  1. The demolition of the original Parkland Hospital building started this summer, and is expected to be a nearly two-year process. was just wondering if any forum members who visited Dallas this week stopped by Parkland to check on the progress. if anyone has pics or video of what’s happening at the Parkland demo site, please share in this thread. Thanks! WFAA-TV report on Parkland demolition
  2. There is a weak consensus among CTers that since Lee Harvey Oswald did not shoot at JFK, then he "could not have" shot at General Walker, as if there is some real connection between the two. I have maintained for six years on this Forum that Lee Harvey Oswald was not one of the JFK shooters -- nevertheless, he certainly was one of two shooters at General Walker. My material evidence for this claim, ironically, comes from General Walker himself, in a letter he wrote to Senator Frank Church in 1975. Here is the letter: http://www.pet880.com/images/19750623_EAW_to_Frank_Church.pdf It is precisely because of the content of this letter that General Walker tracked Lee Harvey Oswald from April 1963 through November 1963, including the Mexico City episode. General Walker, I propose, planned both the deaths of JFK and of Lee Harvey Oswald to occur on 11/22/1963. All best, --Paul P.S. After some weeks into this thread, it became clear that to speak of General Walker was to speak of the Dallas Radical Right, and thus to include more people in Dallas than only Walker and Oswald. Dallas Officials who testified to the Warren Commission became a special target of this expansion, so the title of this thread was changed in early April to include "Dallas Officials."
  3. I would be interested to read informed comments about the European edition of the Overseas Weekly and connections to Eugene Bernald who bought time for American religious broadcasts on international radio stations. But Edwin A. Walker specifically named Bernald as the person out to tar him with the brush of the John Birch Society and thereby oust him from his job. This is the same Edwin Walker that Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly took a pot shot at, before he allegedly shot Kennedy and Tippett.
  4. After a very short googlesearch, I chose Flickr of all sites, to get some photos online. If of any interest to anyone. * Everything is taken from a 12 year old harddisk,- so many, if not all of the photos are guaranteed to be available today elsewhere, in much better resolutions. ** Have tried to sort for a few hours,- but it in itself is still terrible. *** Included one album with photos I took with my phone , of a Norwegian magazine, - published December 7th. 1963, concerning the assassination. ( My grandmother scared my mother (8 years old) - stiff, - when getting the news of JFK's death,- screaming and running back and forth between the kitchen and the livingroom. My mother says she acted like a family member had died. An example of what an impact JFK made around the world, - even up here in northern Norway, - north of the polar circle. Back then they had radio. Not sure if they had gotten a tv yet. No cellphones, no internet.) My mother's mother, - kept this magazine, and gave it to me. **** Included one album (even though it has nothing to do with the assassination) - from when LBJ, -- ridiculously enough, was scheduled to meet my father's uncle's family, on his visit to my/their hometown Bodø, - September 10th. 1963, - roughly 2 months before JFK was assassinated. My father, and his cousin (my father's uncle's daugher) explained that he actually turned down the LBJ - visit ( if it is true, - I can not prove, - but still kinda fun to think about (for me). He was traumatized in WW2, and felt it would be too much hassle,- with all the police, SS, etc. ). LBJ ended up visiting their neighbours instead. ***** Snapshots of the harddisk from the stoneage included. The Collection : https://www.flickr.com/photos/153357684@N03/albums ( Hope this one will be up longer , than the last attempt, which lasted for half a day ) .
  5. A document exists, written by William Harvey, connecting somehow the Carcano said utilized by Oswald in Dallas and Giulio Andreotti, a very famous Italian politician. I'm opening this thread in order to discuss this subject here
  6. Jones Harris is still alive and he is the person who began the questions about whether Lee Harvey Oswald was standing on the steps of the Book Depository the moment that Kennedy was shot. This raised the question of how LHO could be in two places at once. Then it spawned the Billy Lovelady controversy. From there we ended up with two people: Lee Oswald and Harvey Oswald. What is the current strength / weakness of this form of speculation?

