At an opening-night reception Friday at Brooks' Montecito Gallery, Newell Clark will use high-speed digital video technology to argue that someone on the fabled grassy knoll and not Oswald, who authorities determined was staked out in the Texas School Book Depository, took the life of the nation's 35th president.... ... To test his theory, Mr. Clark took some cantaloupes wrapped in duct tape to the Winchester Canyon Gun Club on West Camino Cielo and started shooting. An $80,000 camera from Vision Research Co. in New Jersey allowed him to capture the action at 150,000 frames per second -- a feat unheard of when Abraham Zapruder used an 8mm camera to make a home movie of the assassination, the only known footage of the president before, during and after the shooting. After comparing the images of flying melon fragments to eyewitness accounts of the assassination, Mr. Clark came to the conclusion that the government failed in the Kennedy investigation. Your photo gives you a mysterious look, so it very appropriate for a subject like the JFK assassination. If I remember correctly, the battery of your cell phone died during the interview you gave. I hope you'll find a radio or tv station or newspaper that will carry some story about the JFK assassination. When I thought who could make a good show on radio, the first name that came up in my mind was Bill Miller!

According to Gary Mack, this photo was probably a Fort Worth Press photo. From Gary Mack: QUOTE According to the caption, the photo was transmitted by UPI, which means it is NOT and AP picture. So I'll return to my first note, which is that it was probably a Fort Worth Press photo. The DAP designation in the caption may identify it as coming from the Dallas UPI office and the P would be the Fort Worth Press designation. I first saw the photo in the 11/22 or 11/23 Fort Worth Press and, as best I can remember, it said something like "Staff photo." UNQUOTE

If my memory is good, it is not always, Mark Lane had lunch with RFK and others not a long time before RFK got assassinated. The JFK assassination subject came up without Lane mentionning it first, I think RFK did. If, again, I recall correctly, RFK wanted to wait to become president before he investigates the assassination of his brother. Can someone confirm that? Denis

One my favourite is Robert Groden's The Killing Of A President and Gary Shaw's Cover-Up because of their photos. Another one is David Lifton's Best Evidence, so easy to read even if it is about medical stuff. A book written by Lee Harvey Oswald would have extremely interesting if he had stayed alive... Denis

I think the man seen with RHO in photo posted by Jack White is a better match than Jim Braden. I have corresponded with Braden's attorney who represented him during the HSCA investigation. I guess it is time for me to email him again! I live in Toronto. I had got interested in the JFK assassination when I was 13 (in 1977) after seeing a video clip showing Ruby shooting down Oswald. I did not read too much about the subject until I put my hand on Mark Lane's Rush To Judgment in 1985. Through the years I have been ordering documents from NARA, bought lots of videos, audio cassettes, contacted JFK assassination-related characters looking for new information.
