    All I want for Christmas...

It is a sad commentary.  We are only a week out from a 15 year old shooting his classmates in Michigan with HIS Christmas present and now she posts this.  WHAT A MOM!

Only looking out for the best interest of her country, her constituents and her children.

...somehow it just doesn't ring true.

It is 1984, INSANITY is sanity!

I came across this today on MSN.

Ron, I came across the same article story yesterday as it was printed in the Miami Herald Logo.  I was confused about one portion of the article which has been abbreviated in the link you posted.  In the one from the MHL that I read yesterday and which is still posted, the person whose story is being related, David Pearson says the following:

It is 3 p.m. that windy, fateful day. I am frozen at my desk, still stunned with the awful news of John Kennedy’s murder in Dallas.

My phone rings. “Shriver wants you and Lloyd Wright to go to [Kennedy aide] Ralph Dungan’s office at the White House to help.” Running all the way, we are across Lafayette Square and there in four minutes.

When I get to the front gates, I realize I don’t have my wallet with my ID card. Lloyd pulls his ID card out and vouches for me. Shriver has phoned ahead, so they let us through. I am surprised because the Secret Service men are running around like squirrels under the trees, and it occurs to me that they are jumpy for nothing. Their president has already been shot.

We slip into Dungan’s big office. Seated around the large desk are Shriver, McGeorge Bundy, Arthur Schlesinger Jr., Angier Biddle Duke, Capt. Tazewell Shepard (the naval aide), Maj. Gen. Chester V. Clifton (the military aide) and an Army protocol colonel. Also present are John Bailey, the national Democratic chairman; Ted Sorensen and Lee White. Each will play an important role tonight.

It even states that Clifton was in the Dallas motorcade, yet he is listed as being in this gathering at the White House prior to the arrival of the plane with the President's body arriving.  I read further, thinking that the meeting took place later after the plane arrived, but a paragraph or so later he, (Pearson) states:  When the president’s jet arrives at 5:58 p.m., Shriver has a long phone conversation with Bobby. Then he turns and says to us, “I’d like you all to know, in a general way, what Mrs. Kennedy’s and the family’s wishes are.

Has Pearson gotten his timeline/personnel confused?  How could Clifton be in the meeting somewhere between 3 p.m. and 5:58 p.m., having come from Dallas?

Good thing the documents from the CIA are no longer in their hands.

Sandy, to quote one of my favorite movies:  "How do you know?".

From "Three Days of the Condor" - The last line by Cliff Robertson (CIA director) to Robert Redford (Condor) after he's told the director he gave his story to the NY Times.  How do you know they'll print it? You can take a walk. But how far if they don't print it?

In this case, how do you know they're not inside group now making the decisions and culling for sensitive info?  That would be similar to George Joannides and the HSCA wouldn't it?

...I was the dumb one and that the actual spelling of the word had been changed!

Ty, I would never be so bold as to call someone dumb for misspelling (unless they by trade are writers), but with the availability of "spell check" and "grammar check" it should not happen near as often as it does.  I am however, pleased to see that there are plentiful "spell and grammar" OCD individuals on the forum.  I am admitted one as well.  Every day when I read media news articles, whether from local papers or posted on the web, etc., I immediately seize upon the first offense and can't help wanting to report it to someone, anyone - usually my wife (who doesn't care one whit!  It also has me taking an inordinate amount of time to type in a post on the forum as well 🤣.  I seldom use the basic spell check, but will look up many words using the online/google lookup.  As you can tell if you read my post(s), I do not use the grammar check at all and simply reread my sentences until I am satisfied that they don't ramble too much, LOL.  I do suffer from (RUSS) - run on sentence syndrome and have been known to obsess over acronyms also.  I once floated the idea that the USPS and the government was completely under the aegis of "FOAM" - Federal Office of Acronym Management.

Very much looking forward to him being charged with seditious conspiracy along with the others.

From your lips to GOD's ears.  I am wondering if anyone in our justice system is going to ever get up the nerve and necessary documentation to defend their/our democracy.  If our founders had the timidity of our current political leaders, we would still be flying the Union Jack.  When do our leaders come to understand the dire consequences of what happened on January 6 and continues unabated even now.  If there is no punishment for the crimes committed, we are not surviving as a republic.  While there is much to be appreciated about moderation and "coming together" as a nation, failure to punish those who directly and unabashedly attacked the very foundations of our nation as a republic will yield the same fruits as those that fueled the rise of נאצי Germany over the Weimar Republic.

Sneaked that one in instead of poopoo maybe.  It's Hebrew text for the "N" word.

There used to be an interview of him on YouTube. He’s a joker and a xxxxx.

This was my impression from the start.  I figured there was no way he could be out there attempting to tell his story AND trying to profit from it without someone on the forum having knowledge of him.  It still amazes me how little the vast majority of people know and understand about the JFK assassination and what they will accept at face value without investigation.

I thank all of you who took the time to look into this and provide your personal knowledge in lieu of my spending too much time going down another rabbit hole.  The expanse of knowledge on the forum can save anyone valuable time in research by simply asking a question and fleshing it out with those who have already encountered that particular nugget of information.  I do this many times, in the hopes I may turn up a small tidbit of information someone else has been searching for but which has eluded them through the complexity of the vast amounts of diverging information out there.

