RFK Programme tonight on BBC Four

Recommended Posts

I just thought that UK members of this forum might be interested to know that there is a documentary on RFK tonight at 10pm on BBC Four as part of their 'Storyville' series:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/documentaries...ville/rfk.shtml

The film is followed by Oswald's Ghost:

"Deconstructing the myths and conspiracy theories and looking at the legacy on American politics and culture of the assassination of President Kennedy. Including interviews with Norman Mailer, Gary Hart, Tom Hayden, Mark Lane and Edward J Epstein.

Using a wealth of archive material, some never seen before, acclaimed director Robert Stone attempts to analyse the case that has obsessed the world for the past 40 years."

I'm not sure if this will work, but it's worth a try. It will most likely only work with A UK ISP. This is a link to a previously existing live stream from BBC four, it may still be useable in the UK, http://support.bbc.co.uk/multicast/rams/uni/video16.ram

It is more than likely a dud, but give it a go anyway.

I kept getting "Not Found." There is also much controversy about a Princess Diana investigation to be shown tonight on BBC, Channel 4.

Hi Kathleen,

the documentary will be on tonight I think but it is the commercial station Channel 4. BBC Four is a digital television channel only available if you have digital tv.

Yes, there has been a lot of pressure from various politicians and also the two princes to try and stop the programme from being shown. Totally without reason in my opinion. No actual pictures of Diana lying in the tunnel will be shown so I don't see what the fuss is all about. The programme makers have said that they won't be showing any photos that haven't previously been published elsewhere.

Mind you, I never really was a fan of hers or the monarchy in general so maybe people who are, would have a different view. I think Channel 4 are quite right to refuse to pull the programme.

The photograph that will not be shown on the documentary can be found here:

Access to photographs of the crash scene in the IMMEDIATE aftermath of the event would be invaluable to open, honest researchers. Two areas of inquiry come to mind:

1. CONDITION OF THE CAR -- Is the mangled wreckage visible in video of its removal from the tunnel the result of impact or post-impact manipulation?

2. IDENTITY OF FIRST RESPONDERS -- Can images of the paramedics, fire fighters, paparazzi, and others who were present within minutes of the crash be identified?

Did anyone see either of the shows, and if so, was there anything new in them?

That is RFK and Oswald's Ghosts, the Robert Stone shows, not Diana.

Thanks,

BK

I caught most of the RFK documentary, I had seen it before. It was quite a moving biography of RFK from 1960 until his death. As for 'Oswalds Ghost', it wasn't much use. It tried to depict Mark Lane as the creator of the JFK assassination conspiracy theory and just sought to knock down his reputation. There was a lot of good footage that I had not seen before though. I kept one eye on it as I typed.
