  1. Just a quick reminder for the 1ft = 1frame equation. In terms of 5.5 seconds (100 Zframes) that would be: 5.5 sec x 5.5ft per sec = 30.25ft. 5.5ft per sec = 3.74mph See the Vehicle Speed document in post 11. chris
  2. What does 10.51 mph have to do with anything? 85ft@5.5 seconds@18.3 frames per sec =100frames 85ft/5.5sec = 10.51mph Refer back to the post#20 Meyer's document. I call it working the front and back ends of an equation. chris
  3. Now take the last part of CE884, frames 255-313. That is a total of 58 frames @ 49ft. 58/18.3 frames per sec=3.17 sec. 49ft/3.17 sec = 10.51 mph
  4. There never was a survey done for frame 161. The measurements actually apply to frame168. Look at CE884 apply the distance and frame count from frame 168 to frame 255. 168-255= 87 frames The distance is 87.2ft. = 1ft per 1frame. Easier to work with!!! chris
  5. Mike, There is nothing random about this. It was preconceived to make it fit the official story. For instance: 85ft + 15ft = 100ft 85ft + 15ft =100ft 85ft to end it That is a total of 285ft. There's your 30ft difference Look back at post 7 on the plat shot document I provided. How far(straight line distance) do they have shot 3 at? Remember this is not the 313 headshot, this is 30ft farther down the street near Altgens. Distance between "JFK in the limo" and the "front of the limo" is 15ft. Sorry if you're getting impatient but this scenario needs to be explained and that's what I intend to do. chris
  6. By the way, referring back to CE560, where the document shows the limo traveling 90ft in 5.5 seconds=100frames from Shot1 to the 313 headshot. If you incorporate the previous post's formula into the above scenario you would get this: 1.8 + 1.8 +1.8 = 5.4 seconds 33 + 33 + 33 = 99frames Why is this important? Well, in Myers sync, he has "JFK aligned with the TSBD" to frame157(splice) occurring in 5.41seconds. Think about that for awhile and I'll help you out in a bit. chris
  7. The pre-limo Zfilm consists of 132frames. The time for that sequence is: 132/18.3 frames per sec=7.21sec 7.21 seconds reduced by 25%(22.8/18.3 frames per sec) in time =1.8 second reduction over 132 frames@18.3 frames per sec. 1.8 seconds x 18.3 frames per sec = 33frames. chris 9.12 x .25 = 2.28sec 9.12 - 2.28 = 6.84sec 167/18.3 = 9.12 sec. 167/22.8 = 7.32sec Difference = 1.8 sec.
  8. Meyers has Towner's camera running at 22.8 frames per sec in order to get his multisyncing to work. Towner's camera actually ran at 18.3 frames per sec, same as Zapruder's, much more in line with what it's supposed to be. How much faster does Meyer's have the camera running in terms of time. 22.8/18.3=1.25. So 25% faster. chris
  9. Why is 85ft and 5.5 seconds important? I think Meyers can help us out again. JFK aligned with the TSBD corner is 13.95 seconds before the 313 headshot. 5.5 seconds later puts him at Zframe 158 or 159. Very close to frame161. The distance remember from the TSBD corner to frame 161 is 85ft. chris
  10. That is a difference of 7 frames. 161-168. Do you know how many frames are missing from the Towner film and at what position? Here's something from Meyers to help you. After the 7 frame splice, JFK within the limo is aligned with the TSBD corner. No coincidence there either!!! chris
  11. Mike, Robert West never surveyed in frames 161 and 166. He actually surveyed in frames 168 and 171. If you look at the Station No and Elevation in this document and compare it against the CE 884 entries for frame 161, do you see the problem? chris P.S. Thank you Tom Purvis for this one.
