Glenn Nall
Not sure how many of you are aware of this pretty neat website - https://flashbackdallas.com/ - I came across it a while back somehow, and registered for Paula Bosse's periodic (daily/weekly?) newsletters which turn out to be historically quite interesting, to be sure. It seems Paula works very hard on this project - it's NOT JFK Assassin. related, BUT things pop up, and one never knows when or where "something" might pop up. I found some great history on the TSBD from this website (likely how I came across the Flashback Dallas, in fact...) For example: today's newsletter: The Adolphus by Moonlight https://flashbackdallas.com/2018/01/03/the-adolphus-by-moonlight/ Just thought I'd share this link - as I said, this girl works really hard and produces some terrific old shots (i.e. photos of the local Dallas news crew vehicles from I think 1963 WITH replies from older Dallas residents...) and info from Dallas. Ya'll enjoy (if you haven't already ) glenn Edited January 3, 2018 by Glenn Nall

If you do a search on her page for the 1960's, you can see some stills from a short clip of Jack Ruby combing his hair in front of the Green Department Store in downtown Dallas. https://flashbackdallas.com/category/1960s/ She also talks about ads for Minox cameras on sale for $75.00 as early as 1960. Thanks again. Steve Thomas

Michael Walton
An interesting website. I noticed the guy doing kids' TV down there in the 60s called Mr Peppermint. Growing up in the Cincinnati area, they had their own kid show called Uncle Al. I wonder who copied whom? Or was it all one big coincidence? Kirk Gallaway
Ok, some interesting stuff. Almost every city now has a site where they show you old pictures of their history and memorabilia, which is very cool. I guess you live along enough, even Dallas becomes "in". What a typical obnoxious redneck kid interviewing Jimi! (characterizing him as a high school dropout!) Screw you! He was almost saying, I haven't heard you play guitar but Dylan must be a big influence?????? Ok he did 2 songs from Dylan. Were they trying to bait Glenn Campbell to say something lame about the Smother's Brothers? I imagine they were very disappointed later when Glenn Campbell did a version of "Universal Soldier" Edited January 15, 2018 by Kirk Gallaway
