  1. DA: It's fairly obvious that Fritz is not in charge. Neither he nor the... Yes, David Andrews, more interesting events and observations. But it's all just one big coincidence and can be chalked up to sheer happenstance. ;-) Another mere coincidence - the Wade press conference when he says LHO belonged to the anti-Castro organization. Then off-camera grieving sandwich man Jack Ruby, bumbling idiot that he was, corrects him. And oh, my goodness, why would a run-of-the-mill nightclub owner and sandwich man even care which organization LHO belonged to?
  2. Sandy - FWIW, I also believe Altgen 6 has been altered. Even though it was released early and would have had to be altered quickly, I still believe it was altered. It's hard to believe that officials would release a photo that needed altering, but I still believe it's been altered. Sandy - I really don't think it was altered. As you say above, it was shown on live TV Friday night (I think by Cronkite). Here is the reverse negative of the photo: Think about it - how would they even know what to cover up that early in the game? I can imagine Altgens going to some photo lab, getting his roll developed, probably hanging out elsewhere to maybe take more photos (or maybe not), calling into his boss to report in, giving the photos to the newswires, and then the photo is broadcast to the world. And look at the above photo. With no digital technology, and with not knowing what to alter anyway, I think there was no need to alter the photo.
  3. DVP: But, as usual, nothing is too ridiculous for most Internet CTers, not even that preposterous theory about Captain John Will Fritz being a plotter. David, I never said Fritz was part of a plot. I'm merely pointing out what you'd call interesting behavior from a 30-year police veteran who was charged with protecting the most important criminal suspect of his career - the alleged murderer of the president and one of his own - the casual stroll down the hall feet in front of the suspect instead of staying in front of him to protect him (while his entire police force is lined up as an outer ring of protection and watching their colleague as he shows them how it's done); the cool as a cucumber reaction to the gunshot while the kid next to him jumps out of his pants; the "aw, shucks, do I have to turn around and look at the dirty deed?" reaction. Just like it was also interesting behavior for police to allow their so-called sandwich man Jack Ruby to get into the basement, which was supposedly sealed off, to pull the trigger. And it was also an amazing incident when they find a wallet with Oswald's ID card in it lying right next to the victim ("Hello!") while Oswald had a second wallet on him, and yet he had a third at his rooming house. I could go on - a literally intact bullet that suppposedly went through two bodies causing extensive bone damage to the second victim; a guy who takes photos of the so-called fleeing suspect riding on a bus after the shooting, and who happens to also be there taking photos when he's arrested, gives the FBI permission to develop the photos, then flees himself to Panama, of all places. Generally, people in life get a break or two and either go with it or not, which can lead to success or failure. If you're rich, well, you'll get more breaks ("money talks"). But for November 22-24, 1963, it's always been mind-boggling to me how so many, many coincidences and interesting events took place that weekend. But I digress about it being a plot :-)
  4. David, thanks for posting this on your site and here. Oh, boy I never fail to get a kick out of old Will Fritz doing his slow, casual walk ahead of LHO, breaking the 4-point security ring of Oswald. Even the guy standing right next to Fritz is startled by the shot after it's fired, but not old Will. Right after the shot, it looks like Fritz doesn't even want to turn around and look to see what had just happened.
  5. Hello Michael, - I like your video. There are some interesting moments in it that were novel to me, in particular the point that Umbrella man lifted his umbrella to capture President's attention... Hi Andrej - glad you like the video. I always try to not get too carried away with theories but I agree I do think it was just either a huge coincidence about the umbrella, and also the tall black guy that was standing near the umbrella guy, or something more sinister. After the shots, they both stood around, calmly sat down on the curb (near each other) and then walked away going in opposite directions. They had a great view of Kennedy's head blowing up so at the least, you'd think they'd react to that but they don't appear to have. I've read some pretty crazy theories about how the umbrella shot darts or whatnot. In my mind, that didn't happen because what if a dart had fired and hit the Governor, or a SS agent, or Jackie? The risk of exposure would have been enormous. And I think because the planners knew that they had more than enough coverage to kill Kennedy, it'd be overkill to have a guy standing there firing darts from an umbrella. Still, having two people there - the umbrella guy and black guy - of all places just seems peculiar to say the least. If you watch the black guy, he's almost acting as if he's signaling something rather than waving or clapping because he's happy to see the limo. He's got his arm straight up in the air rather than folded to say, "Hi!" or that kind of behavior. Anyway, hope your 3D animation is coming along. I built a 3D animation of Dealey Plaza but I'm going to put it on hold and work on other JFK things, especially my pet project of showing how the Zapruder film is not a fake If you're interested I could send you the SU file and you can take a look at it if you want. If you're interested send me a PM and we'll work it out.
