  1. I saw the film last night, and got confused about something.

If CE 399 fell out of Kennedy's back during heart massage, it couldn't have gone through him and into Connally.

I don't ever remember reading about a big old hole in Connally's thigh. I thought they just recovered a few grains of lead.

If CE 399 had lodged in Connally's thigh, and just fell out on his stretcher, I think somebody would have noticed it when they moved him to the operating table.

PS: Good job Jim (and Oliver). I liked your segment on Lumumba.

Over 100 QAnon believers show up in Dallas waiting for JFK Jr -- who never arrives

by Brad Reed November 22, 2021

    https://www.rawstory.com/qanon-dallas-jfk-jr-2655776684/

“Over 100 believers in the QAnon conspiracy theory gathered in Dealey Plaza in Dallas on Monday morning in anticipation of the late John F. Kennedy Jr. coming back from the dead and declaring former President Donald Trump to be America's true president.

Much to their disappointment, however, the late son of former President John Kennedy never arrived, never proclaimed Trump the true president, and never revealed himself as Trump's new vice president.”

JFK-obsessed QAnon cultists set off alarms with ominous chatter: 'We have to experience physical death'

by Travis Gettys November 22, 2021

    https://www.rawstory.com/michael-brian-protzman-2655776085/

“Online conspiracist Michael Brian Protzman drew his followers, who call him Negative48, to Dallas last month to await the return of John F. Kennedy and his son John F. Kennedy Jr., but the tone of his comments turned morbid over the weekend in a video chat participants openly discussed their own deaths as part of a journey toward some unknowable truth, reported Vice.

"Ultimately," said one participant, "we have to experience that physical death ... let go ... come out on the other side."

An administrator for Protzman's Telegram channel posted an ominous screenshot hours later that showed the destination on a navigation app as Waco, Texas, where a months-long standoff between law enforcement and the Branch Davidian religious sect ended in the fiery deaths of 76 people, including 25 children. “

    Is the past, prologue?

    1) Integralism

There was a throwaway line in something Jean-Claude Perez told Fensterwald in 1982. He said that,

post 1962, Souetre was part of an ultra-right, ultra-Catholic splinter group which included four men named Pichon, Lefevre, Bourget, and Grossouvre. Group called Integraliste
    http://jfk.hood.edu/Collection/Weisberg%20Subject%20Index%20Files/S%20Disk/Souetre%20Jean%20with%20aka%27s/Item%2011.pdf

    p. 4.

(Albert Lefevre, by the way, was the one man I could find that both stood trial with Souetre in December, 1961 and who escaped with him from the Camp at St. Maurice L'Ardoise in February, 1962.)

    From Wikipedia:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integralism

Integralism is an ideology according to which a nation is an organic unity. Integralism defends social differentiation and hierarchy with co-operation between social classes, transcending conflict between social and economic groups. It advocates trade unionism (or a guild system), corporatism, and organic political representation instead of ideological forms of representation. Integralism claims that the best political institutions for given nations will differ depending on the history, culture and climate of the nation's habitat. Often associated with blood and soil conservatism, it posits the nation or the state or the nation state as an end and a moral good, rather than a means.[1]

The term integralism was coined by the French journalist Charles Maurras, whose conception of nationalism was illiberal and anti-internationalist, elevating the interest of the state above that of the individual and above humanity in general.[1]

Although it is marked by its being exclusionary and particularistic, and there has been consideration of its historic role as a sort of proto-fascism (in a European context)[1] or para-fascism (in a South American context),[2] this link remains controversial, with some social scientists positing that it combines elements of both the political left and right.[3]

Catholic Integralism does not support the creation of an autonomous "Catholic" state church, or Erastianism (Gallicanism in French context). Rather it supports subordinating the state to the worldwide Catholicism under the leadership of the Pope. Thus it rejects separation of the Catholic Church from the state and favours Catholicism as the proclaimed religion of the state.[5]

Catholic Integralism appeals to the teaching on the subordination of temporal to spiritual power of medieval popes such as Pope Gregory VII and Pope Boniface VIII. But Catholic Integralism in the strict sense came about as a reaction against the political and cultural changes which followed the Enlightenment and the French Revolution.[6

Steve Bannon's criminal indictment is the best thing that's ever happened to him

by Heather Digby Parton, Salon https://www.rawstory.com/u/heather_digby_parton_salon

