  1. It seems that I read somewhere that Dave Powers went to his grave with film of the shooting. If I remember correctly, he said that he would not put the Kennedy family through the added nightmare of seeing what was on his film. Afterall, he and JFK were very close friends as well.

  2. I have just recently acquired a copy of Cyril Wecht's CAUSE OF DEATH, and seem to find proof that Sirhan could not have fired the fatal shot. Mr Karl Uecker, the hotel Maitre d, said that he had hold of both RFK and Ethel Kennedy as they moved through the kitchen. Mr Uecker said he saw Sirhan and thought that he was a houseman, an employee of the hotel. He said that the Kennedys were one step behind him and that Sirhan was ALWAYS in front of him, in fact he said that after the shooting started, he instinctively jumped FORWARD and grabbed the man with the gun by the neck. He further stated that he was between the two of them (RFK and Sirhan) the entire time, and that his eyes were on Sirhan the whole time, saying that Sirhan's gun never got closer to Senator Kennedy than a couple of feet. Some people have speculated that RFK was shoved by the crowd directly into Sirhan. This was physically impossible, IMO based on what Mr Uecker stated.

  3. Hello All. In the event that some may have missed the news, it should be mentioned that one of the subjects of this particular posting, former British Secretary of State of War, John Profumo died today at the age of 91. Proof positive that time waits on no one .

  4. Keeler went on to write a book, called "The Truth at Last." She is still living.

    http://www.dougiethompson.com/images/kristine-keeler4.jpg

For the benfit of Ron Ecker's research, see the link below for more photos of this beautiful chair with Keeler and Joanne Whalley, who played Keeler in the movie. The movie Scandal is brilliant. I was thirteen when the Keeler Scandal broke in England and I read all about it in the News of The World. After that the word sex always meant Christine Keeler. I went to see the movie Scandal on the day it opened, and now sex means Joanne Whalley. John Hurt gives one of his best performances as Stephen Ward, and now I want to rent the movie again.

    http://images.google.com/images?q=%22chris...en&start=0&sa=N

I think you will agree that Christine Keeler would make more money modelling than Paris Hilton does, if the Christine of these photos were to hit the scene today. Sadly for her, she was ahead of her time.

Raymond, People who do not do spend time in the research community cannot imagine the rewards !!!

  5. Can you imagine! Such an horrific event had just occurred, and business as usual ( Surreal ). Note the little boy in the center seems to be in tears. The people in the vehicles probably have no idea that a history altering event played out just prior t their arriving there at DP ( not to mention, as Jack pointed out, driving through a crime scene). Bullet fragments stuck in tire treads? Do we attribute this to confusion on the part of the DPD, or in fact to "Who's minding the Store."

  6. A great deal of Myth had built up around Pizarros death. Late last century an accidental discovery of bones eanbled forensic anthropologists to prove a contemporary account of the assassination. Nevertheless the supertstitions remain strong.

Josef Mengele was able to remain undiscovered even though a number of individuals knew his whereabouts. Again post mortem forensic anthropology were necessary to positively ID.

A US president suspected of being assassinated by arsenic poisoning was finally laid to rest 100 years after the fact. Exhumation and examination by forensi anthropologists showed: No arsenic.

Possibly only an exhumation order will provide the break needed in the Kennedy case. His skull and bones are the one record of the assassination that has been kept under close watch since his burial. It should be easy to establish id of all fragments, and a careful reconstruction and new xrays etc to establish metallic fragents etc could once and for all answer key questions which should narrow the field of conspirators considerably.

John, Would it require the Kennedy's permission to exhume the prisident's body? Throughout the WC period, it was often said things were done a certain way so as not to offend or to protect the family. But, it won't happen anyway! (too much could be learned)

  7. Cesar gave an interview in 1987 or so where he admittted that he had his gun out and was immediately behind Robert Kennedy at the time of the shooting. This ties in with the wounds.

I always found it strange that Cesar lived to to tell this and that nothing has come of this information. Of course Cesar also said he did NOT fire his weapon.

