There are two Donald Nortons, Donald O. Norton, the guy Armstrong and Kathleen have been chasing, and Donald P. Norton, the former Air Force homosexual who was recruited to inform on gay servicemen. There is already a thread going on Donald O. Norton, and this one concerns the other one - Donald P. Norton.

I bring this up because of the information developed from the Armstrong files related to J. M. Langton, the Dallas SA ONI who ran informants, including one who was homosexual and was reporting on gay servicemen, just as DPN was. Although DPN says he thought he was working for CIA, the name CIA never came up, and I believe that is Garrison or his investigators who put together reports on DPN who surmised that. Instead, I believe that he was recruited by some branch of military intelligence, probably Air Force though it could have been Navy or even Army or Army Reserves, because the CIA would normally pass on those kind of assignments to the FBI or some other military intelligence agency that is legally allowed to operate domestically.

Also relevant is the case of Martin and Mitchell, two former Navy guys who worked for NSA and defected to USSR via Mexico City and Cuba and were suspected of being homosexual, but apparently were not.

DONALD P. NORTON

As summarized from interview notes taken by investigators(Charles Ward/R. Billings) for the New Orleans District Attorney (NODA) andnewspaper clips, released by the NARA under the JFK Act.

Born on January 23, 1932, a native of Columbus, Georgia, Donald P. Norton wasraised and educated in Georgia before entering the U.S.Air Force in October, 1949. A musician who played the organ and self-describedTV personality, Norton enlisted with the understanding he would play in the AirForce Band, which he did until 1952 when he was discharged over what hedescribed as a "personal involvement" and an "indiscretion"that led to him being sentenced to six months in a federal prison.

Returning to Georgia he continued his musicaleducation at a conservatory where he earned a bachelor and master degrees andin 1957 a job playing at the officers club at Fort Benning, Columbus, Georgia, where he performed forand met generals and other officers and officials. While there he wasapproached by a man representing the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), who told him "wewant to know who does what to whom," which the NODA investigator surmised,"the obvious implication being that it would his duty to ferret outhomosexuals in high military places." The money, Norton said, was good,$500 a month, and Norton continued what he called his "witch hunting"assignment until 1958, when the colonel who employed him was charged withembezzlement.

Norton thenmoved to Atlanta where he performed onweekends at the officers club, whose secretary Norton was convinced, was also agovernment agent, continuing to turn over information about homosexuals, proof"based on experience."

In early 1958he received a phone call from his contact who asked him if he would like totake a trip to Cuba. He met"Hugh Pharris" at the Easter Airline ticket counter at the Atlanta Airport. "Pharris" gavehim a case of phonograph records, saying "it is in the jackts,"samples of which he was to take to Carlo Media, a Cuban television personality,who was also working for the CIA at the time."Pharris" was described as a man who wore sun glasses and a verysloppy wig, who Norton is convinced was David Ferrie. A young lady was withhim, Carlotta Roth, a dancer at the Domino Lounge in Atlanta. After traveling to Cuba, Norton returned to Georgia via Miami and New York and reported to his CIA contact in Atlanta.

Norton saidhis next assignment was to infiltrate the Fulton County jail, where he was placedin the same cell with Robert Bolling, accused of dynamiting a synagogue. Otherassignments were more his specialty, to determine the existence of homosexualsin government jobs.

In 1960,while on a pleasure trip to New Orleans, Norton said he went to the My-O-MyClub, a homosexual hangout, where he saw "Hugh Pharris" (aka DavidFerrie), though he didn't break operational security and talk to him.

According tothe NODA investigation report of the interview with Norton, "…it should benoted that the man's (Norton's) physical appearance and his behavior indicateat a glance his sexual nature. A man of rather delicate features, slightlyoverweight, he is extremely nervous, a chain smoker, which may well be explainedby the fact that he is indeed frightened. On the other hand, he is afast-talking, well rehearsed witness, although his testimony is often confusingdue to his penchant for inconsequential gossip. He has a very inflated egoabout his musical talents and his ability to decipher weaknesses of others. Hedescribes himself as a passive homosexual who is really a bisexual, althoughthe latter terminology must be considered doubtful. On observation it must bestated that it seems unlikely that a man of such homosexual tendencies would beemployed by the intelligence agency, but, as he described the nature of hiswork, this was exactly the reason they hired him. He described the reason forgoing to work for the agency as two-fold. One, 'they had something on me,' he says,and two, 'the money was good.'"