  7. Addendum to the above post:  It seems there are also FDC post cards or envelopes (First Day Covers from USPS) with his signature that are also being sold using the same photo.  It seems he or someone connected with him are taking the cards/envelopes with the photo on the left or return address area to a postal installation that using the special cancellation designated for First Day Covers (First day of issue for a STAMP) and then selling them as though there is some sort of special connection between them (the FDC and the photo).  Anyone can take any blank (or pre printed) envelope/card and get the FDC cancellation mark by simply asking at a location which is authorized by the USPS or mailing them with a request for the special cancellation using the instructions issued by the USPS.  For the FDC cancellation mark, the only thing required is that whatever stamp is affixed to the card/letter, be the stamp that is being issued on that date.

    They just naturally think alike.

Kirk, I think you quite eloquently made the case on the historical context.  I know you don't need me to agree, but I think much the same (if we both agree perfectly, one of us is not needed).  In order for our democracy to work like it should, what we would need is for the vast amounts of money to be erased from the equation.  Even if this were possible, the imperfect humans running the government still would not do what was in the best interest of the population as a whole.  Individuals, even when in groups still tend to start from a standpoint of "what's in it for me/my company/my pocket book/etc."  While my thoughts are not particularly germane to the JFK assassination, it does relate to your point about people in similar situations tending to think similarly.  It is their natural starting point.  Thinking outside your personal "box" or starting by thinking about how you can improve someone else's circumstances rarely occurs unless there is money to be made by the instigator.

  9. Makes one wonder WHAT was different about Dallas!  What individuals and entities had influence or direct control of all of the changes made to the protocols?  Who was removed from the normal procedures?  The plan has to go back all the way, which in my mind leads directly to LBJ.  It was HIS home state and he was known for controlling everything in his orbit.

Thank you for saving me the time.

Thank you Robert.  I mostly read on the forum to try and fill in the many areas of ignorance I have about the assassination(s).  Some days I just wake up in one of my moods, as my wife calls them.  I read some posts this morning and came across the one I referenced.  It just seemed so out of focus with the thinking of anyone who was actually interested in truth, facts and known information about the case, that I had to comment.

Sirhan has never shown remorse for his murder of RFK.

Or...perhaps he has shown no remorse because he truly has NO memory of the shooting, which by the way he has continually stated over the years - (without exception, I believe).  As one of many people who have studied the evidence with an open mind and read Dr. Noguchi's forensic autopsy, there is absolutely no way Sirhan got close enough to RFK to make at least two of the shots (including the fatal one).  I don't have an opinion as to the number of shooters, beyond Sirhan and Thane Eugene Caesar.  I think Sirhan was firing live ammo and that Caesar used RFK as a shield (in case one of his shots was on target for RFK.  He pivoted RFK and pulled him downward, shooting him at the same time, therefore Caesar was either behind or under RFK during the shots from Sirhan.  I do not currently believe Sirhan was firing blanks - too many people were hit with shots and they were all in close proximity to RFK.  I do believe Sirhan was simply firing randomly in front of him with no specific target as part of his programming.  Feel free to attack any/all of these statements if you like, they are all stated as "my beliefs" or "my opinion", so therefore there is no attempt to identify any of this as FACT.  Even the statements of Dr. Noguchi were his opinion based on the facts presented to him at the autopsy.

  12. Thanks for the heads up and the links.  Though I live in Georgia, I emailed in support of the parole.  I hope many others take your lead as well.  It's probably a long shot since the family is split, but I'm used to tilting at windmills.

PS:  It worked in the GA Senate races last November at least.  Maybe again?  We can all only try our best.

The building reading TSBD with the arrow above is the old TSBD on Houston Street.

Thanks Denis, that was the missing piece.  I managed to find an aerial picture which depicted the area and was able to reconstruct the angles.  That was much farther away than I had realized.  I remember reading about employees working at one warehouse and being sent over to work at the other and just assumed they were walking a short distance (at least a shorter distance than this appears to be).

This McIntire photo was taken a few minutes after the shooting by Oswald. We would see Frazier’s car had that tree not be there.

I am at a loss in studying these photos, particularly the one labeled "McIntire".  In this picture the TSBD (back side) is on the left of the photo and the Sunshine Biscuit factory is on the right.  I could not reconcile this in my mind, so I looked the location of the Biscuit factory building.  This building is located at 603 Munger Ave (since 1903).  Using an aerial photo and Google Maps, I find the only way to get an image of the depository angled such that it would appear to the left of the TSBD is to be at least 4 blocks to the NE of the depository almost up to N. Griffith St on the 366 Hwy (today).  Something is still not right with the building size/perspective even with this. You can clearly read "Texas School Book Depository" on the building, but it (the building), appears way too large and there is a building showing that is taller than the TSBD.  Is this possibly the other warehouse being used by the TSBD instead of the building the shooting occurred at (supposedly)?

hat is correct, and supports the notion that because she was pressing down on the right side of JFK's head during the trip to Parkland, the wound near the right ear that is clearly seen in the Zapruder film was not seen by the doctors in trauma room 1.

I would not support that notion.  I think it obvious that tampering has been done to the Zapruder film and the frame posted by John B. is one of the more blatant.  I am not a doctor, surgeon or medically trained person, but if this "flap" were real, you couldn't hide it from me no matter what else I was concentrating on.  This wound would have been quite gory and IMPOSSIBLE to not be noticed no matter how much you "pressed" it down.  The actual wound IMO is by her right hand and is what is eliciting the anguished look on her face.  As far as the large wound by the ear goes, Jackie also made the statement (paraphrased here) "from the front, there was nothing" when describing the wounds.  I think almost anyone would admit if you were looking head on at someone, you see around their heads to the ear area, therefore negating what she said.  Being as close a witness as anyone could be, I don't think she would have said "from the front, there was nothing".

PS:  I think she also made another statement about holding the BACK of his head on, not the side.