    Dawn

Dawn, you mentioned that Cesar "admitted" having his gun out. If I am remembering correctly, the LAPD ( in 1968) said that no guns were drawn. Do you know if this was the case? I am one who has always thought that this was in fact a "LONE NUT", but never could fit it into my thinking just how Sirhan could have possibly known that RFK would pass through that kitchen area. Also, any idea how this guy got into that closet without an employee not seeing him? Plus,I assume that he would have been waiting for some time for the Senator to pass in front of him, why was he not detectedRegards,

  8. In my Southern hometown in the early 1960s, the balcony of the theater was for blacks. The downstairs was for whites only. I don't know if this was common practice throughout the segregated South, or if most towns simply had white theaters and black theaters. Does anyone know if the Texas Theater balcony would have been for black customers? This could be significant in terms of where Oswald or any other white man might be expected to go sit in the theater, depending on whether he was there to meet a contact (as has been commonly assumed) or whether he was looking for a good place to hide.

    Ron

Could this explain the reason that Walthers used the expression "white" man at the steps to the balcony?

  9. Three months before George H. W. Bush announced that he was a candidate for the Senate in Texas, his father, former Senator Prescott Bush, made a tremendous contribution to the effort to have Goldwater become the Republican nominee for President in 1964.

On June 8, 1963, an Associated Press story carried by the Washington Post said: “Former United States Senator Prescott Bush has denounced the recent marriage of New York Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller and said he does not think Rockefeller is fit to be President.”

“‘Have we come to the point in our life as a nation,’ Bush asked, ‘where the Governor of a great state, one who perhaps aspires to the nomination for President of the United States, can desert a good wife, mother of his grown children, divorce her, then persuade a young mother of four youngsters to abandon her husband and their four children and marry the Governor?’”

“Have we come to the point where one of the two great political parties will confer upon such a one its highest honor and greatest responsibility? I venture to hope not.”

This vitriolic denunciation of a “Governor” who was “not fit to be President” sounded like a campaign speech but seemed remarkably out of place, because Prescott Bush said all of this at the commencement exercises of Rosemary Hall, an exclusive girls’ school in Connecticut, where “Bush spoke on ‘shifting standards of behavior.’”

To top it off, when he gave the speech, he solicited support for his view.

“Bush said that whether Rockefeller’s actions are approved will depend on educators, opinion makers, churches and others, and on ‘whether our people are ready to say phooey to the sanctity of the American family.’”

As if that wasn’t enough, one week later Bush made what little support he received public, and he tried to accentuate the significance of it.

“Former Senator Prescott Bush says he has received telegrams and letters showing ‘overwhelming approval’ of his criticism . . . The former lawmaker said that out of about 10 letters and telegrams ‘only two expressed opposition to my views and all the rest were favorable.’ He added that he received mail from New York, Minnesota, Indiana and other Midwestern states.” (10 letters? Overwhelming approval?)

On October 24, 1963, Washington Post columnists Evans and Novak devoted their column to a “Goldwater surge” in Connecticut, and cited that “the odds soared against Rockefeller after his remarriage and after former Republican Senator Prescott Bush castigated him as unfit to carry the banner.”

Citing that Connecticut “nestles in the center of the Party’s eastern liberal heartland,” they quoted one liberal Republican there as saying, “The Goldwater crowd has a horse off and running with lots of money riding on the nose. We don’t even have a horse.” They also speculated “the odds are now at least even that Senator Barry Goldwater, conservative idol from far-off Arizona, may wrap up Connecticut’s sixteen votes at the San Francisco convention next summer.”

What makes Prescott Bush’s criticism even more interesting is the fact that the New York Times Index for 1963 listed more than thirty references under the subheading “marriage” of Nelson A. Rockefeller, but they show that Prescott Bush was the only U.S. politician to criticize it.

Members of the clergy also criticized it, and most interestingly, a reference on November 7, 1963, said, “Premier Khrushchev, in apparent reference to the Governor, scores ‘parasitic capitalists’ who ‘live life of luxury, drinking, carousing or changing wives.’” This was 15 days before his KGB officers in the CIA assassinated President Kennedy in an effort to get Barry Goldwater elected President of the United States.

A Washington Post article on November 21, 1963, mentioned “Mrs. Rockefeller” and said her “marriage to the Governor on the heels of divorces by both brought some protests within Republican ranks.”

“Some protests within Republican ranks” is another reflection of how unique Prescott Bush’s vituperative attack was.

