Cleveland, OH (October 9, 2010) Following a new analysis of an audio recording capturing the events leading up to the fatal shooting of four students at Kent State University on May 4, 1970, Domestic Policy Subcommittee Chairman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has requested documents concerning the events from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Kucinich writes, "In connection with an article published today in the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, concerning new revelations about the shootings of Kent State University students on May 4, 1970, the Domestic Policy Subcommittee of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee hereby requests the following documents:

1) All documents pertaining to a relationship between the Bureau, including any employment records and any payment for photographic or other services, and Mr. Terry Norman;

2) All documents pertaining to a ballistics test or forensic examination conducted by the Bureau of a Smith and Wesson pistol recovered from Terry Norman on or about the day of the Kent State shootings; and

3) All documents pertaining to assistance of any kind, including employment assistance provided by the Bureau to or on behalf of Mr. Terry Norman."

Mr. Terry Norman was allegedly hired by the FBI to take photographs during the protests at Kent State University. During the protests, he carried a pistol. It is believed by some that he used his handgun that day, which led National Guardsmen to open fire into a crowd of students, killing four people and injuring another nine. An audio analysis of a 40 year old audio tape was conducted at the request of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. If the FBI murdered these innocent kids in 1970 imagine what they would do to war portesters today IF we were to actually have a true anti war movement. Put us in FEMA camps? On no fly lists? Or just shoot us like 5/4/70.

Mr. Thomas presented Echo Location analysis of existing audio tapes from the time of the Dealey Plaza assassination: "Donald Thomas, an investigative author for Britain's Forensic Science Society, conducted a new acoustical study of the sound recordings and again mapped out a fourth shot coming from the infamous Grassy Knoll.

'The gunshot-like sounds occur exactly synchronous with the time of the shooting,' wrote Donald Thomas for the publication Science and Justice."

Mr. Thomas' work was also used in proving precisely which shots at Kent State were fired by which individual. When confronted with the evidence the individuals confessed:

"... acoustics study of the Kent State shooting for the Department of Justice. ... using the exact same procedure - echo location - and the audio record of the incident, Barger had identified the physical locations to within ten feet of where the first several gunshots were fired. Using photographs and films of the incident, the Department of Justice identified the individual National Guardsmen in those specific locations. When these men were arrested - all admitted that they had fired their weapons."

Nixons main trouble over the event was to figure out a way to blame the students (why bring Obama into it?. Blame the passivity that has been bred into the US public. Those kids had guts back then).

The FBI came up with lots of little pebbles they had found lying about the place, that was their 'evidence'.

Cartoons followed showing the death squad being given medals for conspicuous valor in the face of harsh words.

The death squad (who had already been used in Cleveland) were so tightly packed and swung about face in unison so of course it was them. Plenty of photos and footage to indicate it.

The word on the street at the time was that an FBI Hood had started it by firing a pistol once, the guard certainly acted as if that was a signal.

Premeditated cold blooded murder.

The protests were in response to the carpet bombing of north Cambodia. (to destroy part of the Ho Chi Minh trail.)

This is extremely important.

Kucinich is also on the National Security Sub Committee of the House Oversight Committee, and may be chairman of that subcommittee, at least until after the election, when the Repblicans may take control over the committee leadership once again and halt all oversight of everything.

Kucinich Plans to Call Hearings on New Kent State Evidence.

A congressional hearing on newlyreleased May 4 evidence could transpire before the end of the year, U.S. Rep. DennisKucinich *D. Cleveland) said.

The hearing willdepend on what information the FBI provides to the congressman’s DomesticPolicy Subcommittee, which he chairs.

Kucinich requested on Oct. 9 that the FBI released any documents regardingformer student Terry Norman, who was acting as an informant on the morning ofMay 4, 1970.

Norman is suspected of being involved in an altercation that resulted in fourgunshots fired 70 seconds before the Ohio National Guard opened fire on studentprotestors, killing four and wounding nine.

“I think we owe it to all those who were involved and who lost their lives andto history, as well, to determine if new information should cause us to reframeour view of what happened at Kent State back so many years ago,” Kucinich toldTV2 on Friday.

Kucinich said the FBI documents could come any day, as that process typicallytakes two weeks.

Audio expert Stuart Allen identified the four mysterious gunshots afterstudying a recording of the shootings, The Plain Dealer reported Oct. 8.

Kucinich said Allen’s analysis provides a credible reason to re-examine whathappened that day.

Joe Butano, a former soundman for Cleveland NBC affiliate WKYC, was a witnessto the day’s events. He said he told Kucinich roughly two years ago that heheard a Kent State police detective take Norman’s gun and say, “Oh my god, hefired four times.”

Kucinich asked Butano whether he would testify in hearings if it ever came tothat, and he said he would, Butano told the Daily Kent Stater.

And Butano wasn’t the only one.

Kucinich said other witnesses have told him about the incident involvingNorman, but he said Allen’s assessment now supports those testimonies withsolid scientific evidence.

Kucinich’s staff can conduct an interview if there is any question aboutAllen’s expert qualifications.

Allen worked with colleague Tom Owen in May on the May 4 recording, areel-to-reel tape created by student Terry Strubbe from his dormitory window.Audio forensic expert Arlo West said he wasn’t acquainted with Allen, but saidOwen’s work is trustworthy.

“Tom Owen is one of the best in the world,” West said. “There’s no doubt in mymind that if he was involved in this, the findings he came up with are probably100 percent accurate.”

Former WKYC soundman Joe Butano supplied TV2 and Daily Kent Stater reporters arare video of the events surrounding May 4 during an interview last week.

Butano and WKYC reporter Fred DeBrine were on campus on May 4, 1970, andcaptured the students protesting and the Ohio National Guard firing uponstudents.

The video is a compilation of Butano and DeBrine’s tape showing the day of theshootings, the events downtown on Friday, May 1, the ROTC building burning andstudent-recorded video that includes images of the shooting’s victims.

Most importantly, the video includes footage of Terry Norman — the armedstudent who many witnesses claim fired four shots prior to the Guard shooting —running through the Commons after he said he was attacked by protesters.

Some of the students killed and wounded weren't even protesting but were just crossing the campus. Those who were wounded were certainly radicalized by the shooting.

If anyone assaulted firemen they should have been arrested for assault, not shot by the national guard.

How could it not have anything to do with the FBI if the person who fired the first six shots was an FBI informant and instigator?

And those who were protesting weren't terrorists but radical revolutionaries, not unlike John Barry, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and that gang of pirates.

If you think the Natonal Guard acted in the best interests of the people of Ohio by killing some of them, then I feel bad for you.
