How long before?  I don't think he was trusted by the plotters.  A week, two, a month?

Yet LBJ & Connally were at Kennedy for months to tour Texas.  Connally was a major player in the tour organisation, selecting the Trade Mart against S.S. security concerns, leading to the Elm St., dogleg.  LBJ & Connally's feud with Yarborough caused press reports in Texas of Democratic party disunity, forcing JFK to tour with all three men.  Always been suspicious to me.

Perhaps, but there remains no confirmation that LBJ was listening to a walkie talkie prior to the assassination.

Kevin, there is no 'perhaps' regarding the seating arrangements in the V.P. car or the V.P. follow-up.

The LBJ/Youngblood 'heroic leaping into the back seat story' is a total lie.  The only person in that vehicle that I feel I could trust to speak the truth would be Ralph Yarborough.  He stated that LBJ was hunched forward listening to Youngblood's radio.  He also observed Gordon Arnold having hit the ground on the knoll & said he could smell gunpowder when the car was level with the knoll, adding, "he didn't think that possible if the shot came from the 6th floor of the TSBD."

Sure, there was no love lost between LBJ, Connally and Yarborough and LBJ was hassling JFK that morning in the Hotel Texas to not travel with Yarborough.  Was he trying to have Yarborough in the presidential limousine?

One reason I wrote the post was to show you don't need to slog through all the dirt alleged about Johnson, as the cited article does, to reach an understanding of Johnson's role in the murder.  Once the basic plan was set to murder Kennedy in a crossfire at DP and blame Oswald, it was obvious that much remained to be done to make the story work.

LBJ's aide Cliff Carter was the man who collected Connally's clothing from TR2 nurse Hinchcliffe.  He told her that he was Connally's agent.  We know what happened to those articles of vital evidence, or rather what didn't happen.  It's also interesting that Arlen Specter kept Carter away from any testimony to the W.C.

There were several occupants in that car:

    1. Vice Presidential limousine - Lincoln - steel grey convertible
      • Herschel Jacks
      • Rufus Youngblood
      • Clifton Carter
      • Thomas Johns
      • Ralph Yarborough
      • Lady Bird Johnson
      • Lyndon Jonson

Did any of the other occupants confirm Yarborough’s account?

My distant memory tells me there were only 5 in the V.P.'s car, Jacks the Highway Patrol driver, Youngblood the S.S. agent in the front seat, Yarborough behind Jacks, Lady Bird centre back seat & LBJ behind Youngblood.

Carter & Johns were in the car behind, seen in the Altgens photo with rear passenger door partly open.

  5. Christian,  Firstly I must state that I have no knowledge of photographic enhancement techniques whatsoever.  Neither would I denigrate or discourage efforts to extract information from blow-ups of existing assassination related film.  Unfortunately I can never discern anything remotely conclusive from these kind of images, except coloured blobs.

As for police uniforms in the 'sniper's nest' window, I wonder why the many reports made by witnesses in the plaza did not spot any blue uniforms on the persons seen in that building prior to the arrival of the motorcade.  Mr & Mrs Rowland's two men with rifle & scope gunman wearing white shirt and having dark hair.  Admittedly seen on the 6th floor west window.  Or Richard Carr's observation of a heavyset man wearing horn-rimmed glasses & brown jacket on the 6th floor.  Carolyn Walther reported two men in a corner window, though she was not sure if they were on the 4th or 5th floor, but again one in white shirt with blond hair & 2nd man in brown jacket.  Around 20 inmates in a holding cell on the 6th floor of the County Jail reportedly observed two men in brown clothing, one with rifle & scope.  Obviously these sightings do not exclude the possibility of a gunman in police uniform on the 6th floor, but if there, he wasn't spotted by any observers.

So, I will await more conclusive/convincing results.

There is simply no way to get around this...

I agree Keven.  In view of operatives not recognising autopsy photos as the ones that they recall taking, or on different film type than they recall using, or operatives questioning the morgue furniture, i.e. stirrup head rests, or tiles, phones. In addition to the body arrivals in shipping caskets, body bags and such.

I lean strongly to not just pre-autopsy autopsy, but also to pre-morgue morgue, and perhaps pre-pathologists.

With so much ambiguity and nefarious actions that night a pre-autopsy hospital is not out of the question.

Pre Humes & Boswell did we have Osborne & Lipsey?  The mind boggles.

    Thoughts?

I find Angleton's inferences in relation to 'Executive Action' that the Soviets term 'wet jobs' being a bit rich.  When he related the killing of Tom Mboya I was waiting for the interviewer to jump in with questions on Dag Hammarskjold, Patrice Lumumba, Allende in Chile, or Sukarno in Indonesia etc., etc.

Angleton speaking of a 'Wilderness of Mirrors' is a subject which he was an expert with.

Long time since I've heard those chimes of Thames T.V., now defunct.

DR. MALCOLM PERRY DENIES DOING "THE BUTCHER JOB" ON JFK'S THROAT DEPICTED IN 'STARE OF DEATH' AUTOPSY PHOTOGRAPH:

Yes, I include this photograph when I give my presentations to U3A groups in the U.K. (I am speaking at another tomorrow, Monday 8th April).

So, If the pathologists at Bethesda were instructed in the morgue by higher ranks in the gallery, as per Fink's under oath testimony at the Shaw trial, to not investigate/dissect the throat area, then...who, what, when and where caused 'the butcher job'?

Frank Sidebottom? Sounds like a real hoot! The Brits own a patent on great humor.

