Kennedy was “the overthrow of the government, it was coup d'état in America.” So declared Dr. Cyril Wecht, the famous forensic pathologist -- to the applause of about 300 people attending his presentation on the Kennedy assassination Tuesday night at DeSales University in Center Valley, Lehigh Co. “The assassination of John F. Kennedy was plotted and executed by people in this country,” said Wecht. http://www.wfmz.com/news/news-regional-lehighvalley/expert-cyril-wecht-calls-kennedy-assassination-a-coup/-/132502/21993392/-/view/print/-/15frgl0/-/index.html Edited September 23, 2013 by William Kelly

Now, the reporter has Wecht saying that Oswald "failed his first marksmanship test in the U.S. Marines." Is that really true? I'd never heard that before. If so, was it a qualification test? Important to keep the facts straight, yes? Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Oswald passed both of his marksmanship qualification tests. Also, I don't know that's it's been firmly established that the shots were fired in a span of "5.6 seconds" and that Connally was hit "1.5 seconds" after Kennedy was hit. Yes, I realize the important thing is that however long it was between the first and the second shots, it was quicker than the alleged 2.3 seconds required to eject a casing, chamber a new round, and fire that MC rifle. Otherwise, I agree with a lot of what Wecht says. --Tommy
Chris Newton Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 It was reported by his Marine buddies that in basic he used to get "Maggie's Drawers" all the time.
Thomas Graves Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 (edited) It was reported by his Marine buddies that in basic he used to get "Maggie's Drawers" all the time. Thanks Chris, Yes, I was aware of that. But in his recent presentation, Wecht apparently talked about Oswald's taking two "marksmanship tests," and said that Oswald "failed" the first one and got "the equivalent of a C-" on the second one. I'm claiming that Oswald passed both of them. Actually, not only did Oswald pass both of them, but he did a little bit better on the first one than on the second one!