    November 15, 2021

    https://www.rawstory.com/steve-bannon-s-criminal-indictment-is-the-best-thing-that-s-ever-happened-to-him/

Bannon tried to make himself into a kingmaker during the 2018 primaries but saw dismal results so he spent the next couple of years wandering around the world, connecting up with leaders of other authoritarian regimes, acting as something of an alt-right entrepreneur. Nothing much came of it, at least institutionally. Bannon's ballyhooed global far-right movement he branded with an exceptionally catchy name, "The Movement," failed to ever get off the ground. Likewise, his hopes to start a far-right Catholic political academy in an 800-year-old monastery in Italy were thwarted last March when The Council of State ruled against it after years of court battles. Bannon was designing the curriculum for the Academy for the Judeo-Christian West for Catholic activists in which, as The New Yorker's Ben Munster put it, "a new class of right-wing 'culture warriors' would be trained."”

Bannon's philosophy has been written about quite a bit, including by yours truly, because it is extremely radical and very, very weird. It's all wacky mysticism mixed with antediluvian, pre-enlightenment, authoritarianism posing as nationalism based upon the writings of an obscure French writer named René Guénon from the early 20th century and the teachings of one of his followers (and Mussolini adviser) Julius Evola. (If you're interested in going deep, these articles will fill you in.) The school of thought is called "Traditionalism" and it is like no tradition you've ever heard of. But Bannon is not alone with this philosophy. It's held by members of far-right leaders' inner circles throughout Europe and in places like Brazil and Russia. If there is an intellectual rationale for Trumpism beyond the Dear Leader cult of personality, this "traditionalism" is it.”

  4. Flu shots uptake is now partisan. It didn't use to be

by Harry Enten, CNN November 14, 2021

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/14/politics/flu-partisan-divide-analysis/index.html

“Uptake of the Covid-19 vaccine has, unfortunately, become partisan like so much else in our society. Almost every Democratic adult (90% to 95%) has gotten a shot, while a little less than two-thirds of Republican adults have.

That partisanship appears to have transferred to at least one other important vaccination. An examination of flu shot data suggests that which party people belong to is highly correlated with whether they have or will get a flu shot this season -- something that was not predictive of flu shot uptake the last few years.

Take a look at two recent polls that have asked about whether or not people have gotten the flu shot: Axios/Ipsos and Kaiser Family Foundation. By assessing two polls instead of one, we know what we're seeing is a real phenomenon and not statistical noise.

According to the Ipsos data, 68% of Democrats said they have gotten a flu shot or are very likely to get one. Just 44% of Republicans said the same. This 24-point gap is very similar to the 30-point gap for Covid-19 vaccines.

The Kaiser poll shows basically the same thing. A clear majority (65%) of Democrats indicated that they had received or will definitely receive the flu shot. Just 40% of Republicans indicated they would. The 25-point partisan gap in this data is a near carbon copy of the 24-point gap in the Ipsos poll.”

    Oswald's shirt
    by Gil Jesus ( 2021 )

After his arrest, Oswald told the Dallas Police that after he left work, he went to his room and changed his clothes.

The significance of this is that if true, then the witness Mrs. Bledsoe, who claimed to have seen him on the bus wearing the arrested shirt ( CE 150 ) BEFORE he got to his roominghouse, was either lying or simply mistaken.

The evidence also proves that Bledsoe had NOT seen this shirt prior to its being shown to her by the FBI.

This is my opinion based on the evidence I've seen.

    Gil,

If you read Bledsoe's WC testimony carefully, she identified the shirt she was shown during her testimony as being the same shirt she was shown by the Secret Service out at her house.

    Mr. Ball.
Now, I have got a piece of clothing here, which is marked---
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
    That is it.
    Mr. Ball.
    Commission Exhibit 150.
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
    That is it.
    Mr. Ball.
    This is a shirt.
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
    That is it.
    Mr. Ball.
What do you mean by "that is it?"
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
Because they brought it out to the house and showed it.
    Mr. Ball.
I know. What do you mean by "that is it?"
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
Well, because I can recognize it.
    Mr. Ball.
Yes. You tell me what do you see here? What permits you to recognize it?
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
I recognize---first thing I notice the elbow is out and then I saw---when the man brought it out and let me see it?
    Mr. Ball.
No, I am talking about---I am showing you this shirt now, and you said, "That is it." You mean---What do you mean by "that is it"?
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
That is the one he had out there that day?
    Mr. Ball.
    Who had it out there?
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
    Some Secret Service man.
    Mr. Ball.
He brought it out. Now, I am---you have seen this shirt then before?
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
    Yes.
    Mr. Ball.
It was brought out by the Secret Service man and shown to you?
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
    Yes.
    Mr. Ball.
Had you ever seen the shirt before that?
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
    Well---
    Mr. Ball.
    Have you?
    Mrs. Bledsoe.
No; he had it on, though.