Norton saidhe was paid on an assignment-by-assignment basis, received his orders by phonefrom a man who was only identified as "the Captain," and never heardthe term "CIA" by the initials used to describe theagency, and the first reference was the last reference to the company. He wastightly insulated from other CIA operatives and only knowsof a few others who have worked for the agency.

In September,1962, Norton said he was given the assignment of delivering $50,000 to theHotel Yamajel, in Monterray, Mexico. Driving in his own 1956Buick, he registered under his own name.

According tothe NODA investigator's report, "It should be noted here that Norton'sknowledge of Cuban policy of this country is extremely vague. He is able totheorize as if it were some revelation that the United States or CIA was behind the overthrowof Batista, but then when Castro threw out the CIA, it in turn, and the U.S. government turned againstCastro. He does however say that Carlo Media, the CIA-employed Cuban is now ina Castro prison, so he thinks. He says that after the Castro overthrow his onlyassignment involving Cuba was this courier trip toMonterray to turn over $50,000 to Harvey Lee…"

Afterregistering at the Yamajel Hotel, Norton said he was met by "HarveyLee" before he could even get to his room. They went into the bar and hada few beers. Norton described "Harvey Lee" as "a man of slightbuild who dressed casually, who appeared identical to Oswald except for thefact that his hair was not as thin as the hair of the man he saw in picturesidentified as Lee Harvey Oswald."

Norton alsonoted that "Harvey Lee" refused to look him in the eye. When askedwhere he was from, Norton recalled the answer, he thinks, was New Orleans. In return for the caseof money, in return Norton was given a case of documents in manila envelops,"the nature of which he does not know."

FromMonterray, Norton said he then drove to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he became atelevision personality and played at the bar of the Georgian Terracerestaurant. "There he was met by a man he can only describe as resemblingOral Roberts, the evangelist, and says this man came to him and used the codeidentification 'the weather is very warm in Tulsa," and Norton turned overthe documents to him in the parking lot, where the man was driving aVolkswagon.

Returning tothe United States, Norton was arrested at the behest of Albert Penn of FivePoints, Alabama, who Norton knew as a homosexual, and from whom he receivedsome of his instructions. Penn accused Norton of stealing checks, but he wasacquitted of the charge and released.

In 1965Norton went to Albany, Georgia, where he was contactedby "the Captain," who may be also known as "Del Merton." InAlbany in 1966 he saw a man he now knows to beClay Shaw with James A. Gray, an extreme right-wing political power, talkingtogether at the Double Gate Country Club. Gray then offered to help establishNorton in Albany with a $6,000 loan, which was ostensiblyand surreptitiously repaid by the CIA. Norton described Gary as a dangerous person andmoneyman behind the Continental Room, where Gordon Leonard was the front man.Norton later crossed paths with Clay Shaw once again at the Domino Bar in Atlanta.

In Albany, Norton was told torecruit the services of an ex-Marine police officer, John Stickler, and afriend, Jack C. White, Jr., but failed to follow through on the assignment.

In lateNovember 1966 Norton was instructed to go to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, where he was to get thenames of the homosexuals working at the missile tracking station on Grand Bahama, his last assignment forthe CIA. After a week he returned to Miami where he called hiscontact, a "Mr. Green," who informed him that "something was brewingin New Orleans and…he should take along, quiet vacation."

According tothe NODA report, "Norton claims he had no idea as to the nature of the New Orleans development, and that hehad no idea why he was being told to take this vacation. It worried him a greatdeal, so he went on a long circuitous trip attempting to find out what washappening, shy he had been summarily dismissed, so to speak. He suspected thathe had done something wrong but did not know the nature of the misdeed. Hefirst went to Key West to contact a CIA friend there, but wasunsuccessful. He returned to Miami but was unable to reachGreen again. He then drove to Savannna, and by this time was really frightened.He got in a plane and flew to Dallas and tried to contact aman named Stanley Walsh, who he had known in Houston, a man he describes as aformer trapeze artist, a former paratrooper who had been working for theagency…"

Flying to Honolulu, Norton contacted aretired naval captain, a doctor then in private practice, who told Norton toforget the problem. Another CIA contact, Bill Rusk, camefrom Texas, an alcoholic with Mafia connections whoran a liquor store in the Pioneer Hotel, who told him, "Join the party orget out."

