  2. We've voted!

Me in a voting place. My wife by mail deposited in a special U.S.P.S. drop box in front of our local library just half a mile away.

We live in California.  Wonder how many have voted already here in our state?

Watched the V.P. debate last night. Couldn't believe how many times the moderator allowed Pence to keep on talking way past his limit. I was expecting some strict control regards violating the time limit rules. Chris Wallace was actually more aggressive in trying to keep Trump under control despite his 145 interruptions.

I had to mute the volume for quite awhile as there were relatives in the room who were somewhat apolitical and wanted to talk about other things such as UFO's, Bigfoot, haunted house stories and the death of Eddie Van Halen.

At one point a young grandchild who was watching the screen shouted "Hey, there's a fly on that man's head!" That stopped the other discussion and we all silently watched the fly.

We speculated about the fly and how it remained on Pence's head for so long.

I threw out a spontaneous thought that Trump will probably say it was a highly sophisticated drone dispatched by Democratic Party dirty tricksters to embarrass Pence.

Still thought like 58% average national poll numbers that Harris was the winner of the debate.

Can't comment on the full substance of the candidate's talking points.

However, from a visual perspective I found Harris the more real person with expressive eyes, sensual mouth and a big healthy white tooth smile.

Whoever fixed her up cosmetically did a great job. She was very attractive looking in a hot exotic way imo.

Pence always looks like a store front window mannequin to me.

An almost plastic smooth face with a fixed, slight, thin lip smile. Squinty, beady, no expression eyes.

Nose so small and square it looks like it's carved out of wood.

Maximum trim hair cut style with not one hair out of place.

Robotic head movement. Slow deliberate fixed plane turns.

I actually remembered similar faced car crash dummies and in old movies of atom bomb tests where they put dummies in a model home near the blast site to simulate what would happen in a real life situation.

Agree with Kirk Galloway. Tell Trump to jump in a lake if he won't do a virtual debate Biden.

The Repubs have been treating the Dems like this for decades. Time to shove it right back at em. For once, show some spine. Voters will see this as strength against Trump, not the other way around imo.

I've always thought the Democrats bring a knife to a gunfight with the Republicans, Right now there's an impasse about the next debate.  Because of Trump's infection, Biden wants it done virtually. Trump refused!, Since Trump's bent on destroying any glimmer of hope he has left, I say grant him his wish!

I'd go one further, Since the Republicans say Biden is so weak. To dispel any doubt that Biden is effectual, which would be good for Biden to do. Biden may be able to win over more Republican support by showing he can squeeze as good as the Republicans, and say in essence. "Sorry filthy ass, but you blew your chance at intelligently debating the issues, like you blew your chance to be the hero president who helped beat covid, you treated it like a joke, and it bit you and destroyed what little future chance you have to be President. So deal with it!

An hour ago W. I am no fan of Donald Trump but it appears Jim Harwood might be. In posting his comments about Kamala Harris Jim broke no rules at all - yet one member considered he had the right to refer to Jim as a “nut.” No one has the right to insult a fellow member , even if they feel the said member has not included all the facts.

Members have a perfect right to feel aggrieved when referred to in this way.

For the last few years the admin team have either hidden or moved threads regarding Donald Trump because the subject can sometimes bring out the worst in us. With it being so close to the election I would prefer not to not to take action regarding this thread or others on Donald Trump. I am conscious that this US election may be somewhat unusual and may well excite us to voice our opinions.

This may be a difficult few weeks ahead and members - regarding this subject - might feel tempted to be intemperate with their opinions. Feel free to voice your opinions but - at all times - be civil to one another.  I will deal with any thread if we cannot be civil to each other.

    James.

    Here Here.

And thank you for allowing this off the JFK topic, unprecedented political and social anxiety times release valve thread for the last few months.

These times and this presidential election has everyone on edge like we have never experienced before. Your tolerance in this context is so appreciated.

Most JFK forum members are very politically minded anyway due to the nature of the assassination being a political event as much as a criminal one.

I am sure this thread will die down if Biden wins the election.

However, maybe not while Trump is still in the presidency until January 20th, 2021.

What Trump may pull off in his remaining 2 and 1/2 months in office may still rock the nation and/or world.

Hopefully not in some crazy dangerous way. Let us pray.

Somehow, I think 10,000 is going to prove to be a vast under-estimate.

I hope many of their signs directly address the issue of Trump's history of sexual predator behavior.

