) Right on, Dawn. I saw Springsteen here a couple of years ago on 'The Rising' tour. Amazing show. I also saw him 1986 (around that time) in Sydney on the 'Born In The USA' tour. I wish he would visit Australia more. 'The River', 'Back In Your Arms' and 'City Of Ruins' would have to rank as some of the best songs ever recorded. Just before Lennon passed, I believe he made the comment that 'Hungry Heart' was one of the best songs he ever heard. I will try to find that reference. James James, Found a great new dvd last night: A live "Born To Run" tour. (And cd with it of same). When the last Bruce and e -street band toured Austin a few years back we had 5th row seats. Including his cover of the GREAT Jimmy Cliff song "Trapped" (originally recorded on the "We Are The World" lp).

I have a personal experience, two in fact with this and in both instances the individual are/were either defensive or pretend at ignorance. I will not mention one here, but the other is my husband's cousin. He was SS for a president for over 20 years. Two years ago I decided it was time we talked about the assassination issue. And the lack of security JFK had in Dallas. Cousin stated he knew zero about this. I did not challenge him as it was Thanksgiving and we were at his home (replete with photos of his famous charge all over the place). I think people, SS and police officers, especially anyone who might have actually been in Dallas that day become unnecesarrily defensive, as if we are somhow accusing THEM, if we point out the obvious: that JFK's security that day SUCKED. However, we have long noted that in CT circles there are also many disinformationists throwing up wacco claims, like denial of the holocaust , so that it may be maintained that all CTs are just mentally unstable. James et al: I read about a year or more ago that the Fiat driver was found dead under suspicious circumstances. One of the things that made me wonder about Diana. Dawn Ron, with all due respect, what caused the crash was a heavily intoxicated driver, driving at high speeds though Paris, to avoid a ravenous paperattzi. What made it worse was Diana's refusal to wear a seat belt. Both herself, and Dodi al Fayed died as a result of their injuries. The bodygaurd, who was wearing a belt survived. Diana's lifestyle had become so chaotic, mainly due to constant Press intrusion (Which she encouraged) that it made an accident of this nature much more likely. for those who believe it was more than an accident two questions 1, Why have her killed, And 2, why choose this haphazard maner. Steve: I agree with you IF this did indeed happen. But there has been evidence that the driver was not drunk. (I have mostly seen this on tv documentaries, so can't cite references, sorry) Also: When we live in a society that kills our president then lies, kills our peace leaders and lies and kills the president's brother and lies, then I guess ordinary accidents can arouse in us suspicion. Like John Lennon's, and Diana's. "Murder Inc" is so much more prevailent then most of us even realize, but of course tragic accidents also occur. So do tragic plane crashes. A Surprise for LIttle Bobby by John Lennon It was Little Bobby's birthmark today and he got a surprise. His very fist was jobbed off, (The War), and he got a birthday hook! All his life Bobby had wanted his very own hook; and now on his 39th birthday his pwayers had been answered. Tho only trouble was that they had sent him a left hoock and ebery dobby knows that it was Bobby's right fist that was missing as it were. What to do was not the only problem: Anyway he jobbed off his lest hand and it fitted like a glove. Maybe next year he will get a right hook, who knows? (From "In His Own Write", 1964) too funny!! Just out of curiosity lynne/Matt: Do you have an occupation? Someplace where you go and get paid to actually work? Most of us here state what we do for a living in our bios. As an attorney I am in court a lot, but this week has been blissfully quiet, thus my ability to come to the forum a lot more than usual and just chill, after an overly hectic two months prior. Tim: You may dislike Mellen's book and really believe "Garrison got it all wrong", but many in the research community give this book high praise. Just on the book cover we get: Fonzi, Aguilar, Stone, Dick Russell, Cyril Wecht, Dick Gregory... some major heavies in this case. Did you actually READ this book? As for "Ultimate Sacrifice" selling more. That it is prominently displayed in bookstores and you cannot even find "AF2J" could account for this disparity in sales. To buy a book you've gotta see it. See also Gerry, Dawn, Terry etc. Proceed with extreme caution.... -------------------------------- Two months ago, I requested of several "Guru/Geek" IT experts that they "Scan" the Education Forum website & their ISP. One of the most proficient, a now "infamous ex-Hacker", recommended several "free" anti-malicious software, virus, trojan, worm, key-logger, etc. software down-loads; as even the expensive versions only identify about 36% [each application] of the infections !! Multiple software applications are necessary, but they recommend that you only run one at a time, that is: unless you are operating MSN-XP Professional. They also recommended free downloads of additions to the "Task Manager", and software which identifies ALL of your open ports, and who is attempting to "penetrate" them. Therefore, I began using "Be-Clean" [Germany], "My