This is a good scenario and explains alot.

The various witnesses place people other than Oswald and a police car, and a man

confirming the murder at the site of tippits death.

Tippetts murder was part of the frame.

It made Oswald "guilty" of the murder, if the evidence wasn't strong for Kennedy, the cumulative

evidence of both were more convincing.

WHy was Tippett killed?

He may have tried to prevent the murder of JFK, the escape of Lee Oswald, or both.

We really don't know where he was at 12.30 do we?

He was looking for someone (Oswald? Roscoe White?) and the spare uniform points to the whole

"two cops drive out to Redbird airfield and David Ferrie flies one of them to Mexico" scenario.

I believe the Tippit murder plays a bigger role in the case than many others do. Most are satisfied that he was killed by Oswald in an act of self defence. If you look at the scene and especially the way Tippit was killed it does not match any scenario of a person acting in self defence by shooting his way out. I’ve been reading a lot about modern profiling and it would be interesting if a professional profiler would analyse the killing of Tippit. I doubt very much that he would come to the same conclusion that the killing was the act of someone who was trying to avoid arrest. A shoot at almost point blank to Tippit’s temple would hardly fit a fugitive scenario.

Today there was an article in a Swiss newspaper that speculated about the health of the Maximo Leader Fidel Castro, stating that according to a CIA report (?) Castro suffers from Parkinson-Syndrome at the very last stage and as “The Miami Herald” writes, the US-Government and members of the Senate were informed about Castro’s serious health condition.

I think the dead of Castro will not only change the Cuban Government it will also change the political system. Could this maybe become an opportunity for researchers getting access to Cuban documents concerning the time JFK was assassinated?

Could finally Castro’s death become a threat for those who still try to hide themselves and the truth as well?

On the other hand what are the chances that a new Cuba would agree to release any documents (if existing) concerning Kennedy’s assassination when good relations to its neighbours become essential to successfully develop the country and to fight poverty?

I can't disagree more. Oswald's picture was plastered in the newspaper on November 23, 1963, and if Tppit was even mentioned, he was a footnote.

The claim that a Communist shot Kennedy was the big story.

And don't forget, Nixon called Hoover pretending that he wanted to learn about the assassination and Hoover told him that a Communist had killed Kennedy.

I think Tippit got in the way of the plot to implicate the "Communist".

Of course was LHO picture in every newspaper on November 23, he just shot the President one day ago and everybody wanted to know who this guy was. The fact that Oswald killed a cop was, as you mentioned, a footnote but used to show what a dangerous person he was and that he would not hesitate using a weapon if necessary. I’m no lawyer so I might get this completely wrong but IMO without the Tippit killing the case against Oswald was not very strong.

A/Nobody saw him firing the rifle, those who claimed they did weren’t very credible. (Brennan)

B/They had the Carcano rifle that was traced back to Oswald but no fingerprints on it.

C/No paraffin was found on Oswald's face which would have not only shown he had recently fired a rifle but comparison analysis of the unburned and partially burned powder residue would have established a forensic connection between the man and the rifle.

D/The timeline between the last shot and the encounter with DPD Marion Baker in which Oswald

looked calm would rather speak for his innocence than his guilt.

I think Tippit got in the way of the plot to implicate the "Communist".

What is your theory to that? Did he get in the way by coincidence or as a part of his role in the plot?

I think it does history (let alone christianity) a GREAT disservice to portray the Nazis as christians, It's like saying Bush is a christian? Sure they came from a country with lutheran traditions, but when questioned about theifr faith, roughly half of gewrman POW's in britain put down their religion as 'Nature' and the other half "Hitler'.

I really do wonder why, when concerning history, most people only think back to the 2nd WW. History has no limits concerning the past but it seem to be very popular to think of the 2WW as the ultimate evil. Can't you think of any other crime against humanity? It's my speculation that Oswald had no intention of actually getting a visa to Cuba. Although Oswald was in Mexico City, an imposter was used in the attempt to get the visa. This is known not just from the photos of someone who isn't Oswald, but the statements of embassy personnel. Now why would someone other than a criminal who wanted to get a visa send an imposter to get it? What chance is there of succeeding in such a manner? Perhaps it's easy, perhaps foreign embassies are easily duped by imposters, but I still don't see the point in Oswald's case if it was a sincere attempt to get a visa.

This was another case of an Oswald imposter creating an incident, being publicly obnoxious in order to be remembered by the people he was dealing with. More importantly for the conspirators, it established for the record that Oswald was in contact with Castro Cubans in Mexico City. Oswald did not have to go to Cuba to be in cahoots with Castro when he returned from Mexico.

Considering Robert Tannenbaum is credible and IMO he is, the question why the picture does not show Oswald has been answered by Tannenbaum, it was simply due to a mistake.

Here his statement during the hearing in LA.

Coming again from the office of Frank Hogan, which from my experience was an apolitical meritocracy, I was stunned with that kind of revelation. It didn't --- that was, you know, one of many. I was also stunned and sadly disappointed when David Phillips gave testimony before the Committee in Executive Session and in fact lied to the Committee. And so they didn't have the real photograph.