From thereNorton went to Canada to hide out, butinexplicitly talked to a reporter, John Taylor of the British Columbia VancoverSun, requesting that Taylor put him in contact withthe New Orleans District Attorney's office. On August 5, 1967, the headlineread: "AMERICAN, 'NOWHERE ELSE TO GO' COMES HERE TO TELLFANTASTIC TALE LINKS CIA WITH OSWALD, CLAYSHAW."

"A linkbetween Lee Harvey Oswald, Clay Shaw, David Ferrie and the Central IntelligenceAgency is claimed by a man now in Vancover. Donald P. Norton, 35, told The Sunhe encountered all three while he was on the payroll of the CIA, the U.S. espionageagency."

Another assignment took him to the Hotel Yamajel in Monterrey, Mexico in =
September of 1962. As soon as he registered at the hotel, in his own =
name, he was immediately met by a man named Harvey Lee. They went into =
the bar and had a couple of beers. Harvey Lee was slight in build and =
casually dressed. He refused to look Norton in the eye. He said he came =
from New Orleans. Harvey Lee was identical to Lee Harvey Oswald except =
his hair was not as thin as the Oswald displayed by the Dallas police =

to Oswald for revolutionary activities against Castro. In return Oswald =
gave Norton a case of documents contained in manila envelopes, the =

Norton also knew Clay Shaw. In 1965, Norton went to Albany, GA, where he =
was contacted by his CIA friend. It was in Albany, that he saw Shaw =
talking with James A. Gray, an extreme right-winger, at a country club =
known as the Double Gate Country Club. After speaking with Shaw, Gray =
spoke with Norton and offered to get Norton established in Albany by =
lending him $6,000. Norton took the loan, which was paid back for him by =

Evaluation: The only source for establishing the fact that Oswald was in =
Monterrey in September 1962 is Norton, a CIA agent. Since intelligence =
agents of all sorts are notoriously unreliable, this reduces the quality =
of the data of this episode. It does appear that Norton was trying to =
get out of the CIA and by doing so he had to expose himself as a =
homosexual, a hazardous thing to do at that time. This fact would =
justify including him in this catalog. Data rating: 3.

At the time Norton encountered Oswald, records show that Oswald was =
working in Fort Worth for the Leslie Welding Company.

A security recording released to the public Monday by the Boston Police Department (BPD) depicts the June 2 shooting of Usaama Rahim by members of the Boston Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). Rahim was gunned down while on his way to work by an FBI agent and police officer who approached him without a warrant to question him about an alleged plot to commit “ISIS-inspired” terrorist acts in the city.

In the aftermath of Rahim’s death, media accounts breathlessly echoed claims by law enforcement that the suspect had been linked to a terrorist plot to “behead” police officers involving multiple plotters, citing suspicious social media activity as well as recorded statements he had made while under investigation. “This guy had malicious intent, and our officers were really faced with that,” Boston Police Commissioner William Evans told CNN after the video was released.

But rather than confirming claims by the FBI and police that Rahim had been involved in a terror plot and that when approached Rahim responded violently, unsheathing a machete-like weapon and lunging at the officers, the video—lacking audio, taken by a fast food security camera over 50 yards away and partially obscured by rainfall—shows no evidence of any aggression on the part of Rahim.

Rather, the video shows Rahim being approached by a group of plainclothes officers in a threatening manner, after which several seconds elapse before the victim’s body collapses to the pavement from what is assumed to be police gunshots.

“The video does not show Mr. Rahim possessing, holding, or brandishing a weapon of any sort, much less a knife,” declares a statement released by lawyers representing Rahim’s family. “The video does not show Mr. Rahim plotting, scheming, or planning an attack on law enforcement officers. To the contrary, the video depicts Mr. Rahim walking toward a bus stop on the way to work.”

The statement goes on to note that “whatever the public, law enforcement, or the courts ultimately conclude about Mr. Rahim’s alleged involvement with illegal activity, important questions central to our democratic traditions remain. We do not live in a police state or totalitarian country.”

A comment published by the Intercept notes “a profoundly disturbing aspect of this incident” in which “the police can now accost someone in the street who, by all accounts, was doing nothing wrong at that moment, kill him, and then just scream ‘ISIS’ and ‘Terrorist’ and ‘beheading’ enough times and no real questions will be asked.”

