  1. NEWS 8 EXCLUSIVE SECOND SAFE WAS TAKEN FROM 6TH FLOOR MUSEUM

DALLAS — News 8 has learned that there was a second safe stolen from the Sixth Floor Museum in downtown Dallas last week.

Inside that safe? Possible documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and jewelry that may have some connection to his wife, Jacqueline.

The Dallas County Sheriff's Department told the public about one safe that was nearly stolen from the museum during the May 4 break-in. It was recovered almost immediately, dangling from a winch on the back of a stolen pickup truck.

But during that burglary, a second safe was removed in what now appears to have been an inside job. Dallas police found it in a park in southeast Dallas.

A police report said there were bags and keys from the museum inside that safe, but it also said that JFK documents and jewelry possibly related to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis were missing.

Don't forget the very first post in this thread in which Dallas DA Watkins was considering donating the DA's files on the JFK Assassination to the Sixth Floor rather than the National Archives and Records Administration, where they should have gone when the ARRB was in town scouring for relevant records.

The Sixth Floor says they want them, and Judge Tunheim of the ARRB sent Watkins a letter requesting the records be given to NARA.

Now I wonder whether the theft of these safes is related to that, or if these guys are just a bunch of Texas Yahoos. In either case, it would appear that this would make a good case for giving the records to the NARA, whose track record isn't much better having lost the negative of the Wink photo, Kennedy's brain, the AF1 tapes and other relevant records.

Bill there is simply miles too much in docs to ever be in a small or large safe it would take a vault like they were found in i if they do go to the tsbd i imagine, hopefully they will have to build or buy such a to hold all......

  2. People who have seen this photo have been led to believe LHO was really there in that kitchen. LHO's picture was from when he was under arrest. Notice the handcuffs. This comparison photo leads people to believe that LHO is actually there with Robert.

When the comps have been posted they are noted as such, if people the whomevers have not paid attention to and have been unable to figure such out that is not the respsonsibility of the analyists, yes that is of lho after he was arrested but as stated compared in a comp with his brother to show that comparison...it is up to each of us individually to stay alert and read and comprehend what the photoanalyists are presenting...whomever made that particular comp and if they fooled the whomevers then they certainly did a bang up job, to fool some who would think lho would be allowed in any kitchen after arrest..would be unrealistic ...i am not positive now who did that comp...b

how, Arlen Specter, disproved his own..CE 903 photo taken by his FBI,

photographer during their re-creation in the garage....May 1964.......and Trashed his own SBT.....

    .....with the follow up photo..

Below you will see CE 903, taken within the garage....Arlen Specter standing......facing ..holding the rod..

supposedly through the trajectory of the wounds in the President and Gov Connally...giving the appearance

that all lined up.....including in particular the neck wound..

Then below another photo taken at that time.....

though it was not numbered of course , as they hid it..tsk tsk....

Notice the rod he holds and the mark of the wound chalked on the President sit-ins coat.

Where he does not place it, and where it aligns .....and does not in particular........

The second unnumbered photo was discovered years later by one John Hunt.......

and was taken from the back view.....which destroys his own the SBT...

of course they had to hide it.....

You will note that the CE 903 was taken from the front..and the hidden photo from the back

    BTW.....

Anyone who wants to check for themselves, CE 903 and also on, the photo that is not listed nor

shown within the W/C feel free to have a look.....

    Robert L. Oswald

    Veterans’ Day, November 11, 2009

Max Steingrout had the pleasure of speaking by telephone with Robert L. Oswald, older brother of alleged JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.

Max thanked Mr. Oswald for taking his call and for his service to our country, mentioning disappointment never having the opportunity to serve himself. ” - Too young for -Nam,” Max lamented.

Max told him that, almost 46 years later, he was sorry for his loss and his burden.

Robert Oswald thanked Max for his kind words.

Max mentioned he had seen him on Dateline in 1996 and wondered, with information that has come out over the past 10 + years “proving a CIA, nefarious or not, cover-up,” did he still believe that one man acted alone?

Robert Oswald said that his beliefs were “on the record” and that he had nothing else to add.

Max thanked him for his time and we sent him a $10 Petco gift certificate (*Scrappy was barking in the background).

Max forgot to ask Mr. Oswald for which belief is he “on the record?”

  5. http://nonblog.typepad.com/the_nonbloggish...rubenstein.html

In 1997, he gave an interview to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, where he spoke a bit more about his own life.