  6. Thank you Andrej I look forward to receiving your PM when you're ready. One other thing - I used to think doorway man was Oswald. I was so sure of it I made a video about it back in 2013 that you can see here: https://youtu.be/KOA7QOCJtv0 You'll see in the above video how I thought LHO was the man in the doorway. But with all of the work that's been put into PM now, I realize it was Lovelady who was the man in the doorway and LHO is PM.
  7. Hello Michael, thanks for your comments and for viewing my blog... Sounds great, Andrej, I look forward to reading more on your blog. As I said you've done a really nice job with Sketchup. I made a short SU clip a while back of my patio area: SU 3D animation sample ...so I know you can make some very detailed and precisely measured models with it. I agree about the time consuming process too. It does take a long time to set stuff up in SU. Is there any way you can alert me to let me know your blog has been updated? Maybe send me a PM through the EF messenger?
  8. Dear Richard, - I admit that I do not understand why you would be "buddying" me like a python... Andrej, I just read your blog and you did a great job of re-creating the doorway scene in Sketchup. I, too, have used Sketchup and because you can make precise measurements in this software, your work confirms for me that Oswald was Prayer Man and is taking a single step down, which is why it makes him to appear shorter than he really is (5-9). The only thing I'm wondering though is PM is shown in the film and seconds later, too, in the exact same position so would someone have continued to stand with one leg down the steps all of that time? It just seems like an awful long time for someone to stand that way which can get quite uncomfortable. Also, and for what it's worth, I disagree with you about the Altgens photo being altered. I just don't think there was a need for it to be altered because the government's proof of showing that the doorway man was not Oswald and was instead Lovelady is that it *was* a case of mistaken identity. Therefore, there was no need to alter the photo. Also, the photo was in the public domain within hours of the murder so there's no way that they could have forged it anyway. But great job on the Sketchup work. Michael Walton
  9. Bart - thanks for posting and would you mind summarizing the significance of these documents in relation to the assassination?
  10. Just leaving this here - Ruby's own words: https://youtu.be/xd1wuXrVPjo
  11. Paul - thanks so much for getting this thread to appear on the EF home page. This is the thread I meant in another thread about Baker's testimony. I plan to copy the link of this thread over there so others can easily find it.
  12. DL - In other words, it cannot possibly be viewed as coincidence that a returned defector--one of a half doze such persons in a nation of almost 200 million--ended up being employed on the President's parade route. David Lifton, sorry I didn't reply to you on your previous reply to me as I actually overlooked it. But thanks for your reply and yes, I agree with you 100%. The murder was well-planned and everything was just too neat and too pat. They got Oswald working there and the TSBD was the "throw-down" building or "patsy headquarters" if you will for the planners with the shells, the hidden gun, and so forth. Oswald had three wallets (three!), one thrown down at Tippit's murder scene, they broadcast him within 15 minutes of Kennedy's shooting...I mean, I can go on and on. The midnight press conference...I know you can't go by gut instinct but just watching it convinces me this guy *knew* he was getting screwed over. I like to compare him with the very arrogant Tim McVeigh with his scowl on his face and chin jutting out. I know this may sound like a crazy comparison but believe me cops do the same thing - they study people and then go by gut instinct. He just does not look like a person who killed Kennedy and a police officer and during one of his calls that weekend he was talking about one of his babies needing new shoes. I'll always believe, too, that Oswald was supposed to have been murdered at the theater to shut him up when he was arrested but something went wrong so Ruby was brought in to finish him off on live TV no less. I know I'm all over the place here now but thanks for replying to my post.
