I recognize many members of the forum will view this "interview" as a waste of time. That is a legitimate viewpoint as in this assassination topic we attempt to deal with real and circumstantial evidence. For me the "interview" represents an isolated example of how some members of the public today are attempting to deal with the murder of the president over 50 years ago and are even attempting to picture how JFK reacted at the time of his death. The "interview" in its own way keeps the eternal flame alive when most likely as the years pass the historical event will slowly fade in the public's memory.

CIA Plans Huge Release of Top-Secret Reports From the 1960s BY JEFF STEIN 8/26/15 Newsweek http://www.newsweek.com/cia-john-f-kennedy-lyndon-johnson-366120 Updated | The Central Intelligence Agency is set to release 2,500 previously top-secret briefings it gave to presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson in the 1960s, a private pro-CIA group announced on Wednesday. “The vast majority of the documents have never been previously released,” an informed official says, although a number of CIA presidential briefings have surfaced in heavily redacted form over the years. Intelligence officials from the Kennedy and Johnson administrations have also discussed their private conversations with the presidents in memoirs and other books. The reports, customarily provided personally to the president each morning by a senior CIA officer, if not the director himself, will almost certainly show much of what the spy agency was telling Kennedy and Johnson about Vietnam, Cuba, the Soviet Union, China and conflicts in Africa and the Middle East. They may well also include the CIA’s private assessments of world leaders. Such memos are "at their best when they are telling the president what he doesn’t want to hear about the Cold War, the Vietnam War or the Middle East,” adds Bird, who is working on a book about the Jimmy Carter presidency. “But that would be decidedly rare.” It could not be immediately learned whether the CIA records to be released include what the agency told Johnson about the November 1963 assassination of his predecessor, Kennedy. Many critics have leveled unproven charges over the years that CIA-linked personnel may have been involved in the assassination. “The President’s Daily Brief (PDB) contains the highest level intelligence analysis of key national security issues and concerns of the president,” the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), a Virginia-based organization with a national membership of thousands, said in the announcement Wednesday on its website. “Only the president, the vice president, and a select group of cabinet-level officials designated by the president receive the briefing,” the AFIO said. Intelligence historian Christopher Andrews once called the PDB the world’s “smallest circulation, most highly classified, and—in some respects—best informed daily newspaper.” The papers are to be released September 16 at a public forum at the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library in Austin, Texas, and will be available then on the agency’s website. The agency has previously posted PDBs and other declassified materials on its historical collections page. CIA Director John O. Brennan will present the event’s keynote speech, the AFIO said. Other former high-ranking intelligence officials, including Porter Goss, a CIA director during the George W. Bush administration, and Bobby Inman, a former CIA deputy director and National Security Agency chief, are slotted to speak as well. The declassified documents, released as part of the CIA’s Historical Review Program, will also be available online, the AFIO said.

The issue of there being or not being a group such as Majestic 12 (and its successors) is not very complicated. If you are President of the United States and are presented with credible evidence that that Planet Earth is being visited by a non-terrestrial Alien Presence, you undoubtedly would create such a small elite group comprised of some of the best minds in the country to monitor the Alien Presence. If you are President of the United States and are never presented with any credible evidence that Planet Earth is being visited by a non-terrestrial Alien Presence, then you would take no such action. David: First an apology for being so tardy in replying to your query. From my reading of the Oval Office tapes it is obvious that John Dean was masterminding the cover-up and that Nixon, Haldeman and Ehrlichman were not aware that Dean had his own conflicting personal agenda. It was not until almost a year later before they woke up to Dean's scheming. Dean, working through Henry Petersen, the Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division in the U.S. Department of Justice, took steps to assure that on July 19, 1972, any testimony by me before the grand jury about being approached with the hush money would cut off, which is what happened. My guess is that the Silbert, Campbell and Glanzer were directed by Petersen acting upon Dean's orders to make certain my testimony that day would deal only with the 38 questions that I had refused to answer based on the attorney-client privilege, none of which dealt with the hush money. However, I did manage to start testimony about the mysterious phone calls I had received before Glanzer cut me off. I got that much into the record. I do not think that these three prosecutors or Sirica were aware of my being approached with the hush money that I turned down on July 6th. That said, I do believe that my home and office phone was wiretapped soon after I appeared at the arraignment of the five arrest defendants on June 17, 1972. Thus, the phone calls to me from Anthony Ulasewicz from July 2-6 that dealt with the hush money were known immediately by certain parties unfriendly to Nixon. Foremost among these was Washington, D.C. Police Detective Carl Shoffler who was actually a military intelligence agent trained on eavesdropping and wiretapping by the NSA. Schoffler and his military intelligence principals wanted to bring Nixon down. Thus, it was only a question of time as to when the hush money scandal would be leaked by them that would disclose I turned down the hush money but that Hunt's new attorney, William Bittman, a former Justice Department prosecutor, accepted the money. Steven: It is my understanding that there were three hit teams in Dallas on November 22, 1963. The first team was successful in assassinating JFK near the School Book Depository. A second team was in wait at the Mercantile Trade Mart where JFK was to give the luncheon address. Its services were not required. A third team, whose services were also not required, was to assassinate him at the airport as he prepared to depart Dallas. This team was headed by "Big Al" Carone (see links below).
