Several witnesses in the kitchen where Robert Kennedy was shot have identified Ace security guard Eugene Thane Cesar of shooting Robert Kennedy while Sirhan caused a distraction.

Cesar is still alive and if i am not mistaken Mel Ayton has spoken with him and is sure that he did not shoot Kennedy (I could be wrong on Mel meeting him).

Cesar told the LAPD that he had worked for the Ace Security Company for 6 months before the shooting, whereas in reality he had only worked three jobs for them before the ambassador and never before in that particular hotel, as he told the investigation.

He was also in possession of a .22 calliber gun at the time of the killing. He has stated that he sold the gun before the assassination but the buyers receipt clearly shows the sale happened some months after the assassination, the gun was later stolen and never seen again.

Are we to believe Cesar? Is is possible to build a case against him if he is guilty of the murder?

I am writing this as i read the article and it is a re-hash of what Posner has written in the past.

Heres a few points.

-It was the king family who asked for the reparation of one dollar and it was not because the judge saw their claim as unworthy of a large settlement.

-Mr.Ayton excludes some of dr.peppers witnesses completely, not even mentioning Glenda Grabows account of how she was told by Raoul that he had killed or assissted in the killing of king and had been raped by him. The jury was shown a telephone record of a conversation between Grabow and Raoul months before the trial, the conversation was 6 minutes long, which would indicate that they knew each other.

-Ms.Grabow also worked for fercy foreman who told her that Ray had to be "sacrificed" for their welfare and told her that Ray was innocent.

-Beverly oliver, chari angel and madeleine brown all picked Raoul out of a photo line up as a man they saw with jack ruby in his carousel club

-FBI agent Don Wilson found in an abandoned Mustang shortly after the assassination a file of documents including a paylist for the assassination and a 1963 dallas telephone directory with H.L. hunts number on it, also with the number for the carousel club written in the corner. another sheet had the number of the FBI Atlanta field office

-Rays alias after he tried to escape 'eric s galt' belonged to a man with high level security clearance.

-A british man whose name i can not seem to remember testifid that he was offered rifles by raoul in the 60s

-one of dr.peppers miltary sources known as warren picked raoul out of a photo line up as the man he had seen with zip chimento who ran carlos marcellos gun running operation out of new orleans.

these are but a few of the points that Mr.Ayton does not acknowledge, though I am sure he is aware of them.

i must say that much of this article is not evidence based (at least he does not source any evidence and only states that Posner has disproved such notions about raoul etc)

I suggest that anybody interested in the case read Dr.Peppers 'an act of state, the execution of dr. martin luther king jnr.' It is an excellent book and goes into huge detail to rebut Mcmillan and Posner.

by the way George Mcmillan is the husband of priscilla McMillan who interviewd lee oswald in russia and stayed with marina oswald after the jfk assassination.

Hello all,

I have been working on my website on and off for a while now. I have had some difficulties but they are nearly all worked out.

Its not the finished product but its a start, I intend to add new articles weekly.

The website is designed to give somebody with no knowledge of the assassination a basic introduction into what happened and why there was a conspiracy.

The website features work from Richard J Smith, Pamela McElwain Brown, Wim Dankbaar, Stephen Turner, Barry Keane and myself.

I hope to post my work on the similarities on the assassination of MLK and JFK quite soon and add to it as time goes by.

Harper's. His book Spooks was one of the first to expose the

privatization of the US spying agencies. In 1984, he published Secret

Exactly what does it mean by privitization of spying agencies. am i to believe they are outsourcing intelligence? Bush never had any to outsource if you get my drift.

I think we are all in agreement that Howard Hunt is not going to give us a confession of his sins on his death bed.

I do however think that when he does pass away we may see more information released on his part in the assassination.

Victor Marchetti said that he saw a document suggesting a limited hangout involving Hunt, perhaps this may happen after Hunts death when he would be unable to release any damaging evidence in retaliation.

This would of course be highly censored and made to look as though Hunt pretty much orchestrated the assassination, but it would be a step in the right direction.

In the next few years it looks like the CIA is going to take on another form and possibly change name, this could be part of starting fresh and turning a new leaf.

In short what I am trying to suggest is that once howard hunt passes away, the CIA will release information linking hunt to the assassination which shows that he acted independently of the agency wiht cuban exiles.

I would think that this is quite plausible as it would give the CIA a more transparent and less ogreish look and also show that they have changed since those days.

