By defintion, I believe, a felon is someone who has been convicted of a felony.

You can argue that Hoover committed felonies but from a strict semantic point, he was not a felon.

Semantics aside, I suppose you can cite by thread and post # any post where I have defended Hoover. I do not recall (could be wrong).
