    I was told that I had to apologize to Dale for posting his comments on the forum. This I refused to do and therefore I don't get their emails anymore. It does not bother me as I have decided to withdraw from all research into the JFK assassination. I have met some great people during my research but clearly the JFK community has more than its fair share of severely disturbed people. I have had enough of the abuse and have decided to keep out of these discussions. After all, it does not really matter as we will never be allowed to find out what happened that day. As one former CIA contract agent said to me, the US government cannot allow the American people to know the truth, as it will completely undermine the belief that the US is a democratic society.

    Whereabouts of Mr. Hudson

    HI DAVID, YOUR WELCOME, THERE WAS A STUDY I BELIEVE AT Lancer some time ago, on hudson in relation to willis 5, i did a search thought i may have saved part but nothing came up from the dungeon, but i think it was done by bill miller showing in willis 5 that just shows him, partially,behind the pole, that he was lined up with in that photo, and i no longer could find that research photo either, i guess the gremlin got the munchies, but much came up on hudson from the past but not that of course, mrs murphy's law...here is a slow mo gif showing the steps fwiw, and yes hudson, would have had to have walked past the bdmn wall, thought he may not have paid any attention to anyone there at that time as so many were and had gathered in the park area, yes that looks about right in your map for hm to have gone from the shed to the steps.also a crop from willis bdmn not showing him on the steps, ..take care b..

    Dutchman Helmer Reenberg has put together an excellent series of documentaries on many of the Dealey Plaza witnesses with a lot of good films and photos that I've never seen before.

    At the very end of this one: TSBD Employees Part 2, in frames 648 - to the end,

    there's Oswald and Lovelady in the same photo frame. Reenberg is refering to Lovelady being at the front door of the TSBD

    and following Truly and Baker back into the building. He implies that the photo was taken then, but on closer examination,

    it appears that the photo was taken later at DPD HQ. Is that right? If anybody knows?

    Reenberg also features a Movie theater Newsreel of the Ruby trial in which the announcer refers to the murder of Harvey Lee Oswald.

    There's a lot of good stuff here.

    Does anybody know Reenberg or anything about him?

    Bill, I didn't see anything about Lovelady following Truly and Baker back into the building. I didn't see where

    Reenberg implied that picture was taken inside the Depository.

    Lovelady didn't even know the President had been shot until Gloria Calvary told him. Lovelady and Bill Shelley then

    went toward the railroad tracks. Lovelady said he was 15 to 25 steps from the Depository when he looked back and

    saw Truly enter the building. Lovelady got to the railroad tracks and due to the commotion decided he should return.

    He entered the Depository through the back door which apparently had not yet been secured.

    I'm not at home to check but that picture looks identical (or similar) to one published in With Malice.

    Of course it is police headquarters. Oswald was just being led in.

    Today is the anniversary of the 1964 release of the Warren Commission Report on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

    It isn't an occasion we observe but it is momentous in that it spawned scores of books and studies questioning the findings of that commission.

    The Warren Report initially met with acceptance by the American public but subsequent investigations disputing the commission's findings have resulted in surveys showing as much as 80 percent of Americans having misgivings about the report.

    Kennedy's assassination, for some reason, was accompanied by numerous other political assassinations or attempted assassinations both here and abroad.

    The other assassinations included Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jack Ruby, Medgar Evers and Malcolm X. Gov. George Wallace was wounded for life and shots were fired at President Gerald Ford.

    This rash of assassinations and attempts resulted in the creation of a U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1976. It held hearings for three years and in 1979 concluded that the assassinations primarily were by lone gunmen and not part of a conspiracy.

    In the murder of President Kennedy, however, the House committee found both the original FBI investigation and the Warren Commission Report to be seriously flawed. It concluded that there was a "high probability" that two gunmen fired at the President and it was probable that a conspiracy existed. It is unlikely we will learn much more about President Kennedy's death in future years unless we hear some deathbed confessions. We haven't heard any of those in the past 47 years so it's getting less and less likely.