I was rewatching '13 days', the Kevin Costner film there a few days ago and it only really hit me then how much Taylor and Lemay were trying to railroad JFK into going into Cuba.

It really showed how the pentagon did not come under the jurisdiction of the president.

Lemay bringing the country to defcom2, unauthorised by the president and also the testing of nuclear weapons during the crisis.

The hawks tried to intimidate Kennedy into going into Cuba. I think it was after the missile crisis that they said enough was enough and decided to take action.

No action on Cuba to them was unnacceptable.

I agree with Shanets 25th amendment scenario and I feel both Lemay and Taylor were key to this, having the authority to go to defcom2 would suggest that they had the power to sanction the removal of the commander in chief.

Today i went to JFKs ancestral home from which his great grandfather left to go to america in the 1800's . He visited Ireland in June 1963 and stopped in on his ralatives for a tea party.

JFKs trip to Ireland was a proud moment in Irish history and was the single most important visit to Ireland.

More than 500,000 came to Dublin to witness him.

I visited the Homestead and visitor centre, The JFK arboritum and national park, which is quite vast and beautiful and also the ship which bore Patrick Kennedy to America, the Dunbrody.

As I watched the footage of his trip, you could really see he was enjoying himself, indeed it was said to be the 4 happiest days of his life.

On a sad note he said these words, "I can imagine nothing more pleasant than day after day to drive through the streets of Dublin and wave- i may come back to do it" , he never was to see ireland again

In a strange co-incidence, his great grandfather died on the 22nd of November!

I must say that my visit fills me with hope that we can catch his killers and give him justice, and I hope that these are not idle words.

Theres more to JFK than his assassination, and I think we need to constantly reming ourselves what were fighting for and not let people drag his good name through the mud, men make mistakes.

I got the impression that the inhabitants of the homestead ( all kennedy relatives) believe in a conspiracy as they sell a huge poster detailing the conspiracy. It can be found at www.whokilledjfk-wallchart.com .

I was reading the book 'American Dynasty' by Kevin Philips which about the Bush family when I surprisingly came upon a reference to George De Mohrenschildt.

It seems like its easier to make connections between Oswald and Bush than would be thought. Not direct associations obviously!

The paragraph talks about Bush CIA links as early as 1954-55. Bruce damson said that "George Bush and Edwin Pauley (both CIA) were both listed in 1954-9155 in (CIA asset) George De Mohrenschildts personal address book which I obtained a copy of from the West Palm Beach Sheriffs office in 1992"

The book goes on to say 'In 1988, project censored, a journalistic consortium based in California, chose the probablitiy of george H.W. Bush being a CIA asset in 1963, when he ran Zapata offshore, as one of the "top 10 censored" stories that year'

Now hopefully, if the address book was available in 1992, it might be available today.

Me thinks that a nicely written letter to the west palm beach sherrifs office might be what the doctor ordered.

It being a censored story is another example of operation mockingbird.

Now this is hardly a tenuous link to the assassination. I am not insinuating guilt by associaion, but I am saying that Bush may have had a bigger hand in BOP than we give him credit for. For gods sake Batistas son now works with Jeb Bush in Florida!

I have been reading matthew Smiths new book 'The Kennedys- The conspiracy to destroy a dynasty' which details marilyn monroes murder, JFK and bobbys murders and chappaquiddick. I must say I have been waiting for a book like this to come along that deals with the kennedy 'curse' in this way.

Anyway Matthew smith has some interesting vies as to what oswald was to do after the assassination, assuming he didnt know it was going to happen.

'He was scheduled to leave the depository after the motorcade has passed and make his way to his lodgings, where he could change and pick up a revolver. He would meet a police officer at a designated rendezvous, whose task was to transport him in a police car to red bird airfield, where his plane and pilot would be waiting for him. As far as the conspirators were concerned, he had on ly to take off to confirm to the authorities that he had been the presidents assassin, sent by Castro, to whom he was attempting to return.'

To those unfamiliar with matthew smiths books 'jfk: the second plot' and 'jfk:say goodbye to america' , he had come in contact with Wayne January who worked at red bird in 1963 who told him of a Cuban man that was preparing his plane. The man told January that there was plot to kill the president and said something like I told you so afterwards. I dont think wayne january is his real name, as Smith says in his book.

Another part of the theory involves Tippit.

