President Kennedy ( Bruce Greenwood ) loses it with Chairman of the JCS Maxwell Taylor when he finds out that General Powers ( Commander of the Stratigic Air Command ) has raised the US Nuclear Rediness to DEFCON-2, one step from Nuclear War, without his knowledge.