  12. Mike, The straight line distance from the TSBD corner to frame 161 is approx 85ft. Refer to previous partial plat. CE884 supplied, what frame does the WC start their measurements with? CE 560 previously supplied, Eisenberg has the limo traveling 90ft in 5.5 seconds . How far is it from the snipers nest to the TSBD corner? Probably somewhere close to the difference between 85ft and 90ft. (Check previous plat) chris
  13. I believe someone is laying out a pre-determined scenario. How does 85ft tie into this? The distance between Shot 1 and Shot 3 (Altgens) 171ft-285ft or 114ft according to the SS plat. 114ft broken down is 85ft + 29ft. If you look at CE 560, Eisenberg has the limo traveling between Shot1 and 313 headshot as 5.5 seconds. 5.5 seconds = 100Z frames @18.3 frames per sec. That will be discussed a little later on. 85ft @5.5 seconds = 10.51 mph Now, add 30ft(distance between 313 headshot and Altgens shot) to the equation. 115ft@5.5 seconds = 14.22 mph The difference in mph between these two distances is 3.71 mph. Look at the far top right entry on the Vehicle Speed Analysis. If you want an exact match, it would be 115.2ft instead of 115ft. chris
  14. Mike, That's exactly the point. Are they from the snipers nest or the corner of the TSBD or Station C.? Refer back to the first gif I supplied and the problem with measuring from two different points to frame 161. chris
  15. The straight line distance from the TSBD corner to frame 161 is approx 85ft. Refer to previous partial plat. I am now providing the straight line distances from the SS/FBI plat created on Dec 5th, 1963 for the SS and later used by the FBI for their Feb-1964 recreation. Notice the distance to Shot 1 at 171ft. Or 85ft +85ft + (1ft margin of error) The 313 headshot at elevation 418.35 or 257ft. Distance between Shot 1 and headshot=85ft + (1ft margin of error) And, Shot 3 at 285ft. Distance between headshot and Shot 3(Altgens) = 28ft. chris
  16. James, 1 inch=10ft Margin of error is up to 1ft. Does this help? chris
  17. James, There is no Station C plotted on the SS plat of Dec 5th, 1963. It was left off intensionally, otherwise the problem would be obvious. Instead, the WC has Shaneyfelt describe it through testimony. Look at the Station No. for frame 161. It is 3+29.2. That is 79.2 ft from Station No. 2+50. Which is in direct alignment with the snipers nest. CE888, the bottom portion of the gif I supplied should read "DISTANCE TO STATION 2+50" = 79.2ft That would be in alignment with the snipers nest. It should not be "DISTANCE TO STATION C" = 94.7ft which is 15.5 ft east of the snipers nest. We don't need a Station C and measurements from it, when we know what the Station No. is for the snipers nest. This is the beginning of the WC's attempt to hide a 30ft distance, thereby eliminating the shot/ballistics down by Altgen's. chris
  18. I'll try and make it simple for everyone. Inside WC document CE884, I have provided the Station No. ( 2+50 ) which is in direct alignment with the sniper's nest. You can check it on the partial plat to the right. The SS plotted JFK's position in the limo every 25ft, hence the "+" marks on the plat. The WC used two different locations for measuring to the same spot. They used Station No. 2+50 and Station C. Straight line distance from Station 2+50 to frame 161 is 79.2 ft. Straight line distance from Station C to frame 161 is 94.7ft The difference between these locations is approx 15.5ft. That is the approx distance between the front of the limo and JFK in the limo. I will assume that would have somewhat of an effect on the rifle angles too. Cheers, chris P.S. More to come.
  19. Mike, http://www.mejuba.com/albums/jfkass/112938/4443956/show/original Is it smoke or the tree branch? chris
  20. Thanks Pat, I suspected there wouldn't be an official affidavit from Altgens on or around 11/22/63, such as was the case with many of the other witnesses. I'll follow up on this in a little while. chris
  21. Pat, Do you or anyone else for that matter, know, if Altgens ever gave a statement or affidavit before his WC testimony? thanks, chris
  22. Mike, This has been discussed before. The frame you supplied is from Darnell footage. There is a copy of it on the Oliver Stone JFK DVD movie. Unfortunately, not all of the Darnell footage is included. For example, here is more of Darnell I stabilized but the quality is lacking. http://www.mejuba.com/albums/jfkass/112938/4285447/show/original Maybe you could find an unedited version of Darnell and share it with the rest of us. chris
  23. Mike, Can you show us the full size Life magazine Betzner photo. chris
  24. Mike, The white object in the grass is the fixed reference point. Note the orientation of the "limo trunk to curbline" as it moves forward. Doesn't like my gif!!!! To come later. chris
