Notwithstanding my suggestion that we all join Greg Burnam's site, I would also be willing to contribute to keeping the forum open.

Forums are far less popular with people today. For example, I posted my article, "Google, Bing and Operation Mockingbird. The CIA and Search-Engines" on this forum, Facebook and Twitter. On this forum it has been virtually ignored but I have had a great response on Facebook and Twitter.

This forum does serve and excellent purpose of being traceable as you state , Duncan.

I would like to take this time for thanking you, Mr. Simkin for providing a venue where actual research on the Kennedy assassination can be posted.

I had hoped other parts of the Education Forum would been utilized as well. There were times when I posted on the Music and History sections and had hoped this forum would be around for years to come.

I am willing to put my money where my mouth is, and repeat my pledge of financial support.

John, I typed “Google, Bing and Operation Mockingbird” into Google, and your recent posting on the Education Forum popped right up.

You also posted your article on Facebook and Twitter but Google did not archive these posts.

The value of posting an article on the Education Forum is that it is archived forever by Google. This is invaluable for research and writing.

Postings on Facebook and Twitter are transitory. Thus, there is value in posting an article in all three places for it to gain wide circulation but especially on the Education Forum if you want it to be remembered.

My primary interest is in the Music section.

My 1800-word rocknroll literary masterpiece -- "The Origin History of the term 'Hardcore Punk Rock'" -- is posted at both the Ed Forum and Deep Politics Forum.

The origination of a subversive, global art form maintained as a 3-decade-plus Deep Event...

Last I looked I have 1760 views on the EF, 954 views at the DPF.

The Education Forum is the Google champ.

John Simkin, thank you so much for providing this wonderful Forum for the past decade.

Count me in for a contribution!

I despise Facebook. When the Rapture comes all the people NOT on Facebook shall ascend to Heaven...I think that's written somewhere... :ice

Great idea!

Perhaps John could make Kris a member at this late date to facilitate?

Would such an arrangement prohibit any criticism of certain TrineDay authors?

I was thinking that maybe we could use a fundraising site such as "Go Fund Me" as a fundraising tool. We could set it up as an "All or Nothing" account (which is one of the options) and put an ending date, say, July 25, on it. It seems to me to be more democratic.

What does everyone think about this?

Great idea!

I'll follow you anywhere, Captain Beckett!
