Terry Adams
Taken from the comments section of the Mary Ferrel Site. I feel like this pretty well says it all! Any thoughts, comments? Comment JFK Assassination by HOLLYWOOD on Fri, Nov 20, 2009, 1:26 AM GMT (#1806) Comment on Site Section: JFK Assassination As we are about to commemorate the 46th anniversary of President Kennedy's public execution in Dallas. At a time when there were just military advisers in Vietnam, a very small worldwide drug problem and an economy where 40% of the American workforce was unionised and not in a mountain of debt. It's worth remembering -that his legacy was that he tried so hard to bring peace and comfort to America and the world and his own government killed him for it. What would he think of the way things are now? The CIA that he swore to destroy and "scatter to the winds" -is much more powerful and dangerous than ever. Specially with the drug trade which dominates the American economy or rather the Wall Street "insiders" that control and launder its immense cash profits. What would JFK think of the state of social security, of Americans having to work way beyond the age of 62 which he campaigned for retirement age. Of the health and debt crisis and so on... What would he think of 9-11? George H. Bush, George W. Bush and waiting in the wings and still being groomed George P. Bush? In 1963 at the height of the Cold War, Kennedy inspired hope and sanity. Today its all about despair and insanity. We are told we won the war on Communism, but yet the biggest Communist country on the planet owns our economy and us. What about the war on poverty which LBJ said he would overcome, Reagans war on drugs and George W's war on terror which has been conveniently made to be the way to control us for many years to come. All these wars -and they say "the first casualty of war is the truth". 11-22-63 is when all the misery we have now, really started. But don't look to the media or the so called historians, to show all that in their remembrance of JFK's death. They're all too busy "reporting" on Sarah Palin and who the winner will be on American Idol! Edited April 28, 2010 by Terry Adams