  8. Combining Jeff Caufield's recent Walker-did-it CT (2015) with the testimony of Harry Dean and Sylvia Odio, I find many points in common. Harry Dean is certain that his friends in the Radical Right in Southern California in 1963 were connected with Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) through General Edwin Walker. Although Harry Dean himself never met LHO, he did know two Hispanic Americans, Loran Hall and Larry Howard, who used the war names, "Lorenzo and Alonzo." Harry Dean claims that he helped Loran Hall and Larry Howard load a trailer with military supplies for mercenaries planning to shell Cuba in Right-wing raids. They collected funds and supplies from John Birch Society supporters in Southern California, and stored them in the garage of war-hero Gabby Gabaldon. Gabaldon was also Harry Dean's personal friend, and a heroic figure to Loran and Larry. Some of these supplies might go to Interpen, to La Sambra, to Lake Pontchartrain, or to Cuba raid camps in Miami. In any case, Harry Dean's memoirs say that one day in mid-September, Gabby Gabaldon received a large cash donation from California Congressman John Rousselot, and he gave part of this to Loran and Larry. After their trailer was loaded, Gabaldon gave Loran and Larry instructions to park the trailer somewhere, and pick up LHO in New Orleans, and drive LHO to Mexico City by going through Dallas, by September 26, 1963. According to Harry Dean, on their way to Mexico City, for some reason Loran, Larry and LHO decided to stop and visit Sylvia Odio. Sylvia thought the two Hispanic men were Cuban, and she remembered their war names as "Leopoldo and Angelo", though she also admitted that her memory was vague about their names. But she did remember that they introduced the American as Leon Oswald. This is what Sylvia Odio told the Warren Commission. Sylvia said of the two Hispanic men, one was taller (Lorenzo), looked Cuban, and did most of the talking in Spanish. The other was heavier and more hairy (Alonzo) and looked more Mexican than Cuban. In fact, Larry Howard was a heavy, hairy Mexican American from Southern California. Loran Hall was a slimmer, taller, Cuban-American from Kansas. So, Harry Dean is certain that Loran Hall and Larry Howard were with Lee Harvey Oswald at Sylvia Odio's door, on or about September 25, 1963. What was their business at her door? Sylvia told the Warren Commission -- and in December 1963 had told James Hosty -- that their purpose seemed to be based on a mistaken information that she, Sylvia, had the ability to recommend that JURE (the anti-Castro group of which she was a member) accept new members. So they tried for a long time to persuade her that "Leon Oswald" would be perfect to help JURE with their goals to overthrow Fidel Castro. Sylvia didn't have that power, and she didn't trust these guys, but she did hear them out for about 20 minutes on her front porch of her apartment before she sent them away empty-handed. She also wrote to her father in a Cuban jail cell to tell him about their visit. We have her father's reply (which the Cuban government permitted to be mailed 10 weeks later). In any case, the next day, after work, Leopoldo called Sylvia Odio on the telephone, and again tried to persuade her to accept Leon Oswald into JURE. Leopoldo tried two tactics: the direct tactic, and when that didn't work, a negative tactic, i.e. he said that Leon told him that Cubans didn't have any guts; that they should have shot JFK after the Bay of Pigs, because it was JFK who was holding back the freedom of Cuba. Then Leopoldo said that Leon was "kind of loco" and was a Marine sharpshooter who said it would be easy to kill that SOB. Sylvia Odio knew very well that JURE wanted to topple Fidel Castro from power -- but she also knew that being a member of an organization like JURE meant being very careful not to allow anybody to infiltrate the organization, even if they have a good story. Sylvia was disturbed by this telephone call, and just hung up. She told her priest and her psychiatrist about it, and later told the FBI and the Warren Commission. Now -- how does all this fit in with Jeff Caufield's recent Walker-did-it CT -- that's the question. It seems to me that Harry Dean, like Jeff Caufield, is portraying LHO among the Radical Right in politics, in which his Leftist Persona was just a cover. This corresponds with the Hardway-Lopez Report (2003) which reveals FOIA documents from the CIA that portray LHO with a Fake FPCC resume in Mexico City, trying to get easy access into Cuba -- which failed to impress the Cuban Consulate and USSR Embassy staff. What was LHO doing in Mexico City? According to the Consulate staff, LHO was trying to sneak into Cuba, disguised as an FPCC officer. It is likely, IMHO, that LHO planned (in cooperation with Guy Banister and Ed Butler) to meet an Anti-Castro team in Cuba, and join their efforts. If this is true then we can also explain why Loran, Larry and LHO stopped by to visit Sylvia Odio on September 25, 1963 -- namely -- to have an