Rather than resolve questions about Rahim’s alleged terrorist sympathies and behavior leading to his death, the video leaves significant questions unresolved. Why hadn’t extensive police surveillance of the suspect produced enough evidence of his wrongdoing to result in a warrant for his arrest? Why did members of the JTTF attempt to accost a supposedly dangerous suspect in a busy public area, where someone was sure to be harmed?

Claims that Rahim had expressed sympathy for Islamic extremism on social media are also undermined by his previous statements publicly denouncing violence. According to The Associated Press , the suspect declared on a Facebook post that “killing people is anti-Islamic… we do not fight evil with that which causes a greater evil.” In a Facebook post dated November 7, 2012, in which he speaks of US government attempts to monitor and speak to him without a warrant, Rahim warns that “[the U.S. government will] have you making statements about things that could get you jail-time, [things] that in fact, you were preaching AGAINST i.e., violence and terrorism.”

Since 9/11, the high-profile “foiling” of terrorist plots, which later turn out to have been entirely fabricated or even instigated by police provocateurs, have served the function of whipping up a political atmosphere of fear and paranoia, in order to justify ongoing wars abroad under the fraudulent framework of the “war on terror.”

FBI officials in Boston had extensive contact with Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev before the 2013 attack that killed 4 and wounded 264 others. Last year, defense lawyers for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was sentenced to death in April for his involvement in the bombing, filed papers with the U.S. District Court alleging that the FBI had tried to recruit Tamerlan as an informant in the period leading to the 2013 attack.

The killing of Rahim raises troubling parallels with the May 2013 killing of Ibragim Todashev by the FBI. Interrogators claimed that Todashev, an associate of Tsarnaev, had attempted to attack his interrogators with a knife. It later emerged that Todashev was unarmed and had been shot execution-style by FBI agents.

What on earth has this got to do what I just asked for?

Bill said the FBI put him on hold, and then came back with (and I am paraphrasing here) "...yeah, we know about Oswald, he's okay."

The FBI gave the Warren Commission photographic copies of documents rather than originals, and the HSCA's own expert witnesses explained how copies can be manipulated to "prove" whatever is wanted. Now the question becomes, Would the FBI lie and cheat to prove whatever it wanted? And the answer, then and now, is a resounding yes.

Look at the evidence from this year alone....

"Pseudoscience in the Witness Box: The FBI faked an entire field of forensic science," is the headline from the April 22, 2015 online edition of Slate Magazine.

The same Slate article quoted a Washington Post story of a few days earlier, which stated: “The Justice Department and FBI have formally acknowledged that nearly every examiner in an elite FBI forensic unit gave flawed testimony in almost all trials in which they offered evidence against criminal defendants over more than a two-decade period before 2000.”

Things look pretty bad for the FBI recently, but how about in earlier days? Surely they were better then, right?

Of course not.... Remember the Frederick Whitehurst scandal from the 1990s? Whitehurst was one of the Bureau's top scientists, and he complained for more than a decade toward the end of the last century about the FBI's vaunted crime lab faking evidence and slanting it toward the prosecution. According to the Feb. 27, 1998 edition of CNN:

For 10 years Whitehurst complained mostly in vain about lab practices. But his efforts finally led last April to a scathing 500-page study of the lab by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Bromwich.

Bromwich blasted the famed lab for flawed scientific work and inaccurate, pro-prosecution testimony in major cases, including the Oklahoma City and World Trade Center bombings.

Bromwich recommended major reforms, discipline for five agents that is still under consideration and transfer of Whitehurst to other duties.

Whitehurst, of course, was pilloried endlessly by defenders of the FBI, eventually resulting in the award of more than a million dollars to Whitehurst as compensation, and a new federal law protecting whistleblowers!

So... for a quarter century and probably more, the FBI has clearly been cooking the evidence to favor the prosecution. But that didn't happen back in the good ole' days, right? Not when J. Edgar was in charge.

William Sullivan (a top-ranking FBI official) said, "Hoover did not like to see the Warren Commission come into existence. He showed a marked interest in limiting the scope of it and taking any action which might result in neutralizing it."* He added, "If there were documents that possibly he (Hoover) didn't want to come to the light of the public, then those docu­ments no longer exist, and the truth will never be known."**

We have already looked at the testimony of Frances Knight (Passport Chairperson) regarding this issue, but the Warren Commission (WC) also called Abram Chayes who was a legal advisor to the State Department. Here is an exchange on this topic (again, keep in mind, the issue of a passport being issued is very relevant as IF LHO did NOT get issued one he could NOT shoot JFK (if you believe the WC’s conclusion)).