'Officer J.D. Tippit, although he didnt realise it was the hero of the hour. He was the police officer meant to take Lee Harvey Oswald to the small red bird airfield, only about a fifteen minute drive away , and he was entirely responsible for the 'Cuba' part of the conspirators plan going awry. Totally innocent in any part of the plot to kill the president. he had , no doubt, been listening to the APB put out while he was waiting to give a ride to this young CIA man who , he had been told, needed to get to red bird airfield at a time the traffic on the roads might prove troublesome. Officer Tippit began to think. Why had he been pressed into helping out when very other car had responded to instructions to proceed to downtown Dallas? What if this was all a cover for the presidents killer to make his escape.?'

He then theorises that Tippit wet to question the man he was to pick up, he was shot by a concealed man who was there to ensure that the pick-up went underway. Oswald and the killer ran in sererate directions.

Oswald was to have thought that his trip to Cuba was a genuine CIA mission, he went to the nearest theatre to meet his handler.

It is said in the book that a witness says that one man was escorted by police at the back of the theatre, perhaps this man was his contact?

Interesting speculation, but I dont understand why the conspirators would use Tippit if he was not in on it

Sometimes the most simple explanations are the correct ones,

Oswald didnt speak French, that would be a determining factor.

By getting to london it would be easier for him to get to Russia as there would be no language barrier.

I wanted to start a thread that discusses the dehumanization of unliked political figures, George Bush being the perfect example.

I was reading an article in the Sunday times today about Bonos(u2 front man) meeting with George Bush and how surprisingly he liked him and thought him to be charming and witty.

It is speculated that 9/11 was not carried out by islamic terrorists, but rather by people seeking to go to war in Iraq and take further control of the country. It is theorized that Bush knew about and was part of this plot, perhaps unwittingly.

My Question is, do we demonize people (like bush) to make it seem more likely in our own heads that he was capable of committing such a crime. Do not take this to be just about Bush, whoever it is believed carried out the attacks as part of a conspiracy.

Do we see them only as military or corporate hawks who sit around a circular desk all day plotting to take over the US, these people probably have families who like them and think them to be good people, though this would make it increasingly difficult for people to accept that they were part of a conspiracy.

Having said this, people that appear to be good and decent (or descent-see tim gratzs post on another thread) in their home lives may make decisions that they dont have to face up to or deal with head on in real life.

For example, people who orderes the napalm bombing of Vietnam, they saw only territory to be won and did not take into account the civilian casualties on the ground.

I guess if you were talking in economic terms, you would call this an externality whereby someone does something for their own good but, a third party is injured by that action.

I ask you all this in any instance, but most of all in the context of the JFK assassination and the '9/11 'conspiracy (i use inverted commas as i do not know if there was a conspiracy in this case)

Greg Parker has on another thread alluded to the possibility of Oswald being flown to Cuba after the assassination to link it with Castro.

I think this is quite plausible, it really ties in. Oswald goes to Cuban embassy to get visa for later date, he gives Marina what money he has as he knows that he will be going away.

I theorize that Oswald did not know about the assassination and was told that he was going to Cuba on the day in question. After the assassination he becomes suspicious and misses his appointment at the airport.

It is possible that one group involved in plotting the assassination wanted the assassination linked to castro and another group didnt, and so Oswald was given over to the police in the Texas Theatre so that the preplanned trip to Cuba would not go ahead and so stop the link between oswald and Castro.

I wonder who was to fly Oswald to Cuba..........Ferrie?

In an aside to this association, Hunt did have a very good relationship with JE Hoover. According to John Curington, Hunts right hand man during the 60s, Hunt actually had a direct line to Hoovers office. Hoover supplied information about MLK to Hunt who broadcast it in his 'lifeline' radio programmes which aired accross the country and portrayed King as a communist. Hunt pumped millions into this radio programme.

Hunt is reported to have been very close to Hoover, Nixon was only at times friendly with Hoover, perhaps it was because of Hunt's allegiance to hoover that he refused his money.

Sorry about that, I adapted the article from another article on wikipedia.org, I obviously left in a few details. I have since updated my Oswald profile including LN facts that present problems etc.I was having a sort of editing war with a guy who posted the warren commission view of events, he changed my article because he said it was biased, and I did the same. I am now currently getting sources together for a comprehensive article, editing any LN speculation such as "oswald was by now an out and out communist" and words to that effect and correcting any innaccuracies.