alternate plan in case the Fake FPCC resume plan did not work in Mexico City. If Sylvia Odio could have introduced LHO to JURE, then they might have hustled LHO into Cuba in their own ways. This also corresponds to Marina Oswald's (and Ron Lewis') claim that LHO talked about hijacking an airplane to Cuba in early September 1963, and sat in his kitchen and cried. It seems that LHO was under tremendous pressure to get into Cuba. Very likely LHO was offered a lot of money for this mission, and he had no job, and his young wife was pregnant with their second baby, and LHO was desperate. LHO was probably also promised that if he was successful in his Cuba mission, he would get a full-time job with the CIA or the equivalent. The pressure was on. Yet at the same time, the danger was high. Richard Case Nagell, a CIA-KGB double-agent, warned LHO that if he succeeded in getting into Cuba, Nagel would have to shoot LHO dead. The pressure was on. In conclusion: I accept Jeff Caufield's Walker-did-it CT which portrays extensive new evidence of a Radical Right conspiracy in the JFK assassination, and I accept his portrait of LHO as a double-agent wannabe, who would do anything to infiltrate Cuba and assassinate Fidel Castro. The Fake FPCC in New Orleans had no other purpose. It is no coincidence that this correct solution to the JFK mystery also confirms the eye-witness accounts from both Harry Dean and Sylvia Odio. Regards, --Paul Trejo
  9. IMHO, the big difference between these two photos is that Oswald (left) has his entire body turned to his right, whereas Roscoe White (right) has his upper body "squared" to the camera. Therefore it's not fair to say that the overall "lean" of their bodies is the same. Did the person (Oswald?) who faked the photo on the right intentionally do so in a way that screamed "fake"? (Along the lines of having Oswald hold two ideologically incompatible "Communist" newspapers?) Or was he / she just grossly incompetent? [credit: DVP] -- Tommy
  10. Good Day.... FYI.... http://www.courthousenews.com/2016/01/25/conspiracy-theorist-entitled-to-foia-fees.htm <QUOTE> Courthouse News Service Conspiracy Theorist Entitled to FOIA Fees By JACK BOUBOUSHIAN (CN) - A reporter who fought the CIA for over 10 years to force it to release documents related to the Kennedy assassination is entitled to attorney's fees even if the records reveal little new information, the D.C. Circuit ruled. Former Washington Post reporter Jefferson Morley has spent years investigating a potential link between a deceased CIA officer and accused Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. Morley asked for records on George Joannides, the chief of psychological warfare operations in the CIA's Miami station at the time of the assassination. On the his website jfkfacts.com, Morley writes that Joannides controlled the Revolutionary Cuban Student Directorate, also known as the DRE, "one of the largest and most effective anti-Castro groups in the United States." He claims Joannides gave the group up to $25,000 a month and insisted the members "submit to CIA discipline." Members of the Directorate had an allegedly contentious relationship with Oswald, an ex-Marine who idolized Castro. They confronted Oswald on a street corner, "stared him down in a courtroom," challenged him to a radio debate and called on Congress to investigate him, Morley claims. Unsure of what to make of Joannides-DRE-Oswald connection, Morley asked for Joannides' personnel file. He says the CIA gave him 150 pages of "heavily redacted and obviously incomplete records." The CIA claimed it withheld information on privacy grounds or because it couldn't find the requested files. But in 2007, the D.C. Circuit ordered the CIA to look again. "Despite its burden to show that withholding is necessary, the CIA has failed even to articulate the privacy interests in the records, let alone demonstrate that such privacy interests meet the standard for an agency's withholding" under the exemption, the court wrote. The agency has to show that disclosure would constitute a "clearly unwarranted" invasion of personal privacy. The CIA eventually turned over several hundred documents, including travel records and a photograph, the value of which is "at best unclear," the D.C. Circuit said Friday. According to Morley, the records revealed that Joannides received a Career Intelligence Medal just two years after "stonewalling congressional investigators about what he knew of contacts in 1963 between accused assassin Lee Oswald and CIA-funded anti-Castro exiles in New Orleans." Morley sought attorney's fees as the prevailing party in the litigation, but a federal judge denied him, finding that Morley's efforts "yield little, if any, public benefit." On appeal, the D.C. Circuit agreed that "the released documents appear to reveal little, if anything, about President Kennedy's assassination." However, it said the court's job was not to evaluate the public value of the information received, but the potential value of what documents Morley