Ron Bulman Posted January 29, 2019 Share Posted January 29, 2019 David, I think I know just enough to be confused. The JM part of JMATE relates to JMWAVE, the Miami HQ for Cuban operations? I guess the ATE relates to the Bay of Pigs operation between your posting it on Mr. Caddy's thread about such and the wording of Dulles memo. On the second page under parent office I guess the WH stands for Western Hemisphere, the rest I have no idea about. But... with the P in parentheses after the names of the last two only then only they have a parent office of DPD... the P does not stand for Police, and the DPD for Dallas Police Department. Does it? David Boylan Posted January 29, 2019 Share Posted January 29, 2019 Ron, JMATE as described at the Mary Ferrell website - Overall Cuban operations, including the Bay of Pigs project. Known as JMARC before this cryptonym became compromised in December 1960, and then became JMATE. Used for Cuban operations well into 1962. The P stands for pseudonym.
