaw the removal of medical care, the euthanizing of hundreds of thousands of elderly, chronically ill, and mentally impaired Germans from 1939-41--a prelude and first phase of the Holocaust. This insane sophistry on the part of the President and his men has forced some Democrats to repudiate the White House lies, to save their political skins. Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.), an early enthusiastic campaign backer of Obama, posted a statement, declaring, ``I disagree that the people showing concern over some health-care proposals are `manufactured....' Real folks, strong opinions.'' Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.), who was confronted by 500 enraged constituents at a recent town hall meeting in Baltimore, defended his detractors, telling reporters that the ``majority of Americans'' want to know how the bills before Congress and peddled by Obama, are going to affect them, and these are ``legitimate questions'' asked by real constituents. While the revolt now underway across the nation is the cumulative reaction to the failure of elected officials to honestly deal with the worst economic and financial collapse since the 14th-Century New Dark Age in Europe, it can be fairly said that Lyndon LaRouche's series of widely viewed webcasts, beginning with his April 11, 2009 address, exposing President Obama as suffering from a severe ``Nero Complex,'' have informed the public and helped fuel the process. Indeed, while the White House tries to scramble to pin the reactions on a bunch of ``right-wing extremists'' and ``racists,'' growing numbers of Republicans have, indeed, been picking up on LaRouche's expose of the Obama health-care ``reform'' scheme as a replay of the Nazi T-4 euthanasia program. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), who delivered a frontal attack--by name--on Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, and a key White House health-care ``reform'' advisor, for his repudiation of the Hypocratic Oath, and his advocacy of euthanasia. - The Dynamics of the Mass Strike - Against this backdrop, LaRouche delivered a history lesson on the dynamics of the mass strike process, in a symposium with colleagues today. ``This is a mass strike, comparable in many features, to the French mass developments of June-July 1789, something which we have not seen, which is even comparable in either Europe and North America, since the 1930s. In the case of the French Revolution, leading republicans, like the Marquis de Lafayette, failed to act at critical moments, and lost control over the entire process, leading to the British intelligence-led destruction of France, and a new decade of wars on the European continent. Today, LaRouche emphasized, there is nothing that will turn off the public rage, and its demand for a genuine change in leadership and policy direction. What will give positive direction to the mass revolt that is already underway and unstoppable, is a clear plan for a revolutionary change in policy. After a rant against LaRouche as a so-called ``conspiracy theorist'' who places ``international bankers,'' ``world government,'' and ``the Queen of England'' at the center of his conspiracies, author Jurek Martin conceded that the American media can no longer curb the influence of the likes of LaRouche, because the Internet now makes it impossible for the Establishment media ``gatekeepers'' to control the spread of LaRouche's ideas. Mass Strike Process Overruns More Congressional Town Hall Meetings Aug. 8 (LPAC)--The mass strike process that Lyndon LaRouche described today, has been running over members of Congress from both parties with increasing intensity in the last days. * In Kansas City, hundreds of people showed up for a regular monthly meeting, this morning, with Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver. He refused to talk to the crowd, instead meeting privately with 75 people, and then left after an hour for "another appointment." Those left outside the meeting stayed, holding signs, chanting and arguing with each other. * On Aug. 7, Rep. Brian Baird of Washington received a faxed death threat a day after he described angry town hall protesters as "a lynch mob." He has canceled the rest of the town hall meetings he had planned for August. * In Saratoga Springs, N.Y., 20 protesters greeted Rep. Scott Murphy to let him know they oppose Obama's health reform plan. * Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) says he is concerned that media coverage of outbursts at town hall meetings will only intensify public skepticism about the health care plan, but he is still, according to the {Baltimore Sun}, planning such a meeting for Aug. 24, because "I want to hear different views." * In St. Louis, the University City school district canceled a health care forum that Sen. Claire McCaskill was scheduled to hold there on Aug. 11 because of the "escalation of violence" at such meetings across the country. McCaskill's office said they will extend the time of another forum, also on Aug. 11, at Jefferson College, to two full hours. * Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) found himself surrounded by more than 100 people during a meeting at a coffee shop last night, When they weren't arguing with him, they were arguing with each other, and many carried signs for or against health reform. * In Georgia, Rep. David Scott stuck his foot in his mouth, when he denounced a doctor who got up to ask him some questions about health reform. Scott took him for a GOP political operative intending to disrupt the meeting, which was otherwise held to discuss a road project. Scott launched into a tirade attacking those he said were there to "hijack" the meeting. The tirade was filmed by a local TV station which confirmed afterwards that the doctor was from Scott's district. The doctor told the TV reporters that he had called Scott's office repeatedly to try to talk to him about health care reform. "I went to the meeting to literally ask a question that I thought was very, very important for my patients," he said. * Republicans are also facing angry crowds. About 150 people in Manitowoc, Wisconsin were not satisfied with Rep. Tom Petri's stated opposition to the Obama health reform plan. One combat veteran said of the plan "this craziness is not what we fought for." In North Carolina, Rep. Bob Inglis faced an angry crowd of 350 people, many complaining about socialism or that the government has gone far outside the strictures of the Constitution. Aside from a town hall meeting in Portsmouth, N.H. on health reform, which is reportedly still on the schedule, Obama will be in Guadalajara, Mexico for a trilateral meeting with Mexican President Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Harper on Aug. 10, will be traveling on a grand tour of national parks in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona on Aug. 14th-17th, and then will spend the last week of the month camped out on vacation on Martha's Vineyard. Vice President Biden is similarly hiding on an island off the coast of South Carolina.