Signs that read Trump's most famous quote:

    "GRAB EM BY THE PU$$Y"

    "JUSTICE FOR E. JEAN CARROLL"

"FEEL SORRY FOR EPSTEIN VICTIMS, NOT GHISLAINE MAXWELL"

"STORMY DANIELS AND KAREN McDOUGAL ARE NOT XXXXX"

"ALL THE PRESIDENT'S WOMEN. THE MAKING OF A SEXUAL PREDATOR"

" EXPLAIN TO YOUR DAUGHTERS WHY YOU VOTED FOR A SEXUAL PREDATOR?"

This issue "alone" ( if given broader national media coverage ) could bring anti-Trump women voters out in droves! It could guarantee a Trump loss ... imo.

  6.

Clear violation of tax exempt benefit law in actively promoting one political candidate or party over another.

The Catholic Church has been doing this ever since Reagan. Actively telling their flocks to vote Republican. From the highest levels - Bishops.

Message to the Republican party law and order touting defenders...enforce the non-political tax exempt law.

And even this Bishop "knows" Trump could care less about the abortion issue personally. How many sexual encounters has Trump had ( outside of his marriage ) ... dozens ...hundreds? And without using a condom? Who knows how many flings Trump has had that may or could have resulted in pregnancies with abortions? When you have that many sexual trysts, the odds start stacking up that unwanted pregnancies could have occurred.

Catholic bishop in Missouri criticized for letter on voting

1 hour ago · KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The bishop of Kansas City-St. Joseph in Missouri is urging parishioners to vote for candidates who are anti-abortion, which some critics contend amounts to an endorsement of Republican candidates. In a letter dated Sept. 14, Bishop James V. Johnston Jr. does not endorse a political party or specific candidates.

It also follows other Catholic leaders who have written similar letters.

Two weeks ago, Pittsburgh Bishop David Zubik urged his parishioners to vote with their conscience based on church teachings.

In September, the Rev. James Altman, a parish priest in La Crosse, Wisconsin, declared in a YouTube video that “you cannot be Catholic and be a Democrat.” La Crosse Bishop William Callahan criticized Altman for entangling the church in scandal.

Roman Catholic voters are an important voting bloc in this year’s election, and both parties are appealing for their votes based on their faith. Roman Catholics have voted for the winner in nine out of the last 10 presidential elections.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is a practicing Catholic but he has been criticized by some for his support of abortion rights. Trump, who identifies as Presbyterian, rarely attends church and critics say his stance on other social issues conflict with Catholic teachings.

  7. The refusal by the Shaw trial judge to allow the New Orleans PD booking officer from testifying that Shaw did indeed admit to using the alias "Clay Bertrand" was just one major death blow to the entire case.

Imagine if the jury heard a sworn N.O. police officer testify under oath to his first hand account of Shaw admitting to him face to face that he did use this alias which would have tied the testimony of Dean Andrews directly to Shaw.

It would have probably destroyed Shaw's credibility to a degree of undermining every other aspect of Shaw's testimony from that point on.

Hasn't it been accepted by most that Garrison knew his case against Shaw was unwinnable from an early point in time, greatly because he knew he could not beat the power groups who had blocked extradition of key witnesses, subverted inclusion of key evidence, intimidated prosecution witnesses, tainted the media and blocked key evidence of Shaw's true background ,etc.?

However, just getting the case tried with much

evidence and testimony heard, read and documented in the public record that otherwise would have never been exposed on this

level if the case trial was never allowed, was

to some degree a victory in itself?

JOE MURPHY, Patrolman, Traffic Division, Police Department, Dallas, Texas, advised that on November 22, 1963, he was stationed at the Triple Underpass on Elm Street to assist in handling traffic. At approximately 10:30-10:40 AM, a pickup truck stalled on Elm Street between Houston Street and the underpass. He was unable to recall the name of the company to whom this truck belonged but stated it is the property of the company working on the First National Bank Building at Elm and Akard in Dallas.

There were three construction men in this truck, and he took one to the bank building to obtain another truck in order to assist in moving the stalled one. The other two men remained with the pickup truck along with two other officers. Shortly prior to the arrival of the motorcade, the man he had taken to the bank building returned with a second truck, and all three of the men left with the two trucks, one pushing the other.