  13. David - I agree it does look like he's stepping up or hopping up onto the sidewalk. Is there a sewer drainage hole cut into the sidewalk there? I've been known to kind of hop up onto the sidewalk while walking on city streets when I'm close to a drainage hole cut into the sidewalk so that appears to be what he was doing. Sandy - thanks for the clarification. In your very first post in this thread, the intro starts out great until I read this line: "But it's a mere illusion, as I will show here in this post." That line really threw off the intro, at least for me. This line, too, kind of threw me off: "I will now proceed to prove that officer Baker had no intention of running into the TSBD when he began his mad dash, and didn't enter till later. As you will see, this is yet one more nail in the coffin of the Baker-Oswald second-floor lunchroom encounter myth." So when I read those two quotes above, it kind of muddied your intro, at least in my mind, because it kind of sounds like you're making it seem like he changed tracks from D-T to TSBD, but then in the last sentence ("As you will see...") that was a nice comeback as you clarify that you hope to show that the lunchroom encounter was a myth. EDIT - please visit this thread on this forum with more high-quality research of the Baker encounter with Oswald: http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=20354
  14. DVP: Absolutely... Excellent. I use Google Drive too so that would work perfectly. I will send you a PM through this forum about the one I'd like to use. My software (Premiere) should work with Windows Media (WMV) with no problem but if you have the closer-to-raw (1st generation encoded) that would be outstanding as well. Thanks, David
  15. Sandy, I appreciate the work you put into this but I'm really not seeing the relevance. I mean it's obvious a great little slice of the event captured on film of him running into the TSBD is what we see in the GIF. And the far more intriguing part of it is the Prayer Man figure still standing there at the top of the stairs. There are people standing, looking, walking, and running amid the confusion of what just happened in that clip but I just don't see how you can take such a huge leap to assume he's heading over to D-T, then cuts and runs into TSBD. And even if he did cut and run, what does it really matter anyway?
  16. Hi David, I'm genuinely curious but how have you been able to acquire such a great collection of videos and radio clips? It's quite impressive. Also, are you ever willing to share the original MP4 files with other researchers so they can use them to produce educational videos about the case?
  17. Hi Sandy, I have some questions - and sorry to play the role of devil's advocate here - but what is the point if Baker was heading to the Dal-Tex building and changed directions and went to the TSBD instead? And more importantly, does it really matter? FWIW, I do suspect that shots came from the D-T building because that building had a far more advantageous sight line of Elm Street and there were no trees blocking the motorcade route. I've read that some believe that shots were fired as low as the 3rd floor as seen in the photo below: View from D-T Building But I don't think it could have happened that low because the SS car would have been blocking the view to Kennedy. But anyway, I'm just wondering about your post and whether speculation if Baker was heading to that building does anything for researchers, new and old alike? Thanks, Michael W. PS - nice work on the GIFs
  18. I remember seeing this series when it was first broadcast on the History Channel. Now that I'm older and I hope a little bit wiser, I've come to believe this series is one of the most, if not the most, counter-mainstream series about the case that you'll ever have an opportunity to see. With of course numerous flaws in between. The Connally interview in the very first episode is conspiracy gold in my book. No matter how many people out there who still want to believe or push the official story on the public, watching JBC describe what happened should completely silence those folks. The man was mere feet away from the President when he heard the first shot, turned, started to turn again, and then took his shot. If that isn't enough to demolish the SBT I don't know what is. And watching the Zapruder film confirms everything he said. Also in EP 1 (I'm not doing all of the EPs here as anyone can watch them on YTV), but I find it almost humorous how Jim Leavelle describes the car that was supposed to take Oswald away was "...not quite where it was supposed to be." OK, fine, then why didn't you just stop and wait and tell the others to put the car where it was supposed to be? It was your job to protect the prisoner. Then, my all-time favorite of that sordid event was old Will Fritz, breaking the security ring (he was supposed to be in front of Oswald protecting him from people like Ruby) and casually walking ahead, making sure he's looking at anything except what's about to happen: Oswald Getting Shot with Fritz Looking at a Piece of Cheese in the Corner But back to the series, the part that kind of ruined it for me was the "French connection" aspect of the shooting. The producers at that point were reaching way, way out there.