Sadly our Frank is no longer with us.  Passing some 15 years back due to cancer.  A native of Manchester U.K., real name Chris Sievey, only really popular in the NW of England.  I found his shows, yes, a real hoot.  With his glove puppet called 'little Frank' complete with same head.  Such an eccentric local legend in Timperley Gtr., Manchester, when he died penny-less, his funeral was paid by fans and then they commissioned a statue erected in Timperley in his memory.

However, we digress.  Back to the not so funny big heads.

  10. I have never seen anything, or anyone, in these kinds of photographic blow-up Rorschach tests. Interesting though they may be.

However testimonies from Bowers of 'a commotion behind the fence' or Holland etc/Hill seeing smoke from the trees, the Willis photo showing smoke, Arnold hitting the ground after a gunshot whizzed past his ear, Yarborough smelling gunpowder, Summers stopped on the knoll by man with overcoat and gun, DPD Smith confronted by fake S.S. man & also smelled gunpowder, Hargis who met Roscoe White behind the knoll, Hoffman's sightings from the freeway, Newman's "the shot came from the garden behind." Plus the impressions of men in the S.S. follow-up car & other witnesses.....certainly no smoke without fire.

Something I've wondered about the morgue photo --- JFK's eyes are wide open. Apologies if discussed before. I couldn't find it.

Robert, check out the thread 'Death Stare photo cannot be in Bethesda Morgue' on page two of the Forum lists, particularly the piece written by Allan Eaglesham.

It's not just the open eyes that's odd.  I believe the entire Bethesda shell game was totally fraudulent.

  12. Sandy, with the differing times reported for the commencement of JFK's autopsy, the multi arrivals of caskets, the two morgues, the ambiguities of film & x-ray evidence, the brain(s) ("it fell out in my hand"), the non requirement for a scull cap ("surgery to the head area"), the Pitzer film, the completed x-rays prior to the arrival of the grey navy ambulance with Jackie & RFK, the estimated 60 degree shallow back wound etc., etc.

The only thing I can take from the fraudulent goings on at Bethesda is that JFK's assassination was a military coup d'etat.

I believe he is one of the 2 boys standing in front of the TSBD barely visible in the Altgens 6 photo, one of whom can be seen to be running after the limo in the Couch film. I also think he may have been misquoted, and that he actually said "I was standing...on the main street" (as opposed to the small access road that ran in front of the TSBD). (Or he may have gotten the name of the street wrong. I don't consider this to be a "biggie.") But he was standing almost directly below the TSBD window from which the shots were fired--which is important.

    Gotcha Denise, cheers.

Look forward to reading/watching more on this.  Documentation of an older morgue would be interesting alone.

Rick Russo & Brooks LaPlante were linked with DPUK yesterday by Zoom for FOUR hours!  There was so much info to take in, I need to listen to the whole thing again myself.  When the recording gets loaded onto You Tube I will link it here.  Strongly recommend revisiting this thread & to put four hours aside with pad & paper to take notes.  Very profound research by Brooks & Rick that clears up a large amount of the Bethesda smoke & mirrors.

  15. David's thread, 'Death Stare photo cannot be in Bethesda Morgue' highlights just one of the mysteries of events that various witnesses have given in testimonies.  How do we reconcile the drawing of the Bethesda morgue attributed to Rydberg, with the one sketched by Jim Jenkins?  How are we to understand the supposed autopsy photographs that shows a stirrup headrest, or the location of a telephone, or tiles that do not match the memories of participants?  How to explain the time discrepancies of when caskets, ornate, shipping or wooden were delivered to the morgue, by different personnel, or different arrival locations, or the differing times documented for the arrival of the body as well as the commencement of JFK's autopsy?  How can we explain how an autopsy photographer can claim that existing autopsy photographs were not taken by him and were shot on totally different type film than he recalled using?  How to explain photographers who took pictures of the body prior to any Y incision, with others of post incision?  How to explain Dennis David's statements of seeing Pitzer's film of JFK's autopsy when he was not seen in the morgue?  How can we explain the various sightings of the grey navy ambulance arriving, seen by Bethesda naval staff who were aware of JFK's body already in the morgue?  Just a few of the strange samples of evidence we have learned over the years.

The answer my friend is no longer blowin' in the wind.  The answer gives further proof of a coup d'etat in '63.

There were TWO morgues that were utilised for JFK's autopsies in Bethesda.  The Rydberg drawing is of the old morgue at Bethesda.  In the summer of '63 in a separate part of the hospital a new morgue was put in use, sketched by Jenkins.

I have Admitted Assassin on order. I'm looking forward to reading and discussing the subject further. Thanks again for the recommendations.

I'm reading 'A.A.' at present.  Always been agnostic on 'Badgeman' & Roscoe White.  However, co-authors J. Gary Shaw & Brian Edwards are sound investigators.  The book points to White being part of an ONI assassination team, his code name Mandarin on three cables sent by a 'C. Bowers' with acronym 'OSHA', interpreted as Office of Special Handling Assignments.  With each message indicating 'RE-rifle'.  Up to a point, (I'm only half way through the book) it is an interesting story, although not completely sold on the Tippit claims.

Interested to hear from Denny or others who have read Admitted Assassin for their thoughts.

The case has been muddied by conspiracy theorists who want to cover up the truth.

Let's be fair Denis, there was a hefty mud pack smeared over the facts of this case within hours of Kennedy's assassination by the likes of J. Edgar & various other government administrations, continued in the following months by the Warren Commission.  As for the 26 volumes, they cost me £1000, yet I've learned more factual information on this case from private researchers than from those Warren tomes.

Why CT's want to cover up the truth?  Do you not also think that those who fully concur with the Warren verdicts on Oswald, 3 shots, Ruby, no conspiracy etc., also cover up the truth?  (Whatever the truth is.)