Cleaner" [Netherlands], "Prevx" [uK/Germany], and the excellent Poland based (anti-Worm) software [free] found at www.Gdata.pl; etc., etc. !! Moreover, they insisted that MS "Internet Explorer" remains seriously flawed [and compromised] until Microsoft issues its new "Long-Branch" browser. Mozilla Corp. is still failing in its attempts to button-up back-door hacker problems with its "Fire Bird" browser. "Netscape-8" remains the safest at this time. [Moreover, it fully produces all of the "Hi-Fi" colors and detail found on the Education Forum site. However, though Netscape-8 handles "surfing", "back/forward", etc. mechanics, it is recommended that when switching from one posting to another, click the Edu-Forum "Tab' off, and use the 3 seconds it takes to swith back to a 2nd topic; by scratching your nose ?!] When I use this Forum, I reboot from whatever I was doing before, engage "Spyware Blaster" [freebie browser blocker, not anti-viral] and "Prevx [freebie, but I now have the paid version]. Now, and once dedictated to the Edu-Forum, I comfortably go about my business of annoying the hell out of some members !! Upon "Logging-Off" [and the experts recommend that you "ONLY" log-on to post messages, and then quickly log off] I immediately sweep my PC !! First with "Be-Clean", and just from the Forum I usually average about 8 unintentioned additions to my "Registry", and 14 to 25 unintended addition to my"files cache". [The experts state that: It is NOT the size of the files, but the NUMBER which slows down your PC] One of my associates, who delayed in downloading "Be-Clean" after just a week of "lurking" [not signing on] found over 67 unnecessary additions to his "Registry", and 281 unnecessary files. Worse his PC's CPU was "maxing-out" and both boot & browser changes were taking excessive times !! They did a "bench-check" [isolated safe-computer w/o LAN connections] on Ms. MATLynne Foster's psuedo-URLs, and all other postings. The results average over 40 times the infections acquired off of Forum activity. They then traced her e-mail address, verified the "headings", found "zombie" activities -- and reported same to "UCE.GOV", the Secret Service, and the Federal Trade Commission !! I doubt very much that I will even desire to know the results of same. Chris, it is intriguing to me that Waldron's scenario has seemed to light so many fires. I'm wondering if the attraction isn't that it clears LBJ and the CIA of any malevolence. The one piece that is an ABSOLUTE CROCK, as far as I'm concerned, is that Bobby Kennedy went along with the cover-up of his brother's death in order to protect the proposed coup. Anyone who's been around grieving people should understand that Bobby and Jackie were in deep shock, the kind of shock that takes months if not years to get over (if ever). If I'm reading Waldron right in that he proposes RFK went along with the Warren Commission cover-up in the name of national security, I must admit I'm skeptical. Having just read all about the alleged Bobby cover-up in Mellen's book I have been quite saddened by such a prospect: something I always considered disinformation in prior books. Indeed, in 1986, when I read that Bobby and JFk were trying to kill Castro in Henry Hurt's "Reasonable Doubt" I was so incensed that I called "411", got his phone number and we had quite the debate, which continued by mail for months. I have read the closing chapters in "AFTJ" twice now. The first time I did not buy the story Angelo gave to Mellen. But yesterday, after reading at length about Sheridan being sent, allegedly by Bobby, to destroy Garrison-to cover for the get Castro allegations, again attributed to Bobby (and presumably JFK) I jumped ahead to see if Bobby was still portrayed this way in Melen's book. This required reading the last chapter again, and this time the story seemed more compelling. BUT: So what? Does this make it so? One poster here writes that this is "old news" called by a new name, but I find the above two posts more pursuasive. We know that JFK was planning to meet with Castro. We know that the CIA likely overheard this, via wiretaps and it was at total odds with the Agency's plans. We know that JFK and CIA were at war. We know that The Company has produced a number of "authors" to really muddy the waters. It's really back to that old LBJ quote : "Kennedy was trying to get Castro; only Castro got him first" (paraphrased). Now we are to believe this stuff, this time, on the basis of a few interviews? We do have Dick Goodwin, quoting how angry Bobby was to hear that he was "trying to kill Castro". That RFK was in reality the one trying to keep Castro alive. Is Goodwin fabricating? As has been pointed out now numerous times on this fourm: Since the advent of Lynne/Mat the level of debate has fallen here. Like all net trolls this is her mission: as well as putting nasty computer viruses on anyone foolish enough to open her cartoon links. I totally agree Stephen. Brings to mind that excellent Salandria quote in Fonzi's " Last Investigation". These bastards did want us all to know that they are now in control and there is not a damn thing we can do about it. I have had a bit of time off from court and am able to get back to Joan Mellen's book. Reading, again, about just how much power came down on Garrison is chilling. Seeing Clinton and Bush 41 together on tv yesterday brought back 41's speech were he actually says the words: " New World Order". Ya, I'd say it's about as blatant as it gets. Dawn