  19. I'll never understand why folks take a simple photo interpretation and make it much more complicated and convoluted than it needs to be. All you have to do is watch the GIF and things become very clear. First, simply look at the black guy and then the lady with her hand up shielding her eyes from the sun. Watch them both in the GIF - back and forth and back again. Between the two GIF frames, they barely or hardly move at all. Also, look at the "BOOK" word carved in at the top of the entrance. Because "BOOK" are neatly aligned between the two images, we now know they're lined up well. These three benchmarks - black guy, shielding eyes lady, and BOOK on the building, are excellent sources because they do not move between the two images. Thus, any movement elsewhere between the two images, can be analyzed better. Next, look at the PM/Oswald figure. Between the two GIF images, his body does not move except his arm, which is raised. Could he be taking a drink from his Coke bottle? Who know, seems likely, but we'll never know for sure so there's no use in speculating it to death. But it's obvious he's moving his arm upward. So now you have four good benchmarks in your photo interpretation. There's no need for trigonometry, math rules, and so on. The final interpretation is Lovelady. As seen in one of the GIF images, it's clear he's leaning outward from his stance and looking down Elm similar to his leaning outward stance as seen in the Altgens photo. The next photo of him in the GIF his head drops downward, which tells me he probably took a step downward from his leaning outward stance. His head also appears to have turned as if he's turned his gaze from Elm (like in Altgens) and is looking at the other cars coming toward him on Houston. At this point, you have a pretty good interpretation. The work the PM people put into this, especially the document trying to account for everyone who was in the TSBD, is outstanding. The work they did to show the fudging of Baker's testimony is also outstanding. And the clincher, for me, is Oswald's own words: “Out with Bill Shelley in front.” ** ** Fritz notes were not mentioned by the Warren Commission and were hidden from the public until 1997 It's convinced me that the guy raising his arm was Oswald, the man we all know was set up to take the fall for the murder. Does it really matter if the PM figure is standing 3 feet, or 4, or 1 1/2, away from the wall? Why should it matter? Watch the GIF and have faith that the images are telling you what's happening in them. PM GIF with Dissolve
  20. CD: Yet, you didn't include this...originally, did you? Chris, The original quote that I added to your "Swan Song" was a counter-argument to your thread's topic, which is: Chris thinks the Z film was altered Chris attempts to use Math to prove the film alteration My quote was an argument to yours attempting to show that the Z film was not altered, that there was no reason to alter it, and that the Z film is the most important piece of the case, and that's why it was kept from the public for 12 years. This thread, called "Why CBS Covered up the JFK Case (pt1)" is a completely different topic than the "Swan Song" thread. This thread is about how the media was manipulated by the government to fit the conclusions of the WC now and forever. So rather than pull my entire "Swan Song" quote and put it here, I paraphrased it to show how media manipulation started as early as 11/25/63 on live TV when Rather ignored describing the part of the Z film showing Kennedy's body being slammed violently backward against the car seat.
  21. It says you can join in remotely. Can you please post how you can do this? Also, the times listed on the program - what times are those (local)? If so, what would the times be for the U.S.? FWIW - I think the Prayer Man info is very interesting. I try to be very "realistic" about this case (no "Jackie/SS/limo driver shot JFK" and other silliness for me) but that figure in the freeze frames looks an awful lot like LHO. And based on the other PM research, it makes perfect logistical sense for him to be right there.
  22. Here's the clip: Dan Rather on David Letterman Show One Week After 9-11 Related to Dan Rather and the manipulation of the media, he was on board as an official mouthpiece as early as 11/25/63 when he played his role of "reporter" perfectly. He did this as an observer of the Zapruder film that night on live TV describing the Z film head shot as "Kennedy's head falls forward" (and dramatically acts it out on air). And never mind it took the public 12 long years to see the film for ourselves and to draw our own conclusions. Elsewhere on this forum, another commentator said that his head does fall forward (in other words, Rather was telling the truth). I agreed with him and replied further: "Yes, [xxxx], he says it falls forward and it does. But what speaks much, much louder is what he did NOT say - that his head is then thrown violently backward. As a reporter reporting, his obligation to his audience was to report *everything.* Thus, the disinformation campaign [between the government and the media] had begun at that point."
  23. Here we go again. Nurse Henchliffe testifies that the wound in the neck is one of entrance. Then Specter does another one of those "conferring with the person testifying behind closed doors" deals, returns with some lawyer speak and gets her to fudge and say it could be an exit wound. http://www.history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh6/pdf/WH6_Henchliffe.pdf This sure was an "honest, vigorous pursuit of the truth."