MURPHY noted that the men did not leave the truck except for the one he took to the bank building, and all three left together sometime prior to the arrival of the President's motorcade. He described the stalled truck as being a green pickup and noted the truck had the hood raised during the time it was stalled. This truck had side tool bins on it, and they had a considerable amount of construction equipment in the back.

MURPHY futher stated it was probable that one of these men had taken something from the rear of this truck in an effort to start it. He stated these persons were under observation all during the period they were stalled on Elm Street because the officers wanted the truck moved prior to the arrival of the motorcade, and it would have been impossible for any of them to have had anything to do with the assassination of President KENNEDY.

Great eyewitness this officer. Not even there when Julia Ann Mercer was.

And have you ever "pushed" another vehicle with your own?

You might do this to get a car stuck in mud out of it. You go very slowly as otherwise you can crash into each other with considerable damage.

And where did they go...on to a freeway? Please!

I'll "guess" that the stalled pick up truck miraculously started up 100 feet down the road.

Sorry, giving one's "opinions and guesses" regards the actions of others when you have left the scene  ( this officer wasn't there ) would draw an immediate sustaining of this testimony in a court of law.

Given the numerous links Shaw had to the CIA, as well as to men like David Ferrie and LHO, is it so unreasonable to think that he was guilty of what Garrison was trying to prove? The Clinton witnesses are enough for me to think there was a lot more going on with Shaw. Did Garrison do things I would have done differently? Definitely. But I don't think that he realised until too late what he had uncovered.

I think the support he received from news stations like NBC, newspapers and magazines, politicians, CIA etc. show Garrison was on the right track. As Micah has highlighted, was Garrison trying to prove that Shaw was the shooter on the grassy knoll? If that had been the case then I would agree with your sentiment 100%. I doubt Shaw would have known the full extent of what was going to happen, but he certainly helped Oswald out as well as setting up the Oswald 'story' in Louisiana.

Senior Pentagon leadership quarantining after exposure to coronavirus

By Barbara Starr, CNN Pentagon Correspondent October 6, 2020

    https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/06/politics/pentagon-leadership-self-isolating-coronavirus/index.html

"The top US general, Gen. Mark Milley, and several members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff are quarantining after a top Coast Guard official tested positive for coronavirus, several US defense officials tell CNN.

The Vice Commandant of the US Coast Guard, Adm. Charles Ray, tested positive on Monday.

"On Monday, the Vice Commandant of the Coast Guard, Admiral Charles Ray, tested positive for COVID-19. He was tested the same day, after feeling mild symptoms over the weekend," the Coast Guard said in a statement Tuesday.

Ray recently attended several meetings at the Pentagon in secure areas with members of the Joint Chiefs. Multiple defense officials tell CNN that senior Pentagon leadership who had been in proximity to Ray have been tested and are awaiting results.

As a precaution, Milley is working from home, a defense official says. Milley has so far tested negative. As President Donald Trump's top military adviser, he maintains a full classified communications suite in his house, the official said.

The Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, Charles Brown, the Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday and the Chief of Space Operations, Gen. John Raymond, also are all working from home, according to several officials."

    HA HA HA HA!

Only when Netflix or Show Time does a seriously researched and thorough multi-part film series on the life of Donald Trump ( from birth to the presidency) will we get the true full creation picture of this strange man.

Trump's reaching the highest position of national and even world power despite his massive emotional, psychological, moral and money obsessed other character flaws and how he exercised this power and was enabled in doing so by a blindly loyal Republican Senate, high level government appointees and foreign influence is a warning story of epic historical importance.

These last 4 years of Trump have been like non-stop binge watching TV reruns of The Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond and the X Files combined.

The Conway family video and responding tweets in the link Steve provides above are surreal (and sad), especially the Conway family situation.

So true. Now to disturbing degrees.

This SS health risk drive by event was just crazy.

As reported over and over by disaffected former aides and staff throughout his entire term, the problem with Trump is he "doesn't follow advice" except when his staff ( as a unified begging team) finally get it through to him that he "must" do or say certain rectifying things to hopefully mitigate the most truly damaging words he has spoken or actions he has taken.

Trump obviously does what he wants despite contrary staff advise so often however, even they must feel it borders on mental illness.

A latest example is Trump's 3 day delayed public condemnation of "the Proud Boys" ( weak and obviously insincere as it was ) only after his failure to do this when asked in the debate created a nation media firestorm and drop in the polls. His staff must have had to do a lot of spoiled child coddling to get him to do this.

Same with this latest impulsive ego need desperate, show boat, drive-by joy ride.