There is a tremendous amount of anger building in the population towards Obama and his adminstration. It seems to be centered around his healthcare rationing policies. It is quite strange that Obama came in to office facing the worst economic/ financial crisis in over 70 years, along with record levels of unemployment. You have industries like the auto sector collapsing and entire states around the country are bankrupt. Obama instead of dealing with the economic and financial crisis as he promised he would do chooses instead to invest his Presidency in "cutting healthcare" to the poor and elderly. You have to question what is really going on here. Here's a report that was posted on LaRouchepac website. It appears they had quite a brawl in Michigan. MUST READ - CAMPAIGN NEWS Dingell Town Hall in Romulus, Michigan: Real Politics Have Reawakened! Aug. 7 (LPAC)--Lyndon LaRouche's political forecast of the coming lynch mobs against Obama's economic policies, was demonstrated anew last night in Romulus, Michigan. Democratic Congressman John Dingell attempted to have a small town meeting (using a room fit for 150-200 people), but close to 1,000 turned out. They had to break the meeting up into two parts, letting each group in for an hour. Three LaRouche PAC organizers were there at the start (reinforcements were later on the way), barely able to pass out literature as fast as it was being requested. Many of the people agreed with the LaRouche PAC's proposals, and were familiar with LaRouche, or knew of him. One LPAC organizer was holding a huge "Obamustache" poster with the caption "I've changed," drawing the attention of all, with a clear majority very supportive. On several occasions, the crowd defended LaRouche PAC's presence. The police tried to tell the organizers to go outside, but as soon as people realized what was happening, they shouted at the policeman that the LaRouche PAC had a right to be there. The policeman nervously inquired if the organizers would be calm, which the organizers affirmed, adding, however, that if they were forced to leave, things would quickly stop being calm (referring to the audience). Just as the organizers were about to enter the meeting room, a security person came up and said they had cut into the line (which was true), and that they needed to go to the back of the line (thereby guaranteeing that they would not make it inside). He was quickly denounced by the people nearby in the line, who said that the organizers were with them, and that they should be let in. When everyone was settling down, one LaRouche PAC organizer held up the large (approximately 4'x4') poster of Obama with a Hitler moustache, and the whole room burst into cheers and applause, with many participants taking pictures. The tone of the event was set when a Baby Boomer man approached the front of the room, pushing his son, who was in a wheelchair. He demanded to speak, saying that Obama's health-care bill would be a death sentence for his son, who has cerebral palsy. Dingell said there was an amendment in the bill that would help cover the chronically ill, but neither the man or the audience believed him. The man and his son were escorted out by security. Nearly every time Dingell tried to speak, the crowd was in an uproar. Many pointed questions were being yelled out by the audience, such as "How are you going to make things cheaper without cutting care? Will people be denied care near the end of their lives?" In many cases, the constituents had done their homework, bringing highlighted copies of the bill with them, and referring to specific sections in their remarks. People knew that end-of-life care = euthanasia, and it came across both in the questions voiced at the mic (by the moderator), and in what people were shouting out. Some people seemed to almost come to blows both inside and outside the event, though most activity/discussion was grounded in reason. When the LaRouche PAC reinforcements arrived, they set up a book table, and before one could blink, it was surrounded by people. Individual organizers were briefing 3-4 people at a time, with many signing up, as the LaRouche PAC was the only one presenting a solution. Fights were erupting all around, as people argued over whether or not to support the bill. The organizers got out at least 20 bundles of literature, with several people asking for extras for their friends and family. By the end of the event, some people were carrying around nearly a bundle to take home with them. A few details from the table: One lady with the Tea Partiers gave us the contact info for the local head of their group, and took extra literature to get out at their next meeting. Another organizer for the Campaign for Liberty said that we were already in touch with her, and that we have addressed their meetings before. She was excited to see the LaRouche PAC there, and took extra literature to distribute. Though a few officers in uniform took literature, one organizer spotted a policeman who left in uniform, came back in plain clothes, and snatched some literature off the booktable before quickly walking away. Much of what you have been told about the events of 9/11 have been a hoax. The truth, which is clearly revealed in newly declassified documents, available through the National Archives, is that two leading, presumed U.S. allies--Saudi Arabia and Great Britain--were up to their eyeballs in the attacks on New York City