I thought the myth of Oswald watching I led three lives had been exploded already. Wasn't it on the air at a time when Oswald could not have watched it?

Garrison - wondering whether the guy with the scar over his left eye accompanied Oswald to Mexico City, and that the pics the CIA had of Oswald were in the company of this (CIA) man, necessitating the photo substitution.

Found it. After the teenager there are two mustached men, short and tall. I can also see the powerful looking neck scratcher a bit later. Is his height consistent with Morales?

I would try to summarize this as Mckeown doing an interview with Dan Rather years later talking about the time Oswald came to his house trying to work an arms deal, but never mentioning to Rather that Ruby had talked to him about Oswald prior to the Oswald visit. Maybe it's not clear whether Ruby mentions Oswald to McKeown before or after the Oswald visit.

Chris - what do you make of this slip? It would be nice to just have in encapsulated in one post.

Simpich refers to Isidro Borja as military commander of DRE. Question for you Tommy, who has spent considerable time over the years studying pictures of Oswald in NO among others. Have you ever looked through with an eye to spotting George Joannides?

Armstrong claims that Lee Oswald and Celso Hernandez were arrested in late 1961, whereas Simpich, in his article about the twelve men that built the Oswald legend claims the arrest, presumably the same one referred to by Armstrong, occurred in late 1962. Obviously there is a huge difference. Any pics of Celso Hernandez? Simpich says there appear to be two with the same name, one of whom was possibly a Castro agent, the other anti-Castro DRE.

But you didn't notice that Billings first mentioned the Oswald sighting at the Carousel by Harvey Wade, but doesn't mention that Wade describes a Latin male with a scar over his left eyebrow. But he segues into the trade mart leafleting, saying that Garrison thinks the 'Shepherd' had such a scar, and that the same man might have been driving the station wagon (tan, light green, possibly two toned and faded) belonging to Ruth Paine, and also might have been in the missing Oswald in MC photos. And I think it's likely that in 1967 no one had heard of Morales. You posted years ago on the station wagon and photos thereof. Yeah I'll continue reading. But I would think, given that apparently I discovered something you had missed that pertained directly to your stated theory, that you would be a bit more interested. And I notice no one else participating despite the fact I'll bet plenty of readers suspect Morales as being the key operational figure.

Read on a bit - repost your link please - Garrison thinks this same guy with the scar drove 'the tan station wagon'. Do you know what thus refers to? Reading on, fantastically, Garrison speculates that this same man was photographed with Oswald outside the Cuban embassy in MC, and that this was the reason they never came forward with actual photos of LHO in MC. Question - did Garrison know anything about David Morales? Not according to the index to 'On the Trail of the Assassins'.

Graves - this 'shepherd' link from Billings is immediately preceded by a note on the Harvey Wade spotting at the Carousel Club of Oswald and the man with the scar. How weird.....

Not to make a big thing of this, but: My post glances off Ron Ecker's article on the oddities surrounding how Ruby's dog, Sheba, was left in Ruby's car during the Oswald shooting. Why did Ruby name a dog "Sheba" in the first place? "Sheba" is not exactly a wiseguy's dog's name, and Sheba was not exactly a wiseguy's dog breed. I'm suggesting that the name "Sheba" is a homosexual subculture reference, based on the movie/stage play title's having become become a camp catch phrase by the 1960s. I linked to the Wiki page for the movie in my post. I admit that the 1952 movie caused "Sheba" to become a popular dog's name...but not among your average wiseguys. Did Ruby have a solid alibi for where he was at 12:30 pm Nov. 22, 1963? I recall that he claimed to be at the radio station KLIF, and that others saw him there earlier.
