  1. I have a copy of the Northwoods memo, called "The Justification for US Military Intervention in Cuba", dated 13 March 1962. It is disturbing indeed to think that the US military would consider committing acts of terrorism against its own citizenry and blaming it on a foreign enemy, as a pretext to war. It is even more disturbing in light of the tragedy of 9/11 and our current quagmire in Iraq. The memo states, " We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington." In his book, "The Man Who Knew Too Much", author Dick Russell tells us of a plot to kill Kennedy in the Washington, DC area at the end of September, 1963. He also tells us that Oswald was at a meeting held sometime between August 23rd and August 27th, where the subject of killing Kennedy was discussed. In addition, according to Russell, Oswald communicated to the Communist Party, USA and the Socialist Workers Party, that he and "his family had planned to move to the Washington-Baltimore area at the end of September". Interestingly enough, CPUSA and the SWP were both targets for the FBI's COINTELPRO, the counter-intelligence program which included the opening of the target's mail. Under these circumstances, one needs to ask the question: "Was Oswald sending a coded message to the FBI warning them that his "family" of assassins were planning to kill Kennedy in the "Washington-Baltimore area" at the "end of September" ? Operation Northwoods did provide for the "attempts on lives" and "wounding" of Cuban refugees. on page 9 of the document, it states: "We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized. Exploding a few plastic bombs in carefully chosen spots, the arrest of Cuban agents and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government". What happens when we change a few words in that last statement and apply it to the JFK assassination ? Would it make sense ? Let's see. We could foster attempts on the life of President Kennedy in the United States even to the extent of assassination to be widely publicized. Exploding a few plastic bombs in Dealey Plaza, the arrest of a "Castro sympathizer" and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government". It is my opinion that Kennedy's assassination was right out of the pages of Operation Northwoods.
  2. The Inaugural address of President John F. Kennedy, in which he says, "to those new states who we welcome to the ranks of the free, we pledge our word that one form of colonial control shall not have passed away, merely to be replaced by a far more iron tyranny." Sound like the America of today ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETMxgQwn9Q0
  3. A look at JFK's desire to put an end to testing nuclear weapons in the atmosphere. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwGve527Ixs
  4. The other assassination in 1963 had as its victim, Medgar Evers, the field secretary of the NAACP in Mississippi. This video examines Evers' drive to get blacks to vote, the hardships they encountered at the registration office, his murder in his driveway, how the police tried to provoke violence at his funeral, and how all-white juries twice refused to convict his killer in the 1960's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qWb1MBFUR8
  5. The speaker is none other than Revilo P. Oliver, whose description was given by Mr. Lane. It is a small excerpt from his 1961 speech before the Dallas Indignation Committee entitled, "They Must Not Go Unpunished." The first time I heard this speech, it sent chills through me. When he got to the part about Benedict Arnold and treason, all I could visualize was the "Wanted For Treason" posters. I put this video togeher because I believe that it's important for students of the Kennedy assassination (such as myself) to understand the events which led up to November 22, 1963.
  6. All of my JFK videos can be seen in one spot, on my Youtube Channel : www.youtube.com/gjjdude
  7. Bernice, I just played out the video and it worked fine. I'm not sure what the reason is that would cause your player to stop part way through the video. I believe Youtube uses Adobe Flashplayer 9. I'm not familiar with any probems associated with that software. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. Perhaps someone on the forum here could help you with this problem.
  8. James it was the same Harry Knickerbocker. Your assumption is correct.
  9. JFK's Last Ride: Probably the spookiest video I've put together so far. It gives me goosebumps when I watch it. JFK aides discuss the atmosphere in Dallas prior to his visit. A Fort Worth boys choir sings, "The eyes of Texas are upon you All the live long days The eyes of Texas are upon you And you cannot get away Don"t you think you can escape them From night till early in the morn The eyes of Texas are upon you Till Gabriel blows his horn." Dallas Police Chief Curry warns the citizens against any "incidents". The touchdown of AF-1 and motorcade is shown together with a right-wing speech given in Dallas two years earlier. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZZr-8EHaeg
  10. All the clips I looked at were culled from other people's videos. Pat, that's not necessarily a bad thing. For instance, nearly all videos with historic value that are used in documentaries, are culled from other people's videos. I never represented these clips as my own creations ( I was about 10 years old when some of these clips were taken) and I certainly never received any profit for their posting. It has been my intention to put together these videos, many of which are not available outside the US, for the benefit of educating the world's children and helping them understand the circumstances leading up to the assassination of President Kennedy. It is my view that only by understanding both the events leading up to the assassination, the powers arrayed against him, and the resistance he faced trying to move the US in a new direction, can we understand what culminated on November 22, 1963. Thank You all for your interest in these video clips.

  18. Civil Rights activists in the South force the Kennedy Administration to enforce the Supreme Court decision allowing people to sit anywhere in a bus. They are met with resistance from right wing hate groups who receive help from law enforcement agencies
  19. Chuck, I agree with you that the pool of blood and the dead agent are connected. Vince Palamara told me that he was never able to track down who that agent was. I suggest that the agent wasn't an agent at all, but a military intelligence operative who was in Dealey Plaza that day. The were 8-12 MI people n the Plaza and according to their commander's testimony before the WC, they may have been carrying SS identification that day. Another interesting tidbit comes from Bethesda, where according to David Lifton and Harry Livingstone, the body of an "Army or Air Force Major" showed up for autopsy on the evening of the 22nd. The medical people at Bethesda told these authors that they were ordered NOT to log in the body of the Major, a highly unusual departure from normal procedure. It is hard to imagine a motive, other than one sinister, for not following procedure in regards to this body. It is again, my opinion, that this body was "used" as a substitute for Kennedys, in as much as the vital statistics (weight of the brain, etc.) was concerned. It is also my opinion, that this Major could likely be the misidentified "dead secret service agent" that vanished into history.
  20. Walter Cronkite interviewed President Kennedy at Hyannisport on Labor Day Weekend, 1963. In this clip, JFK gives his views on Vietnam, calling it "their war". He also defines the commitment of the US saying, "We can help them, we can send them equipment, we can send our men out there as advisors, but THEY have to win the war, the people of Vietnam against the Communists." Kennedy then expresses his disagreement with those who have advocated an immediate and total withdrawl of all of the advisors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uG7jjF6xuKM
  21. This video follows the President's casket as it leaves the White House on Sunday, November 24th for the Captiol, where it lies in state in the Rotunda on Sunday. It then leaves the Capitol on Monday for St Matthew's Cathedral for the Funeral Mass, then on to Arlington National Cemetary for burial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfbd5cl1XDc I remember as a young boy wtching it on TV. The sound of those drums still send a shiver up my spine.

  24. I would agree with your opinion, Kathleen. Oswald wasn't expecting it, or else he would have at least hesitated walking, if not stopped totally in his tracks. In Bob Groden's book, "The Search for Lee Harvey Oswald", there are several photos of Ruby in the DPD building that were captured from news video taken on the evening of the 22nd. A few show Ruby in the hallway and another is the famous one of Ruby in the back of the room during Henry Wade's press conference. He was definitely stalking Oswald all weekend long. Keep in mind that Oswald's "work" with the Fair Play for Cuba Committee was done ONLY during his time in New Orleans. There was also a Free Cuba Committee, an anti-Castro group at the time. The only way Ruby could have known which group Oswald belonged to , was if he had known him personally and was aware of his activities in New Orleans. Otherwise, he would have had no idea to which group Oswald was a member.