and Washington. The United States was betrayed by leading elements within the Saudi Arabian Royal Family and intelligence services, in league with the British Empire. And, top officials of the Bush-Cheney White House, the Justice Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were both aware of, and fully complicit in the coverup of the crime of the century. The Anglo-Saudi alliance behind the 9/11 atrocity is represented, most graphically, by a 25-year-old secret intelligence arrangement, concealed beneath a lucrative arms-for-oil barter deal called "al-Yamamah.'' There is now sufficient, credible evidence that funds from the offshore al-Yamamah accounts were funneled to at least two of the 9/11 hijackers, to warrant a high-profile Justice Department probe, without delay. The newly released documents, when cross-gridded with other evidence already in the public domain, confirm the Anglo-Saudi hand behind 9/11, and debunk nearly eight years of conspiracy rubbish, that have portrayed the attacks as a scheme by cave-dwellers and ``under-the-floorboard'' mysterious forces. The writings of a former LaRouche associate, Webster Tarpley, more or less typify the kind of off-course conspiracy mongering that is now thoroughly discredited by the new material and the larger picture assembled by {EIR} researchers. Elements of the story have already been reported in {EIR}, and LaRouche instinctively pointed to the true nature of the operation, in a now-famous radio interview that he gave to the Salt Lake City-based syndicated radio host Dr. Jack Stockwell, as the hijacked planes were crashing into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. If the full implications of the new, confirming evidence of the Anglo-Saudi hand in the 9/11 attack are comprehended and acted on, by the appropriate U.S. and other government services, one of the root sources of global asymmetric warfare can be wiped out--with many other side benefits as well. - The New Evidence - Early this year, the National Archives released documents from the files of the 9/11 Commission, which were previously classified. Three of those documents, recently obtained by {EIR}, provide the "smoking gun,'' proving the central role of Saudi intelligence, and the critical support role of British intelligence in the preparation, execution, and coverup of 9/11. The most significant of the documents, still partly classified, is a "Memorandum for the Record,'' summarizing an April 23, 2004 interview with a Southern California-based FBI informant, who rented out a room in his home to two of the 9/11 hijackers, during 2000. Although the memorandum redacted the informant's name, other public sources have identified the man as {{Abdussattar Shaikh}}. His FBI handler has also been publicly named as Steven Butler. In the interview, Shaikh provided a detailed account of his first encounter with the two 9/11 hijackers, {{Nawaf al-Hazmi}} and {{Khalid al-Mihdhar}}. In April 2000, Shaikh posted an announcement on the bulletin board at the Islamic Center of San Diego (ICSD), offering to rent rooms in his home to "devout Muslims.'' At the time he posted the ad, Shaikh was already acting as a paid informant for the FBI. According to his account to 9/11 Commission investigators Quinn John Tamm, Jr. and Dietrich Snell, Shaikh was approached after Friday prayers by al-Hazmi, who said he and al-Mihdhar urgently needed housing. By Shaikh's account, the two men moved into his home on May 10, 2000. Al-Mihdhar left after six weeks, claiming that he was returning to Saudi Arabia to visit his wife and young child. Al-Hazmi lived in the room until Dec. 10, 2000, when he moved out to attend pilot school in Arizona. At one point in the interview, the 9/11 investigators asked Shaikh about another Saudi, {{Omar al-Bayoumi}}. From the Commission document: "Dr. Xxxxxx [shaikh] noted that Omar al-Bayoumi also visited al-Hazmi at his house. Dr. Xxxxxx knew al-Bayoumi as a Saudi national who Dr. Xxxxxx met at the ICSD. Al-Bayoumi stated to Dr. Xxxxxx when he visited, that `I referred them (al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar) to you.' Dr. Xxxxxx restated that his was not the case and that he met the two in the hallway of the ICSD after the Friday prayer service.'' The report continued: "Al-Hazmi did not like al-Bayoumi and told Dr. Xxxxxx that al-Bayoumi was `an agent for the Saudis.' Al-Hazmi complained to Dr. Xxxxxx that al-Bayoumi videotaped people associated with the ICSD constantly. Dr. Xxxxxx noted that was his experience when he attended events at the ICSD. Dr. Xxxxxx said that al-Bayoumi always had his videotape recorder and sought comment to the open mike on the videotape recorder. Dr. Xxxxxx stated that, `I have heard that al-Bayoumi is an agent (of the Saudis).' '' Shaikh's candid description of al-Bayoumi as a Saudi intelligence agent, in regular contact with one of the 9/11 hijackers, is stunning in its own right. The fact that Shaikh was an FBI informant, who, according to several U.S. intelligence sources, regularly received payments from the Bureau to keep tabs on the Muslim community in the San Diego area, and hosted two of the hijackers, is equally stunning. But the full extent of the al-Bayoumi dossier, as known to the FBI and other U.S. government agencies, goes well beyond the surface scandal. Al-Bayoumi was far more than a "`frequent visitor'' to Shaikh's home, while al-Hazmi was living there. The