sought. "Morley's request had potential public value. He has proffered - and the CIA has not disputed - that Joannides served as the CIA case officer for a Cuban group, the DRE, with whose officers Oswald was in contact prior to the assassination. Travel records showing a very close match between Joannides's and Oswald's times in New Orleans might, for example, have (marginally) supported one of the hypotheses swirling around the assassination,"U.S. Circuit Judge Stephen Williams said, writing for the three-judge panel. It was therefore plausible that Morley's documents request could have generated useful new information on Kennedy's assassination, "an event with few rivals in national trauma in the array of passionately held conflicting explanations," Williams said. 11. When I joined the JFK Forum back in 2011, I announced my interest in Ron Lewis and his book, FLASHBACK: The Untold Story of Lee Harvey Oswald (1993). I contacted Ron Lewis back in 2007, and transformed his book into a screenplay. Briefly, Ron tells his true story of his friendly relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald in New Orleans during the summer of 1963. (Academic reviews of our screenplay informed us that there wasn't enough female participation in the story to generate the necessary human interest. Both Ron and I had to agree. Yet the only relevant female character in that story would have been Marina Oswald. To include Marina Oswald into this documentary screenplay would (in common courtesy) require Marina's permission to use her Warren Commission testimony as part of our screenplay. Yes, I know that the Warren Commission is part of the public domain, but I prefer social courtesies to strictly business.) Anyway -- I find FLASHBACK to be basically believable, and evidently so did Oliver Stone, because he briefly engaged Ron Lewis as a consultant for his movie, JFK (1991). For those of you who haven't read Ron's book, yet, here's a brief summary of his claims: 1. Ron was a dishonorably discharged Marine who was also on the lam for passing bad checks in Seattle and Texas, and during the summer of 1963 he was living in New Orleans as a meat packer. (Ron had learned his meat packing skills early in life, and he knew that he could travel anywhere in the USA and be accepted immediately in almost any meat packing plant in America.) 2. Although Ron had a family in the Northwest, he lived alone in a small duplex in New Orleans and he walked to work. 3. On his way to work one day, he met Lee Harvey Oswald handing out FPCC handbills near the Reilly Coffee Company. Ron was interested in Cuba at the time, so he struck up a conversation with Oswald. 4. They had much in common. Lee invited Ron to become further involved in local politics, and Ron thought might be fun, so he agreed. 5. Over the course of that summer in 1963, Ron learned a lot about Lee Harvey Oswald and the life that Lee had been keeping secret from Marina Oswald -- including a young girl on the side (probably Judyth Vary Baker, though Ron never met her personally). Ron never met Marina Oswald, personally at that time. 6. Ron did meet David Ferrie and Guy Banister -- once -- and worked for Guy Banister through Lee Harvey Oswald on a project to keep tabs on the political campaigns of Russell Long and his family. 7. Once, at Guy Banister's offices, Lee showed Ron a cache of illegal arms and explosives that Banister and Ferrie were accumulating on behalf of Cuban Exile revolutionary groups in New Orleans. 8. Ron and Lee remained fairly close during the summer of 1963, meeting each other in the mornings as Ron would walk to work, and sharing stories about the Marines, politics and guns -- Lee's favorite topics. 9. Throughout much of the summer of 1963, Ron Lewis believed that Lee Harvey Oswald was a left-wing activist, however, by the closing weeks of the summer, Oswald appeared to Ron Lewis to have changed into a right-wing activist. This was puzzling to Ron. 10. Ron was especially puzzled in August, 1963, when he saw Lee Oswald carrying his rifle in a bulky bag to a Russell Long speech. He could hardly understand Lee's reasoning during this period. 11. Ron watched as Lee went through many emotional changes, including trying to get Ron to help him hijack a plane to Cuba -- for a very unclear reason. 12. When Ron pressed Lee, he learned that Guy Banister had discovered that Lee was the shooter at resigned General Edwin Walker on 10 April 1963, and Banister was using this information to blackmail Oswald to do anything Banister demanded. 13. Ron claims that after Lee moved to Dallas, he still saw Lee one more time in New Orleans. On that occasion, Lee told Ron some vague details about his trip to Mexico, and about Guy Banister's plans to use Roscoe White to murder JFK in Dallas. 14. Lee also warned Ron, in very callous terms, to keep all this information secret. Lee was so callous about it, that Ron was glad to be rid of Lee at last. 15. Ron says he would have forgotten about Lee Oswald, except that the world went nuts when JFK was murdered later that same year. That's the basic story, in a nutshell. Several writers have found Ron Lewis to be believable. I find him believable in these basics. Ron doesn't go to the lengths of Judyth Vary Baker to make their brief relationship of a few weeks into a life-changing drama -- but sometimes Ron does try to give the impression that his friendship with Lee Harvey Oswald was something special to them both. I'd like to hear from others who have read Ron Lewis' book, FLASHBACK (1993), to discuss its merits and possible points of debate. Best regards, --Paul Trejo