"Were you worried about him during that siege? Were you worried about his safety?" Trump was asked.

"No, I thought he was well-protected, and I had heard that he was in good shape. No. Because I had heard he was in very good shape. But, but, no, I think — " the former president blandly replied as Karl interjected, "Because you heard those chants — that was terrible. I mean — "

"He could have — well, the people were very angry," Trump replied before going on an extended rant.

"Because it's common sense, Jon. It's common sense that you're supposed to protect. How can you — if you know a vote is fraudulent, right? — how can you pass on a fraudulent vote to Congress?" Trump asked. "How can you do that?"

  8. Ted Cruz Talks About Joe Rogan Being 'President' Of Texas If State Secedes From U.S.

"If there comes a point where it’s hopeless, then I think we take NASA, we take the military, we take the oil,” Cruz told an audience at Texas A&M University.

    By  Mary Papenfuss 11/07/2021

    https://www.huffpost.com/entry/ted-cruz-joe-rogan-texas-secession_n_6188864ce4b055e47d7c1480

“When Cruz was asked by a member of the audience about the possibility of seceding, he said he “understood the sentiment.” But he added that he wasn’t ready for it — yet.

“I’m not ready to give up on America. I love this country,” he said, again to applause.

For one thing, Cruz insisted, Texas has a “responsibility” to the nation because “right now it’s an amazing force keeping America from going off the cliff, keeping America grounded in the values that built this country.”

But he’s prepared to change his mind.

“Look, if the Democrats end the filibuster ... if they pack the Supreme Court, if they make D.C. a state, if they federalize elections and massively expand voter fraud,” which doesn’t exist, “it may become hopeless,” Cruz said. “We’re not there yet.”

But if it does become “hopeless,” that’s when the state should grab NASA, the military and the oil, he added.

When asked this week what he thinks about the Texas secessionist / independence movement called “Texit,” Ted Cruz says it might be appropriate if certain things happen, and that Joe Rogan should be President of an independent Texas. pic.twitter.com/3crlZlh8VL

I've long been intrigued by the gray jacket found on Industrial Ave. and turned over to the police.

Erich Kaminski is also the Officer who was given the jacket found by James Clark Larue on Industrial Ave. under the Ft. Worth Turnpike. Kaminsky turned it over to the Homicide and Robbery Bureau.(Dallas Municipal Archives Box 4, Folder# 3, Item# 26, page 3. This entry is on the list of TSBD employees compiled by Ray Westphal and J.M. Why is it included in a list of TSBD employees?

Why was it turned over to Robbery and Homicide?

Why was it being "held for evidence"? Evidence of what?

I don’t think anyone in this country is prepared for the destruction and lack of conventional modern amenities that accompanies war.  Deliveries of every sort of goods from food to major appliances to clothing to…well, everything will be disrupted.  Electricity will be absent or at best intermittent as one side attempts to damage the other by taking out generating plants and power distribution infrastructure.”

Meanwhile, because refrigeration was not reliable, food shopping had to be done daily, and if fighting interrupted deliveries of fresh vegetables or canned foods to markets, there wasn’t any food, sometimes for days, even weeks.”

A civil war can be relied upon to maintain one thriving market:  the sale of weapons and ammunition of all kinds will be rampant.  Smuggling from outside the country will bring in all manner of heavy weapons and other materiel.  If there is a war, there is one predominate need, and that is for weapons with which to destroy and kill. They will be everywhere.”

I don't recognize the tall white building over the top of Clint Hill's head, but if you take a look at Google Earth, you can see large buildings extending north along Stemmons Freeway for quite some distance. If you read the first few entries of the Dallas Dispatch tapes, there was some concern about the large numbers of people crossing Stemmons Freeway on foot. I think that's reflected in the crowd of people lining the highway in the first picture you showed.

In the second (small) picture in your second post, you can still see Clint Hill's right leg extended out over trunk. I sure as heck wouldn't want to travel down the interstate doing 80 mph trying to balance like that, but who am I to say?
