Ron Bulman
Please buy this book, read it, and review it on Amazon. I'm sorry I don't know where else to beg. That an American citizen has to plead on a UK based forum is indicative of the reason for my post. I know there are two other threads on the forum relating to it regarding it's lack of attention by the Main Stream Media and the CIA. Both extremely important aspects. But the book is so much more than that. It is History told Truthfully with the importance of morality and purpose intertwined. Once again I'm sorry, I'm gushing. Having a bit of an epiphany. But the book is important. And it's being suppressed. The name Kennedy has the power to draw attention to the subjects of current relevant events that the subjects discussed in it relate to. From the environment to dictators. It is an opportunity to reach a populace deprived of information needed to make informed interpretation of the world as we know it today. But exposure is needed, once again, please, buy and read it for yourself. Just the people here on the forum can make a difference. There are currently 26 reviews on amazon. But every one of them 5 star. Several more gushing than I. If 26 more people on the forum besides Lisa Pease and I bought the book, read it, and reviewed it that would be doubled. Not much, but a start. I'm buying copies for family, friend's, a few co workers and a staunch Republican, friend, I owe (not monetarily) and respect. I have faith the book will help spread a message in the long term. pg. 327. RE, RFK's opposition to the Vietnam War, early 1968. "The example of Nazi Germany haunted him. What made us so sure we were different from the Germans? At dinner he reminded us that Germany had been the best educated, most culturally advanced, most tolerant, most democratic nation in Europe when it's people elected Hitler as their chancellor." https://www.amazon.com/dp/0060848340?_encoding=UTF8&isInIframe=0&n=283155&ref_=dp_proddesc_0&s=books&showDetailProductDesc=1#product-description_feature_div https://www.amazon.com/American-Values-Lessons-Learned-Family/product-reviews/0060848340/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_show_all_btm?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=all_reviews https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RIXWMU6Y4LRUP/ref=cm_cr_othr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=0060848340 Edited June 29, 2018 by Ron Bulman

Ron Bulman
If a picture's worth a thousand words maybe the ones in the book and on the covers are worth the purchase price. I'd never read about their summer of 1964 European trip and the picture in Krakow square in Poland was a wow moment when I first saw it. The dead salamander in the oval office, campaigning in Philadelphia in 68 as well as with the Rams fearsome foursome in Watt's are classic as well. The back cover is perplexing, not described that I found, attributed to the Lowe estate. Upon first glance I thought it might be the same moment JFK JR was saluting his dad during the funeral parade then I thought RFK's in that picture beside Jackie. Which he is. https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=7N3HIk41&id=A77D5D50C4FFF32D68F6486615F3EB4E03DDB25B&thid=OIP.7N3HIk41p_Iyklz5yuXOEgHaIu&mediaurl=https%3a%2f%2f2.bp.blogspot.com%2f-V9WgIeNIlPc%2fV9Hl5iIpzbI%2fAAAAAAAAK-8%2fe1MkLyAN5tc_2cRSto3HabUtxPH0irLIwCLcB%2fs1600%2fjohn_kennedy_salute_1963.jpg&exph=1600&expw=1358&q=jfk+jr+salute&simid=607987755996283218&selectedIndex=8&ajaxhist=0 I still wonder if it might not be from that day at a different time and location. The sadness in RFK's eyes is haunting in addition to his passing salute, goodbye wave (?). RFK Jr's two fingered cub scout salute looking up is both confounding and confusing. Ron Bulman
I remember the rider less horse. I'd just turned seven. School dismissed early on Friday with the teacher crying. No cartoons on Saturday. Watching a funeral parade in black and white with my parents on Sunday, all I remember but the horse. RFKII describes the funeral in much more personal detail. The horse was named Black Jack after General Pershing. Daddy, why is the guy leading the horse with no rider? Why the empty boots in the stirrup's facing backwards? It was confusing. pg. 272. "Mesmerized, I studied the riderless ebony funeral horse that followed the caisson with empty boots mounted backward in the stirrups-the symbol of a fallen prince looking back over his truncated life. ...Black Jack never stopped bucking, furiously throwing his head and dancing wildly as his sleek coat shimmered black in the cold November sunlight. I could see the Army brand on his neck."... "dating back to Genghis Kahn, the riderless horse has symbolized a fallen hero who would ride no more." Ron Bulman
This pisses me off. If you google say Destiny Betrayed it pops right up on Amazon. https://www.bing.com/search?q=destiny+betrayed&form=PRUSEN&mkt=en-us&httpsmsn=1&refig=936c752b79a14359b9980ede4f76a379&sp=-1&pq=destiny+betrayed&sc=4-16&qs=n&sk=&cvid=936c752b79a14359b9980ede4f76a379 If you google Someone Would Have Talked you get this. https://www.bing.com/search?q=someone+would+have+talked&form=PRUSEN&mkt=en-us&httpsmsn=1&refig=936c752b79a14359b9980ede4f76a379&sp=1&qs=AS&pq=someone+wou&sc=8-11&cvid=936c752b79a14359b9980ede4f76a379 If you google American Values you get this. https://www.bing.com/search?q=American+Values&form=PRUSEN&mkt=en-us&httpsmsn=1&refig=936c752b79a14359b9980ede4f76a379&sp=-1&pq=american+values&sc=8-15&qs=n&sk=&cvid=936c752b79a14359b9980ede4f76a379 They're not trying to sell or support the book on the world wide web or amazon. They're trying to suppress it. So much for American Freedom, Of The Press, in the days of the 1% owned Main Stream Media. Happy celebration of Freedom, on the 4th of July. Thanks to all who gave their lives for it. Including JFK, RFK, MLK and the unknown soldier's. As well as those who have suffered otherwise in America's behalf. Ron Bulman
So all that traditional crap about Joe Kennedy Sr. being a prohibition era smuggler of spirits is just that. Crap.
Paul Brancato
You know what I wonder? Eugene Dinkin said he sent a certified letter to RFK warning him of the impending assassination of his brother. Has RFK Jr. ever heard Dinkin’s story?

Paul Brancato
Ron - Thank you. Esteemed members of this forum: American Values is one of the best and most important books I’ve read in my lifetime. If you haven’t read it yet, treat yourself now, purchase it, read it, spread the word. Ron is absolutely right - the book is being suppressed. There is a very fine, brief review of it on Jim DiEugenio’s website Kennedysandking. But one must read it to get the full picture. We’ve been lied to about the Kennedy family for so long and in so many ways. RFK Jr dispels these false myths and explains in detail how they came about. Paul Brancato
I guess, like Ron, I’ll try to keep this thread alive for now. How about readers just say I’ve read it, or I haven’t but will, or I’m not interested?
James DiEugenio
Its a good book and also a courageous book. RFK Jr is the first member of the Kennedy family to take a step forward on this issue in print. He deserves a lot of credit for that. In that respect he really does remind me of his father. And let not forget, his work on the Skakel case turned that case around and his cousin is now out of prison. Finally, he also helped win the Monsanto/Round Up case last week. James DiEugenio
Paul: Where are your priorities? We have people posting stuff about Marilyn Monroe, Jimmy Hoffa, plus--drum build up please-- someone just got "the box from 1963", whatever the heck that means. And you want to talk about the only member of the Kennedy family to ever write a book concerning the murders of his father and his uncle? And the guy happens to be an accomplished attorney, who just helped defeat Monsanto for 290 million? That's the real world.
