T.G., this is most appreciated. You've made this easily accessible for everyone. Good job.

Thanks,

The index is indeed very helpful. Having just read William Harvey's Church Committee interview, it's clear that it can't be the basis for Joan Mellen's assertion that "William Harvey would testify under oath before the Church Committee that on at least two occasions there was White House approval and 'initiative' of the 'specific Rosselli operation' to murder Castro."

Mr. Gratz, I take my hat off to you on this matter. Anything that makes accessing government information easier is a public service...no matter WHAT the current administration may say on the matter.

Thanks, folks.

Remember I have about two boxes yet to go. I will add them by editing my first post.

One thing that is apparent is what a hectic schedule the Church Committee had in the summer of 1975. It looks like they had a witness almost every business day of the month of July.

When I finish this I think it would be interesting to chart the depositions chronologically and identify the attorney taking the deposition and the committee members who were present. The order in which the committee called the witnesses is also interesting.

Although there is certainly information within this which would assist in connecting-the-dots, there are also many other documents within the site worthwhile as well.

As example:

http://www.maryferrell.org/mffweb/archive/...bsPageId=254119

And, in event one will scroll down the names printed on the left side, none other than Mr. Charles Dunbar, Attorney, appears.

No big secret as to how the "finger" got pointed in the "INCA" direction.

Now that that "tidbit" is complete, it would also be remiss not to point out some of the additional information in this column, which includes:

1. Vice-President for Organizational Affairs--------------Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, & Smith.

2. Vice-President for Financial Affairs---------------------Hibernia Bank

3. Executive Vice-President--------------------------------Edward Scannell Butler

4. Chief of Security-----Robert R. Rainold----------------Past President, National Society of Past FBI Agents

5. President, Tulane University

and on, and on, and on, we go.

Tom

P.S. I would not completely "ignore" other names associated with this.