On November 21, 1963, the Washington Post reported that “Senator Thruston Morton, chairman of the Republican Senate Campaign Committee, said Senator Barry Goldwater is far ahead in the running for the Republican presidential nomination,” and he “said he doesn’t know where Nelson A. Rockefeller can count on delegate votes outside of New York.”

This article, on the eve of President Kennedy’s assassination, clearly shows that the effect of Bush’s widely reported attack reverberated nationally. It is hard to imagine that anyone but stalwart Rockefeller supporters would continue to think Rockefeller should be President after Prescott Bush portrayed him in such a despicable light. Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev referring to the wealthy Rockefeller as a parasitic capitalist, who lives a life of luxury, drinking, carousing, and changing wives, certainly reinforced Bush’s bitter denunciation of a man who was “not fit to be President.”

The fact is, a Gallup poll back in January of 1963 had Rockefeller well ahead of Goldwater, with 46% of Republican voters who would like to see Rockefeller nominated as the GOP candidate, and only 26% for Goldwater.

Seeing as how Kennedy was killed as part of a two-pronged assassination plan to have Goldwater elected in 1964, a plan that failed to come to fruition when they failed to assassinate President Johnson on October 31, 1964, a good question would be:

How hard was it to find a young mother who would seduce and marry the wealthy fifty-five-year-old Rockefeller, thus assuring that Goldwater would be the Republican nominee in 2004.

Tony, I would greatly appreciate some more information on the attempted assassination of LBJ.

  10. As it turned out, someone got rid of Mac anyway, but not before he enjoyed a few more years of life.

Ya, another one of those one car "accidents" that leave you always wondering....

I wonder just how much RFK HAD learned by the time he too was assassinated.

When I met Kennedy cousin Kerry McCarthy in Dallas in 97 I asked her if the family

read on this case, especially John Jr and she told me that he did.

Poor Ted, what he must know....(And I do believe he knows a lot and can do zero).

    Dawn

Dawn, when Jackie said that they were killing Kennedys, she was dead on (pardon the pun). Sometime back, I started a post on what Ted might know and what he could do, and the response from fellow members was as you just indicated---nothing ! I do wish that he would pen a book on what he knows. He has been through a lifetime of miseries that nobody would wish on anyone. But, with some of the same people and/or their desicples still around, I'm sure he feels he must protect the family

  11. Mark;

Although fully aware that in all probability you (& most others) will neither accept nor believe it, for the record:

    1. There was only ONE shooter.

    2. Despite what many will state to the contrary, the 6.5mm Carcano Rifle (in relatively good condition), coupled with the WCC 6.5mm ammo, is a deadly combination.

Accuracy wise, the US Army Ballistics Research Laboratory compared the accuracy as being equivelant to our current US military weapons.

Armed with "match" quality weapons, the Italian Olympics Team had always done quite well and ranked quite high in Olympics Competition, with this weapon.

    3. The planning was in fact quite thorough, which included the equi-distant yellow marks painted onto the curb of Elm Street through the "Kill Zone". Which, any shooter would easily recognize as "Range Markers".

Many will attempt to "Sell" this off as some sort of traffic control marking which was utilized by the Dallas Street Department.

Sounds good! However, since these yellow marks were painted only on the downrange & visible (from the TSDB) side of Elm St, and were exactly in the kill zone, and there were no other similar stripes painted onto the curbs of any other streets anywhere in the vicinity, then the "Traffic Control" scenario is a no-floater.

One could add to this the unconfirmed rumor that (I believe it was Jean Hill) got some of this yellow paint on her shoe, from it's being so freshly painted, and the purpose of these yellow marks becomes even more evident.

    4. Were we to attempt to "stuff" all three shots fired in to the WC scenario with the Z-312/313 head shot being the Last/Final shot of the three, then the shooting sequence would obviously have to be rushed.

In that regard, exactly why would anyone believe much of anything as stated by the WC?

The Z-312/313 head shot being the SECOND shot, thereby gave the shooter, approximately 5.8 seconds from first shot to second shot.--------Run that one by your "Experts" and see how difficult they claim it is.

Thereafter, the THIRD/LAST/FINAL shot came about, just about as fast as the weapon could be operated, which is of course in the 2.3 (+/-) interval, for a total shooting time of approximately 8.1 to 8.4 seconds.