essential facts are as follows: On Jan. 15, 2000, al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on a flight from Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, where they had attended a meeting of number of al-Qaeda members and allies. The two men were met at the airport by al-Bayoumi, who brought them to San Diego, rented them an apartment, co-signed the lease, and even put down a $1,500 deposit and rent. Al-Bayoumi would later arrange for the two men to enroll in flight training school. Al-Bayoumi's association with three of the 9/11 hijackers (he hosted a third hijacker, {{Hani Hanjour}}, at his apartment on a number of occasions, in the Spring of 2000, according to FBI and Congressional documents) prompted one Federal government source to tell reporters, "Some Federal investigators suspect that al-Bayoumi could have been an advance man for the 9/11 hijackers.'' But, al-Bayoumi was also, undisputedly, an agent of Saudi intelligence! According to the FBI and CIA dossiers on him, and records from both the House-Senate joint intelligence probe and the 9/11 Commission, al-Bayoumi came to the United States in August 1994. He was previously employed by the Saudi Ministry of Defense, and continued to draw a salary of $3,000 a month from the Ministry after he moved to the United States, through 2002. In the U.S., he was formally listed as an employee of Dallah Avco, a Saudi defense company that held lucrative contracts with the Ministry of Defense and Aviation, and was owned by members of the Saudi Royal Family. According to U.S. Federal investigators, al-Bayoumi never actually did any work for Dallah Avco. However, his monthly salary from the firm increased to $3,500 right after al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar arrived in the U.S.A. Further adding to al-Bayoumi's considerable personal finances, in June 1998, an anonymous contribution arrived from Saudi Arabia. The $500,000 was a down-payment on a new mosque, to be built in San Diego--with the proviso that Omar al-Bayoumi be appointed as director of maintenance, with an office and a guaranteed salary. Eyewitnesses told the FBI and the 9/11 Commission that al-Bayoumi was rarely seen at the mosque. Al-Bayoumi was, however, in constant communication with top Saudi government officials in the United States and in Riyadh. According to the records of the joint Congressional investigation and the 9/11 Commission, between January 2000--when al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar arrived in California--and May 2000, al-Bayoumi made 32 calls to the Saudi Embassy in Washington, D.C., 37 calls to the Saudi Cultural Mission in Washington, and 24 calls to the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles. His contact at the Consulate was {{Fahad Thumairy}}, who held diplomatic credentials, but was one of the most virulently anti-American imams in the area. He would be deported from the United States after 9/11. In late June or early July 2001, al-Bayoumi and his wife, {{Manal Ahmed Bagader}}, suddenly left San Diego, and moved to England, where al-Bayoumi ostensibly entered business school at Aston University. Within days after the 9/11 attacks, he was detained by Scotland Yard and held for one week. However, he was released for lack of evidence, and he immediately left England for Saudi Arabia. - Osama Basnan - Omar al-Bayoumi was not alone in his liaison work between Saudi intelligence and some of the 9/11 hijackers. He worked closely with another Saudi intelligence officer, Osama Basnan, who entered the United States in 1980 on a short-term tourist visa, but remained in the country until October 2002, when he and his wife were deported as illegal aliens. An FBI report, written shortly after 9/11, warned that evidence gathered on Basnan "could indicate that he succeeded Omar al-Bayoumi and may be undertaking activities on behalf of the Government of Saudi Arabia.'' An FBI classified report, dated Oct. 3, 2001, noted that Basnan was in contact with members of the {{bin Laden}} family, who were living in the United States. In the days immediately following 9/11, members of the bin Laden family in the United States, along with other top Saudis, were quietly flown home--at a time when no other non-military flights were being allowed. Basnan was a subject of FBI interest long before Sept. 11. In 1992, according to news accounts, Basnan was investigated by the Bureau for ties to Eritrean Islamic Jihad (EIJ), an organization that was closely linked to al-Qaeda by no later than 1996. On Oct. 17, 1992, Basnan, then living in Washington, D.C., hosted a party at his home for {{Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman}}, the so-called "blind sheikh,'' now in jail for plotting terrorist attacks in New York City. At the time, according to U.S. intelligence sources, the FBI produced a still-classified report, detailing Basnan's work for the Saudi government, despite his ties to Islamic radicals. Indeed, U.S. intelligence sources report that Basnan was arrested on drug charges in the Los Angeles area, but the charges were dropped, after intensive pressure from the Saudi Embassy. - The Ambassador and the Princess - If Omar al-Bayoumi's ties to the Saudi Ministry of Defense and Aviation are firmly established, his personal ties to the former Saudi Ambassador to the United States, {{Prince Bandar bin Sultan}}, and his wife, {{Princess Haifa}}, are even