CAPA announcement about virtual conference

Recommended Posts

In April CAPA announced that we would have an in-person conference this year, depending on the virus situation. Unfortunately, it has become clear that this situation is not going away any time soon and it will not be possible for us to have an in-person conference. We are very disappointed. However, we will be having a virtual conference instead. We are in the process of working out the details. Here is a rough outline of the program so far:

We are planning to have at least a half-day, and possibly longer, on the subject of “The JFK Assassination and the Media,” a topic that has not been discussed and investigated by the mainstream media. We will be showing a documentary by John Barbour entitled “The American Media & the 2nd Assassination of John F. Kennedy” and will also have a panel discussion on the issue. Dr. Cyril Wecht will be on the panel along with John Barbour, James Wagenvoord (who worked at Life Magazine in 1963), Russ Baker, Mark Crispin Miller (Professor of media studies at New York University) and others to be determined. Andrew Kreig has volunteered to moderate the panel.

Dr. Wecht will speak about his new book coming out shortly.
Tink Thompson will speak about his upcoming book (tentative).
Judge Brandon Birmingham and Toby Shook will speak about the Ruby trial.
James Wagenvoord will speak about his experiences working at Life magazine in 1963. He spoke last year but has much more to share.
Russell Kent (who holds a BSc honours degree in physiology from the University of London and joined the Laboratory of Applied Physiology at St Thomas's Hospital Medical School), will speak about the House Select Committee on Assassinations Forensic Pathology Panel: how it was formed, how it worked and some of its conclusions.
We are hoping to screen a portion of Oliver Stone’s new documentary coming out this year.

Also, this year we are planning a special day for high school, college, and law school students. This will be held on Sunday November 22.  We want to get more young people interested in this tragic event that changed the course of our country and hopefully enlist them in our cause. We are planning a program that will give them the opportunity to see what President Kennedy was like as a person and a president and educate them about the truth of the assassination. The event will be free to students attending high schools, universities and law schools.

We are working on other possibilities for the conference and will provide further updates as we proceed closer to the date of the conference. We encourage everyone to join or renew their membership to receive a discount on the 2020 virtual conference.  New members will receive free access to the videos of the 2019 conference which includes the following presentations: Court of Inquiry (Lee Harvey Oswald), Rolf Larsson (former CIA), Judge Birmingham (Ruby trial), Andrew Kiel (J. Edgar Hoover, LBJ and the Secret Service), John Newman (Turning Antonio Veciana’s Misdirection into a Roadmap), Oliver Stone (remarks), Dr. Cyril Wecht (keynote) (Post JFK, RFK, MLK Related Deaths – Circumstantial or Orchestrated?).

Thank you all for your support of CAPA and its  worthy cause - Pursue the release of withheld records -  Find the Truth -  Seek Justice.

Best regards

Cyril Wecht, Josiah Thompson and the Main Stream Media all have one thing in common: they’ve all spent the last 55 years or so ignoring or denying the fact JFK was shot in the back at T3.

When is the JFKA Master Class going to remove its head from prostate adjacence on the prima facie case for conspiracy?

Wecht and Thompson?  New books but old news?  Who are Judge Birmingham and Shook, what do they know about Ruby, why is his trial that relevant to thee assassination?  it's interesting and part of the cover up.  A London Physiologist on the HSCA regarding Forensics, has he studied the subject extensively?

If they preview Destiny Betrayed by Oliver Stone a prologue by Jim DiEugenio might be appropriate.  As this is virtual I can think of several author interview's that would be be relevant and interesting from David Talbot to Larry Hancock for starters.

I wouldn't expect many high school, college or law school students based on current interest unless your targeting specific ones with information.

Find the Truth - Seek Justice.  Best of luck.  Mask up in DP 2020.