Give that data to any true "shooter", and you may find that all of the garbage relative to the impossibility of the shots will go back into the garbage can.

In conclusion, anyone who attempts to resolve the issues by searching for the mythical "multiple assassin", will, if age permits, be here for another 40 + years.

The shooting sequence was not difficult, even without the range markers/aka yellow stripes.

The weapon and ammo were entirely capable of the accuracy which it achieved, which by the way was a relatively short distance.

The "target" in moving away from the shooter, virtually guaranteed a "hit", however one must also note that the second shot/aka Z-312/313 shot to the Cowlick area of the back of the head almost went high.

Since you claim to not be a "shooter", then might I recommend that you read up on the works of those such as Ayoob Massad in "AMERICAN HANDGUNNER" magazine.

And, even the resident Chiropractor on the John McAdams site, with relatively little experience, has managed to get off three shots in the 5.8 to 5.9 second time of the WC scenario.

So, would the shooting sequence, as presented by the WC be somewhat difficult?------Yes

Exactly why was it that you believed this BS in the first place?

As a final comment, might I recommend the 10 pages of the WC "circular reasoning" which deals with the "SHOT THAT MISSED", when in fact, other than the fragment strike on the curbe (Tague), there is no indication of any shot having missed.

The "Magic Bullet" did not miss.----Neither is it CE399, as CE399 has not pulled a disappearing act.

    Tom

Tom. are you of the belief that the shooter, firing the MC did not use the scope. If the scope were not necessary, and I do not believe it was, then that would remove all the discussions about the fact that shims (2 or 3 ??) had to be placed under it. Not to mention, the shooter having to relocate his target, each time, through said scope. I have stood on the "X" in Elm St., and feel personally, that a scope from the TSBD would more likely result in a miss, due to improper adjustments necessary for calculating distance. But, please note that this is only the opinion of an occasional deer hunter, certainly no expert !

  12. As long as crap is being thrown at the wall without sensibly investigating the other assassination images ... how about it being a bottle of "IDIOT JUICE" and Duncan has drank the whole thing!

Jack White had the best Moorman print when he and Gary Mack worked on the Badge Man images - why not ask him what his print shows instead of playing games with inferior images such as the one posted here?

Also, how many men with pop bottles can be seen in the Willis and Betzner photos?

    Bill Miller

    JFK assassination researcher/investigator

I was wondering when you would appear from your darkened cave.

Once more you are spewing out unprovoked insults and ignorant crappy assertions based on your "Miller knows it all" theory which is as accurate as Oswalds Carcano.

You obviously do not keep up to date with Jack's beliefs on the Moorman polaroid.Let me get you up to date.He thinks it has been altered in some areas. If you want to know his full opinion, ask him yourself,i'm not your babysitter.

You ask how many pop bottles can be seen in Willis and Betzner...What a STUPID question.I'm not even going to bother answering that as it is completely irrelevant,it's like asking how may Badgemen are seen in Willis and Betzner...geeeeeez.

It appears to me from this thread that the majority in general are in favour of the Coke Bottle man although some say it appears he may be holding a camera or binoculars......live with it and go have a Coke to let that overactive hot wind blowing mouth of yours cool down.....unless you're still on the Jack Daniels of course.....hic

Duncan.....Bills hero and photograhic interpretation advisor :news

Duncan...you are correct that I no longer believe the Moorman polaroid

is entirely genuine. For years for various reasons I believed it escaped

the govt dragnet. I now believe, for various reasons, that the Moorman

is altered in the extreme right edge to make changes in the persons

on the pedestal. Be wary in dealing with "Bill Miller/Larry Peters"; he is

not necessarily all that he seems.

    Jack

Jack, this is in response to your scan versus the "drum" scan. I have never seen Badgeman depicted so clearly. I must have always only seen the "drum" scan, thus, have questioned the interpretations. If this enhancement can be duplicated by anyone( obviously, I mean, anyone with the proper equipment), then, I can see no argument about a shooter from the front. This seems, to me, at least to answer the perverbial question, "Where's the beef". It is right there in front of us.

    Terry

  13. As a member of the newly appointed "Abbot & Costello team presentation of "WHO'S ON FIRST"/aka the Warren Commission, Gerry Ford should have kept his mouth shut.

