It is probably not a relevant point but three of the suspects in the assassination of JFK came from Shreveport, Louisiana: Carl Jenkins, Edwin Collins and Jack Alston Crichton.

General Edwin Walker was also traveling by plane into Shreveport at the time of the assassination.

It is most assuredly "not" relevant that you are of the opinion that the three named individuals meet some mythological qualification which makes them suspects in the assassination of JFK , as your listing of such individuals would fill a few pages.

Nevertheless, this does not disqualify the potential significance of Shreveport, LA in the games which appear to have bearing on the assassination and events which may have lead to it as well a portions of the coverup.

Mr. PURDY - Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Mr. Chairman, the first line of inquiry will be related to Mr. McKeown's connections and contacts with Jack Ruby.

The man stated he had an option on a great number of Jeeps which were in Shreveport, Louisiana, and he desired to sell them to CASTRO at a very profitable figure.

His family members were pioneers in the settlement of Mississippi in 1798.

Touchstone opposed the Fair Play for Cuba movement, a communist front in which Lee Harvey Oswald had been active prior to 1963.

Disgruntled southern minorities were encouraged to relocate to Hyannisport, Massachusetts, the home of President Kennedy, or to other cities where northern leaders who supported civil rights legislation lived. Touchstone claimed that his "Reverse Freedom Ride" neutralized the "Fair Play for Cuba" activists.

Touchstone's obituary

Services for Touchstone were held on July 30, 1988, at the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport. The obituary does not give the location of burial. Nor does the obituary mention his past political activities.

Touchstone was survived by his wife, June A. McGehee Touchstone (born 1927), then of Tyler and a native of Homer in Claiborne Parish; his father, Sam F. Touchstone (1904-2002), a taxidermist in Haughton in Bossier Parish, who was living in Bossier City at the time of Touchstone's death; a son, David Mark Touchstone (born September 23, 1952), a business lawyer in Shreveport-Bossier City; two daughters, Lia Touchstone Tippit then of Rockwall, Texas, and Lauren Touchstone Jones then of Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters, three brothers, and ten grandchildren.

Shreveport, with its industrial port and expensive bridges, was "on the teat" (as the Bible puts it) of corrupt political organizations since the late 19th century, and in the 1930s housed a Standard Oil-friendly clique that sought to bring down the Huey Long gang that had supplanted them. Long referred to Louisiana's Standard Oil boosters as fascists. See Richard White, "Kingfish," 2006.

The oil industry connection is interesting.

December 4, 1963

At 2:06 P.M., November 22, 1963, Clerk Rhyan again called reporting agent, advising that at that time it was thought that possibly Jack Martin may have been the assassin of President Kennedy. She could furnish no information regarding Jack Martin's description or background, knowing only that his address was reported at Route 1, Goldonna, La., and that it was desired that discreet inquiries regarding Martin be conducted at Goldonna at once.

Reporting agent immediately telephoned SAIC John W. Rice, who happened to be on an official road trip to Shreveport and vicinity, in the northwest section of Louisiana approximately 325 miles from New Orleans, Goldonna being located in Katchitoches Parish in the northwest section of Louisiana.

SAIC Rice was located at the Office of Special Investigations, Barksdale Air Force Base, near Shreveport, and was informed of the above-mentioned request that discreet inquiries be conducted at once at Goldonna, La., regarding Jack Martin. It was explained to SAIC Rice that it was desired that the results of the investigation at Goldonna be telephoned to our Dallas office.

At approximately 9:30 P.M. on November 22, 1963, reporting agent received a telephone call at his residence from SAIC Rice, who was calling from Natchitoches, La. SAIC Rice stated that he had conducted discreet inquiries in Goldonna, La., regarding Jack Martin and had telephoned the results to SA Robert A. Steuart, Dallas; that during this telephone conversation SA Steuart furnished the following information regarding LEE HARVEY OSWALD, who had been arrested at Dallas for having fired the shots which killed President Kennedy.

