Saint John Hunt's interview last night

E. Howard Hunt Update

Filling in for Art Bell, Ian Punnett welcomed back the eldest son of "super-spy" E. Howard Hunt, Saint John Hunt, to coastotocoastam on June 2 for an update on what his father knew about the plot to assassinate President Kennedy and how the news media has reacted to this story.

Should you wish to listen to the four hour show at a nominal cost, click on the link below:

http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/2007/06/02.html#recap

Among the highlights of the interview were:

(1) Saint John said that William F. Buckley refused to write the Introduction to Howard Hunt’s biography, American Spy, until the reference to LBJ’s involvement in the JFK assassination was diluted. The CIA, which had to approve contents of the book, took the same position.

(2) Richard Hoagland, former science adviser to Walter Cronkite and former consultant to NASA, phoned in to say that he is writing a book on the history of NASA and that in the course of research he had uncovered evidence of LBJ’s role in the assassination. His said that LBJ was the tool of certain interests that he will describe in his new book and that the same interests told LBJ to “fold his cards” and not seek re-election in 1968 because he had fulfilled his assigned mission.

(3) Another caller said that Texans were deeply involved in the JFK assassination and that she spoke from personal knowledge as her father was a close associate of LBJ and that she was at one time married to a relative of Billie Sol Estes.

All in all, the interview with Saint John was extremely informative.

Don't get too excited about Richard Hoagland.

He is the main proponent of the so-called Face on Mars theory.

This is not intended as a negative judgment of any such hypothesis, but rather as a heads-up that anything Hoagland proffers will be subject to ridicule because of his Martian civilization contentions.

Yet again focus on the "who and why" negatively impacts our efforts to seek and attain justice based on demonstration of the conspiratorial "how."

(2) Richard Hoagland, former science adviser to Walter Cronkite and former consultant to NASA,

Hoagland was never a consultant to NASA. He was making loud noises about the alleged face on Mars and NASA, in the interest of public debate, invited him to speak at one of their public forums.

I failed to note in my report on the interview that Saint John said that he was in discussions with "60 Minutes" about a possible segment on its program dealing with the tape recording that his father had given to him to be released after his death.

I have always assumed that Hunt, if he was involved in Dallas or had knowledge of who was involved, was allowed to live to a ripe old age because of his ability, apparently respected by the CIA, to keep his mouth shut. If this is true, it doesn't make much sense for him to write a book, which the CIA would have to vet, fingering LBJ and CIA agents in its original form.

Was this perhaps a form of suicide, given Hunt's unhealthy condition in the last few years? Or is it simply disinformation, one more job performed for the Company before kicking the bucket?

The disinformation possibility doesn't make a lot of sense either, since for disinformation to be effective, it has to be known, whereas Hunt's "confession" has remained under a mainstream news blackout. If this was disinformation, 60 Minutes would have already broadcast a segment with hoopla.

In sum, I don't know what to make of the whole thing.

I have an undocumented speculation as well as a question !

I speculate that it was not a belief that Hunt would keep his "mouth closed" that kept him alive as he had already, at his threat of "spilling the beans", been paid "bribe money".

I feel that this "clever weasel" had protected himself against "termination", by letting it be well known that, his "untimely death" would RELEASE the "truths of which he had proof", regarding JFK !

The question that I mentioned .... is really not a question at all! We all understand the stratospheric level of money and power that has and does control the media. The "talking heads", are for the most part, mere mechanics who who could not fill the employment positions of a great many members of this forum.

What I QUESTION most strongly is the "WHY" that we "free" Americans, continue to endorse and re-elect to power those hundreds of "purchased puppets", that comprise our joint houses of Congress ?

Without their acknowledgement, approval and "absolutely obvious SELL OUT" to those "higher than HEAVENLY powers"....the truth would be where it was meant to be.....in the hands of we the "governing governed" ! This is what hundreds of thousands of young men thought that they were sacrificing their lives for !

Charlie,

I agree. In my humble opinion, Hunt probably had some highly-incriminating documents, tape recordings, and/or photos (original negatives) stashed away in a several safe places and let certain elements of the CIA/FBI/Mafia see and/or listen to the Zeroxes, copies and/or prints of said incriminating items with the understanding that if he died under suspicious circumstances, said "evidence" would be made "public."

Heck, who knows... Maybe Hunt really was that "old tramp" being escorted by "police" down the Elm Street extention and maybe he was carrying a Minox (or some such small camera) in the smallish paper bag visible in his left hand in some of the photos. Maybe he had taken photos of the shooters, spotters and/or radiomen in action....

Nah, it was probably a radio....

I forgot about the possibility that he had evidence stashed away as an insurance policy. That makes sense. But it raises the frustrating question of what happened to this material. As he apparently died a natural death, will this evidence be forever stashed away in unknown locations? Is all we'll ever know about the tape that he left his son?

It looks like Hunt couldn't even die without bungling it. But then I guess if they let him live on to die a natural death, he had no cause to expose them post-mortem with this material. In any case I guess we'll never see it.

I agree that EHH was probably able to die in bed because he had mechanism in place to publicize the details of the assassination of JFK if he was murdered.

He was apparently a good boy to the end by publishing his book which deflected blame for the assassination away from the CIA.

I haven't read his book, but I have read about it on this forum.

I hope that St. John Hunt writes a book with his knowledge of what happened in Dallas.

Makes you wonder what was in Hunt's safe at the White House that got opened after Watergate.

Who was it, (L. Patrick Gray?) who gathered it all up and threw it in the Potomac?

I imagine Hunt knew that the Nixon White House (where Nixon said "that Hunt knows a hell of a lot") was not the best place to stash his evidence of who killed JFK. It's not surprising that whatever he had in the safe there got deep-sixed. (No honor among thieves and all that.)

St. John Hunt, smells like Ricky White. If his dad he told me it was June 7th, I'd check the calender. Sorry !
