  1. Saw this on Tippit today. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5023235/Dallas-police-officer-JD-Tippit-JFK-s-REAL-assassin.html
  2. Short and to the point. I wonder how many people he has employed looking through the records? He must be grinning a little to know his work was influential in getting the records released this far. Oliver Stone 2 hrs · My Statement on the JFK Files Release: Yesterday, over 3,100 files were supposed to be finally released, 25 years after the JFK Act was passed and 20 years after the Review Board closed its doors. The page count is reportedly in the tens of thousands. But yet the CIA is still trying to hold up the process by claiming they want redactions in these declassified documents, 54 years after JFK was killed. They waited until the last day to file an appeal when they knew 3 months ago that today was the deadline. President Trump should stay true to his word. Declassify everything. Sincerely, Oliver Stone
  3. Thank you for your question. I will not address whether anyone violated the Act. However, I think you answered your own questions very well. A document for example might have several agencies involved. You would be amazed at how many actual administrative agencies there are, even just in the intelligence/defense world. In law school, many many years ago, my professor who is now a 9th circuit appellate court judge, said administrative agencies were the actual fourth branch of U.S. government. So each agency has to write their petition, many overlapping. Can you imagine that paperwork on your desk? Just to get that paperwork there would have taken many hours. So, I am not trying to excuse anything, nor attack anyone or entity. It is what it is. But saying this is the President's fault, I find that intellectually dishonest and incorrect. He certainly could have just said he was extending ALL documents! Arguably, now there will be another MSM blitz regarding this subject next April. . . which is good!
  4. Truth is, they waited until the last minute for several reasons I understand. One is attorneys need to write these petitions, that takes time. Then they need to be reviewed several times. I can assure you as a former government attorney, documents take a long time to create because of the oversight on what you write. (it can be frustrating sometimes but your superiors usually provide great insight on the document which you apply - if the agency head is good). To blame it on Trump (other posts not Jim's-Jim's post I agree with) is not intellectually satisfying and shows lack of understanding of the procedure. Trump did the right thing going on Twitter announcing he would release these documents, giving them a warning to get any petitions to him asap. Of course, when agency heads go the the White House in person, as I understand they did, he has to listen to them- they are his advisors. He listened to them, and apparently he was unhappy so he punted and gave them an extension to present their case rather than approving their petitions. So, blaming those who should have had these documents to him earlier seems logical. Of course, it might have been excellent strategy by very smart people in our intelligence agencies too.
  5. Memo to Angelton about a mysterious call in London before the assassination. Big stuff! 6. "I dont have a choice" President Trump... http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/26/politics/jfk-assassination-files-classified-document-release-donald-trump/index.html
  7. Well, I kind of ignored the thought something big might be in the records, but, this new delay makes me wonder. What is really worth hiding now?

  9. This is weird, its now noon west coast time. Nothing.
  10. Well, still waiting. Will this be the big joke? Will records only point to Russia and Cuba or will something be found on Oswald? Will photos of Oswald and Garrison having a drink at Napoleons be in there? Either way, will the MSM please put someone with credibility on to discuss the records? I wonder if Hillary would have released everything, assuming President Trump does. I doubt it, so... if President Trump does, kudos Mr. President.
  11. Academics? Look, how can anyone say what the secret information is and how relevant it is unless they have seen it? Not a very scientific approach for any historian to suggest that, let alone any social scientist. But, then again, he might know everything. Who knows?
  12. Well one thing, if, as some suggest, President Bush was part of the conspiracy based on fuzzy photos and two memos and that Netflix documentary, then why would he ok the release of information if anything pointed back to him? Makes no sense. Or, will this be the big joke, as opposed to the big event (pun on Hunt there), that the records all along point the finger at Cuba and/or Russia in the biggest 25 year joke ever with nothing pointing in any direction. It seems by the articles I have been reading that this could be the direction this will go. More smoke and mirrors? If so, the truth really will never be known because, the physical evidence which was essential in proving the case was either destroyed (clothes, cars, records, autopsy photos) or missing, etc.
  13. slapping my head, ok folks, if I am reading and interpreting some comments above correctly, the CIA is NOT investigating President Trump. The FBI and several other agencies are investigating various aspects of the election. The CIA is investigating foreign influence on the election-it is not investigating President Trump. Mueler is a special prosecutor investigating the election on behalf of the Department of Justice. Please stop saying or implying the CIA is investigating President Trump. That just is not correct.
  14. Good. Today I was contacted by a local news station. I keep seeing so much incorrect information, especially the last two days.
  15. What? http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Culture/Uri-Geller-hints-at-knowledge-of-JFK-assassination-508141
  16. Politico had this story on the 20th, before Trump tweeted, http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/10/20/trump-block-release-jfk-kennedy-assassination-files-documents-215732 Then, it changed its tune, http://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/21/trump-jfk-assassination-files-john-kennedy-244018 Probably due to the sources politico is utilizing, Shenon etc.
  17. I think the articles are becoming more disingenuous each time. They seem to contradict prior comments each time. Now, to suggest that releasing the docs. will merely increase the conspiracy theories and therefore, do not release them because it will be a fiasco, excuse me while I go barf around the corner. I am disgusted any credible news source would print that crap. This is history, our country, and transparency. If it was Oswald, there is nothing to hide.
  18. President Trump is making the correct decision. I hope nothing changes. I do know from several associates that this is a big issue right now. So, it will be interesting to see what the documents contain. I am, however, sick of the Sabato and friends articles. These guys change their tune every week it seems depending on who is interviewing them, politico, etc. It would be nice if other reputable people would be interviewed. That brings me to the big question, if Judyth Baker is legit, has she provided any insight on anything relevant that she personally knows about Oswald, which is not public info elsewhere, which will be confirmed in the document release? Now is the time for her to spill that info if she has not already, if she is legit that is.
  19. Very interesting. I had not heard this before. https://whowhatwhy.org/2017/10/06/navy-doctor-bullet-found-jfks-limousine-never-reported/
  20. I would be interested in reviewing these documents. http://www.wfaa.com/features/14-boxes-of-jack-ruby-records-become-public-next-week/477719764
  21. One has to wonder, assuming this report is true, could this document have been utilized by the W.C. and if not, why? If Oswald was in D.C. in September, this document could have been proof of two things for the W.C. First, that he has a problem with authority and was not afraid to publicly confront someone over his views (see how he confronted the driver and continued to linger around). Second, that he was in D.C. in September, perhaps to stalk JFK? Yet, this report, to my knowledge, was not utilized by the W.C. As a trial attorney, I must ask "why" because it would have made sense to include it. Now, unless I am incorrect and it was cited by the W.C., then that answer to that why might be relevant to determine if he was being set up to look the part of the W.C. theme. Jim or Vince, perhaps you can elaborate?
  22. Is there a document or report which confirms that it was "Lee" who reported one of the alleged teams? In other words, is this based on a government document or someone stating it? Thanks.
  23. I actually worked on a Woody Harrelson movie, "Kingpin". He is a really good actor, was very nice on the set, and yes, he will be considered for his role in LBJ.
  24. Is anyone aware of any alias David Ferrie might have utilized? Thank you.