Religion has always been an emotional topic and therefore I hope my view will not offend members. It is only my personal reflection (raised as a catholic) and I do accept people no matter what they believe as long as my freedom not to believe is not questioned.

I’ was born in a very small village in the mountains and my mother went to church every time the bells called them in. The priest was a respected man and my mother always looked up to him as she would to the doctor. Religion was a big part in family life and my mother told me a lot about the bible and I was fascinated by the genesis story. The whole thing collapsed when I was twelve and my father died. The funeral (especially the catholic ones) held in the church with the entire population of the village present, created a depressing atmosphere that was filled with melancholic songs and many were crying. Even it was a shock for me I was quite perplex about the situation because I believed that my dad went to heaven now as I was always told by my mother and I could not understand why everybody was so sad even it was clear for my family that it must have been a relief for my father to die (lung cancer), what I of course didn’t realise that very moment. After my fathers dead, my mother had a quite a difficult time for about two years were she also had to find work to get some food on the table. Her believe never seemed to lighten her up or giving her some relief. So the believe and what I was being told seemed only to work as long as your not personally involved and my naive conclusion that my dad must be happy now was not appreciated.

Today I believe that religion is one of the oldest if not the oldest form of ultimate power, designed to control people mostly by fear (past) and disguised by pretending to help and to care for the poor (today). Billions are spent every year to keep and preserve all the pomp and gorgeousness that was build over the centuries by oppressing the uneducated and the poor. Education was a long time withheld and science had to follow the rules of religion in order to prevent its power. By loosing more and more support every year, genesis, hell and paradise are not enough anymore to answer critical questions, to keep their business running the church is trying to get a modern touch by picking up once again one of their favourite issues, sexuality. (Marketing rule = sex sells).What a laugh and what a feigning farce after the perversion within the church that has been uncovered in the last years. So if they can’t handle sexuality why should we accept their rules or advices and why should they be entitled? Those who want us to believe that Maria became pregnant by the Holy Spirit ,run a campaign against books like The DaVinci Code and still are against equal rights. This standard of morality was not needed for thousands of years nevertheless our species became very successful (maybe too successful?).

Mankind had sex for thousands of years without the blessing and the sacraments of marriage because it is our natural instinct as mammals and always will be. Even if church now tries to fight evolution and some schools (in the USA) have banned Darwin, instincts can not be erased by some vague morality praised by some unworldly theologians.

That’s why IMO a government should not support something that is completely based on fiction and belief and not on facts or evidence and therefore force a society to obey rules that are against modern and scientific attainments. Otherwise astrology could or must be considered as well.

Do you really believe, that a military or police background is the best solution for such a position, I doubt that very much. I would understand if Bush would make such a statement but you? What about looking around a little, maybe even check with other countries that are facing the same problems sometimes and may have more experience, the Netherlands for example. IMO an engineering background would be a much more appropriate background to fill the top position of FEMA.

What I personally do not understand is the disability handling this kind of natural disasters like hurricanes in a more forward-thinking way. Look at the way the power supply in Florida is solved.

They still put posts up every year and every year these posts get knocked down, people have no power what means no TV, no information, no air-condition, no fridge and so on. That’s the way we had our power supply organized 25 years ago, today all the power lines as well as the telephone wires are put 3 feet in the ground, so avalanches, floods, knocked down trees etc. do not affect the power supply at all. But of course we do not put military or police people into agencies that handle such a matter.

I've read this stories as well, the problem is that, as Pat mentioned there are many pages in italien but also quite a few in german. My italen is not that good that I'm able to understand everything but I'm working on a overview to this subject. Just to give you some major issues, what has to be considerted in the Mattei case:

1) There is/was no new investigation focused on Mattei's death. All the latest information were brought up through the investigation concerning the death of Aldo Moro 1991.

2) There is evidence that the explosive was put behind the plan's dashboard and was connected with its landing gear. The explosive itself was stolen from one of the "Gladio" bunkers. IMO one also has to studie Gladio to find some answers.

3) There have been to identically planes owned by ENI. Both planes were stationed in Sicily. the other one was shortly afterwards sold to the States.

4) The wrechage has been destroyed within a few days.

5)The CIA wrote a report about the crash but it is still withheld for "National Security" reasons.

As I said I'll provide a much more detailed overview when finished my study on the availabel material.

I am getting the same problem. I will try to find out what the problem is. I suspect it is to do with the Google ads that the site carries. In my case it is only a problem with Internet Explorer. With Mozilla the ads do not show up at all.

Since this morning the forum web side seems to cause me some problems, I wonder if any of you face similar changes. I did check with other sides I’m using but this one seems the only one. The problems are

A) It says right under the title bar just above the google search “you don’t have the required right to display this web page” .

B)to go back or forward within the topics, I have to “double-click” and the response seems to be slower than usual.

I would appreciate some answers.

I just want to be sure that it is

1) only my pc causing the problem (so I have to figure out) or

2) in case other members have experienced the same John maybe can check with the server.
