James DiEugenio
In talking to Jim Lesar, he said I should check out the Washington Post Obit for the heroic Paul Schrade and compare it to the paper version of that publication. I cannot do that since none of the local libraries carry the Post. But I was wondering if anyone from back east here can do it. Paul Schrade was a mentor of mine in more than one way. I would be interested to see if. they trashed him in the paper edition.
Ron Bulman
I didn't know the library built on the site of the pantry at the Ambassador as part of the Robert F Kennedy community school was named after Paul. Paul Shrade, union ally wounded in 1968 Robert Kennedy slaying, dies at 97 - The Washington Post The online version didn't seem to trash him at all other than insisting Sirhan alone shot RFK. James DiEugenio
THen I might have to get the paper version. Thanks Ron. yes Paul was instrumental in the school being built there. He was really an exemplar for us all. His appearance at the parole board meeting was a significant moment.
