Having - finally, belatedly - read Jeff Morley’s CIA and Zionism, it seems clear that US foreign policy is and has been since JFK  hostage to whoever is on power in Israel. Even NATO’s nuclear capability is under firm US control. Not so, apparently, with Israel’s nuclear arms, as Netanyahu seemed to signal in his latest Halocaust address.

And as the world is discovering to its horror, the claims of Zionism seem to have grown beyond comprehension, unconditional surrender of any and all defenders of Palestinian rights, dignity, and very existence.

From the article: Some of the behind-the-scenes tensions burst into public this week, as Likud official Tali Gottlieb, a member of the Knesset, lashed out at the U.S., threatening to ramp up war crimes in response to the weapons pause. “The US is threatening not to give us precise missiles. Oh yeah?” she said. “Well, I got news for the US. We have imprecise missiles. I’ll use it. I’ll just collapse ten buildings. Ten buildings. That’s what I’ll do.”

Addendum:  I had to read up on the history of the ICC.  It looks like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney nixed U.S. membership in the ICC in 2002, during their run up to the invasion of Iraq.

    International Criminal Court - Wikipedia

This means that there is little the U.S. can do to affect the decision of the ICC if it decides to issue arrest warrants for Israeli leaders for their acts of genocide against the Palestinians.