  13. (QUOTE) Salon Attempts to Paint Avowed Communist Lee Harvey Oswald as a “Right Winger” By: Leon H. Wolf (Diary) July 24th, 2014 at 09:00 PM Via Salon today http://www.salon.com/2014/07/24/texas_gun_nuts_scary_ritual_how_hatred_of_a_president_turned_profane/ comes one of the most truly bizarre pieces of revisionist history I have ever seen, even within the context of articles appearing at Salon. The basic outline of the piece is as follows: 1. Dallas in 1963 was full of crazy right-wingers; 2. These people had guns; 3. John F. Kennedy was shot in Dallas in 1963; 4. Barack Obama likewise has many right-wingers who oppose him; therefore 5. It’s only a matter of time before one of them shoots him. The baseless appeal to sensationalism and emotionalism is the primary (and usually only) tool in the gun control advocate’s toolbox. To that end, I have to admit that this is well played on Salon’s part; every reasonable person of all political stripes in America is legitimately terrified at the prospect of President Joe Biden. The problem (as always, when dealing with a gun control advocate) is that reason, logic and history demand a completely opposite conclusion. Let us grant for just a moment that Dallas in 1963 was full of various fringe right-leaning groups that were well armed. I don’t know; it might or might not be true. I’m not a Dallas historian and it’s not really relevant to the point of this post. The point is that factually, John F. Kennedy was killed by an avowed communist because of that communist’s belief that Kennedy was too tough on commies. These are not facts that are in reasonable dispute. Even if you are one of the grassy knoll people you have to concede Lee Harvey Oswald’s place as at least one of the shooters which means that, without a doubt, Kennedy was killed by left-wing extremists not right-wing extremists. In an especially delicious bit of irony, while trying to somehow pin Kennedy’s death on the anti-communists, they omit mentioning that seven months before assassinating Kennedy, Oswald attempted to assassinate one of the most prominent anti-communists in Dallas, General Edwin Walker. What’s that you say, Salon mentioned General Walker? So they did – only, they mentioned him as one of the right wing zealots who posed a threat to Kennedy when he visited: Over the next three years the simmer burst into a full boil as various luminaries of the John Birch Society such as millionaire oil man H.L. Hunt and the anti-communist fanatic Gen. Edwin Walker, a zealot so far to the right that he even believed Eisenhower was a communist, fanned the flames of anti-Kennedy hatred. Walker was at the center of the plot against Adlai Stephenson to which Mrs. Doyle referred in her letter. He had exhorted his followers (some of whom belonged to group that unironically called itself the “National Indignation Convention”) to confront the U.N. ambassador when he came to town and they did, hitting him with signs and spitting in his face before he could be rescued by the police. Truly, the mind boggles. All of this of course misses the point, which is that if gun control could be expected to be effective anywhere it would be in the zone of a Presidential visit. No one at all can legally carry a gun within the range of secret service clearance for a Presidential visit. Which is to say nothing of the absurdity of supposing that someone who was willing and committed enough to assassinate the President – an endeavor which history shows is almost certain to end in the death or indefinite incarceration of the assassin – would be somehow deterred by the threat of a citation for failure to obtain the proper carry permits. This entire article is a nonsensical mishmash of broken logical connections, slander, and outright historical ignorance. But this is what passes for argument these days among the circle of committed gun control enthusiasts, as it does among the left in general. Thankfully, at least on the issue of guns. Americans seem to have retained their basic common sense. (END QUOTE) Best Regards in Research, + ++Don Donald Roberdeau United States Navy U.S.S. John F. 14. In 2000, I was in pursuit of identifying the suited individual who is pictured crouching on the south side of Elm Street next to Buddy Walthers and a uniformed Dallas Police Department Supervisor (as evidenced by the white cap) at approximately 12:40 pm, just ten minutes after the shots were fired. The man appears to be picking up an object from the grass. The object allegedly was a spent .45 caliber slug. My late friend, a retired Officer from the Criminal Intelligence Section of the Dallas Police Department, J. Harrison, referred me to another retired Dallas PD Officer: Gerald Hill. J told me, “Hill probably knows who the guy is. He knows more about this case than almost anyone because he was everywhere that day, but he won’t talk to anybody about it anymore. I’ll tell him to talk to you.” And so he did talk to me. Article and audio interview on my main website. Gerald Hill held great disdain, nor for JFK, but for Lyndon Johnson. “It’s a dang shame [LBJ] wasn’t a target…’cause he was an obnoxious, sorry, no good politician.” -- from interview with Gerald Hill