Not unlike the remainder of us, Mr. Ford is a creature of habit. As such, he made numerous mistakes during the WC questioning of witnesses.

Many of these mistakes point directly to knowledge of events, which have yet to be fully examined and revealed.

Others, point directly to the means and methods of the WC in obfuscation of the facts and evidence.

And although Mr. Ford no doubt is of the opinion that he was "really slick" in his actions, they actually rate right up there with the Pink Elephant in the Wal-Mart parking lot in lack of being obvioius.

And in that regard, one can be assured that there is a very close connection between Gerald Ford's actions in the WC, and his later actions in giving a pardon to RMN.

One could state that RMN played his "hole" card on that one.

Or perhaps one should call it a "mole" card!

Thomas, How about President Ford's statement about moving the back wound location on the autopsy sheet upwards 4-5 inches to merely correct an error (on who's part). Speaking of pink elephants!

  14. John, as you know, we all watched the History Channel special, "The Men Who Killed Kennedy". Then we all watched as it was removed, never to be seen again. The argument for it's removal: that it was so insulting to the Johnson memory and absolutely no merit to the claims. Do we have only Billie Sol Estes left to validate any of this? Now that you have started the postings on the people supposedly ordered killed by Johnson, I hope that someone else can come forward to add credibility to these claims. Although, as I have stated elsewhere, everyone that could've had any association with any of this is dead or soon will be. (Time is unrelenting)

  15. John Douglas Kinser was the owner of a miniature golf course in Austin, Texas. He was also having an affair with Josefa Johnson, the sister of Lyndon B. Johnson. Josefa was also having a relationship with Mac Wallace, who worked for Johnson at the Department of Agriculture.

According to Barr McClellan, the author of "Blood, Money & Power: How LBJ Killed JFK", Kinser asked Josefa if she could arrange for her brother to loan him some money. Johnson interpreted this as a blackmail threat (Josefa had told Kinser about some of her brother's corrupt activities).

On 22nd October, 1951, Mac Wallace went to Kinser's miniature golf course. After finding Kinser in his golf shop, he shot him several times before escaping in his station wagon. A customer at the golf course had heard the shooting and managed to make a note of Wallace's license plate. The local police force was able to use this information to arrest Wallace.

Wallace was charged with murder but was released on bail after Edward Clark arranged for two of Johnson's financial supporters, M. E. Ruby and Bill Carroll, to post bonds on behalf of the defendant. Johnson's attorney, John Cofer, also agreed to represent Wallace.

On 1st February, 1952, Wallace resigned from his government job in order to distance himself from Lyndon Johnson. His trial began seventeen days later. Wallace did not testify. Cofer admitted his client's guilt but claimed it was an act of revenge as Kinser had been sleeping with Wallace's wife.

The jury found Wallace guilty of "murder with malice afore-thought". Eleven of the jurors were for the death penalty. The twelfth argued for life imprisonment. Judge Charles O. Betts overruled the jury and announced a sentence of five years imprisonment. He suspended the sentence and Wallace was immediately freed.

According to Bill Adler of The Texas Observer, several of the jurors telephoned John Kinser's parents to apologize for agreeing to a "suspended sentence, but said they did so only because threats had been made against their families."

On 9th August, 1984, the lawyer, Douglas Caddy, wrote to Stephen S. Trott at the U.S. Department of Justice. In the letter Caddy claimed that Billie Sol Estes, Lyndon B. Johnson, Mac Wallace and Clifton C. Carter had been involved in the murders of John Kinser, Henry Marshall, George Krutilek, Harold Orr, Ike Rogers, Coleman Wade, Josefa Johnson (she died in 1961), and John F. Kennedy. Caddy added: "Mr. Estes is willing to testify that LBJ ordered these killings, and that he transmitted his orders through Cliff Carter to Mac Wallace, who executed the murders."

In 2003 Barr McClellan published Blood, Money & Power: How LBJ Killed JFK. In the book McClellan argues that Lyndon B. Johnson and Edward Clark were involved in the planning and cover-up of the murder of John Kinser.

John, Do you think that President Bush has Barr McClellan's son working for him purely as a slap in the face to the Johnson name, or has the present Mr. Mcclellan earned his place on GW's staff? Much has been said about this appointment, both here and on JFK Lancer.

  16. If anyone takes Gerry Hemmings at his word, He says he was involved in protecting the president at the Tampa attempt.

