  1. Tommy Tuberville is the Senior Senator from Alabama.

He is one of the Senators that Trump tried to reach late in the evening of January 6th in an attempt to block the final vote on certifying the 2020 election.

Trump had tried to move Space Command from Colorado Springs, CO (where the Air Force is headquartered), to Huntsville, AL. (Tuberville's State). This would have meant millions, if not hundreds of millions of dollars in construction contracts and ancillary projects (hotels, restaurants, etc)., as well the property taxes that would have flowed into the state from property and income taxes.

Tuberville is holding up hundreds of military promotions, over the military's stance on paying for the traveling costs for military personnel who have to travel out of state to get an abortion because it's illegal in the state where they are stationed (like Alabama).

Joe  Biden just announced that Space Command will remain in Colorado.

The people of Alabama are not happy.

    Way to go Tommy!

  2. - Eric Trump -

"“It’s sad. We’re no better than some of these Third World countries around the world,” he said. “We are literally trying to imprison political opponents. We’re better than this.”

He's absolutely right. For months and months and months, crowds of loyalists at Trump rallies shouted, "Don't lock her up!" Don't lock her up!"

    I know, I was there.

  3. DeSantis pledges to 'start slitting throats on day one' amid campaign reboot
By David Badash, The New Civil Rights Movement August 2, 2023
    https://www.rawstory.com/desantis-pledges-slitting/
"“DeSantis just wrapped up a three-day trip to New Hampshire, his first since downsizing his campaign due to financial problems. On the ground, it was clear the challenges he faces here remain significant, even as his chief rival confronts major legal problems,” New Hampshire Public Radio reports.

Governor DeSantis “appeared bent on demonstrating that no candidate talks tougher. He promised that, under his presidency, Mexican drug cartels would be ‘shot stone cold dead,’ and vowed that when it comes to federal bureaucrats, ‘we are going to start slitting throats on Day One.'”"
"The Florida governor who is in second place in the GOP primary, yet trailing Donald Trump in the polls by as many as 37 points, used similar language last week, saying his Secretary of Defense would need to “slit some throats” as well."

    Oh Goody.

Can we go back to public hangings again please?  Or better yet, burn them at the stake. That would be even better.

    Jim.

Back in 2017, I addressed a post to Paul Brancato in a thread on Lyman Lemnitzer here:

    https://educationforum.ipbhost.com/topic/24205-the-finger-finally-points-to-pentagon-chief-lemnitzer/#comment-359751

In my post, I speculated on the idea of "Revenge as Motive" for JFK's assassination. At the time, I wrote:

"Lately, I've been speculating lately on "revenge as motive" for the hit on JFK.

Not so much for what he "might" do with respect to getting out of Vietnam, or eliminating the oil depletion allowance, etc., but for what JFK "had" done; and looking at the people who had been "exiled to the frontier". So far, I've come up with Lyman Lemnitzer and William King Harvey, who was transferred to Rome after the Cuban Missile Crisis. Remember his handwritten ZR/Rifle to use Corsicans rather than Mafia. Being CIA Station Chief in Rome would make him pretty well positioned to find some.

I think they sat out there in the boondocks and stewed.

In ancient Roman times, wasn't it the generals who had been banished to Gaul who were always stirring up trouble, with this legion or that legion always seemingly ready to "cross the Rubicon" at any moment?

Although they weren't exiled, I'd add Allen Dulles and Charles Cabell, who were forced into retirement rather than banished to the frontier."

    I still wonder.

  5. 'An extraordinary sum of money': Questions raised about millions spent on legal fees for Trump and close aides

by Tom Boggioni July 30, 2023,

    https://www.rawstory.com/trump-legal-bills-2662597202/

“The tsunami of legal problems swamping Donald Trump has led to the PAC paying for his lawyers and lawyers representing a wide array of aides to shell out over $40 million in just the first half of the year with no end in sight.