Lee Harvey Oswald - White; male; date of birth 10-18-39 at New Orleans; 5'9"; 140 lbs, Social Security No. 433-54-3739; Chairman of FAIR PLAY FOR CUBA COMMITTEE, New Orleans. Filed change of address with Post Office Department, Dallas, on 5-15-63, to 4907 Magazine St., New Orleans, and on or about 11-2-63 rented a Post Office box in Dallas.

SAIC Rice stated that it was desired that an immediate investigation be started at New Orleans in an effort to develop as much information as possible regarding Lee Harvey Oswald.

Reporting agent immediately telephoned SA Adrian G. Vial at his residence, with request that he meet me at the office as soon as possible.

Accompanied by SA Vail, reporting agent called at the New Orleans Police Department Bureau of Identification, on the night of 11-22-63, where we checked their records on Lee Harvey Oswald, whose address was shown as 4907 Magazine St., New Orleans. The records here showed Oswald's FBI number as 327 925 D. His FBI fingerprint return showed that his fingerprints had been contributed by the Marine Corps on 10-24-56 as LEE HARVEY OSWALD - #1653230. The records also reflected that Oswald had been arrested by the New Orleans Police Department on 8-9-63 on a charge of Disturbing the Peace and Creating a Scene. The arrest was shown to have been made by Lt. Gaillot and other officers of the New Orleans Police Department's First District Police Station. Oswald's occupation was shown as "Mechnanic."

Gary;

Sometimes, one has to take an extremely close look at who is "pointing the gun" in order to resolve exactly who it should truly be pointed at.

1. Elmore Greaves/aka Elmore D. Greaves/aka Elmore Douglas Greaves, happens to have become the head of the "White Citizen's Council" of Jackson, MS.

One can add to this, becoming the head of the "White Protective and Legal Defense Fund" which collected funds utilized to defend Sam Bowers; publishing a book in 1963 entifled"THE BLACKAMOOR OF OXFORD" [/u] , as well as publisher of the later right wing "Southern Review".

http://www.archive.org/stream/activitiesof...03unit_djvu.txt

"In March 1965, Imperial Wizard Bowers reported at a State cabinet

meeting that the White Christian Protective and Legal Defense Fund

would be a permanent organization not only to raise funds for the

Philadelphia defendants, but also for the defense of any Klansman

accused of committing racial violence. "

Now, as to Ned Touchstone, Greaves and Touchstone knew each other personally, and Greaves even travelled to Shreveport and invited Touchstone to come and give a speech in Jackson, MS.

Therefore, if one looks back "over the barrel" of what is being pointed, they may be suprised at their findings.

Plus, one should recall (as long ago posted) that Robert Oswald (cousin of LHO), attorney from Pascagoula, MS, was attorney for the White Citizen's Council of Mississippi out of Greenwood, MS. Which was actually the "founding father" of all of the White Citizen's Councils, too include those formed in Louisiana.

And then there's JBG

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xo18f_chu...ny-b-goode_blog

Deep down in Louisiana close the New Orleans

Way back up in the woods among the evergreens

There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood

Where lived a country boy named Johnny B Good

Who never ever learned to read or write so well

But he could play the guitar just like ringin a bell

Chorus:

Go, go, go jonny go go

go johnny go go

go johnny go go

go johnny go go

johnny be good

He used to carry his guitar in a gunny sack

Or sit beneath the tree by the railroad track

Oh an engineer could see him sitting in the shade

Strummin' to the rhythm that the drivers made

People passing by they'd stop and say

Oh my but that little country boy can play

Chorus

His mother told him some day you will be a man

And you will be the leader of a big old band

Many people coming from miles around

And hear you play your music till the sun goes down

Maybe someday your name gonna be in light

Sayin' Jonny be good tonight

Wierd. That is actually relevant given the experience of Blacks in the South.