less in dispute. In April 1998, Prince Bandar, who is also the son of the Saudi Defense Minister, Prince Sultan, sent a check to Basnan in the amount of $15,000. Bandar claims that the check was an "act of charity,'' in response to a written appeal by Basnan for help in paying medical bills for his wife. Beginning in November 1999, just weeks before the two 9/11 hijackers arrived at the Los Angeles Airport, Princess Haifa began sending monthly cashiers checks, from her account at Riggs National Bank in Washington, to Basnan's wife, {{Majida Ibrahim Ahmad Dweikat}}. The checks continued until May 2002. The royal couple sent a total of $53-72,000 to Basnan and his wife. According to the House-Senate joint investigation, many of the cashier checks from Princess Haifa to Basnan's wife were signed over to the wife of al-Bayoumi. Most of these transactions took place while Basnan and al-Bayoumi were "handling'' the financial affairs of at least two of the 9/11 hijackers, al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar. And the pair of Saudi intelligence officers also had some, as yet not-fully-known ties to a third hijacker, {{Hani Hanjour}}. - Prince Bandar's BAE Bounty - At the time that Prince Bandar and Princess Haifa were making their "charitable'' contributions to Basnan and al-Bayoumi, the then-Saudi Ambassador to the United States was on the receiving end of at least $2 billion in kickbacks from Great Britain's premier defense firm, BAE Systems. The BAE scandal exploded into the public view several years ago, when BBC, the London {Guardian}, and other publications revealed that BAE was making tens of billions of dollars in payouts to Saudi Defense Ministry officials, and other members of the Saudi Royal Family, in return for arms contracts worth a fortune. The BAE-Saudi scandal dated all the way back to 1985, when Prince Bandar personally brokered a deal with then-British Prime Minister {{Margaret Thatcher}}, to sell an initial $40 billion in BAE military hardware and services to Saudi Arabia, in return for Saudi crude oil. The deal, cynically known as "al-Yamamah'' ("the Dove'') was far more than a barter arrangement. BAE padded the costs of the fighter jets, training planes, air defense systems and support services by an estimated one-third, to launder payoffs to top Saudis--including Prince Bandar. In return, Saudi Arabia delivered the equivalent of one super-tanker of oil {per day} (on average) to BAE, which had a contract with British Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell, to immediately sell the oil on the spot market. For the Saudis, it was a lucrative deal. Even aside from the kickbacks that lined the pockets of many a Saudi prince and ministry official, the crude oil cost the Saudis under $5 a barrel. BP and Royal Dutch Shell sold the oil at fantastic markups. As the result of this unique arrangement, an offshore Anglo-Saudi intelligence slush fund was amassed, amounting to hundreds of billions of dollars, starting in 1985. In a semi-official biography of Prince Bandar, published several years ago, author William Simpson candidly wrote that al-Yamamah was, first and foremost, a geo-strategic partnership between London and Riyadh, which funneled money covertly to the Afghan mujahideen who were battling the Soviet Army in the 1980s; funded Chad in its border war with Libya; and bypassed the U.S. Congress to deliver American military hardware to the Saudi Air Force. Some senior U.S. intelligence officials insist that a full investigation of Prince Bandar's role in the al-Yamamah scheme would reveal that some of the BAE payoffs went from the Bank of England, to Bandar's account at Riggs National Bank--into the hands of Basnan, al-Bayoumi, and the California 9/11 hijackers cell. By Aug. 2, 2003, so many questions had been raised about the Bandar payoffs to Basnan, that the Ambassador was forced to issue a personal statement, through the Saudi Embassy, branding the allegations "baseless and not true,'' nothing more than "rumor, innuendo, and untruths.'' He cited President George W. Bush, who "praised the Saudi commitment to fighting terrorism.'' Bandar's efforts to cover up the Saudi government hand in 9/11, by invoking the words of President Bush, only served to further infuriate those U.S. officials who were trying to get to the bottom of the Sept. 11 plot. House and Senate intelligence committee investigators knew, for example, that when their final "Report of the Joint Inquiry into the Terrorist Attacks of Sept. 11, 2001'' was submitted to the White House for final review before publication, the entire text of a 28-page chapter, documenting evidence of Saudi government support for the hijackers--including the Bandar payments to Basnan--was blocked from publication and remains classified to this day. In a recent meeting with the families of the 9/11 victims, President Barack Obama was pressed to declassify the chapter. Both Presidents Bush were so close to Prince Bandar that the longtime Saudi Ambassador was widely referred to as an "honorary member of the Bush family.'' The G.W. Bush White House commitment to brutally suppress the evidence of the Anglo-Saudi hand in 9/11 was so deep that Osama Basnan, the Saudi intelligence officer, felt confident enough to be in Houston, Texas, on April 24-25, 2002, when then-Saudi Crown Prince (now King) Abdullah, along with Prince Bandar, visited Bush 43 at his Crawford ranch. The