That, in turn, had led to questions from investigators about the possible conflict of interest of the former president footing the legal expenses for potential witnesses to his alleged transgressions that are being scrutinized by the Department of Justice.

The report notes that possible witnesses are being grilled about who is paying their legal fees and why…”

Of greater concern are questions about how Trump's people decide whose bills they will pay.“

  6. Is Tuberville’s hold on military promotions so Trump can fill them with loyalists in 2025?

By Thom Hartmann July 29, 2023,

    https://www.rawstory.com/raw-investigates/tuberville-military-promotions/

”The 2024 election will determine the direction this country takes, perhaps for another century.

Will we turn to fascism and authoritarianism with a military takeover, as a handful of activist rightwing billionaires and their wholly-owned Republican politicians want? Or will we turn back toward democracy and rebuild America’s middle class that has been so battered and gutted by 42 years of neoliberal Reaganomics?

To the extent that our institutions are still intact, that decision will be in your hands and those of people like you.”

  7. Wall Street Journal urges GOP to dump Trump over his 'truly stupid' Mar-a-Lago cover-up
By Tom Boggioni July 29, 2023
    https://www.rawstory.com/trump-mar-a-lago-indictment-2662555739/
"...the editors (of the Wall St. Journal)  made a strong case that GOP lawmakers should be furious with the former president for what he has put them through for years now.

"Republicans should also be angry at Mr. Trump, who is again the architect of his own destruction. He led the GOP to defeats, many of them driven by his personal grievances, in 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Add his Covid performance, the Jan. 6 riot, a $5 million civil jury verdict for sexual abuse, plus now a truly stupid alleged Mar-a-Lago coverup," they wrote before continuing, "Yet Mr. Trump still expects the GOP will save him from his own recklessness by nominating him for the White House a third time. He wants Republican voters, as he does Messrs. [Walt] Nauta and [Carlos] De Oliveira, to take the fall with him."

"Good luck if they do. The best revenge for Mr. Trump’s supporters would be to nominate a Republican who can beat Mr. Biden. That’s the way to restore apolitical justice," they concluded.

  8. Trump Handed Another Loss as Judge Dismisses His ‘Big Lie’ CNN Lawsuit

The former president’s claim that CNN likened him to Adolf Hitler by referring to ‘the Big Lie’ has officially flopped.

    byJosh Fiallo July. 29, 2023

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/trumps-big-lie-cnn-defamation-lawsuit-is-dismissed?ref=home?ref=home

“Trump was demanding $475 million in the suit, which was filed in the Southern District of Florida—the jurisdiction that covers Mar-a-Lago, his Palm Beach estate.

The former president had pointed to five instances where “the Big Lie” was used to describe his unfounded election claims—some stated live on air, others in opinion pieces published on CNN’s website.

[Judge] Singhal acknowledged, “bad rhetoric is not defamation when it does not include false statements of fact.” And, as its been proven in numerous recounts and audits, Trump’s claims about the 2020 election were indeed lies.”

BIG LIE! BIG LIE! BIG LIE!

    NANNY, NANNY BOO BOO

    YOU’RE A BIG xxxx!

(Trump’s lawyers are going, “Go ahead and file another stupid lawsuit. I don’t care. I’m getting rich in the process.”

  10. If I was the deep state and I wanted to destroy America, I would rig the election with a puppet candidate, one that was so compromised that they would never say a word about it. I would create a false flag that allows for mail-in ballots. I would be in charge of the ballot-counting machines. I would create a false flag to blame all who question the results of the election.

If I was the deep state, I would prosecute anyone that went against me. I would sue and prosecute anyone that spoke up about the fraudulent election. I would use my powers to shut down all your internet businesses and bankrupt you.

If I was the deep state, I would make everyone an example why you should never question a Democrat ever winning an election. I would imprison my foes. I would use my corrupt das and blackmail judges to destroy you. I would make sure all crimes I ever committed never happened. I would prosecute my biggest competition. I would make sure they could never run for office ever again.