Robert Oswald was named after his father and grandfather:

The Oswald family tree dated back to colonial times. He'd learned as a child that he was a fifth or sixth cousin of Gen. Robert E. Lee, which explained why he had been named Robert Edward Lee Oswald Jr., and his little brother Lee Harvey Oswald. To change his name would have amounted to a betrayal of his heritage, he believed.

…He grins companionably. By nature, he is affable, soft-spoken, gentle, a chronic laugher, utterly without pretense.

...Two weeks after the assassination, he made himself return to his job as a sales coordinator for a brick company in Denton, 30 miles outside of Dallas. He would neither run nor deny he was an Oswald. Neither he nor his family was guilty of anything, he kept telling those closest to him. A childhood spent in and out of orphanages had prepared him for hard times and steeled his belief in, among other things, his ability to get along with people and survive the worst of circumstances.

...In the summer of 1964, Acme Brick Co. transferred him to Wichita Falls in dusty north Texas -- not to get an Oswald out of the Denton-Dallas area, believes Bob Oswald -- but simply because Wichita Falls needed a sales coordinator. Regardless of the motive, the move placed the family in an area that has largely respected their privacy for more than three decades and let them live as ordinary people unburdened by stigma.

"They'd come to the Little League games back in the early days, and they were very reserved," recalls longtime friend Helen Seyler. "They just quietly tried to be a part of the community. I think people respected them for that. ... The nice thing is, they let you live your life in these parts. People know plenty from personal experience about families having black sheep sometimes. They know you can't hold that against someone."

His father died when he was five:

"I had 51/2 wonderful years with father and I had memories; Lee had zero time, OK?" he says, repeating the figures -- five, zero. "I don't think we'd be having this conversation if father [had lived] and Lee had had him around. ... We all know that lots of people do OK with just one parent, one good loving parent. ... But let's just say we had a situation that was different."

Take a good look at the photo of Harvey and Robert. Notice in another picture Robert is in the same pose without Harvey, with Marina there. Now take a look at Harvey in the picture of the 2 brothers again. We see the right side of Harvey. I know this is going to seem strange, but Harvey has a cut on his forehead that occurred when he was arrested. Notice his eyes are closed. Could Intell have posed Harvey to put into the picture with Robert when Harvey was dead?

But it looks like he still has handcuffs on. This is a fake picture.

  8. HERE IS AN OLDER THREAD..............

Representative Boggs: Have you in your own mind reached any conclusions on whether or not your brother killed President Kennedy?

Mr. Oswald: Based on the circumstantial evidence that has been reported in newspapers and over the radio and television, I would have to say that it appears that he did kill President Kennedy.

Representative Boggs: Would you, having reached that conclusion under the circumstances that you outlined a moment ago, and having known him all of his life, although not too intimately the last year of his life, would you give us any reason for why he may have done this?

Mr. Oswald: No, sir: I could not.

Representative Boggs: It came as, I would think, a great shock to you?

Mr. Oswald: Yes, sir; it certainly did, and I might add that the Lee Harvey Oswald that I knew would not have killed anybody.

  9. MAGGIE'S DRAWERS

The Marksmanship of Lee Harvey Oswald

[Commentary and editing by Alan Rogers]

What follows are selections from three sources on the

shooting ability of LHO. The criteria used for selection is

focused on those who had first hand accounts of seeing Lee Harvey

Oswald shooting a weapon, eschewing those who had much to say

about the subject but had never met Oswald. The first comes from

LHO's brother, Robert. His book shows generally what Robert's

observations and opinions were on the subject.

In the 1990's, Robert has appeared on a few documentaries in

where the clips have him saying that he believes his brother

could have accomplished the shooting. Since this was certainly

not what he said in his book, it seems that he has succumbed to

the same process that influenced many witnesses to the event.

That process bombards the witness with so much opinion and

conjecture, year after year, that their memory is forever tainted

and now cannot be unentangled from what they have considered in

the intervening years. Using Posner's principle of taking the

earlier utterances of the witness as more firmly grounded,

Robert's book predates these on camera interviews by two plus

    decades.

In his book, Robert talks about LHO's quick reflexes and

hidden strength, but as seen in the selection, he still cannot

escape admitting that LHO was awkward in shooting at moving

targets when they went field hunting as children. It should also

be noted that Robert was not surprised in the least that LHO shot

so poorly in his Marine career and doesn't shirk from describing

him as a mediocre shooter. Because someone has a history of

hunting from an early age, it is not automatically mandated that

    he was a proficient shooter.