In this document you will see it says LHO requested that his US citizenship be REVOKED and came to the consulate office of the US Embassy to SIGN THE FORMAL PAPERS, but was REFUSED by the Embassy. So, it seems it only took an oath at the Embassy before a diplomatic or consular officer to renounce one’s citizenship, thus, the question has to be asked, why was LHO trying to fill out paperwork to do this? He even says in his letter that he was refused his LEGAL RIGHT. Why? Who did NOT want LHO to renounce his citizenship? Or was he play acting again? Either scenario shows there were bigger plans for LHO even then and his return to the US was necessary.

As you can tell from my bio, I work at Southern Methodist University ("SMU"). When I moved to Dallas in 1999 I got a job at SMU's Center for Media & Instructional Technology ("CMIT"). The CMIT media librarian at the time (introduced to me as "Judy Childs") was in fact Judy Chiles, wife of Bill Chiles, part owner of Jaggars Chiles Stovall.

Well, you know, when I found that out I just went through the roof! So at one of our Chritmas parties, I approached Bill (who is a sweet guy) and I asked him point blank about Lee Harvey Oswald working for his company.

Bill stated that Oswald was generally a crappy employee, that we wore thick black military-type boots, was surly, and to the concern of Bill at least, walked around speaking in Russian.

Since they did some work for the US Government, Bill was concerned about this guy enough to call the FBI. Bill told the FBI that this guy named Oswald was clunking around in military boots, speaking in Russian and making a nuisance of himself. Bill said the FBI put him on hold, and then came back with (and I am paraphrasing here) "...yeah, we know about Oswald, he's okay."

Housing prices in the U.K. are set to soar amid an explosion in mortgage debt and homelessness.

The cost of housing is set to rise 25 percent in the next five years in the United Kingdom, according to new estimates released Thursday.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors warned the number of homes for sale has now dropped to the lowest level since 1978, amid a spike in consumers looking to enter the housing market.

Estimates of the average price of a new home in the U.K. are around 196,000 pounds (US$294,000).

Halifax’s housing economist Martin Ellis warned the supply of houses has become “extremely tight.”

“The imbalance between supply and demand is likely to continue to push up house prices over the coming months,” he told the Guardian newspaper.

Some economists have already warned housing prices are shouldering Britons with historically high levels of debt. In 2014, an NMG study commissioned by the Bank of England found the average household owed £83,000 pounds (US$124,500) of mortgage debt, but only made an average of £33,000 (US$49,500) in income per year. According to a separate study by Debt Action, mortgage debt is the worst in Northern Ireland. According to the study, debt has risen 24 percent since 2013.

While housing prices continue to rise, aid groups are also warning of a resurgence in homelessness. According to a study by charities Crisis and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation earlier this year, England alone saw a 9 percent rise in homelessness between 2013 and 2014, with over 280,000 people now estimated to not have a roof of their own.

The charities blamed the increase in homelessness on cuts to welfare and a “woeful lack of affordable housing.”

At the time, the study’s lead author Dr Suzanne Fitzpatrick told the BBC many more people could be at risk of slipping into homelessness.

“Yet this alarming trend has gone largely unnoticed by politicians or the media,” she warned.

A school lunch lady is out of a job after being fired for giving lunches to kids who didn’t have any money.

Della Curry told KCNC that a first grader was crying because she didn’t have enough money for lunch so Curry gave her a lunch.

It was not the only time she provided a nutritious lunch for a child, often paying for them out of her own pocket.

KCNC said the district provides lunches for students who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch when they do not have the funds to pay. But the lunch, which is one slice of cheese on a hamburger bun and a small milk, was not sufficient in Curry’s opinion.

Curry admits she broke the law and that her firing is policy, but said that the policy needs to change.

Now, I recognize that the lady broke policy, and in turn acknowledged the risk of being fired. But this situation lends itself to a much bigger discussion.

A common chemical, used in everything from shampoo to plastics, may be causing infertility in boys while they are still in the womb, it has emerged.

Mothers-to-be, simply by washing their hair or using make-up, may unwittingly be increasing the risk of their sons suffering defective sex organs, low sperm counts and even cancer.

Substances called phthalates - found in shampoos, conditioners, skin lotions and make-up, as well as in the environment generally - are linked to a dramatically increased rate of abnormalities and infertility.

