No there is no evidence of this at all. Funny too that she does not really mention the headshot, perhaps it was so horrible that she went into shock and blocked it out. This is the first real evicence I have seen of tamapering with the film. I have asked Bill Miller and David Healy ( or anyone) to simply list several reasons both for and against said tampering. But whenever this- ( alleged Z film alteration)-becomes a discussion it devolves into name calling and I don't read it. Of course just because Jackie testified that she and the president were "down" in the car does not make it a fact. The horror of that day may have scrambled a lot. Dawn

Legend has it that Warren left the meeting with LBJ in tears, finally assenting to heading the commission. Legend further has it that these tears were for the fallen president and/or the concept of 40 million dead. I have alsways thought they had something on Warren and it was blackmail, thus the tears. Anyone ever learn if Warren had some deep secret, perhaps unearthed by Hoover's goons? Dawn

I am currently working on a book in part on the OSS and CIC crowd and while, yes, many of the post-War crowd of CIA et al. spooks and criminals came from their ranks, many others were good people of good morality who rolled-up their sleeves to help defeat fascism. I communicate with some still around and many are as upset that some of their bosses and ranks became what the former enemy was, as you and I. I believe Harold would have fit in that category. You can have you unique fantasy of him, but I think you will find precious few to join you on this. Peace. I never had the pleasure of meeing Weisberg and only know him by his work. (Which remains supurbe). I think that detecting who is a spook and who is not is quite difficult as the work of the spooks contains much truth. Of course the paranoia in this community is also to be considered. Personality differences and infighting cause many to be called "disinformationists" when it's merely a difference in opinion that's afoot. I apply a personal "rule", but for the purposes of this discussion that would put Weisberg in the spook mode, which I do not believe to be the case. Hey Shanet: Nice to see you back. FWIW I have a lot suspicions about all of the above. Casolero was a definate political hit. Lennon and Hoffman have been way under researched. But I really do not believe Hoffman killed himself. And JL's murder has MC all over it. I need to look at that Ligget hour again on TMWKK. Very strange, his life and death. Dawn ps I was also very suspicious from the moment Boggs disappeared and that was before I knew who he was. Once I learned in 73 or so he'd been a Warren Commissioner who was also a dissenter, I really became doubtful that his demise was accidental. Then last year I learned he'd been Garrison's source. Garrison for years said it was Huey Long who told him to look into the Kennedy assassination, but it was actually Hale Boggs, according to Joan Mellen. That cinched it for me that it was murder. (Also his son has some very interesting comments online). His daughter is in the media and keeps her lips sealed. "Mockingbird" lives.

Both my husband- (also a criminan defense atty.)- and I discuss this with our black clients all the time. They all KNOW already that the government is responsible for all the crack. One little juvie girl a few years back responded by telling me that "CIA stands for 'crack in America' ". She was a pretty savvy 14 year old. Steve; At college my two best friends were guys. I was the radical liberal, Geroge the moderate Democrat (who idolized JFK) - and Vince as far to the right as it gets. He and I totally agreed politically and not just about who killed JFK. I have not see Vince Dixon in probably 30 years but have kept up by phone and an occassional email. He's very active in Cambridge MA politics. Still very conservative and still knows a conspiracy killed JFK. I have also found other very conservative people willing to listen to truth and reason. Problem is W has brainwashed so many that you just don't "go there" or your patriotism is questioned. I say impeach the b******s for treason. (Iraq being only one reason), (9-11 a bigger reason and plans to use a nuke on Iran MUST be stopped). Dawn

Thank God they don't (yet) control C-Span. Last night I watched an incredible conference of 9-11 Scholars for truth. Hosted by Austin's own ALex Jones (infowars.com), it was an all star panel including our own Jim Fetzer, who was brilliant! Steven Jones, the Utah scintist and others I will have to look up after court. I hope c-span re-broadcasts this so I can tape it. I urge others to look for it.