  15. Today, I'm releasing for digital download a highly revealing and long-overlooked six-hour audio recording of George de Mohrenschildt speaking about his relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald. On February 14, 1969, de Mohrenschildt sat down with his wife Jeanne and Dutch journalist Willem Oltmans to record on audiotape the draft manuscript for a planned book on Oswald. He felt he'd been unfair to Oswald in his Warren Commission testimony and wanted to set the record straight. Nine tapes were recorded over two days to help pitch the book to publishers. Eight years later, as de Mohrenschildt was to be called before the HSCA, Oltmans tried to use the tapes to implicate his friend George in Kennedy's murder. Within days, de Mohrenschildt was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in an apparent suicide. These recordings formed the basis for the unpublished manuscript I am a Patsy! found in his possessions after his death and address many of the myths around his relationship with Oswald. My film Killing Oswald draws on these tapes but I couldn't find anyone in the research community or at the Oltmans archive in Holland who had a complete set of these recordings. After finally tracking down the full set, I'm releasing it today on Amazon, iTunes and Google Play, so de Mohrenschildt's take on Oswald is more widely available to researchers. There's a short teaser for the release here: vimeo.com/103542703 As a companion to these recordings, I would recommend The Faux Baron, two new volumes on de Mohrenschildt by Nancy Weiford, which include a chapter on these tapes. Best, Shane
  16. [paraphrased] Article and audio interview: "Dick Billings (Life Magazine) gave me the Minox camera that I gave to Eduardo Perez (Bayo) that turned up in Oswald's room."

  18. How a Master Planner Became a Monster Plotter by Greg Burnham This document is an analysis of James Jesus Angleton’s obsession with assumed KGB penetration into high levels of the CIA and how that obsession impacted the functioning of the Agency. Subjects covered include Lee Harvey Oswald, Yuriy Nosenko, Anatoliy Golitsyn, and Dimitriy Polyakov, among others.
  19. Walking around in Dallas and New Orleans makes a man hungry and thirsty. In my new blog I wrote about places to visit when in need for a beer or a burger. All places have a relation to key players of the events in November, 1963. I'm curious: who has ever visit The Ozzie Rabbit Lodge, Lee Harvey’s, Campisi’s, Henry’s Uptown Bar and Le Bon Temps Roule? http://threeshotswerefired.com/?p=1290 And who can answer my question: do we know if Oswald was a frequent visitor of bars? The New Orleans bars claim he was a regular. He doesn’t seem like one in my eyes, being a loner with an empty wallet...
  20. Last month I visited Pat Hall of 1026 North Beckley Avenue in Dallas. She revealed some of her thoughts to me, on what in her opinion happened after 1 pm. Wrote about it on my website: http://threeshotswerefired.com/?p=1134 (also some pics on that page). Highlights: “There is a traffic light right in front on the rooming house. I think the cop that honked twice when Oswald was in his room, only wanted to alert a slow driver in front of him.” "I think Oswald may have taken Crawford Street when he walked to the corner of 10th and Patton. Not Beckley Avenue, like most of the sources say." "You can definitely reach 10th and Patton from here within 13 minutes. No doubt." “I think the encounter of Oswald and Tippit had nothing to do with the assassination of Kennedy. Tippit was in the neighbourhood because of a reported burglary. Oswald acted suspicious in his eyes, gazing around, looking terrified. Maybe Tippit thought he caught the burglar, when he stopped his car near the intersection of Tenth Street and Patton Avenue.”
  21. In a Washington Post article published today we learn that several death penalty cases are being reviewed because the forensic science or "science" behind the convictions is not very convincing. The WaPo begins by criticizing hair analysis and how FBI testimony makes up "matches" where none exist: Is the technique used to positively identify the pubic hair allegedly found in the Paines' house considered scientifically valid today? Can it be included among the exaggerations explained above?