If I was the deep state, I would convince everyone that Ukraine Nazis were good and women are men.

If I was the deep state, I would own every politician that mattered.

If I was the deep state, I would push my pedophilia ambitions on you.

If I was the deep state, you'd question your sexual identity, but not the medical establishment.

If I was the deep state, you would fear to ever resist me.

If I was the deep state, you would wish I was really the devil.

If I was the deep state, I would say mission accomplished.

The opening of a Miami FPCC chapter in 1963 by Santiago Garriga is more evidence of illegal domestic espionage on or through the FPCC by the CIA.

    Gene

    Gene,

I can't think of the FPCC without thinking of these two guys.

This is from the Simkin Educational Forum pages:

"On 1st June, 1953, [Jack] Caulfield joined the New York City Police Department. Caulfield spoke fluent Spanish and therefore two years later he was transferred to the NYPD's Bureau of Special Service and Investigation (BOSSI).

Caulfield also investigated political groups including the American Nazi Party, the Fair Play For Cuba Committee (FPCC) and a terrorist group based in Canada.

(ed. note: BOSSI was New York City’s Red Squad.)

In 1949 [Tony] Ulasewicz joined the NYPD's Bureau of Special Service and Investigation (BOSSI).

Richard Nixon defeated Hubert Humphrey in the 1968 presidential election and in April, 1969, Caulfield was appointed as Staff Assistant to the President. Soon afterwards Nixon decided that the White House should establish an in-house investigative capability that could be used to obtain sensitive political information. After consulting John Ehrlichman and H. R. Haldeman the job was given to Caulfield.

Caulfield now appointed an old friend, Tony Ulasewicz, to carry out this investigative work."

  12. Trump threats will only backfire on him — they prove Jack Smith's entire case

    Story by Amanda Marcotte

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-threats-will-only-backfire-on-him-they-prove-jack-smith-s-entire-case/ar-AA1egvYe?cvid=e4193b9d2b2b44ebb95566e75193858f&ei=24

“Trump isn't just whining in his usual all-caps style, however. He's also escalating his violent threats, in an impotent bid to scare federal prosecutors into backing down. On Tuesday, Trump gave an interview on an Iowa-based talk show where, mob-style, he issued a "warning" that was actually a threat. When asked about the possibility of going to jail, the former president said, "I think it's a very dangerous thing to even talk about, because we do have a tremendously passionate group of voters, much more passion than they had in 2020 and much more passion than they had in 2016."

Then on Thursday, Trump posted a video on his Truth Social account that was even less subtle. In it, ominous music plays over a shot of Trump's eyes glaring, as his voiceover says, "If you f**k around with us, if you do something bad to us, we are going to do things to you that have never been done before."

This is part of a larger pattern of Trump trying, with intermittent success, to replicate the events of January 6 by inciting his followers to violence. He posted photos suggesting he'd like to beat District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is prosecuting him for fraud in New York, with a baseball bat. He implicitly celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Branch Davidians' self-immolation in Waco, TX, with a rally that also valorized the January 6 riot. He posted former president Barack Obama's address, which led to a follower allegedly trying to assassinate Obama. He shared information about prosecutors' families, another obvious threat. He posted threatening rhetoric after the feds searched Mar-a-Lago for missing classified documents, which led to one follower dying in an attack on an FBI office.”

“Unsubtly begging his followers to use violence to block a legal proceeding is the standard operating procedure for Trump. Sure, it doesn't work most of the time. Mostly, his followers ignore his repeated entreaties that they go to prison in an ineffective bid to keep him out of it.

“"Stop saying I'm violent or I'll send people to murder your family" is an unpersuasive argument, of course. That Trump keeps going there, however, is a sign he is as desperate as he is stupid.”

    Paul,

You have to be a little careful with the MOWW. They are not a historical record like the Encyclopedia Britannica or something. They are a benevolent non-profit organization like the VFW. I wouldn't be surprised if the entries are written by the subjects themselves like Who's Who in America.