Prince's entourage was massive--eight planeloads of aides and hangers-on. Among the crowd were three Saudi officials suspected of ties to al-Qaeda. The "embarrassing'' incident was suppressed, along with Basnan's presence in nearby Houston, where he was reportedly meeting with a billionaire Saudi prince who was part of the Crawford entourage. Four months later, Sen. Bob Graham (D-Fla.), who chaired the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, which conducted the joint Congressional 9/11 probe along with the House Intelligence Committee, declared that, to his knowledge, the CIA had "incontrovertible evidence that there is support for these terrorists within the Saudi government.'' He would later emphasize the point in his book on the joint Congressional probe, {Intelligence Matters}. - Britain: State Sponsor of Terrorism - In December 2000, the editors of {EIR} submitted a lengthy memorandum to then-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, seeking an investigation of British government sponsorship of international terrorism (see below). The memo, prepared with the assistance of State Department attorneys, who provided {EIR} with the official criteria for placing a nation on the list of "state sponsors of terrorism,'' relied exclusively on official government documents, from no fewer than nine nations, that had formally protested British government protection, and, in some cases, financing of active terrorist cells on British soil. The {EIR} memo was triggered by a rash of asymmetric warfare attacks, many by groups spawned out of the 1979-89 Afghanistan War against the Soviets, a war covertly bankrolled and logistically backed by British, French, American, Saudi, and Israeli intelligence services. The British government's protection was extended to such terror groups as the {{Kurdish Workers Party (PKK)}}, which had a radio transmitter in Britain that broadcast marching orders for terrorist attacks into eastern Turkey; the {{Egyptian Islamic Jihad}}, which carried out a brutal 1997 attack on Japanese tourists at Luxor, Egypt, and had earlier assassinated Egyptian President Anwar Sadat; the Indian terrorist group {{Lashkar e-Taibi}}, which carried out assassinations and hijackings in 1999; and Chechen terrorists, who were recruited out of mosques in England. Among the charges against the British government: British intelligence had looked the other way, throughout the 1990s, as {{Osama bin Laden}} moved between Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sudan, and England. The London {Times} admitted that, throughout the second half of 1996, bin Laden made frequent trips to London, "clearly under the protection of British authorities.'' The {Times} had spotted bin Laden, earlier in the 1990s, at the London estate of {{Khalid bin Mahfouz,}} a wealthy Saudi banker who was a leading Muslim Brotherhood funder of a wide array of Jihadi groups, and a major shareholder in the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). In 1994, the French and Algerian governments filed diplomatic de@aamarches with the British Foreign Office, charging that bin Laden had met with leaders of the {{Islamic Group of Algeria (GIA)}}, which was then carrying out terror bombings in both countries. French intelligence tracked the bin Laden/GIA meetings to a bin Laden-owned estate in Wembley. For three months in 1994, according to other French sources, including investigator Roland Jacquard, Osama bin Laden lived on Harrow Road in London. Even after he left the country, bin Laden's leading propagandists operated out of London. According to "conventional wisdom,'' the British protection of a worldwide nexus of terrorist organizations was based on an understanding that the groups would not operate on British soil, or target British interests abroad. But, anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the history of the British Empire, from the early days of the British East India Company, through Lord Palmerston's sponsorship of the Young Europe, Young America, and Young Turk operations of the 19th Century, realizes immediately that this is a fraud. Sponsorship of asymmetric warfare is at the very heart of the British/Venetian method. And the Anglo-Saudi al-Yamamah project is the 20th- and 21st-Century equivalent of the British East India Company's sponsorship of legions of ethnic and religious separatist groups, assuring a ready stable of political assassins and perpetrators of "chaos on demand'' around the globe. - Will the Bush League Coverup End? - Even as investigators for the joint Congressional inquiry and the 9/11 Commission attempted to get at the role of Saudi intelligence in 9/11, a vicious coverup was being imposed directly from the White House, and with full complicity of elements within the FBI and Department of Justice. It became so blatant, that three 9/11 Commission investigators--Kevin Scheid, Col. Lorry Fenner, and Gordon Lederman--drafted a memo to their staff supervisors, Dan Marcus and Steve Dunne, proposing guidelines for FBI and other "Minders.'' The memo bitterly complained that FBI and other "Minders'' sitting in on interviews with Commission witnesses, interfered in the questioning and intimidated the witnesses: "Minders have positioned themselves physically and have conducted themselves in a manner that we believe intimidates witnesses from giving full and candid responses to our questions. Minders generally sat