The song is loosely autobiographical and Chuck Berry had to (also) change the original lyrics early on from '...colored boy...' to '...country boy...' to make it palatable to a white dominated music industry :

Deep down in Louisiana close the New Orleans

Way back up in the woods among the evergreens

There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood

Where lived a colored boy named Johnny B Goode

Who never ever learned to read or write so well

But he could play the guitar just like ringin a bell

Chorus

He used to carry his guitar in a gunny sack

Or sit beneath the tree by the railroad track

Oh an engineer could see him sitting in the shade

Chorus

His mother told him some day you will be a man

And you will be the leader of a big old band

Many people coming from miles around

And hear you play your music till the sun goes down

Maybe someday your name gonna be in light sayin' :

"Johnny B Goode tonight"

Chorus

Hey John,

I wasn't just trying to be funny.

I think there's something to this geo-inquisitive

Louisiana thing that John Simkin first noticed.

Shreveport is more cajun zydico than rock & roll.

I'm sure Geno Delafose and the Eunice Playboys played at

the Silver Slipper.

Here's a great article about the music of that area by Roger Wood.

http://ecommons.txstate.edu/cgi/viewconten...mp;context=jtmh

I've found some other references to the Silver Slipper, in Eunice, as being at Lakeview Park?

A VL Deviller may have been the owner. Jimmy D says Mac Manuel was the manager who identified the two men who were with Rose Cheramie as being Sergio Aracha Smith and "Osanto," possibly Emilo Santana Galindo. According to Mary Ferrell, Emilo Santana worked on a monthly retainer at JMWAVE as a guide for Cuban infiltration teams from Dec. 60 until 15 October, 1963 when he "was terminated because the ratline developed by the team became inoperable due to occupation of the target area by Soviet technicians." And Lying about operational matters.

Rose Charamie's home is listed as being Thibodeaux, La.

Found on Rt.190, near Eunice, and taken to State Hospital at Jackson.

Jack Martin - Goldonna, La.

I'm looking at these incidents more closely in order to try to figure out why John W. Rice, (the Secret Service Special Agent in Charge of the New Orleans Office), was on official business at the Special Investigations Office at Barksdale AFB at the time of the assassination.

Could he have heard of Rose Cheramie's predictions of the assassination and was investigating? If not, what WAS he doing so far away from New Orleans on official business? Chasing counterfitters? I don't think so.

Shreveport is on the road to Dallas from New Orleans or Florida.

It would be nice if somebody could put some markers on a map of all these towns in Louisiana so we could see where they are.

There is some excellent material there, William, Thank you.

Also the mapping is an excellent idea IMO.

(-to expand on the idea. It would be interesting to have a 4 dimensional map too. say the location of persons on a map per every 12 or so hours from perhaps 1962 early to mid 1964 (or even 1960 to 1965) with, indexed according to color or and shape/character, each POI marked and then presented as a slow gif (that would be about 2100 frames to perhaps double (or more if extra frames are needed at particular instances (and added to over time) then one could have an interesting thing to look at for any patterns of interest and look at why did so and so etc all do that at that particular time, and eventually add another tool to the research)). I'd consider perhaps even a map/movie or whatever could cover a much larger area as well. One would also have to consider the patterns that should be there but are not, and so on.

I don't mean to turn this into a diversion, and I don't think it's worth starting another topic when there are so many excellent ones (IMO) going that need to stay on page one as long as possible, so I'll just succinctly state this growing conviction that what BK has proposed ties in with a concept that has been flickering in and out of my mind for some time. : A time dimension added to a mapping of persons of interest into a visual display of persons movements over time irrespectivelly of what theory they tie in to and proposed by whoever because that initself will reveal things while allowing EVEYONE to add persons and locations and perhaps someone will get it all right, and then a hyperlinked pdf to each movie frame where each persons logo or whatever that identifies them in this movement mapping so one can click on that logo and get the latest up to date confirmed report and descripion of events and one can then enter that event into the search function and find all others related to that and check event description, reconfigure the movie to highlight them and in this way, study one by one, without discrimination, all possible ideas.

I think, (in fact I'm bloody certain it can be done), that this is achievable, and could even be the very tool that on modern computers, a computer program, by instituting random word highlights track all sorts of patterns and apply various algorithms to this under simple logic formulae paradigms, will find the very solution everyone is so beautifully dedicated to, the solution.

Just click enter and wait... (well maybe)