A two-year experiment which exposed rats to high levels of phthalates has shown that the chemical disrupts the male hormone testosterone at a crucial stage of foetal development, doubling the rate of defects and leading to low sperm counts.

Researchers believe that in some cases, cell changes caused by the chemicals may also increase the risk of testicular cancer later in life.

Phthalates are often not listed as an ingredient so people do not even know they are using them.

The number of infant boys suffering the two most common forms of genital abnormality has doubled in 50 years.

Up to 4 per cent of baby boys suffer an undescended testicle and about 0.7 per cent are born with an abnormality called hypospadias, which means they cannot pass urine normally.

Rates of testicular cancer, which is diagnosed in 2,000 British men every year, have risen by 84 per cent since the late 1970s.

Pollution and 'gender bending' chemicals called oestrogens, found in pesticides, paints and plastics, have previously been suspected.

But the latest study by the Medical Research Council's human reproductive sciences unit in Edinburgh suggests phthalates are the culprit.

The findings will be presented at the British Fertility Society's annual conference in Aberdeen this week.

Professor Richard Sharpe, senior MRC research scientist, said yesterday that the chemicals may affect hormone levels throughout life.

"What we have found has previously been overlooked by toxicologists testing phthalates. There are fundamental abnormalities with the development of testicular cells and the consequence is you get these genital disorders."

Other studies had shown women of reproductive age had higher levels of phthalates in their bodies.

"It could be because they are using more cosmetics and effectively spreading these chemicals over themselves," he said.

Researchers exposed rats to phthalate levels estimated to be several hundred times higher than that humans would encounter. But the average human exposure to phthalates is not exactly known.

Afghan Govt Claims All Slain Were Taliban

On Friday, US drones attacked a funeral in Afghanistan’s Khost Province, tearing through a crowd of mourners and leaving at least 34 of them dead. The funeral was reportedly for a Taliban fighter, and the Afghan government insisted that by extension, all the mourners must’ve been Taliban too.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid confirmed the strike, but insisted a number of the victims were innocent civilians from the nomadic tribe the slain fighter was a member of . Afghan MPs from the region similarly claimed a number of civilians were slain.

Oddly, while everyone else was reporting the attack was on a funeral inside a cemetery, Khost provincial police claimed the US strike was against Taliban forces who were “running away” from the police along the Pakistan border.

Civilian tolls in US strikes have posed a huge problem for Afghan governments in the past, and former President Hamid Karzai’s feckless criticism both angered locals (since it never seemed to stop future attacks) and alienated him from the US. So far, President Ghani seems to be trying to avoid comment on such incidents.

To the best of my knowledge Lee Harvey Oswald is void of a “bald spot”. Moreover, given that Mr. Euins observed the actual armed shooter’s “bald spot” this suggest he was observing a left-handed shooter (Oswald is right-handed).

Given the sworn testimony of Mr. Euins, there is an armed shooter firing upon the presidential motorcade that afternoon who remains still at large (or, at the very least evidence of an additional gunman).

Now, let’s examine what the closest eyewitness, Mr. Benavides (Domingo), who coincidently enough was never called to identify Oswald in a line up, says of the actual assailant who ambushes and kills the slain police officer at 10th & Patton>

*a complexion “Ruddier than mine”

*a complexion “a little bit darker than average”. Photos and film footage of Benavides show that his complexion was light brown, whereas Oswald’s complexion was pale white.

So, the actual assailant at 10th & Patton was much darker than Oswald. Moreover, Oswald's presentation is much cleaner and neater than someone in dire need of a haircut>

Apparently, Benavides did eventually identify Oswald as the killer. However, if Benavides did really believe Oswald was the killer, then why on Earth did he hesitate to identify him during his Warren Commission testimony? More to the point, why should anybody accept his later identification as being trustworthy? The truth is we shouldn’t.

There is also the mysterious shooting of Benavides brother, Edward, in January 1964. Edward was shot in the back of the head in a club in Dallas. Many researchers have claimed that the intended target was Domingo - due to the fact that he didn’t positively identify Oswald as the killer. Quite curiously, on January 23 1964, Warren Reynolds, who followed Tippit’s murderer into Roger Ballew’s Texaco Service station, was shot in the head by a rifle at point blank range, but had miraculously survived.