next to witnesses at the table and across from Commission staff, conveying to witnesses that Minders are participants in interviews and are of equal status to witnesses. Moreover, minders take verbatim notes of witnesses' statements and may engage in retribution. We believe that the net effect of Minders' conduct, whether intentionally or not, is to intimidate witnesses and to interfere with witnesses providing full and candid responses.'' The memo concluded with a plea: "We request that you raise the subject of Minders' conduct with the Executive Branch in order to prevent Minders from comporting themselves in these ways in the future.'' Attached to the memo were ten proposed rules of conduct, to block the intimidation. Apart from the fact that the memorandum was declassified and released at the National Archive earlier this year, no action was taken; and the Bush White House coverup--typified by the suppression of the Congressional report section dealing with Saudi government complicity in 9/11--continued to the end. - Condoleezza Rice Lied - The coverup, in at least one case, may have involved contempt of Congress. When a battle erupted between the 9/11 Commission and the White House, over the public disclosure of segments of a Presidential Daily Briefing from August 2001, in which President Bush was explicitly warned about a high-probability al-Qaeda attack against the continental United States, then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice testified before Congress that there was no "actionable intelligence'' provided by the intelligence community, and that no one could have anticipated the events of 9/11. In stark contrast to Rice's sworn testimony, U.S. intelligence had strong indications that, not only was al-Qaeda planning to hijack planes, but was planning to use them as weapons. According to the third document released this year by the 9/11 Commission, the Federal Aviation Administration and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) conducted a series of exercises, as early as October 1998--shortly after the attacks on two U.S. embassies in Africa--involving hijackings. The last of the exercises, "Vigilant Guardian I,'' took place between Sept. 6-10, 2001. In one of the scenarios, described in a 9/11 Commission summary chronology, a London-to-New York flight is hijacked by "terrorists with explosives who plan to detonate them over NYC.'' Clearly, the idea that terrorists were planning to use aircraft as a weapon against New York City, was on the minds of some Federal counter-terror officials prior to 9/11. - Basnan's Free Ride Home - On Oct. 21, 2002, a Federal judge in California ordered Osama Yousef Basnan and his wife, Majida Ibrahim Ahmad Dweikat, to be deported from the United States--for immigration violations! The Saudi intelligence officer who had been in the country illegally since the early 1980s, who had bankrolled, along with Omar al-Bayoumi, at least two of the 9/11 hijackers, was so pleased with the judge's order to send him back to Saudi Arabia, that he walked up to the Federal prosecutor at the end of the hearing and shook his hand, thanking him profusely for the free ride home. The message delivered that day in court could not have been clearer: The Anglo-Saudi terror nexus was off limits. The idea that two of America's most trusted so-called allies--Great Britain and Saudi Arabia--had betrayed the United States, and played an indispensible role in the worst terrorist atrocity in history on American soil, was to be buried.

Remains of Upshaw's ex-wife found AFTON, Okla. -- A skeleton found last month under a fence on rural property was identified as the ex-wife of Gene Upshaw. The cause of Jimmye Lee Hill-Upshaw's death is under investigation, said Kym Koch, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. It does not appear the 59-year-old woman was the victim of foul play, Koch said. Hill-Upshaw married Gene Upshaw in 1967 and later divorced. They had one son, Eugene Upshaw III. Gene Upshaw is the executive director of the NFL Players Association. The woman did not have a known permanent address, which made it difficult to identify her, Koch said. Authorities believe she visited Grand Lake Mental Health Clinic in Afton earlier this year. An Afton family member found the skeletal remains Sept. 23. APOLLO 11 ASTRONAUT BUZZ ALDRIN CALLS FOR MANNED FLIGHT TO MARS TO OVERCOME GLOBAL ECONOMIC PROBLEMS July 4 (LPAC) - Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the Moon, said in an optimistic July 3 interview with Britain's {Daily Telegraph}, "Given the backdrop of the ailing world economy, space exploration could offer younger generations much-needed goals, and I think we need to look quite a way down into the future to inspire our young people with that greatness." Aldrin continued, "America helped to take the world to the Moon 40 years ago, and America certainly can help lead the world in the direction of Mars." He added that setting up habitation on the surface of the red planet was a "wonderful objective for humanity." The {Telegraph} asked Aldrin for his views on global warming. Aldrin said he was skeptical of climate change theories specifying, "I think the climate has been changing for billions of years, and if it's warming now, it may cool off later. I'm not in favor of just taking short-term isolated situations and depleting our resources to keep our climate just the way it is today."