Couldn't the guy simply do a Ronald Reagan/ Michael Jackson hand waving, kiss blowing window appearance to his clamoring fans below? Rather than putting SS agents at risk?

If Trump isn't "purposely" trying to lose the election, then his judgement abilities are regressing to disturbing levels.

I heard that Trump just put out 17 new tweets!  Isn't that obsessive?

It seems Trump is truly "addicted" to attention feeding audience reacting performances.  LOOK AT ME! LOVE ME! CHEER ME! BUY ME!

Ego maniac Trump has always been a news media attention hound/drug addict.

Having his name "TRUMP" emblazoned everywhere in the most bold, bright light public display way.

Decades of appearing on countless TV and radio talk shows and at press, sporting, beauty pageant and other major news covered events and dozens of cameos in other TV shows, national advertisements and major production films.

Culminating with his being the star of his own major national syndication TV shows!

It never ends and ... "It's never enough!"

Trump's estranged niece Mary Trump perfectly nailed this defining obsessive trait of her uncle in her recent tell-all expose book " Too Much And Never Enough. How My Family Created The World's Most Dangerous Man."

She knew her uncle's greatest character failings well ... and now most Americans do too.

  16. If the massive medical treatment ( 10 specialists-expensive drugs ) protocol being used to treat Trump works in mitigating his Covid afflicted symptoms and over-all condition and perhaps a complete recovery, do you think that the rest of the country's citizens should have the right to demand a similar medical treatment response for themselves or loved ones who come down with the virus or are currently afflicted and suffering through it?

Or, is this expensive all out treatment luxury only reserved for our President?

Imagine the outcry if Reagan had gotten AIDS in the no cure middle of that plague and was successfully cured with a different level of treatment than everyone else?

Leader of the all the people? All for one, one for all?

Also, police all over the nation for weeks now have been shutting down no mask, no social distancing gatherings even less attended and virus spreading risk egregious than the White House Rose Garden Amy Coney Barrett honoring event one last week.

These college kids can't get away with such behavior. Citations, even arrests have been issued and made!

And look at the real and significant virus spreading damage the WH Rose Garden gathering has actually caused!

The equal under the law blind justice lady scale is off right now, don't you think?

Nope. He called it a hoax. It had nothing to do with who would die for who.

Yes Kathy...he called it all "a hoax" for all these months and hundreds of times over and over again.

Not a real threat risk he was personally and bravely willing to take take to show us all inspiring brave leadership.

One of the worst, most irresponsible consequences of his propagation of the mask and separation warning issue as a hoax is that millions emulated his mask warning hoax beliefs and have spread the virus to millions of others in doing so.

A while back, I wrote an essay that compared Donald Trump’s inauguration speech to Eva Peron’s Speech to the Descamisados on October 17, 1951

    https://www.marxists.org/history/argentina/peron/1951/speech.htm

And I had to come to thank all of you, my beloved descamisados from all corners of the fatherland for being willing to risk your lives for Perón. I was certain that you knew – as did I – how to serve as Perón’s entrenchment. The enemies of the people, of Perón and the Fatherland, have also long known that Perón and Eva Perón are ready to die for this people. Now they also know that the people are ready to die for Perón.

Compañeros, I ask just one thing today: that all of us publicly vow to defend Perón and to fight for him until death. And our oath will be shouted for a minute so that our cry can reach the last corner of the earth: Our lives for Peron!”

I noted that they shared several similar themes:

    • I am you and you are me

    • Together we fight the oligarchy

    • God is on our side

    • I will die for you

    • Ergo…

    Scary stuff indeed.

  19. I always appreciate in any JFK explanation event presentation the mention of Julia Ann Mercer and her first hand, 11,22,1963 mid-morning Dealey Plaza, stuck in traffic encounter observation story.

Everything about it rings honest and intriguingly important imo.

Reading her same day and 3 day later FBI and Sheriff Department affidavits ( official documents ) you are clearly impressed with her unwavering and detailed account.

She tells a suspiciously incongruous story that begs rational scrutiny considering it's location, activity and timing.

Her personal character integrity seemed to be unimpeachable.  She definitely did not seek further attention after her initial same day and three day later interrogations.

And to add even more rational suspicion weight to Ms. Mercer's story, she is on record as telling Jim Garrison that the signature on at least one of the supposed official affidavits is not hers and there was no notary present when she was being questioned.