Rather than push a hastily contrived script upon the American people, and the genuinely concerned world community at large, Why? didn't those charged with fully investigating this matter from day one pull out all the stops, leaving no stone unturned in pursuing, identifying, apprehending and questioning these two still at large killers? For five full decades now, the BIG lie continues to enhance the script, rather than even try to address these major concerns. Why?

An additional eyewitness, Howard Brennan, who observed an armed gunman in Dealey Plaza that afternoon, also doesn't believe Oswald resembled the actual shooter he observed>

New Study Confirms BP Linked To Dolphin Deaths in Gulf of Mexico

A new study published in the peer-reviewed online journal PLOS ONE hypothesizes that dolphins are dying in mass directly because of BP’s 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Though BP denies the validity of the scientific data, it indicates that impairment caused by the toxic oil is causing widespread death in the bottlenose dolphin population.

The study was conducted from June 2010 to December 2012 on 46 dead dolphins that stranded near Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama. 22 were from Barataria Bay, the hardest hit area in the spill. All were labeled UME dolphins (unusual mortality event). They were studied in reference to deceased dolphins from a separate region that was not exposed to oil.

Lead researcher, veterinary pathologist Kathleen Colegrove, said,

“We found that dolphins that stranded and died after the oil spill were more likely to have distinct adrenal gland and lung abnormalities compared to other dolphins that were not exposed to oil. These abnormalities, importantly, are very consistent with abnormalities that have been seen in other animals following petroleum oil exposure.”

Though the study examined various systems and organs, the most significant differences between subject and control dolphins were in the lungs, adrenal glands, and lymphoid system.

Whereas 7% of reference dolphins presented a thin cortical lining of the adrenal gland (adrenal cortical atrophy), 33% of UME dolphins did. 50% of Barataria Bay dolphins displayed this disorder. The researchers noted that to their knowledge, adrenal cortical atrophy had not previously been found in free-range cetaceans.

The study explained that death was likely caused directly by:

“1) affected adrenal gland cortices, causing chronic adrenal insufficiency, 2) increased susceptibility to life-threatening adrenal crises, especially when challenged with pregnancy, cold temperatures, and infections, and 3) increased susceptibility to primary bacterial pneumonia, possibly due to inhalation injury, aspiration of oil, or perturbations in immune function.”

As Stephanie Venn-Watson, veterinary epidemiologist at the National Marine Mammal Foundation and lead author of the study clarified,

“Animals with adrenal insufficiency are less able to cope with additional stressors in their everyday lives…and when those stressors occur, they are more likely to die.”

Further, Colegrove remarked that

“These dolphins had some of the most severe lung lesions I have seen in the over 13 years that I have been examining dead dolphin tissues from throughout the United States.”

The lesions are caused by severe pneumonia, which according to the study, was often caught because of adrenal cortical atrophy.

Additionally, the analysis found that “UME dolphins had a higher prevalence of lymphoid depletion in either or both the spleen or lymph node than reference dolphins.”

The researchers acknowledged that there could have been other causes of death among the UME dolphins, including “combined oil exposure, an unusually cold winter during 2011, and fresh water infusions.”

Nevertheless, the study concluded that “… contaminants from the DWH oil spill contributed to the high numbers of dolphin deaths within this oil spill’s footprint during the northern GoM UME following the DWH oil spill.”

Though BP was ordered to pay a $13.5 billion fine (less than expected) as punishment, the sum amounts to the cost of doing business with a government that creates hegemonic systems of oppression by colluding with corporations. The fine parallels the futility of recent DOJ fines on big banks that perpetrated the financial collapse. In spite of billions of dollars in slaps on the wrist, the corporations forced to pay maintain full power.

Naturally, BP refused to accept responsibility for the spill’s effects on dolphins—in spite of the fact that the Deepwater Horizon oil spill was the largest in history. The 200 million gallon spill endangered countless animalsand still pollutes the region. Even so, BP said last week that

“The data we have seen thus far, including the new study from NOAA, do not show that oil from the Deepwater Horizon accident caused an increase in dolphin mortality.”

The study was funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and “other federal and state trustees,” but it was also funded by BP itself. In response to BP’s statement, Colegrove stressed a rigorous peer-review process.

Whether or not BP admits it, dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico continue to suffer the harmful effects of the company’s disaster. As other marine animals also struggle to survive, it is time to hold the perpetrators accountable not only financially, but by lessening the power the corporation wields over the system..