Beware of British Anti-Vaccination Operation by Laurence Hecht Editor, 21st Century Science & Technology June 29, 2009 A British-orchestrated Delphic operation is afoot to dupe Americans and others into opposing mass vaccination against the swine flu. The operation appears specially targeted at populist layers, of a sort well known to our phone teams, with some reach also into Green layers. The current operation features a lawsuit filed in an Austrian court in April, charging that the Austrian subsidiary of the American pharmaceutical company Baxter, is part of a genocidal plot to use flu vaccine as a bio-weapon to reduce world population by 5 billion people in the next 10 years. The suit was brought by Jane Burgermeister, a science writer of green inclination, apparently of dual Austrian and Irish origin, who has written for the British science organ {Nature}, the {British Medical Journal}, and {American Prospect}. While we welcome serious investigation into the possibility that Prince Philip's operatives might be cooking up new means of implementing their genocidal intentions, nothing in the lawsuit provides the slightest scientific evidence for such a contention. The telltale sign of an operation is that nearly every entity in the world but the British Empire is cited as responsible for the genocidal intention. In particular the known susceptibilities of American populist dupes are massaged by citing the United Nations Organization, the Bilderbergers, and even the Illuminati as among those responsible. The suit also invokes the possible connection of Presidents Obama and Bush, the U.S. Federal Reserve, JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs in complicity with Baxter AG's alleged genocidal plot. To enhance its Delphic appeal, the suit also invokes the Kissinger NSSM 200 Memorandum of 1974, the existence of FEMA security camps, and alleged mass gravesite preparations in the U.S.A. Lacking cogent evidence for the allegation of a specific intention to poison flu vaccines, the lawsuit offers as supporting evidence a potpourri of circumstantial evidence, much of it known to us, and draws liberally on Wikipedia entries for technical issues relating to swine flu virus mechanisms. While opposing vaccination as a plot, the lawsuit also charges that the swine flu and avian flu were engineered in laboratories, and falsely asserts that re-assortant viruses cannot occur naturally. The logic of the stated position is of the same type so often encountered from impotent conspirophiles: An engineered virus is out there, but we should not attempt to fight it with vaccine, because the pharmaceutical companies will poison the vaccine. In other words: You can't win; they're too powerful, anyway; so go home and die. Those who choose to become the willing victims of such manipulation may deserve their fate. These facts, and the telling failure to mention the leading world entity behind the presently genocidal intention. most clearly identifies the lawsuit and surrounding publicity as a classic British social control operation. If successful in evoking resistance to flu vaccination, the Delphic operation will cause the very effect which its credulous dupes are being rallied to oppose--the spread of a deadly flu pandemic which has the potential to escalate into a mass killer. True patriots should recall Cotton Mather and Zabdiel Boylston's courageous battle to introduce the smallpox vaccine into the Massachusetts Bay Colony, and reject this new version of a very old British game. Just to show how dirty politics can be I am posting a quote from a famous "liberal" Senator regarding "Healthcare" for the third world nations. Does anyone care to venture a guess who made these comments/ recommendations? Quote: American industrial, high technology for the model of health care has hurt medical care in the United States, and we cannot allow it to be established elsewhere.... We need primary care facilities; facilities that will be run by local people to solve local problems. We need simple basic systems constructed from the ground up by people ... with a simple, basic drug list to meet local needs. "We produce 25,000 pharmaceuticals in the United States; we cannot and should not export these. These drugs do not meet the needs of these people any more than costly diagnostic equipment does. They are simple people with simple problems. They have pain which should be alleviated, and it should be alleviated without using procedures or equipment which will frighten them. We must develop a list of essential drugs: aspirin, penicillin, malaria pills, as well as local herbal medicines that people can feel comfortable with." And in the United States: "We would do better to close down our centers. That would provide for basic needs as well as contain costs. You don't need a physician on duty; paraprofessionals can tend to most problems, particularly in our urban poor centers. They can provide palliative care and appropriate drugs at a reasonable cost."

President Obama intends to enact Hitler styled healthcare rationing, policies that will kill the "useless eaters". If you're 70 years or older he intends to "kill you". If you're poor, he intends to kill you, by denying you healthcare. What Obama and his healthcare advisers in the White House are proposing is "no different" than what Hitler enacted in 1939. To have Stone parrot the "Obama/Wall Street" line that "healthcare" is the 600 lb gorilla is disturbing to say the least. Healthcare is not broken, the real issue is the economy has been destroyed over the four decades since the murder of Kennedy. What's required is another Franklin Roosevelt who will crush these Wall Street parasites and start the job of rebuilding the US economy.

Whatever shortcomings the visual evidence display pro- or con- actual landings, it is hard to believe we went to the moon *that many times.* An enormous siphon of cash into defense contracting and the black budget instead? The budget cuts killed Apollo 18, 19 and 20, and some of that was no doubt for the Vietnam War. Even so, there were many in NASA who were fearful that something bad would happen eventually, that we shouldn't "push our luck". There were calls to stop even after Apollo 12! Gene Cernan is correct. They made drastic budget cuts to JFK's space program under LBJ and they eventually killed the program by 1972. In 1962 JFK asked Congress funding for "nuclear powered" booster rockets. You don't require nuclear powered booster rockets to get to the moon. It's clear JFK had a vision beyond landing a man on the moon. He intended to go to Mars using the moon as the launch point. JFK's space program acted like a science driver program for the US economy. His space program was the largest peace time expenditure in US history. The space program returned $0.10 for every penny invested in the program. Government and Wall Street "Budget" cutters today would have a hissy fit with all that "spending". What they don't understand is investing "credit" in productive ventures like the Apollo Space program returns significant amounts of real wealth to the economy as a whole. It increases living standards for all Americans. Hell , they might even try to kill JFK if he tried to repeat his space program today.

Jean, whose background had been deliberately muddied, was a Tsarist White Russian of some stature, who had fled Russia to avoid Communist reprisals, while Dominique was the daughter of company co-founder Conrad Schlumberger.