I believe Gerry Hemming said he was involved in security at the Miami airport.

    T.C.

Tim, that is correct. He also mentioned that no one was armed in this endeavour. Do you put any stock in what Mr. Hemmings has to say

    Thanks,

    Terry

  17. Tim Carroll and I disagree on many things but we also agree on many things.

One thing on which we do agree is that many of the events surrounding the assassination would be explained by the scenario of a fake assassination attempt to be blamed on Castro (which attempt may have even been known to JFK).

Interesting that you veer between believing that Castro was responsible for the assassination and a scenario under which Castro was made to appear responsible for same. Yet at no time do you seem to entertain the notion that the real assassination was planned and executed by those who planned to have Castro look like the culprit, which is what all the evidence seems to suggest. Quite a massive blind spot there, dear boy.

I taking another look at the issue of possible security stripping in Dallas, I came across this statement in the testimony of George Micheal Evica to the AARB (and I would also note that the testimony comes from the mcAdams web-site):

Since no later than '75, researchers have collected comments circulating not just among researchers but in the U.S. intelligence community on a possible Dealey Plaza assassination scenario; that is, a covert test of the President's security, including a simulated attack to be attributed to pro-Castro agents or sympathizers, that test justifying an actual security stripping as part of the simulation. With the President made vulnerable, the assassination plot succeeds.

Evica's mention that this "speculation" started in 1975 is interesting. I recently reread a vintage 1975 article on the assassination that appeared in that most mainstream media outlet, "The Tattler". The thrust of the article was that Loran Hall was a conspirator. But buried in the article was speculation that there had been a fake assassination attempt planned for Dallas.

Read Evica's statement again, Tim. Evica doesn't say this speculation began in '75, but that it was topical by "no later" than '75. The Newcomb & Adams manuscript of '74 [years in the making] contained that suggestion, as did other prior works. Re-read Meagher's "Accessories After The Fact" and you'll note the contention that even Oswald's purportedly ordering his weapons might have been part and parcel of a government sting operation, which is also along the same lines: to wit, set up a situation that the authorities were supposed to detect [but wouldn't/didn't] in order to introduce improved legislation to preclude same from happening in a real situation.

I thought it would be worthwhile to start a thread to discuss the possibility of a fake asassination attempt. I would invite Tim Carroll's comments, specifically asking him to repost here his information about what one ofd H. L. Hunt's former security agents wrote about this.

You may also wish to consider the possible ramifications of a few other details.

First, there is the fact that Robert Kennedy introduced legislation in February of '63 that would remove the responsibility for Presidential security from the SS and place it directly into the President's hands [it was defeated, ironically enough, early in '64, the very point in time that LBJ no longer trusted the SS to protect him.]

Second, you may wish to consider how SS protection protocols were compromised just prior to the assassination, when CIA played a role in same during the late '63 Florida jaunt. What could dilute such protective protocols more thoroughly than sharing that type of information with an organization that maintained its own staff of freelance assassins? While you're navel-gazing and blue-skying any number of speculations, perhaps either of these two thoughts might take up a few nano-seconds of your time?

As I recall there was also an interersting article about a fake aassassination scenario that involved the actor Audie Murphy (not as a conspirator but as someone who had heard about the theory). I would invite anyone who has ready access to this article to repost it here.

In closing (for now) I would comment that this scenario fits in nicely with the premise of "Ultimate Sacrifice". A failed aassassination attempt blamed on Castro could have been used to justify the coup against Castro. And if "Ultimate sacrifice" is correct that the Mafia had infiltrated the AMWORLD plot, how easy it would have been to "hijack" the fake plot and make it real.

Oh, puh-leeze. Have you any evidence that the conspiracy that succeeded wasn't "real" from start to finish? Or are we off on yet another of your pointless fishing expeditions, designed to waste time and energy on the useless, while ignoring the potentially fruitful?

I doubt if there is currently any way to make this sceanrio any more than "speculation" but perhaps we can at least try to find out when and where the reports and rumors of a fake assassination originated.

Mere "speculation" [bereft of any evidence] hasn't precluded you from reaching untenable conclusions in the past.

If anyone takes Gerry Hemmings at his word, He says he was involved in protecting the president at the Tampa attempt.