    Conspiracies are difficult to cover up. That is why the simplest explanation is usually the best. In this case, the simplest explanation is the lone gunman theory. Of course, that requires a two lone gunmen theory since one also has to conclude that Jack Ruby, who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, also acted out of completely personal motivations.

    It is the hurried and botched investigations by the FBI and Warren Commission that leave so many questions unanswered.

    American leaders were anxious to get the country back to normal as quickly as possible in order to allay any fears that more attacks were coming. So a quick investigation leading to a conclusion that there was no conspiracy was thought to be the answer.

    But too many questions were left open. It also hurt the commission's credibility that the public does not want to believe that our nation's leader can be picked off by a two-bit malcontent.

    That had been the case with previous presidential assassinations and attempted assassinations except for the first one. Several people were convicted and executed for involvement in the killing of President Abraham Lincoln. And that is remembered.

    The Kennedy assassination wasn't the only time the government has made matters worse with an investigation appearing to reveal less than the truth.

    The famous 1947 crash at Roswell produced an Army news release saying a flying saucer had been captured. That was followed the next day by an explanation that it was only a weather balloon.

    That explanation was accepted by the American public for more than 30 years until people who had been involved began coming forward with information that the material recovered didn't look like a flying saucer or a weather balloon.

    The current government story now is that it was a secret spy balloon being tested. Then, on the 50th anniversary of the crash, the military announced that the bodies were test dummies being dropped from airplanes. Bodies? Who said anything about bodies?

    The probability is zero that whatever fell near Roswell was from another planet. It was probably something being tested by the German scientists who were shooting off rockets at what then was called White Sands Proving Grounds.

    This was a test that didn't prove out and the Pentagon was so anxious to cover it up that any explanation would suffice. And it would produce unlimited conspiracy theories.

    Could this be a prequil to the UFO Press Conference at the National Press Club tomorrow?

    When I first tried to get Congresional hearings on the JFK Act, many years ago, I was just handing out leaflets to Congressional offices with a half dozen other COPA members.

    At the same time, the very same week, the UFO Disclosure Project held a very well attended press conference at the National Press Club that was even carried by CSPAN, of all former military officers who were requesting Congress to hold hearings on the UFOs.

    I was sure they were doing it just to take attention away from me and my friends who thought we could do something by leafleting congressmen.

    I don't think they got the hearings they wanted either, but the idea that they were so much more organized and funded really bothered me.

    It is also interesting that the first UFO conference sponsored by the CIA included a briefing by two officers from the US Navy Photo Interpretation Center, an analysis of two films of UFOs that they concluded were not lights, planes or swamp gas, but something they could not explain. This briefing led the CIA to hire away the Navy NPIC top brass to form the CIA's Natonal Photo Interpretation Center, that we now know of from the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Z-film.

    In any case, I think Jay Miller is correct in his analysis that the whole deal was a psych war operation designed to hide the Nazi rocket boys and the development and operational security of the U2 and other high tech defense systems.

    Lyndon Johnson.The declassification of tapes of Lyndon Johnson's phone calls, along with other documents, provided an explanation for why the Warren Commission might have engaged in a cover-up: to prevent World War III. Johnson continually refers in phone calls to "foreign complications" (allegations of Communist conspiracy, mainly emanating from Mexico City) and that the lives of "40 million Americans" were at stake. He told Senator Russell that he had finally convinced Earl Warren to head the Commission because of "what Hoover told me about a little incident in Mexico City." (audio)

    lbj tried to block rfk's being buried in arlington, nor would he sign the appropriation papers. he was finally convinced by some around him,to allow the burial at arlington, but it took republican president richard nixon to finally sign the papers, yes he must have grinned...if i had read this in the past i must have forgotten, but have now found reference to it all over the web, in a search, it also appears within several books on lbj....

Though Johnson promised Kennedy's family to do ''anything I can do to help,'' he delayed their lone request -- to finance a permanent grave site for the Senator at Arlington National Cemetery, next to his brother John's. In 1969, a new President took the appropriate steps. As he signed the final authorization, Richard Nixon, who knew a thing or two about political grudges, must have smiled.
